Place was nice, On the golf course but close to the beach. My only complaint was that the gate code we were given was incorrect, the showers had some mold that needed to be cleaned, and the furnature was a little dated. But all in all, I would recommend.

We stayed in Villa One for the second time, this time for four weeks in June and July 2026. Everything was as good as we remembered it from three years ago.The two matching bedrooms with en suite baths were greatly appreciated by both couples staying in the unit. The living area and kitchen were both well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay including a separate wet bar. The large lanai facing the golf course was a highlight, allowing us to enjoy ocean views and spectacular sunsets every day. The. community where the villa is located has a beautiful pool and well equipped gym and other amenities. The Villa is an easy walk from shopping and dining in Waikoloa and the beach. Our host Richard was extremely helpful in providing us information about the house and the surrounding area.We hope to return to Waikoloa and certainly want to stay at Villa One again.

I have been to the Big Island numerous times and I love it. The condo was in a very good location to shopping, the beach and resort activities. Renting the condo was easy and painless. My only issue was the condo was not very clean. The carpet was stained and dirty, the walls were dirty with food splatter by the trash cans, tile grout not clean, layers of hairspray residue on the toilet seats, outdoor rugs in really bad shape, etc., etc. I have stayed in a lot of rentals and this was one of the dirtiest places I have ever been in. I understand it is a rental but more TLC and a deeper clean would work wonders.

The property was very well provisioned and had excellent air conditioning. The air conditioning can be controlled either by temperature of humidity. If you set the humidity to an unreasonably low level (30%), it will get very cold because it will stay on all the time.The beds were good and access to the Waikoloa Resort was a big plus. Being on the 3rd floor and on the end helped it to be very quite. Much better value than a hotel room. It felt like a regular house.

Nice place in a very nice part of the island. I would recommend the property management company to actually address the lizard/gecko issue along with the bugs that manage to enter the residence through the crevices in the windows and doors.

We have been fortunate enough to have visited the Big Island several times but this condo far surpassed any of the other locations/units we have stayed in. From the view, to the unit floor plan and amenities to the management staff, this property was amazing. If we are ever able to visit the Big Island again, we will be staying at this condo!

The condo was spacious and clean, although the furnishings are definitely worn and the decor could be updated. The beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels and cooler were so useful! The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of towels and kitchen items. The new bathroom was beautiful but the shower shampoo, etc bottle pumps did not work, so could use replacement. The lanai was nice, although the furniture was worn and uncomfortable and the balcony actually looks over the parking lot and trash area. The surrounding areas are lava fields, so don’t expect lush greenery around the developed area. There were shopping areas close by for food and coffee, since there was no coffee supplied in the condo. All in all it was worth the price, but could use some improvements.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Waikaloa Shores unit. Leading up to our stay the communication with the host was great. Upon arrival the check-in instructions were perfectly clear and the unit was very clean. The condo had all the amenities we needed for the week. We loved the Waikaloa area as a base to explore the entire Big Island. Once done exploring for the day, we found it a very short walk to the beach to catch the amazing sunsets. I would highly recommend this unit and I will definitely search for this unit again should we return to the Big Island.

Everything was nearly perfect!! Just 3 minor things: indicate exactly where at Hilton Waikoloa we need to go for wrist bands - we had to ask the concierge there..... in our case, we never did get the bands, too busy with other events!!! But the parking validation needs to be done with the bell captain. Lastly, we did not know this unit was at the back of Shores at Waikoloa, which added quite a bit of walking distance to the Hilton, King's Shops, etc..... not a big deal but we ended up driving out more often than I had hoped.

Very nice facility. Pool & fitness room very nice. First frustration was when we first arrived we found out there was no parking for our unit because the owner left his car in the 1 and only space for that unit. Spent a week dragging suitcases etc. 1/2 block from visitor parking. When we opened the door the first thing I noticed was large stains in the carpet throughout the unit. The unit was probably 1st class 15 years ago but it just hadn’t been kept up. We still loved the size and layout . Would stay there again but in a different unit.

This is one of the nicest VRBO stays we’ve had and hope to return. Beautiful, clean condo in perfect condition, great location.Luxurious bathrooms and showers. We enjoyed visiting the nearby Hilton Waikoloa and beaches. From the top floor deck you can view sunsets and Mauna Kea in the distance, while also enjoying the wild birds in the parrot family fly between palm trees. Beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel equipment etc. available for guests.Great communication with the management company.

First, our host, Lin Tottle, was awesome. We had a communication glitch (not Lin's fault) and we didn't have the correct gate code or info on how to get into the condo. I texted Lin about our difficulties and she replied almost immediately. The condo was spacious and nicely furnished and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The outdoor sitting area was spacious and has comfortable chairs and a nice table. The bathroom was spacious with double sinks and the shower was wonderful. My wife and I had a wonderful time and highly recommend this unit.

The pictures showed one on the patio and the description said there was one but we could not find it anywhere. Overall the property was amazing and perfect for our family vacation.

The property was as advertised, beautiful sunsets with a partial ocean view, spacious interior, wonderful lanai sitting areas, in a quiet community. The kitchen is generously supplied with dishes, silverware, cookware, and a cabinet full of oils and spices for our use. The host not only has clear communication about the use of the villa but also let us know about the eruption of Kiluea and how to watch it on YouTube. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to rent it in the future.

Wonderful and spacious place. Well stocked kitchen. Lawn chairs/umbrella/boogie boards included with place. Ten minute walk from King's and Queen's. Corner unit - with large wrap around lanai. Friendly and helpful owner who communicated and checked in frequently - offered local suggestions. Cost of AC not included in daily rental and can be added for a daily fee. Suggest getting it spring/summer months since it was humid at night. All around - will stay again if visiting in the future.

This is a lovely condo. It is walking distance from the pool, fitness center, and ocean. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Overall good experience therefore stayed at better units before At day of checkout at 10:30 cleaning ladies open front door without knocking while me standing in my underwear. That is really spoiled experience. We checked out at 11:05 and felt that we were pushed out of unit. Cleaning ladies saying that they have early checkout and need to clean.
