This is a great place to vacation stay. It is very clean, well equipped including snorkeling gear, and beach chairs and umbrellas, and it’s quiet. There is a great swimming pool. But the private beach is the jewel.
That beach is only 6 minutes away, and is the best beach we’ve found on the island. Good snorkeling, swimming and relaxing.

Golf Villas H-2 offered our family everything we needed to relax and have daily adventures. The pool is close to the unit and a wonderful break from the sandy beach. The Beach Club access is perfect for families who want to chill, swim, paddle board or snorkel and enjoy a few drinks at beach club bar… bring them to your lounge chair at sunset. Being in the Mauna Lani area affords you access to the beautiful beaches of the Kohala area. This was our second visit to Golf Villas H-2. We’ll be back!

This is nothing against the Owners of the condo. But because this is a downstairs unit, the constant walking upstairs (especially at night) along with their theater system that sounded extremely loud, I feel it is a fair review. I didn't know this was a downstairs unit and this is my fault.

There is something about a moonset simultaneously as the sun begins to fill the morning sky from the Golf Villas at Mauna Lani.
This unit is a lovely place to see both along with so many more amenities. The two-bedroom unit was perfect. Nicole, our property manager was quick to respond and support in any way needed.

This was mine and my husband's 3rd time staying within Mauna Lani (if that tells you anything about the neighborhood 🙂)... and we had my husband's parents with us this time as well. The private beach access can't be beat! The condo was clean and comfortable for us.. and we greatly enjoyed using the outdoor grill and patio area. My husband and father-in-law also golfed the south course and enjoyed it immensely! We would definitely stay here again if we get the opportunity. Mahalo!

Property manager was very responsive to questions.
Great time to be in HI - 10th - 18th. Not crowded at all. Most days we went to pool we were the only ones there. Beach is awesome - great place to snorkel. Sunset cruise became a whale watch cruise too! Napua is a lovely restaurant - Good food, drinks (lime squeeze!!) and such nice staff!!
The upstairs condo was for sale so we think that made for more noise (cleaners and open houses) than normal. Very nice!

Location- We chose this spot for access to the private beach and were thrilled with the easy parking, beautiful white sand, and great snorkeling just beyond the sea wall. It's about a 2 mi. drive to both the private beach and also the black sand beach (more limited parking) but fantastic snorkeling! Not accessible to walk to shops or restaurants. Perfect spot for walking just across to the beautifully landscaped pool which felt like paradise. Terrific condo if you want quiet over bustling and easy driving to Waimea and Kona.
The condo was clean with very comfy beds and tons of beach gear: chairs, umbrella, cooler, sand toys, snorkel gear. Well- stocked kitchen with spices, plenty of paper products. TV in the front room- great for streaming, spotty cable.
Beautiful sunsets can be seen if you put chairs out on the grassy area just beyond the small lanai.

The location of this property is IDEAL! Mauni Lani is a large resort with so many hiking/walking trails, historic parks, beach and an amazing pool across the road! When looking at a lot of properties, it may not be immediately apparent all this location has to offer. Additionally, it’s location on the island is good; far enough away from crowded Kona but close to beaches, state parks, Hawi and the cute little Portuguese donut shack.
The Villa’s property manager provides a warm welcome. The villa is well stocked with creature comforts of home like large coffee mugs, many different types of pillows so you can pick the one that is right for you, beach towel/beach toys/chairs, hair dryers, shampoo and conditioner, etc. We had coffee on the patio every morning. Coming from MN, this was such a wonderful thing. I highly recommend this property and would love to go back again.

What a delightful and wonderful stay at H-2 in the Golf Villas in Mauna Lani! From the wonderful sunrise coming over the mountain to the spectacular sunsets as they settled into the horizon on the sea, the stay at this VRBO property was incredible. The wonderfully-furnished property, along with the amenities that included pool access, beach usage and gated community security, were important elements of this being a highly enjoyable and memorable stay. Short drive to the supermarket and private beach, very quiet lovely area with beautiful sunset and stars at night! This location is just so perfect for a relaxing stay at Mauna Lani.
Only negative thing was about the cleanliness of the condo H2 unit we stayed. Shower head covered with molds, washing machine full of molds (this made all the towels smell mold), many dirty dishes, old cheese stuck on cutleries, unpacked old butter left in the fridge, etc etc etc.
If the condo was kept clean or if you don't care too much about cleanliness, this would be a great place to stay!!

Beautiful, well-appointed condo perfectly located in the Waikoloa / Mauni Lani area. We stocked up at Costco and enjoyed most meals in the privacy and comfort of the condo. Great amenities with beach supplies and access to the private beach nearby...a short drive to watch beautiful sunsets every night. Highly Recommend this property!

We loved the comfort and amenities within the condo and on the property. The lanai was quiet and peaceful for morning coffee and we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets each evening!
The pool was super close to H-2 and it is landscaped with Hawaii’s native plants, offering both privacy and an inviting place to swim and relax. The beach club and walking trail north to Muana Lani offers so many activities for the family all day long. Beach 49 has incredible snorkeling, a 10 minute walk away! We’re planning on staying here again for our next Big Island visit!

