Beautiful location right in the heart of the beach area. HUGE lanai for relaxing and watching the beautiful sunrise. Large community pool with two hot tubs. Plenty of space for a family of 4 (though we didn't know you could pull apart the King bed in the second room so each of our kids could sleep on their own bed). Super quiet and lovely. Will pick Vista Waikoloa whenever I have the opportunity going forward.

Very nice place and location. The condo was fully stocked with anything needed (one of the best stocked VRBO condos we've stayed at). Communication with the owner was very good and very quick to respond. We had issues with the AC working for one of our nights (very hot during our first night as AC wasn't working), but owner was able to get fixed the next day. Overall the place was clean, however, floors were dirty, the bottom of our feet were black after walking around the place during our first day.

We highly enjoyed our stay at Wai Aloha! It was a quick 10 min walk to A-bay, so nice for sunsets. While the live music was a wonderful welcome at Lava Lava Beach Club, we mostly enjoyed the path around the fishponds (at sunset), and also the coastal foot trail along the water that continues forever in both directions. Having the Queens and Kings Shops nearby was a huge convenience, made for easy dinner plans each night. We also enjoyed running/walking each morning on the winding sidewalks through the entire resort area, as well as the Kings Highway Foot Trail with petroglyph fields - very unique. It is a beautiful area that is well manicured, and everything you need right there!
The condo itself was super comfortable, beautifully decorated (artwork and woods), and well appointed with dishes/appliances, seasonings/spices/condiments, extra personal care items, local books on Hawaii, loads of gear for a day at the beach, etc. We had everything we needed! The king bed was wonderfully comfortable, as were the luxury sheets. The views from the lanais were great, and you don't look directly at anyone else.
Aside from all that, the owner is responsive and very kind, always considerate of your needs/requests. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to soak up a bit more 'Hawaii' on our last day! Thank you so much, and for sharing your beautiful place with us, these memories will stay with us forever!

My family enjoyed the best time here. The condo, located in a prime area, is beautiful, comfortable, well appointed, and spacious. Views from the two expansive lanais are amazing. Great memories were made early each morning when my family would gather on the lanai to sip coffee and enjoy the stunning sunrise over Mauna Kea.
Communication with the owners was excellent. We'll be back next year!

First trip the the Big Island for the family. Really enjoyed the stay. The condo was nicely decorated and furnished and also has some great artwork. The location is perfect with a short walk or drive to shops, restaurants, and Anaehoomalu Bay AKA "A bay". The condo is well equipped with for those that like to cook. There are beach chairs, towels, umbrellas and boogie boards. The view from the deck is spectacular! I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

I can’t say enough positive things about this condo rental. It is spacious and well laid out and was perfect for our family of four including two teenage kids. The decor is perfect for the location, you truely feel like you’re in a Hawaiian getaway, and not just someone’s house.The kitchen was well stocked with all one could need from dishes, silverware, pots/pans and cooking utensils plus a well stocked pantry, which we took advantage of for several meals. There was an ample supply of towels for use at both the beach and the pool, and the supply of beach gear for use was great. Check in/out procedures were very detailed and well communicated. The location within the Waikaloa Beach is perfect for a relaxing vacation, with enough close by amenities for anything you might need. We would definitely look to rent this condo again if our travels ever take us back to the Big Island.

This is a lovely place with high-end finishes. We have stayed in multiple units in Vista Waikaloa and this was one of the nicest. Pros: Host availability, fantastic shower, beautiful well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, great lanai, fantastic location, and everything you could want for a great beach vacation. A few minor cons compared to other units we’ve stayed in: road noise, AC locked at 76, and some extra chores at check-out. Just some feedback for the owners! Thanks for a lovely stay!

My husband and two daughters loved spending 5 nights in this beautiful condo. It is such a short walk to so many things. The beach, Lava Lava Club, shops, restaurants, etc. We had the best time and enjoyed our nights being able to stay in and cook dinner in the beautiful, well stocked kitchen (always grateful for leftover containers!). Megan is a good host.She replied promptly to all our queries that we had before booking the property.
The condo is beautifully decorated and has an excellent view from the lanai.The kitchen was well stocked.There were also provisions for the beachgoers.
However, the noise from the grass mowers starting from 6.30am
(The quiet hours are 10pm-8am)may be slightly disturbing for light sleepers in the Master Bedroom.

