Perfect place for a large family gathering. We had a group of 10 adults, and there were beds for everyone as well as plenty of space for people to spread out. The pool complex was really nice and just a few minutes walk away. The private beach is beautiful but it is a bit difficult to get a large group there as there is only one pass for the parking lot.

Great house with a lot of room! Clean and well supplied. Once we got the complex figured out,it was easy to get around.Enjoyed the bikes but cannot take them to the beach. There is no where to leave them. We didn’t like the fact we couldn’t turn the thermostat down below 72. This was adequate for the bottom half of house but not on top.

Everything was wonderful. The only problem was the barbecue grill was not working properly. When we close the lid, it made a loud explosion. So we weren’t able to use it after the very first night. I reported it to maintenance on the last day.

Our stay was wonderful! The host was extremely kind, responsive, and accessible, which made the entire experience seamless. The property was beautiful—clean, well-maintained, and perfectly located on a private beach with shopping close by. We also appreciated having access to the golf cart, which made trips to the beach and shops so much easier. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! We hope to come back!!

Property was as good as advertised. Everything we needed was present on the property, which enhanced our stay. Property was clean and well maintained. My expectations were exceeded by this exceptional property, and I would definitely rent again. We had everything we needed for an amazing vacation. From the well appointed kitchen to the look and feel of the decor, we were treated to a stay that was luxurious with the comfort of home. The outdoor lanais offered spectacular views at sunrise and all throughout the day of the adjacent golf course. We took joy in watching the golfers (some good, others less so!) and the periodic families of goats roaming through that would help “cut” the grass. The availability of beach equipment, bikes, and towels meant we had nothing to worry about but to load up the car for our adventures. The community pool was a 5 minute walk away and was clean, spacious, and fun for the entire family. The workout facility in the community area was also a nice perk and had ample space and equipment. It was clear that many guests and residents used both the pool and workout facility, and both were well maintained.The property management company was extremely communicative and very responsive to any requests we had of them. They sent clear and detailed check-in information well in advance of our trip and texted to confirm we had all of the necessary details.Within a 5 minute drive was a local grocery store that served our needs well, and within a 15 minute drive was the Waikoloa Beach Resort area with additional grocery options, shopping, and dining.

We have been staying in the Mauna Lani Area for over 10 years. We have stayed in the Kamilo and villages neighborhoods. This property was a fantastic selection based on the house and all of the amenities..We have stayed at most of the rentals in the area and this house was by far the cleanest and most organized. We enjoyed every moment staying in this house.We would highly recommend this property.

We stayed 5 nights and having a condo was great. Did not expect having a private pool in the backyard would be that great since there’s another pool for everyone just steps away. But we spent. Lot of time relaxing in the backyard.

This was our third stay at this lovely home in the Ka Milo complex of the Mauna Lani area.Our grandchildren have loved coming back to it year after year. Between the open space great room, balcony overlooking Mauna Kea, well appointed kitchen, spotless cleaning, access to pool and beaches at Mauna Lani and Fairmont it was a perfect location and home for a family holiday.Many thanks to Jeannie and the other owners for providing so many wonderful memories to our families.

Brought 3 adult kids and a grand baby for 16 days. The house was a great fit for us. It is spacious and well equipped in kitchen, chairs for going to beach. Pool was great and the deck facing north was perfect for us as it did not get too much sunsun.

This unit in KaMilo is well located close to the central pool. Communication with the property management company was excellent. They were very professional and always available. The house has so much potential, but you can tell that the owners will not put any money into the house. The furniture, mattresses, TV’s, linens, towels, water toys, chairs, hot tub coating, (you name it) etc…. are all way past their useful lives. In short, I’d say excellent potential, but we would never rent this unit again due to the conditions on the interior.

Beautiful place… the photos are very accurate and we absolutely loved our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and the way the home is set up, you feel like you have the whole place to yourself. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and plenty of room for our two families. It was well appointed, clean and a wonderful location. I wish we had spent a little more time at the pool area in KaMilo. It was relaxing and very pretty and we didn’t get to it until the end of our trip. The Mauni Lani beach club was beautiful and there was great snorkeling. The Hilton was fine, but not really our scene, but I think with little kids, it would’ve been something we had gone to much more. Overall, a fantastic experience and we would definitely book again!!

