Our family of 7 including kids and grandkids just returned from our stay in this house at the Mauna Lani resort. It is well equipped, clean and very spacious. The manager Burt went out of his way to make sure we have everything we need. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing time on the Big Island.

Had a wonderful time. Kids enjoyed the walking trails, exploring. The amazing pool just across the street. It was a beautiful walk down to the Beach Club as well as the walk around the sea and lake.

This was an immaculate, well-provisioned villa. Our party of six was very comfortable. The kitchen was particularly well appointed with lots of high-quality cooking gear. The management company (Burt and Krish) were very responsive. It's in a gated community in the Mauna Lani development which has is a community club with 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, gym, and large barbeque cooking gazebo for gatherings. The grocery store is 1/2 mile away. The villa is very private and has a small backyard (no view per se). We loved our stay and hope to come back some time.

Nice well-equipped property close to lots of big island fun. Amazingly equipped for beach fun with snorkels and boogie boards for an entire family. Good kitchen and outdoor dining space. Only downside is that you need to drive to the beach.

Property was well equipped with bikes (6 adult, 2 kids), beach chairs, coolers, etc.
Snorkel gear was okay so we rented to get better functioning gear.
AC worked well and furniture/beds all comfortable.
Community pool easy walk but not heated. Gym used daily - solid.
Ceiling fan in master spins the wrong direction and we couldn’t find a way to reserve it, so limited cooling benefit. Others worked fine.
Lots of kitchen accessories and easy to cook meals.
No real complaints, enjoyed our stay.

We had a multigenerational group of 7. This home was perfect! The kitchen is well stocked (kitchenware and cooking staples), the rooms are spacious, the home location in the complex is convenient to the pool (lovely!), the area is walkable but we sure enjoyed the golf cart and e-bikes! The garage also comes stocked with beach gear - boogie boards, snorkle gear, beach chairs, etc. I would love to stay here again!

The layout of this unit is great. The furnishings are nice and a little bit better than other Mauna Lani units we've stayed at. The location of Mauna Lani is great, with access to the beach club, nice lil gym in Kamilo sub development, Food Land close by and it's a good jumping off point to head south to Kona, or up to Waimea. Property Management made check in easy and their app is good at answering questions about the unit (e.g. how to use TV, AC settings, etc..) Definitely recommend.

Ka Milo is a great complex, quiet with nice pool and hot tub, excellent access to Fairmont beach and access to Mauna Lani beach.
House is spotless beds are great, lots of space for kids to run and play. Owner very responsive and accommodating. Had our thanksgiving dinner here. Great kitchen!

Three generations, 9 of us, stayed at Kamuela for a week and we all agreed we would return in a heartbeat.
Property is as pictured. Well maintained with plenty of room for all. Loved the balcony for meals overlooking the golf course, the multiple bedroom patios, and the great room with spacious kitchen and dining room.
Community has two great pools, one adult and one family friendly. The golf cart provided was a blast for all and allowed easy access to the local shops and resort restaurants as well as the Mauna Lani Beach club. It’s an outstanding combo of amenities that enhanced our fun quotient!
Burt and Krish are superb communicators and made us feel both welcome and supported. Thanks for a terrific stay!

House and property exactly as described. A few minor maintenance issues needed ie safety alarm on one door and needing slightly clearer instructions on hot tub. House had everything you needed from kitchen with very well stocked dishes, cooking, serving and storing food. Hand mixer was the only appliance we didnt find.

Facilities were as described and then some! Beach card availability allowed us access many beaches and local resorts for added fun and enjoyment. Host was very gracious and quickly responded to very minor and minimal issues which did not affect our vacation whatsoever. Place was very clean and in impeccable condition. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed our stay at the property and the resort area. The small beach and recreation area were perfect for our two young grandchildren as well as for the adults who enjoyed the snorkeling and the gym.
The property was spacious for our group of eight, and very well stocked, including items for the youngest guest.
Mike was very prompt with dealing with any issues encountered at the property.
Would consider staying again depending on the size and age of our group.