We were lucky enough to spend one month in this beautiful condo and we loved every moment of it! It didn't take long before it felt like a home away from home. Everything from the layout of the condo, the comfort of the furnishings, the appliances and supplies to the swim toys and towels were perfect. Having spent time in Puako before, we found that this location is exactly what we were looking for. Most of our time "at home" was spent on the beautiful lanai, either watching the sunrise or relaxing in the evening. We did our early morning walks on the many trails around the area. The beach was super easy to get to and we visited the stores and restaurants within walking distance. The pool is beautiful and the lounging chairs comfortable.
Our family is so happy we found this place and can't wait to return! Mahalo!

We had a great time at this property- it was fully stocked and in great condition (special touches like high quality towels, etc). We especially enjoyed the lanai. It is next to a bigger road but it really didn't bother us at all. We ate our meals out there, hung out, and even star gazed. It's about a 10 minute walk to a great beach including snorkeling.

The most beautiful condo in the most beautiful part of the world with the most amazing hosts (also the owners) that a family of five could’ve asked for. Hands down the most wonderful rental we have ever stayed at. There wasn’t a detail forgotten, from the beach supplies, to the first aid drawer, to the coziest of beds, linens, and towels, to the full stocked kitchen, to the glorious art and decor. Allen and Megan are amazing owners/ hosts and you can tell they love their condo as much as they love sharing it with others. You would’ve never have guessed this condo was EVER an active rental because it is pristine and clean as a whistle! We will be back if we don’t buy a unit ourselves in this awesome complex! We enjoyed our stay in this large, beautiful, well-provisioned and comfortable condo in a lovely golf course community. The outdoor lanai space was particularly relaxing. We took advantage of the home's scuba gear and beach chairs, and also used the community pool, hot tub and grill. Owners offered lots of advice on things to do and great communication. Only downside was noise from the adjacent road which was closer and busier than expected.

This rental is clearly not just a rental. The owners are gracious enough to share their piece of paradise with others. The unit is tastefully decorated with smart TV included. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, supplies and condiments. Washer and dryer are updated. Grounds are beautiful. Pool was perfect for grandkids (we were here in two separate units). We have stayed at the Vistas for many years, they are in a great location, a little older but more spacious and higher quality than newer condos. The grounds are mature and beautiful. This is definitively one of the nicest and best kept condos we have rented and the owners are on top of everything and very helpful! It does not feel like a rental, it feels like HOME. There is EVERYTHING you need in the kitchen cabinets! You have coffee beans and butter and eggs in the fridge when you arrive. The towels and sheets are high quality and the place has been tastefully renovated. Beautiful view of Mauna Kea from the very spacious Lanai. The Vistas are close to the road, but it is a quiet road. We will be back

The location, view, and setting of this condo fit our needs perfectly. There is a beach nearby to walk to and many more interesting beaches just a short drive away. The condo is nicely furnished and the wrap around deck has great views. We went as a family of five. The condo is spacious so we all had plenty of room. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook and serve a nice meal.
We had trouble with the tv and internet when we first got there, but a contact to Megan, the owner, and we got that straightened out quickly. We would recommend this condo for a vacation in Waikoloa.

We stayed here for the 70.3 race on the island recently, and this home was such a retreat among all the chaos that goes into planning, prepping and then decompressing from a race. The location to stores and restaurants is great. It’s tucked away, but also right near the highway. One of the highlights was coffee in the morning and wine in the evening on the terrace. Our friends actually ended up staying with us last minute the second half of the stay and they noted how much better this home was compared to where they were previously staying. We also had bikes and a lot of gear with us, so the elevator (which not all condos have) was key. My parents are looking to retire to Hawaii, and I think I know just the place for them to consider! No complaints. A wonderful retreat!

Firstly, Megan was prompt and helpful with all communications (both before and after booking the condo) and ensured we had a seamless planning process. She had organized for someone to meet us on the first day and ensure we had everything that we needed. There is an elevator to the second floor for those who need it. The spaciousness, cleanliness and the nice upgrades to the condo were immediately felt and appreciated. The condo had all of the amenities, kitchenware and more that you hope for to enjoy a stay. We loved waking up and having our breakfast on the wrap-around lanai at sunrise. The property was quiet yet just a stone's throw away from a number of amenities. It's location was very central to the priorities of our trip and convenient from the airport and other parts of the island. We had our two pre-teen daughters with us and they both loved it. We enjoyed the large pool (~25m length so I was able to do my normal swim routine in the mornings) and I appreciated the fitness area. Lastly, this was the first place I've stayed at where the rain shower head actually has enough water pressure to be effective (and it is accompanied by a regular handheld shower head as well)......fantastic! We had a great trip and this condo was certainly a big part of it!

