The property management was very responsive and professsional and accommodated our request for a slightly early check in which was great. The check in process was smooth and efficient. The unit was very clean and looks just like the listing photos. The unit is a little dated but everything was clean and comfortable and the bedding was nice. The views of the sunrises and sunsets from the lanai exceeded expectations. The unit was well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay and our kids really enjoyed having access to the Hilton’s pools and lagoon. Would definitely stay here again, so much more comfortable and convenient than a hotel.Only negative is that we had some issues with the AC not working right for a couple days of our stay. However, the property management sent someone out promptly to fix the HVAC unit and overall they were very communicative and responsive.

This property was just perfect. It was stocked with just about everything…..paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, toiletries, spices, oils and awesome beach gear! The owner Richard was the best VRBO host we have ever rented from. Would definitely stay here again! Great location and gorgeous surroundings. Beds were so comfortable and we loved that the master suites were separated for privacy from our teenager.

This was likely the nicest VRBO in which we've ever stayed. The property was immaculate and exactly as described in the listing. Martin & Rachelle were great hosts and provided lots of tips on dining, shopping, and things to do. There was a gift basket upon our arrival with beers, chocolates, and chips! Everything in the property was well organized with labels and the beach chairs/towels were a nice perk. There were a few check out duties, but that is pretty typical with most VRBO's. We would strongly recommend!

This was our second stay at this condo and we loved it just as much as the first time. The condo was very clean and well-stocked. Like last time, we were welcomed with a bowl of fresh fruit!We were also delighted with all the recent updates including new countertops, floor, sleeper-sofa and TV.Great location, near King's/Queen's and A-bay. This property was even better than advertised. Spacious, clean and well-appointed. We loved the beach toys, chairs, snorkel gear, etc. The air conditioning was nice to cool off after long days in the sun- great location for day trips to other parts of the island.

This spacious one bedroom pad offers everything you need for a comfy stay in Waikoloa. The kitchen has all the essentials, including a washer and dryer. We slept well and enjoyed our morning coffee on the wrap around lanai with a great view of Mauna Loa. Just a short walk to the pool and jacuzzi. A two minute drive to the King’s and Queen’s shopping center. Loved it.

This place was awesome! We felt so fortunate to stay in this place because it was beautiful. It was well maintained and the stickers were found in some places were good reminders how to use things. This place was also well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bedroom and bathrooms had enough towels and linens. The bed! It was firm which my back really appreciated. There were a lot of beach and pool things that were got to enjoy. They even had a cart to take to go to to the beach. The pool we enjoyed it very much. Lanai was a nice place to stay but had enough privacy. Location was great. It was near 2 plazas and just a drive to beautiful beaches and food. Martin was a great host. Definitely recommend to this place. Would love to come back.

We really enjoyed our stay here and found everything to be as represented in the listing. Nice location within the condominium complex, with ocean view in the distance from the balcony, and to the east a lovely landward view. Easy walking distance to Anaehoomalu Bay for swimming! My teen son, tween daughter and I spent seven days at this home at Shores at Waikaloa. The location was easy to access and very quiet. We opted for this property over a hotel because my son wanted some degree of separation which it definitely provides.Everything worked well — Door locks, HVAC, laundry, shower, coffee maker, DW. The bed was comfortable the towels were soft. The property had nearly everything we needed except for Kleenix and Qtips, but seriously everything else. There was a water filter in the fridge and fresh ice in the freezer. I really appreciated all the labels for the towels, sheets, laundry — so many of my questions were answered by having these little touches. There was also a thoughtful Welcome Gift with a great map of the local beaches. I felt like a lot of thought and care went into providing the best possible home away from home. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we’d gladly go back!

Great place,have stayed at this condo a few times, different units. That each have a unique feel to them. I love the location to the beach and watching the sunrise on the lanai. Very clean and comfortable. Would have been nice if there were extra blankets on the couch, since it gets cool with the air on.well stocked with tp, paper towels, soap. Bring extra shampoo, since they have only small bottles. Also, no condiments at all. Other places have had them. So if you plan on cooking, buy seasonings. Soy sauce, rice etc.

Very spacious townhome in a perfect location. Wonderful lanai for sunsets and sunrises, home office setup worked out perfect for teleworking during vacation. Walking distance to food shopping and Hilton Grand. This place had it all! Big kitchen and grill area came in handy for a few family dinner nights and the bathrooms are large and very posh. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again.

Had a great time visiting this part of the Island and watching our son participate in the half Ironman. The condo had everything we needed for our short stay, and we were rarely inside to take advantage of amenities.The only initial confusion was our assumption that the second bedroom was also a king bed based on photos. The owner’ son was great at communicating and helping with any issues even while out of the country. This is a great condo for families with children!

The house is beautiful in a great community. We didn't use all the amenities that went with it. The beach club a couple of times and the workout room. There are so many good beaches close by that we used the beach chairs provided and went and hiked to other beaches. We traveled from there to historic sites and foodie places. Pros: Spacious unit, updated baths, large terrace with beautiful trees and birds surrounding it. Good price. Comfy bed. Responsive manager. Cons: Decor lacked any Hawaiian influences. It was quite boring compared to the other properties we stayed at on our 4 week trip. Basically no decor. Dishes were mismatched. Definitely felt like a rental - not a place an owner would stay at. We stayed 7 days and the A/C only worked for 3 of those days. It was difficult to get a cross breeze so it was very warm and difficult to sleep at night with the heat. We would have left had we known it wouldn't get fixed but each day it seemed it would get fixed but then parts were not available or the repair person couldn't come. I understand that these things can happen unexpectedly. We were given a one night refund which I appreciated but expected more as that did not make up for the discomfort and inconvenience.

Another good stay at this property. Made good use of the beach chairs and umbrella for day trips to Hapuna and Mauumae beaches. We find “The Shores” to be the best location within the Waikoloa Beach Resort area. A manageable walk to most everything. … A-Bay, Hilton, Marriot, Kings Shops etc. Lorena’s property is comfortable and well stocked. Probably time to replace the cushions on the lanai dining chairs but other than that no complaints.

First of all, we loved the area! It was so peaceful. Easy walk to grocery and shops and also just about a 15 minute walk to the beach. Great restaurants in the area The condo itself could not have been nicer It was clean and better stocked than any condo. We have stayed in in the last 25 years. The fresh fruit left for us was above and beyond.We will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Hawaii

The condo itself is quite nice. The space is good, the beds are decent, the bathrooms are really good-sized, and we enjoyed the lanai. Issues that were less than desirable were that this condo offered little by way of accessories. We have stayed in Hawaii three times now and this is the first time we have encountered a condo that only provided cheap, thin beach towels. Granted, it was not listed that more was offered, we have just always found more. Our other stays included tennis rackets/balls, beach chairs, an umbrella, towels, etc. This is not a star against them, just something worth noting. Our one large disappointment was that this condo offered AC and our Ac was out for 48 hours. We contacted the facility and were told, "we'll contact our maintenance guy, but he might not want to come out on a Sunday." That is poor service. Essentially we went 48 hours in a condo that is not designed to create any kind of cross-breeze, so we were pretty miserable for two nights of sleep. My husband contacted them the day we left because the original gal he spoke to said she'd look into compensating us (she never go back with us). The final conversation my husband was told "we don't usually do this, but we'll comp you 10% for your trouble." My husband was grateful and felt we'd received a good response. However, the compensation was 10% of one night's stay. We have received much better service and response times for issues other places.
