Overall, this is a great property. Would definitely come back with a smaller group - 9 felt like too many for the house.There are a few things that should definitely be updated soon in the home. The refrigerator/freezer and microwave both work- but not great…hard for a larger party. We needed to buy multiple bags of ice every day to keep up with our group of 9 staying there. We had a small rodent issue while we were there - they said from previous guests leaving the doors open. Our food was nibbled on each night but when we told them, they came right away and set traps in the kitchen. Property manager was super responsive - great customer service. The location of the property is the best in this complex, so close to the pool/gym. The house is well equipped with items for the beach. The private beach club was great…we went at least 4 times. The Hilton passes were fun to use one day. House and complex felt very safe and clean.

Easy access to the beach and scenic walks on the Mauna lani property. Awesome place to spend our vacation for 10 (8 adults and 2 children)! Spacious and well appointed - no details overlooked. Plenty of child appropriate things to do and fun toys/equipment for the beach and ocean activities. The property management company was also very communicative and friendly to deal with. It was great staying at this property. Everything was great except one thing, the check out time was 10 am which was little early. I requested extension considering the little kids and they need more time to get ready, but the management team did not give us any extension. However, it is great property and we had a nice family time.

Beautiful well maintained property in a great location. The Mauna Lani beach and Hilton pool access was well appreciated by all. This was our third condo rental in the Waikoloa area and the best one yet. Property management team was wonderful to work with. Smooth booking, check in and check out process. Next visit to the Big Island, we'll be sure to check to see if this property is available.

The Kamilo properties are especially fantastic for families - the pool beach access are phenomenal, and the property is situated close to a lot of helpful amenities (Foodlands grocery store, and more). We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

I was there with my three adult children, their spouses and three grandchildren aged 20 months, 5 y, and 7y. The house was clean and we were all comfortable during our stay. It was really nice having the dining table that fit all of us around it. There were plenty of beach towels and chairs, coolers etc. for use. It was nice having access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club's Lagoon. It was close by and perfect for the kids. The property manager was responsive to our questions and needs. Overall, it was a great experience. I would return for another visit.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. Our only recommendation would be to provide more seating to accommodate a home that sleeps 10.While dining/eating was very adequate, relaxing, visiting, watching TV together was a little tough. Perhaps an L shape on the Lani would help. Other than that it was a lovely well appointed home. Thank you for your hospitality.

Private beach was beautiful with great bar and grill. Beautiful hikes in the neighborhood. Lanai was perfect. Great table for 8. Grill worked beautifully. Only problem was in kitchen- faucet stuck on sprayer and garbage disposal required use of a wine cork to turn off. Proximity to golf and Fairmont and Starbucks appreciated. Rooms were perfect, beds comfortable and living space perfect. Appreciated the use of large garage for one vehicle. The vibe of the unit was so chill- easy to relax. Would definitely stay here again!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our family of three generations, stayed together, and enjoyed all the amenities of the house, and Mauna Lani. The house was very clean, instructions were clear, well appointed, close to the pool, and a quick drive to the Mauna Lani beach. Beach gear and kitchen appliances were well stocked and very much appreciated. Can’t wait to book again!

The house was perfectly fine. It was clean, spacious, and in a good neighborhood. And management was responsive to our issues. But the hot tub was warm, never hot. I suspect the owner is particular about their heating bill. Even the pool wasn't heated, despite being advertised as having a "heated pool". It costs up to another 80 a day to heat the pool, if you want it heated. There seems to be an overall reluctance from the owner to heat the pool and hot tub. Maybe this is typical, I am unsure. And if items like this do not bother you, then this house works. That was my main issue. I don't intend to be petty about it, but I do think people should know this fact before booking.

I could not have asked for a better property to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday with our family! Everyone audibly gasped when they walked into the house for the first time. The grand living space is so beautiful and made group breakfasts and dinners a breeze. You enter the house on the second level where the living room, kitchen, dining room, powder room, balcony with outdoor dining and bbq, and finally the second room with an en suite. The other three bedrooms are located downstairs. Each room was spacious and beautifully decorated. All 8 adults were comfortable in their respective rooms. The larger resort community is incredible. The beach club was perfect for a beach day and we spent two days just doing that. There is a black sand beach on the resort that is a must see! There is a grocery store walking distance from the house with everything you could need for your stay. The gated community that the house is in was also amazing. We loved the pool and jacuzzi facility. We would 100% stay here again if we find ourselves on the Big Island.

Attached are photos of the sheets of the master bed and bedroom on the lower floor. FILTHY - STAINS FROM PRIOR GUESTS. We had to wash the sheets before using those beds......DISGUSTING!!!! This tainted our entire stay. Property manager acknowledged the problem, but didn't seem to really care. The unit needs refreshing, but is in a great location and could be outstanding. Pool had a sweeper in it that should have been removed before guests arrived and my request to remove it myself was granted, but was told the pool guy would not be happy. That might be fine if the pool guy was paying for our lodging. No remote provided for garage so if you want to use it you need to park, enter garage, open and then park. Not ideal and first unit we have rented for our annual visit to the Big Island that did not provide a remote.

The host allowed us to check in a little earlier than scheduled, which we were grateful. The rental was just as pictured. There were seven adults so it was perfect. There is one thing that we all thought was a negative, and that was there were not enough towel bars in the bathrooms. There were only one towel bar in each bathroom, so one of each couple had to hang their towel over a suitcase or something else. One other thing (and I remember seeing another review mentioning the same thing) and that was that you were unable to see some of the golf course because of the big bush/tree blocks the view. Otherwise it was a great stay, location is great!
