Reg and Sue's condo is just as advertised--everything you need for a great stay in Waikoloa. It's a large and welcoming place, and was perfect for us (3 adults). We loved that there was beach gear (chairs, towels, masks, snorkels, boogie boards, coolers). The location is great to go north to beaches, east to Hilo, or south to Kona. And the condo is well insulated to keep out any noise or heat. October was a wonderful time to travel to the Big Island--temps were between 70 and 80 and the ocean was lovely.

They have everything you need. The king bed is very comfortable but the queen is not. I’m sure it would be fine for kids though. The pool & hot tub are very close and nice. Very close to shops and several restaurants. We enjoyed it and would stay again.

We loved staying here. The condo had everything we needed from beach toys, to a stocked kitchen. The location couldn’t have been better, the beds were comfortable, and we loved eating outside at the lanai. My kids wanted to go to the pool every day which was just outside our door. Absolutely recommend staying here!

We love this condo! We have stayed 2 times with a 3rd stay pending. It provides everything we need. It is kept very clean. The location is walking distance to the King/Queen shops.The pool is very close and not crowded. We enjoyed the hot tub every evening.The kitchen had what we needed. The area of this condo is very quiet which we love. The owners are very responsive. We highly recommend this Condo.

What a perfect 25 Anniversary trip. The condo is in the best location. Walking distance to fabulous sunsets, great restaurants and beautiful beaches. Loved the tile in the bathroom, the great air flow in the home. The outdoor lani, the pool. I am so sad to leave. This place felt like home. I can’t wait to return.

This is an older condo in the Waikoloa area. We liked the location of the condo within the property development. The master bath has been recently updated and is first class. The kitchen could use some improvements, but overall we were very satisfied.

This property is a great location, very quite, great salt water pool, near trails and the store. The fitness center needs an overhaul and a good cleaning, and the TV technology is not the best at supporting streaming movies, etc. Otherwise, though, its a great place for a good price.

This was our 2nd stay at The Vista Waikoloa, sam unit and it was 👍 perfect and in Ma great location. Close to shops and dining, and a great place for walking, which did every morning. The grounds and pool were wonderful. Reg was a very good about communicating when we needed him. Sorry it is not available for us in January 2023…

This is an ideal condo for two couples or a small family.. perfect location in the Waikoloa complex. We enjoyed snorkeling, sunset walks, Lava Lava beach club, a short drive to dinner at Merrimans, all within easy reach. The condo has everything you would want. Reg and Sue went out of their way to make up for a mistake by their cleaning crew, who didn’t finish cleaning because they thought we were arriving a day later. Reg gave us a generous refund even though all we really had to do was make our own beds. Couldn’t ask for better hosts willing to go the extra mile.

I was surprised that the condo looks better in person than pictures. It has everything we need and located next to the salted swimming pool which the kids loved using. The condo was very spacious for the five of us and the owners were very responsive.

We really enjoyed staying at Reg and Sue’s place. It was so luxurious for the two of us we really felt like we were spoiling ourselves! The location to the pool was great. Only a short walk to the beach to catch the sunsets. Communication with Reg was super fast and helpful. The complex was quiet and private. There are many beautiful beaches nearby! The property is extremely nice, spacious, and well maintained. The décor and attention to details were impressive. It was appointed with everything we could need at the beach or staying in for a relaxing evening. Several good restaurants, shops and a golf course are within walking distance. Wi-Fi was fast and flawless. The Access codes for the gate and condo were provided prior to our arrival along with excellent directions from the airport, a condo “user’s guide”, a local map, restaurant recommendations, and a list of “Things to Do”. As another example of great communications, we locked ourselves out shortly after we arrived as we are not accustomed to using a door key versus a door code. The property manager responded to our plea for help within 5 minutes! Learn from our mistake … The key is stored in a push-button lockbox outside the unit. Do not take the key inside! We highly recommend this property.

It is so easy to give 5 stars for this condo, and especially another 5 starts just for Reg & Sue! Considering the roller coaster of changing rules regarding travel to Hawai'i in the past few months, we went from hoping the trip would happen when we booked early this year, to excitement in July knowing it was a sure thing, only to being days of having to cancel due to the delta variant and the evolving health crisis in Hawai'i and the Governor telling visitors not to come. We did...Reg & Sue were super flexible on the refund policy, and that was the deciding factor in us being able to go. Communication with Reg & Sue throughout was top-notch...prompt responses and very helpful information.
Of all of the places we have rented over the years in Hawai'i', this unit is by far the best! The unit was clean, lots of amenities, the grounds are manicured and well maintained, and the pictures accurately describe the unit. The pool is bigger than it looks, the parking spot is very close to the unit, and the complex is right in the middle of the Waikoloa resort area and close to the beach.

Only glitch was the condo was NOT cleaned when we arrived at 4pm. Called the owners & property manager sent cleaning crew about 1 hour later. Otherwise , condo is nice with fluffy towels, beach towels, beach chairs, ice chest & beach toys. The 2 bedrooms are both good sized. TV has Netflix etc... Designated parking spot. Convenient location- you can walk to both the King's Mall & Queens mall. The Queen's mall has a nice grocery store with deli counter & prepared foods even a Starbucks in mall. The Kings mall has a few restaurants. Due to Covid the malls have a few empty storefronts. The ABay beach is closeby & Lava Lava Beach club is a nice spot for lunch, drinks or dinner as it sits on the beach. Go early as the wait can be over hour long.
