The property owners have a lovely and comfortable property. One of the best equipped kitchens we have experienced. The lanai is the most secluded in the entire compound and most enjoyable for grilling and dining.

This 2 story condo in the Mani Lani Fairways is extremely well appointed and had the best supply of kitchen staples of any place. Having a grill on the lanai is very handy.The only downside was the lighting. The only place with adequate light for reading was in the kitchen – not the spot to curl up with a book.

This house is very high quality and comfortable. Everything you need for a great vacation. We only used the upstairs king and it was wonderful. The bed was just as good as home and the linens were so inviting. The bathroom was lux and the jetted bathtub was a surprise enjoyment. The pictures do not do the pool area justice: truly resort style. The hot tub was so nice! My only notes are that it was kept too hot. I bet it was 110 degrees. We have a hot tub at home so I’m pretty aware of their temperatures. I’d have it at 102 or so if I could have changed. They do not have instructions for using the beach club access card. I asked the customer service and they didn’t know. Their answer was something like, “this property doesn’t have beach access, sorry for the misunderstanding”. Well it does and here is how you use it: take the key card with you. Follow your GPS to Napau restaurant. When you turn right into the drive gate, use the key card to open the gate. Simple but without some guidance, you just don’t know.! I’ve been assured that instructions have been added to the unit’s guide book. Book it! Wonderful place! Close to Hapuna beach which was our favorite on the big island.

We had a great stay at this gem on the Big Island. Best location in Kona to stay and Payal and Anand are wonderful hosts. Communication was very easy and Payal and Anand were always very responsive. The condo was well equipped, the private beach is never a letdown and the convenience to other destinations is great. Lovely stay on the BI! This house has everything you need! It seemed like every time we needed something I was able to find it! The kitchen was amazing and everything we needed plus more. The Fairways is in an ideal location in the Mauna Lani resort. Right in between the Petroglyph Park/Fairmont and the Mauna Lani Shopping Center. Walking to both is a breeze. We loved our walks to the ocean front trail for the gorgeous sunsets. The grounds in the Fairways are beautifully maintained and the pool is wonderful, including the hot tub. Though there is not a territorial view, the neighborhood common ground is lush with Hawaiian landscapes, plenty of shade around the unit and pool and good security. The property owners had a completely furnished unit with everything we needed for our stay. And importantly it had great AC and overhead fans in every main room. It was easy to cook at home and we enjoyed grilling and eating on the patio. The little workout room had what we needed for extra fitness, but a sign-up was needed because of its size. We so appreciated the beach equipment and big fluffy beach towels. Our easy drive to the Beach Club was always rewarded by great ocean swims & snorkeling, including the enjoyable walking trails to the fish ponds and the beach front of the lovely hotel. Highly recommended.

Our family has spent vacations at multiple properties throughout the area, including one in the very same building at Fairways, and this was the most well equipped, private and hassle free condo we’ve rented. The beach gear was in good shape and had everything we needed (the beach wagon is life!). The condo was comfortable. Communication was extremely easy and responsive. Would not hesitate to stay again.

This is the third time my family or I have stayed in this lovely home. Mark is a great host who promptly answers any questions. Kitchen is wonderfully equipped, linens plentiful, and beach chairs, snorkel gear, cooler are provided. This Fairways location overlooks a large tropical garden and is a short walk to the pool making this house perfect for adults looking for quiet and also entertaining for the younger guests. Other area amenities include a handy grocery store and access to the "owners beach". We look forward to returning!

Unit very functional, although a few more kitchen items like a whisk and salad spinner would help. Lanai furniture needs a serious upgrade and rearranging. The 4 lounges stored in the small lanai took up too much space and were less than appealing in cleanliness. The extra bbq also takes up valuable space. So an overhaul with new furniture designed for sitting outdoors would really enhance the unit. The Mauna Lani shopping and restaurant area looks depressed with so many shops closed. The resort has lost the great vibe it had several years ago. Not much of anything fun going on at the Mauna Lani Centre now. Overall, good basic accommodation but could benefit from some upgrades.

Area was quiet and easily accessed gated community with small pool. AC kept the unit comfortable. Main suite bed (upper level) was very comfortable and lots of space on main level. Laundry was commercial grade (large capacity) - very efficient and easy to use. Beach supplies were much appreciated! View to the rear of the property of a fairway, so no beach or ocean views; but easy drive to great beaches. Close access to groceries (FYI- great Poke there too).

Owners have a ring doorbell hidden in the space between the screen & door at entrance. It is difficult to see, I didnt notice until late in the week of our visit. I have stayed in many units in the Fairways complex and many units in Mauna Lani and beyond. This is the first time ever that I've needed to contact owner for check in information with only 2.5 dsys till arrival. Communication could be much better.The unit is spacious and beds are comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. The location of unit is close enough to the road and we could hear vehicles driving by at all hours. The unit was filled with dozens of artificial plants and numerous knicknacks. I personally prefer less clutter.I needed to wipe out washing machine because it was full of mold from door being closed on front loading machine. My biggest criticism is the beach equipment is worn out and disappointing since it was a beach vacation for us. The chairs were missing head rests and the backpack straps broken and the handle barely usable. 2 umbrellas one totally broken, the other barely functioning. The boogie boards missing strap and other one totally pealing on the bottom. I have stayed in numerous units and this was by far the most worn out equipment I've encountered. The price to stay here definitely warrants decent beach equipment.Finally my husband was taking a picture of the wild turkeys in the grass across from unit and a neighbor scolded him. He explained to her what he was doing and I spoke to her as well. She did back off and became friendly, but her behavior was unnessary as we are a quiet retired couple in our 60s and don't require monitoring .

My wife and I have been coming to the Mauna Lani resort for 8 years, and this is our 2nd year in the Fairways and our 1st year in this beautiful condo. We have already reserved our two weeks here for next January, and will hope to spend the rest of our visits to the Big Island in this beautiful home!We’ve never seen a condo so well equipped (we dare you to list a kitchen need that has not already been thought of!), so beautifully decorated, and with such a practical layout (master suite on the ground floor, with extra bedrooms upstairs for family or guests). Glasses and plates in abundance – both plastic for the kids and ceramic for the adults. All the appliances and pots/pans you’d ever need. And so many beach towels and house towels…you’ll never run out!This condo is large, with space for all with room to spare. The furniture and fixtures are first-rate (most comfortable couch we’ve ever sat on!). The garage is stuffed with lots of beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, and beach toys…just amazing. And the boogie boards are new…a nice change from other condos! The condo was immaculately clean upon our arrival, and our communications with the owners were answered promptly and effectively. Our family had a wonderful stay at the Mauna Lani golf villas. The property was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We especially loved the house tiki and personal touches throughout - it felt like a home. The lanai had lovely pool and garden views, and it was great to grill and relax at the outdoor table. The kitchen has everything you need, and we enjoyed making some great meals with local ingredients from the nearby marketplace. Having access to the Mauna Lani beach club was a great benefit that we used a lot. The private pool area that's right outside from the property was wonderful as well. We appreciated the updated laundry room and being able to refresh our beach towels and swimsuits that were getting funky while we stayed. A truly relaxing and wonderful stay on the beautiful Kohala coast. We hope to come back!

The Fairway condo 1702 was delightful. It was great having three bedrooms so each kid could have their own bedroom upstairs, while us parents could have a quieter bedroom downstairs. Kitchen was well supplied, and I utilized the grill on the lanai for barbecuing the famous Parker Ranch ribeyes. TV in the living room was great and had access to all the streaming channels.