This property was perfect for our little family of four. We have a toddler and a newborn. The location is quite and peaceful, it was also close to the pool which our toddler used often when the newborn was sleeping. Access to the private beach was perfect for our toddler to be able to safely play in the ocean. There is a grocery store close by, and the famous Hapuna Beach is 10 min away. The apartment was very clean and was well stocked to make cooking easy. Also, there is a pack and play in the garage if you needed it.

He made the entire process smooth.
The only suggestion is that A/C needs to be adjusted to a cooler temperature, the ceiling fans are not enough to maintain a comfortable temperature.

My wife and I stayed for a second time in this peaceful condo on the Mauna Lani golf course. Access to the nearby Beach Club provided many hours of enjoyable snorkelling and we felt miles away from the busy traffic of Kona. All essentials were provided and we would gladly recommend this condo to our friends.

We spent 8 nights in Hawaii and this condo was a great Comfy place to stay. It was actually bigger than shown on the pictures. It was very cleaned and have so many extra things like snorgling gears, ice packs for cooler, umbrellas, bottles of water, containers for making lunches, etc. We loved the swimming pool open until 10 pm. Also we took advantage of the private beach to go snorgling in the morning. We forgot to visit the black sand beach close to the condo :( (next time) We found the location of the condo perfect to visit other parts of the island. Thx you for letting us stay, very appreciated!

This is our second stay at this beautiful condo. Communications with the owner were prompt and responsive. The bed was comfy, overhead fans kept us cool. We made good use of the beach chairs/umbrella/cooler when we went to Hapuna Beach. Saw the "Whale Sail" happen there, really unusual. The kitchen has all you need, enough frying pans to make those good vacation breakfasts! We used the BBQ almost every evening, ate al fresco and enjoyed the beautiful sunset from there. This is a great location base to visit other areas from, and we enjoyed our road trips and returning to relax in comfort. The pool is nice, and it's a pleasure watching the stars while sitting in the hotub. We had another couple join us this time for one week, and were happy to share this with them. I would highly reccommend this condo to anyone and we hope to return in a few years. Thanks for the great vacation!

We stayed in unit E2 (ground floor, 2 bed/2 bath) at the Mauna Lani Golf Villas for 10 days. This is a privately owned unit. Anthony was excellent to deal with and has an on-site property manager, Bennett, who looks after any issue that may arise during your stay. They can both be reached via text and answer very quickly.
Tho location of the condo is perfect. The golf villas area is very quiet and spacious. We visited the Waikoloa Beach area which is about a 15 minute walk (on a lava trail) or a 5 minute drive. This is where the King & Queen shops are located, Hilton resort and also MANY condo complexes. We found this area much too busy and congested and were very happy we decided to stay in Anthony’s unit at the Golf Villas of Mauna Lani instead. There is a small grocery store (Foodland) and also a few shops within Mauna Lani (Tommy Bahama, coffee shop, jewellery, etc).
The lanai is covered and sheltered from the wind - which blew at approx 25-35 miles per hour 4 days during our stay. Even on windy days we were able to sit outside for morning coffee and dinner in the evening. In my opinion, the winds during our stay were comparable to what you would find in the Kapalua area on Maui. The lanai offers a narrow but pretty view of lava, and tall palm trees. If you pull your chair just off the concrete you have a beautiful view of the golf course and evening sunset. E2 is located between the 9th and 10th holes....no risk of getting hit by a stray golf shot while sitting outside.
Inside the unit is very spacious with an extremely comfortable king size bed in the master and a queen in the 2nd bedroom with quality sheets. The rooms have good separation between them. Both bathrooms are spacious and nicely finished. There are lots of towels. The kitchen was well equipped with some spices, salad spinner and the cooking utensils you need. No garlic press so bring one if you like to use garlic. The unit has its own propane bbq and table with 4 chairs on lanai. Beach towels, chairs, umbrella, boogie board, small cooler bags and snorkel equipment are all at the condo. WiFi works well in the condo and on the lanai. The common pool and gym are very nice.
We would stay here again without hesitation and think these condos are great value and offer quality accommodations. This is not an area with nightlife but if you want a peaceful relaxing stay I strongly suggest booking with Anthony.

My wife and 2 teen boys stayed at the Mauna Lani over the 4th of July for 16 days. Everything about the condo was fantastic. Had a couple of questions on the day the manager was off duty and texted the owner and he helped my out in a matter of minutes. The grounds were fantastic (even the gardeners were nice!) The pool outstanding.
The couple of times there were other guests there you would have hardly known because of the size and layout. The condo was well stocked, clean, in great working condition and as advertised. Beach club was nice. Even the guard to beach 49 was nice. (I think you are picking up on the theme). Highly recommended!

We had a great stay at the Mauna Lani Golf Villas. The villa was equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the outdoor area. We were able to BBQ and watch the sunset at the same time. Can't wait to go back!
