We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo which was exactly as described. The views of the golf course, the ocean, and the sunsets were stunning. We enjoyed the amenities of the resort including the historical sights, the trails, the beach, the pool, and the restaurants. The Mauna Lani Beach Club was easily accessed with plenty of chairs and a good restaurant and the snorkeling was great. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions.

I’m sitting on the lanai the last evening of our 11 day stay at this beautiful condo. The palms are gently swaying in the breeze, birds are chirping, and the ocean is calm and serene in the distance. The condo was everything we could have hoped for and more for our time at the Big Island. Everything is as depicted in the photos, and the condo itself was immaculate and the property grounds are tranquil and quiet- no loud parties here! There’s a Foodland grocery store 2 minutes away and a Snorkel Bob’s in the same shopping center.We had two minor issues, regarding the washer and dishwasher. Turned out the washer door has a loose hinge so the door needs to be slightest lifted before attempting to close it, and to start the dishwasher, you quickly press the start button- if you hold it too long, the cycle is cancelled. Both times I called about these, some was out within an hour to help out.The beach on the grounds is just lovely, with many loungers and covered cabanas to use. Just a 2 minute drive and we were there, with Napua restaurant just off the beach to get a meal if you like. We also visited Waialea Beach and Two Step Beach ( amazing snorkeling there!), but most days we were content at Mauna Lani- it was so convenient. The condo had plenty of beach towels and also had 4 chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler to use. (You won’t need these unless you go to other beaches though.)

Nice accommodation. Tidy, well stocked, host communication was excellent. This is a lovely community, where we have stayed before in a different unit. While overall we were pleased, the golf course view was a bit disappointing as the hedges are so high you cannot see the course while seated on the lanai or in the living room. The unit appeared clean, but the floors could be cleaner as our feet and socks told a different story. Not a huge deal but we were asked to remove our shoes so expected better. Again, a pleasant stay overall, thank you.

The views hit you as soon as you walk in the front door and the mirrored walls just continue the view....... This place is perfect for kids as you can walk out and there is a huge yard for running around. Plenty of supplies in bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen. I highly recommend this unit for families. The pool-hot tub and cook out area are also fabulous!

Great ground floor unit which was ideal for entertaining and watching sunsets. The unit has been updated and was clean, bright and felt very comfortable. The closet was stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. The location was great for exploring beaches and visiting nearby restaurants. We took long walks every morning to the beach, fish ponds and grabbed coffee at the Mauna Lani hotel. Great stay and would not hesitate to rent this unit again.

Superb location with nice views. The unit is spacious and accommodating. I was of the understanding there was a sleeper sofa in one of the bedrooms but there is not. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room. This wasn't a huge deal but did cause some reshuffling with our group as no one really wants to sleep in the main living space. We visited during the huge "Kona Low" storm so there was nothing on our planned itinerary we could still do. Propery manager was very responsive when I checked-in to inquire about the storm and what supplies the unit might have (if needed). Appreciated the dialogue.

This was probably our best stay in Hawaii, after many. We watched the sunrise over the mountain from the lanai, and the sunset from the pool area. The condo was roomy for two people. We loved the private beach. Fabulous stay.

Our review is mixed. We love visiting the Big Island and have rented for 22 years. Host communication was Excellent. Location was excellent. Home was very clean. Now for some construction feedback:Maintenance of home needs attention!Living room fan broken. When we reported the problem, we were told there were no plans to repair. Bedroom TV broken. Ice maker broken. Bed was old and soft. Cabinets need cushion closures or quiet hinges as they all slammed. LVT Flooring is buckling at some seams catching on chairs etc. Our stay was for 14 nights. Kitchen was sparsely equipped and pans are old and stained. There were minimal storage containers in kitchen. Silverware wooden holder was broken. Bathroom was sparsely equipped with thin 1” by 3” hand/body soap which lasted 1 day. We ended up having to purchase our own. No designated covered parking. There was a designated covered spot but there was a car parked there the entire time. We were Required to find an uncovered open space which sometimes was not available near our building. We hope our feedback is helpful and that this condo will get the maintenance it so badly needs as it is in a beautiful location. Mahalo.

This unit is beautiful and impeccably maintained. Quite quiet, too. The only thing missing was some device to play music on in the unit, even just a little Alexa. A memorable moment was looking south from the lanai and seeing the southern cross above Hualalai.

We spent a lovely week in Jason's condo at the Point. The recent renovations are very nice, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to cook while you are there, beach chairs, etc. are available, and the view across the thirteenth fairway is priceless. This is a beautiful and spacious condo with a stunning view of the grounds and the ocean. The furnishings are high quality, comfortable and inviting. The spacious bedrooms have comfortable beds and quality bedding. The kitchen is well appointed. There was a generous amount of snorkel gear, towels and beach chairs available to the guests. We enjoyed being close to the pool. We spent several lovely mornings at Mauna Lani Beach where we enjoyed great snorkeling.

This unit is in the wonderful Mauna Lani Point condo complex, which we’ve visited many times. Though it has no ocean view, it does have lovely and interesting views of a lagoon, golf course, and distant mountains. The furnishings are a bit old, but we found the place to be comfortable overall—except the large lanai, which could benefit from a regular table rather than a wooden high-top that’s seen better days. The condo was well equipped and was especially well stocked for beach outings, with beach chairs, snorkel equipment, umbrella, coolers, and more.Communications were less than wonderful. Before arriving, I read a review saying that the unit was not stocked with cleaning supplies or toiletries. As the reviewer noted, this is unusual at Mauna Lani Point. When I wrote to the host for clarification, I was told there would be enough supplies (dishwasher and laundry detergent) for the first day or two, but beyond that the host couldn’t guarantee it—noting I could go buy those items at Foodland. As it turned out, the unit was in fact well supplied; but the reply left a bad first impression. It was not a response you’d expect from a welcoming host concerned with the comfort and convenience of his guests. There were a couple of issues during our stay, including a serious lack of hot water, that also yielded curt responses, impacting our overall experience. 3.5 stars.