We loved this place and are already booked for next year! As previous reviews have noted, the recent renovations are first rate and make this place special. We've been coming to Vista Waikoloa for extended stays for 8 years and we were "bowled over" with these renovations. The new kitchen cabinets have been reconfigured to provide much more storage than the original cabinetry and the trash/garbage is all behind closed doors. Since we're on the 2nd floor, we can leave all the windows and sliders open 24/7 and never had to turn on the air conditioner for 2 months.
The bathrooms look like something out of a magazine, the bed is super comfortable, and the condo is exceptionally well-stocked. The flat screen TV has a sound bar, which makes it much easier to hear. The artwork throughout the condo is amazing, highlighted by a huge Darrell Hill in the dining room with a custom frame made by the owner. The free form bar separating the kitchen from the dining room is also a work of art.
Megan and Allen were delightful to work with and always responsive. We can't wait to come back!

We booked to stay here only two weeks before our first visit to the Big Island. What an amazing place! Open and airy, with a huge deck and spectacular view! The condo had been recently renovated. The kitchen was great. The pantry had essentials for us to use and more pots and pans than we knew what to do with! The master bath felt like a spa and the rain shower head was heaven! Megan even set up a Christmas tree for us, as we stayed the week before Christmas. This condo is within walking distance of the beach, shops and the large resorts. Megan was so kind, knowing it was our first trip to the island, took time to write out what we should see and do, suggest beaches and restaurants. Our favorite beach was 69 Beach! We could snorkel right from the beach, the water was so calm and the beach was great for our family, as it provided both sun and shade! Our favorite restaurant (which Megan suggested) was the Fish and the Hog in Waimea. It was so good, we ate there twice!! Make sure to take in the multiple farmer's markets! We were the first to stay in this freshly remodeled condo. The remodel is well done and in very good taste. The condo is open and airy and is very nicely decorated and it is spacious and comfortable. The location is great with views of the golf course, both Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa from the lanai, and even a glimpse of A Bay. Stores, shops, entertainment, food, and the beach at A Bay are just a short stroll away. The Hilton across the street is not to be missed. There is a nice pool and spa we enjoyed on the property. This part of the Island is usually nice weather and we enjoyed 12 days without rain while it rained several days in other areas of the Island. Occasionally, the wind was a little troublesome but for the most part was welcomed to cool us off. The water falls and volcano near Hilo are a nice drive both along the coast and through the saddle between Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. The view at the visitor's center on Mauna Kea is close by and worthy of a visit. There were four adults at the condo and we all four highly recommend this property.

This was my second stay at Vista over the last three years. The location of F building was excellent, close to Kings, A-Bay and the morning sunrises could not be beat. Spacious and well equipped unit met all of our needs. Good communication with owner and property manger. Large Fruit Basket delivery was an unexpected treat. Will stay in this unit again.

We loved staying in this condo. Spacious, 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, complete kitchen. Everything is set up to just move in and relax. The condo complex has an amazing, heated, saline pool that is wonderful to swim in and has 2 hot tubs for the cooler, rainier days. Being able to shop at the farmer's markets and fix our own food was great. We don't like the resort experience and staying here is perfect! It is a moderate walk to the beach (15 mins) and close driving distance to other beaches. The shops close by make it even more convenient. We took several day trips from here to Hilo and and the Captain Cook area. Loved every minute of it. There is some road noise in this unit, which is not a huge problem but one of our party is a light sleeper and we like to keep the windows open for the fresh breezes. However, there was a floor-standing fan in the unit and we solved the issue by running that in her room at night. Highly recommend this place and we would definitely come back!

A very nice stay. The condo was spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Plenty of sleeping arrangements for 6 people. It was super accessible to local shops and the 'A' bay beach. It was a great location to go north or south for other beaches (make sure you rent a car, you won't go far on the big island without one). The condo was well stocked with dishes, towels, beach toys, boogie board etc.
Megan was great to work with, as well as her island contact Danielle. Both were super responsive and helpful. We vacationed over christmas, and Danielle was available even on Christmas and Christmas Eve to answer any questions. Great customer service. Would recommend to anyone.