House was very well maintained. The check-in/check-out process was easy. The host even sent a document in advanced with local Big Island highlights. There was a pack and play and high chair for my infant which were in good working order. Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels and beach items with the house. All the pool/beach passes included with the home were wonderful and kept my children entertained while I was at a nearby conference. I would definitely book again!!

We had a great stay at the Blue Lagoon Property. We had 2 families with kids under 5 and the grandparents. We loved the house layout with a casita for the grandparents, two rooms for the adults in the familes, a separate room for kids, and the closets were large enough to have pack-n-plays for infant sleeping. The kitchen was open to the dining room, the living room and there was a side cozy room for TV viewing (football in my family) so they didn't disrupt the rest of the family. The pool, porch with chairs and table were right outside the kitchen/living room so we could watch children from inside. The amenities were great. We took chairs to the beach and loved going to the community pool with little kids.

This home was laid out very well for a bigger family/extended family. There are two Master suits, two other bedrooms, one with two queens,One with one queen, extra bathrooms in the halls. Very large living and dining and deck areas. Amazing garbage and extended golf Cart, beach, body surfing, and snorkeling gear - lots of it!!! Access to excellent beaches ans restaurants and golf! Fabulous!

We stay in Mauna Lani every year for Thanksgiving and the location is incredible. There's plenty to do nearby, wonderful restaurants and beaches. This property itself needs a bit of a refresh. The main living room couch is stained and missing nearly all of its buttons, the outdoor furniture is all stained (we put towels down to sit on them) and the carpets are all stained. They also show photos of a golf cart in the garage and that is not included. The rate is a little on the medium/higher side so we were hoping for it to feel a little nicer. The property manager was easy to communicate with and the check in/out was super easy.

We couldn't have been happier with our stay. The house is spacious, open, and attractively decorated, with additional space for sitting outside. Somehow it felt very private even with a lot of other properties around it. And the proximity to the pool was accurately described -- very close. We did a couple of bike rides, including one to snorkel at 49 black sands beach. Loved our stay.

My family had such a wonderful time staying in this beautiful house. The location is convenient and the activities available through the rental property are fantastic. My children, 5 and 8 years old, took full advantage of the house pool and hot tub, as well as the community pool which was just a 5 minute walk away. We enjoyed the access to the private beach, Mauna Lani beach club and also made use of the complimentary Hilton Waikoloa resort. The house itself was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.

We had a great time in this house. Everything we needed for our group of mixed ages, including baby. We loved the pool and hot tub, and walked to the nice nearby gym and pool complex a few times. Layout was great, the separate ADU was nice to have as well for part of the group. Beaches nearby are fun to visit. We’d love to come back !!

This property was even better than the listing. Convenient location for our activities of choice (scuba diving and snorkelling) and lots of space for each family group to relax but also socialize and eat together. Wouldn't change a thing. Amazing rental.

We were in Hawaii to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our adult children. This unit was perfect for us. It was spacious and completely equipped. We especially appreciated things like the snorkel equipment and bikes. The unit is fairly close to the pool, and the amenities at the resort were awesome. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to the Big Island.

The house was absolutely beautiful. There was plenty of space in the house, and we really enjoyed the covered lanai and bbq. The pool was awesome and the grandkids couldn’t get enough of it. The Hilton pool pass was a great addition and we used it several days. The Mauna Lani beach club pass made it very easy to access the beach and we really enjoyed it. The hosts were very responsive to all of our questions. We would definitely stay there again.

It was the perfect location for our stay. The house offers more than enough space and was perfectly clean. The agency answered all our requests extremely quick and could help us with all issues (before as well as during our stay). It is only a short drive to Kona and there is a small footpath that connects the gated area with Ali'i drive.
We really enjoyed our stay and can recommand the house if you are travelling with a bigger group.
One and only potential: The kitchen area could offer a little bit more equipment such as cutlery, cups.

We had great time in big island staying in this house. It is spacious for our family which consists of 8 including children and elders. It has all the things you need and the owner is very thoughtful to have bikes and all things you need for a beach day. The amenities are fantastic which includes a private beach, pools and gym. Although it is a bit far from the center of Kona but the grocery store outside of the community is convenient to get most of the things you need. Highly recommended for large family!