Overall, we were very happy with the home. The unit had great access to the swimming pool and was in walking distance to the ocean and shops, etc. I liked the fact that you were close to the market, coffee shops, and other stores but that they were 1/2 mile away. The home was in good operating shape and was beautiful. The kitchen and indoor and outdoor dining areas perfectly accommodated our party of 11. The swimming pool gate was approximately 100 yards from our front door and there is a nice pavilion for use. Overall, it is a wonderful place and I would use it again when going back to the Big Island. The home could use a deep cleaning, baseboards and entryway to the home as well as the outdoor area near the laundry facilities. It is also time to replace the propane grill. Not a lot in the surrounding area for amenities but perfect for a nice, relaxing stay. Lots of restaurants and shopping about a 45 minute drive away. The pool was heated and the home was very private and quiet. We had some minor maintenance issues but were happy with the property managers resolution. Overall a great home and stay!

Loved this villa. It was perfect for 6 adults and 2 teenagers. The living room only has one couch but the teenagers did fine sleeping on the couch. Beds were comfortable! Location was great. You do have to drive to the beach. Beach club pass was nice to have.Pool was great. Communication with property managers was good.No extreme cleaning requirements on departure which was much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

My husband and I booked a 9-day stay at the Hokulei Cottage in KaMilo. Burt and Krish of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Island Lifestyle were extremely efficient and very welcoming. This property is stunning with a private backyard we used for several dinners. The kitchen was beautifully equipped, and the home was very clean. We intend to book another stay in the future and we would highly recommend the property and the excellent management team.

This place was perfect!!! It was big and roomy and had everything we needed for a family of 4.
It was soooo clean and comfortable. My teen boys loved having their own bedrooms and bathrooms. In the evenings after long day at the beach or site seeing it was nice to come home.to an air conditioned house..It was like home away from home. Before we checked in we went to Costco by the airport and stocked up on snacks and food. The house had all the cooking items and seasoning we needed son it was nice to enjoy some home cooked food which cleaved us from having to eat out every meal. The grill outside was clutch. We did enjoy some meals out. Our favorite place was Umekes fish market which was by far the best place we ate all week. They had the best Tuna Sashimi we’ve ever had!!!!
The house had all the beach necessities that we needed. Chairs, ice chest, towels, paddle board. The beach is about an 8 minute drive away and was a small private beach. Perfect for families with young children. My teens enjoyed it but preferred the other beaches with waves. Which were all about 15-20 Minute drive. But was allll worth it. The beaches off site are gorgeous. We went to Kua Beach for a couple days and enjoyed the crystal blue waters.

We stayed with four family couples and a 2 year old granddaughter. This is the best equipped, cleanest and well organized place we have ever stayed in. The Manager communication and assistance was exceptional. The property had absolutely everything you can imagine all in like new condition: highchair, crib, children’s utensils, baby monitor, every size of bike, helmet, locks, life jackets, masks, snorkels and fins, etc. etc. etc. kitchen supplies were amazing.

The private beach was excellent with great snorkeling. Garage had all the snorkel gear we needed. We highly recommend and would stay here again if/when we come back to the big island.

When we went to the Hilton for the dolphin experience, we were so happy we didn't stay there. Gorgeous...but way too many people. This home was quiet, relaxing, peaceful and made it easy to switch into the Aloha state of mind. Being close to the Mauna Lani Auberge was ideal. Great restaurants and less crowded. The local market was close and the most hospitable and had what we needed. So location was ideal, cleanliness perfect, well kept and managed. We will definitely be back and will stay there. Thanks again to Mike, we had a dream family vacation.

Great house in great location. Had everything needed for two families, 8 of us total. Just a couple of minute walk to pool and fitness facility. Grocery store is a few minutes drive down the road and multiple beaches are within 5 minutes or less by car. We most enjoyed the beach club and black sands beach just to the south. Some in the group played golf, courses are in immaculate condition. Kitchen was well equipped. We did Thanksgiving dinner and many other meals and all worked great. Great outdoor space, great indoor space, I would recommend this house.
