The location is perfect and enjoyed access to private beach which is 3 minute drive away. Pool was beautiful. The condo was clean, spacious and had everything we needed including chairs/umbrella for the beach. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

This is such a wonderful, spacious, and well thought out VRBO! We (my wife, our daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter) enjoyed every aspect of this end unit. The ample beach supplies in the garage, the Mauna Lani beach club access, the beautiful decor, the short walk through the back door to the pool, and the quiet and relaxing neighborhood all make this unit a solid 5 stars all the way around. The only complaint any of us had was that the water pressure in the non master bathrooms was too high and made the shower spray sharp (especially on the 5 month old), but that was not a major deal. I think this unit makes a very high standard that all future units will struggle to measure up to in our future.

Q22 is a very well equipped unit. The hosts were very gracious and helpful.Would have been five stars but we had a few things happen beyond the owners control, including three solid days of chainsaws and wood chippers where it was impossible to sit outside. We have been coming to the Golf Villas for 15 years and never had this happen before.

Light, clean condo with great kitchen that is well supplied and comfortable furniture. View is of lava, golf course, and has lovely sunsets, but not ocean. Kona VR is great to work with, helpful, clear instructions, immediately responds to questions regardless of how stupid (lol i didn't know how to use remote). Condo has wonderful pool, Jacuzzi, and beach gear. Would definitely stay here again. Favorite beach is Hapuna. Nice farmers markets. Groceries are less at Waikoloa Village up the hill. Wish it wasn't so darn expensive. In 5 years, these and other condos have doubled in price. We can no longer make every 3 years trips, unless we scale way down. But, we had a wonderful meeting-anniversary trip.

It was a beautiful property on the south golf course of Mauna Lani. The king bed was very comfortable. We slept really well and it was very quiet.We played golf on the north and south courses, and enjoyed it very much.We went to the private beach club restaurant and beach, It was nice. Our group of three adults had an incredible stay at this beautiful end-unit villa. Having three bedrooms and three bathrooms made all the difference—we were each able to truly relax, unplug, and enjoy our time together without stepping on each other’s toes.The villa’s location was ideal: I loved walking on the golf green at sunrise each morning, and we were close to some of the most beautiful beaches on the island. The garage full of beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, snorkel sets (we did actually bring our own masks and snorkels which turned out to be a good thing), coolers, etc.) made beach days effortless—we didn’t need to buy or rent a thing.The kitchen was one of the best-stocked we’ve ever seen in a rental. Unlike many places where everything is stripped bare, this villa had thoughtful extras like spices, oils, and all the tools we needed to cook. Paper towels, TP, and other basics were provided as well, which made things easy and stress-free.Everything was spotless, and the grounds themselves were spectacular—lush, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. The pool was almost always empty, which felt like a hidden luxury. The owners were absolutely lovely to communicate with and made the whole process seamless.All in all, this villa exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s close to everything you’d want for a Hawaiian vacation, yet feels private and tranquil. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Steve and Karen were very responsive, gave excellent recommendations, and the condo was fully stocked for the beach, relaxing, and cooking. The pool is steps away and beautiful. The private beach is a hidden gem with calm waters that are perfect for snorkeling. We will miss our morning walks to see the sunrise and swimming in the ocean every day. Cannot recommend enough!

Generally a good location. The beach access was this condo was incredible - just down the road the beach has a wonderful restaurant, small crowds, and a delightful walking path through the fish ponds with lots of fish to the Mauna Lani. The kitchen and bathrooms were a little tired and the toilet seats in all three bathrooms do not fit the toilets and need to be replaced. The biggest issue was the check out process. Never had a place that did not allow you to leave the dishwasher and dryer running. This meant an absurd amount of cleaning for us on our last morning to the point that we should not be paying a cleaning fee.

The location is nice and the beach access is great. We rode the bikes to the beach but would recommend driving since the wind picks up in the afternoon. Great snorkeling at the beach down the road.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Mauna Lani golf villas! The condo far exceeded our expectations. It was lovely, peaceful, spacious, and equipped with anything you might need (e.g. cooking supplies, beach gear, towels, etc). The proximity to the pool was great, especially for evening swims, and the lanai was perfect for morning coffee. Having access to the private beach club was a huge bonus - we loved going early and using the cabanas, which provided excellent shade and allowed for extended beach days (the snorkeling there is amazing!). The Mauna Lani area is wonderful and has a great grocery store, coffee shop, etc. Many great beaches, restaurants, shave ice, and shops are a short drive away. Our hosts were incredible - very welcoming and communicative. We cannot wait to return on our next visit!

The owners were super helpful throughout the process, being very prompt and provided some good recommendations.The loft was great when traveling with 2 teenagers - allowed everyone to spread out and have their own space. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook most meals at the condo. The pool/hot tub are super close (you can see it from the lanai), and a great spot in the afternoon/evenings after spending the mornings at a beach. This was our second trip to the Big Island. On our first trip, we stayed in downtown Kona, but ended up driving to north to the Mauna Lani area for all the best beaches! We are so glad we picked this unit and this area for our second trip! The home was perfect for my family of 5. They had everything we needed and more for a terrific vacation. The view from the lanai is gorgeous with the mountains, lava rock and golf course. The pool is a 30 second walk from the unit and was beautifully landscaped. The best part was access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club. No fighting for parking spots or beach chairs. They had super clean bathrooms and showers. The restaurant on site has tasty drinks you can take to go on the beach, and a lovely fancy vibe in the evening. The snorkeling was incredible! We saw turtles, coral, and a huge variety of fish. The property manager was helpful and responsive and made the whole stay so easy! I can’t recommend more. When we come back to the Big Island, we will stay here!!!!

I travel for work on the big island, and the golf villas never disappoint. We stayed in this exact unit last year as well, and everything was awesome. Clean, spacious, well stocked, and the access to the private beach is the cherry on top. The only downside is the 4 o’clock check-in. They say that you can request an early check-in, but this place is now managed by a company through VACASA versus an individual person, so you get the standard automated response for any real personal service, but other than that, really no complaints. It is what it is. Oh one other thing, the separate detached garage was the perfect storage unit for our paddleboard and surfboards that we rent. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for big Island getaway.

The neighborhood is very quiet — we never heard anyone. We definitely used the rental SUV every day; I'm not sure it would be doable without a car. Everything was great about this property from the communication of the host to the cleanliness and location of the unit. Plenty of beach supplies and a suprisingly big kitchen! Beautiful view from the outdoor patio. The only thing to note is that the wifi signal is very weak. If you are planning to do work here take that into consideration and plan to head to a nearby coffee shop or use personal hotspot if necessary. Would recommend this property and would stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay! The property looks just like the pictures and actually feels more spacious in-person. We had everything we could need between the kitchen, bathrooms, and garage. Cooked breakfast every morning, BBQ’d out on the patio, plenty of linens, and lots of fun gear for the beaches in the garage. We had no issues accessing the unit or the amenities - like the lovely community pool that’s just steps away from the back patio. The patio is also a fun place to bird watch or hang out while kids ran around in the grass yard. We were very happy to find plenty of activities/places to visit within easy driving or biking distance ((Kalahuipua’a Fishponds, Malama Petroglyph Trail, Holoholokai Beach, Hāpuna Beach, and the shopping center at Mauna Lani - great coffee and lunch shops). We were also close to The Saddle Road connection and other major roads, which made exploring the island via car easier as well. Plenty of space in the driveway to park the mega SUV we had rented to get our crew around the island. We hope we can come back again soon! Highly recommend this property.

We have been to Hawaii over 40 times and for years we have used VRBO…this was the first time at the Golf Villas and we really enjoyed it. Loved the layout of the pool and very convenient to M2. Place was clean and everything worked…except the auto light for the BBQ, not serious but was an inconvenience to light it and of course the access to the Mauna Lani beach is great as well. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend this unit.
