We loved our stay over Spring break in this beautiful home! It was perfect for grandparents with our children and grandkids. We loved the private beach club and the pool! So nice to have pool toys and beach chairs, boogie boards and coolers to use. Having the market and Coffee shop just around the corner was super convenient. We would definitely return but need more than 6 days!

This unit was beautiful and extremely well stocked, one of the best vacation rentals we have stayed in. Our children loved the toys and crafts that were available for us (sand toys, pool toys, scooters, stickers, game, etc), they were such a hit and made it easier for us. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, baking, grilling, even kid friendly items. Big bedrooms, bathrooms, and closets made it feel extra special and had plenty of room for our multi-generational family trip. It was a 10 minute walk to the shopping center, 5 minute walk to the pool, and 5 minute drive to the beach club. We would definitely stay here again and appreciate the quick responses from property management. Thank you for a great stay.

This was our second year staying at Luba's house, and it was just as good as the first! The home was so well-equipped for all ages and interests, and the location is spot-on, with a grocery store, pool, and beach club nearby.
Luba is exceptionally attentive to messages, and she helped us navigate the property and surroundings well.

Very spacious and beautifully decorated home very close to Mauna Lani Village. It was easier to walk to the grocery store than it was to drive and park! Access to the Beach Club with all the beach gear you could need. Very nice pool complex/hot tub/workout room just around the corner from the condo.

Amazing property, would recommend and have plans to stay again. Huge house, kitchen had everything we needed and more, outdoor kitchen/bbq was used often. Location is spectacular with easy access to beach club. House was stocked with beach toys for the kids, numerous beach chairs and umbrella, more than enough beach towels, a cooler, and more. We had an amazing vacation and this house provided everything we needed when traveling with kids.

🌺🏠✨ We had the most incredible stay at this luxury townhouse in Hawaii! From the moment we stepped through the door, we were impressed by the spaciousness, attention to detail, and exquisite decor. All three bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. Every corner of the townhouse was thoughtfully appointed, creating a sense of elegance and comfort that made us feel right at home.
The hosts were absolutely gracious and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Their attention to detail was evident in every aspect of our experience, from the personalized welcome to the thoughtful amenities provided throughout the property.

Lots of room, great location! A few glitches, no way to control temperature of one shower, the handle felt ready to fall off, too hot to use! We were told no high chair. Rented a high chair, one in the closet. No putter. The main flooring throughout the house feels like outdoor tile, uncomfortable with bare feet. Overall this is a great house, just a few little things that should be addressed due to how much you are paying to rent.

The condo has all you need. Also, in garage are chairs, boogie boards, sand toys and more. The wagon was a super help. Nice comfy furniture and nice patio as well. My only disappointment was the pool and spa at the clubhouse. Smallish pool and lukewarm spa. We never went back after a brief visit there, too bad. Foodland is handy and walkable from this neighborhood.

We have been to The Villages several times and love the area. We stayed at this property for the first time. It did not offer bicycles as other properties do. The grill was not clean and was old, the living room rug also had some spots and we found cheerios under the living room couch. Why does the owner not include the electric golf cart?

My family and I had a lovely stay in Steve and Maryanne’s home. The photos perfectly represent the rental. So many times we’ve showed up to rentals slightly disappointed because it’s not nearly as nice as the photos. There was so much room for my wife and 3 teenagers which made for a much more pleasant stay. The lanai was so lovely to sit and enjoy coffee or a drink in the evening and can we please talk about the beds. They were so comfy. I HATE leaving my tempurpedic when I go on vacation so I was pleasantly surprised to discover the primary suite’s bed was a tempurpedic. I would absolutely stay in this rental again when I’m visiting the big island!

The place was well kept and communication with the owner was great. Close to a couple great beaches and enjoyed the access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club. It was fun for the whole family and Robert had great recommendations during our visit and my favourite was a night swim with the Manta Rays! Also the location was walking distance to grocery store and the shops at Mauna Lani. Highly recommend this place for families and feel that there was something for everyone!

We enjoyed our stay in this home. It had all the amenities we needed for a great stay. Truly appreciated the beach chairs and boogie boards that were available to use in the garage. We ate most of our meals on the back lanai with sliding doors. It is a short walk on the same street to the community pool which is convenient, and close to the Shops at Mauna Lani.

I would guess something temporary happened: we liked to be outside specially around lunch time, but the 3 last days workers seeming to install pipes even on the lawn of the property was a bit disturbing to be outside. Probably out of luck.

We were very excited about escaping the Colorado winter for a small family reunion trip on the Big Island and this property did not disappoint. Location was excellent for easy access to the beaches and great dining. The house was immaculate and well stocked with towels and beach items, and the property manager was very easy to communicate with. Even with a sometimes cranky baby in one room, the house was quiet and insulated enough that the other rooms were undisturbed.
Our only complaint was that some of the pillows were a little flat and beds could use a memory foam mattress topper or pillow topper. They were definitely more on the stiff side for several of us. Still, we will definitely be back for another visit!

The house was much bigger than we had expected based on the listing. It had absolutely everything that we could have needed for our vacation and more. The beach club was perfect for swimming, snorkeling and lounging. The back patio door which opened completely to create a seemless indoor/outdoor space to enjoy the beautiful weather and read while the kids played in the pool was great. Finally, the master bedroom suite with huge bathroom, bathtub, 2 indoor showers, and an outdoor shower was complete luxury. Thanks for a wonderful Hawaii experience.

We recently stayed at this property and absolutely loved it! The house and location was perfect for our family. There were 7 of us and with 3 bedrooms w/ en-suites, it worked out great. It was very quiet, and we really loved watching sunsets from the lanai! The kitchen was great and had everything we needed. My granddaughters could go out and play in the grass outside, and enjoyed the local beaches and pool. There were beach/ pool supplies available which was very helpful. South Kohala Management was awesome; easy to contact and very helpful and kind! I would strongly recommend this property and will rent again when we come back with my family. This house is truly beautiful!

Aloha WOW! What a wonderful home away from home it was for three couples from February 24 - March 3rd. It started with a heartwarming welcome from Robert, whose prompt communication with us continued throughout our visit - and after! Hula Hula Hale had all the amenities - big spacious bedrooms and washrooms, completely stocked kitchen, magnificent lanai - which doubled as another cooking/eating area. We ate all our meals outside! The location was perfect for wonderful walks to the beach and restaurants. Foodland was a 5 minute walk away, so getting groceries was a breeze. Next time we will be sure to purchase a cooler bag to carry our groceries - and then use it as a picnic cooler for lunch on the beach. Having a car was useful to explore other parts of the island - we may consider a golf cart rental next time. If your plan is to just stay within the Mauna Lani Community, then the golf cart would be all you need. The community was larger than we anticipated - lots to see and explore there alone. We also went through Tours by Locals and had Shawn tour us all around the island for a day - that was most informative and a great way to learn more about Hawaii. Coming "home" at the end of the day felt so natural and welcoming. Look no further friends - this VRBO home is your home away from home you have been searching for! The house was very comfortable and had a great open space kitchen/family room that opened onto the outdoor area making for a wonderful gathering area for the whole family. The kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable and the location was very convenient. We have stayed in the Mauna Lani area for the last 3 years and really liked this community. We did use the community exercise room but not the pool. We really didn't have to communicate with the manager as directions/information were clearly laid out a couple days before or the day we arrived. However I did have a couple questions that I just emailed and got quick answers back. The only thing that i would point out in the description is the second "master" which is quite small - but does have a king bed. The room with the 2 queen beds is quite a bit larger. However it all suited our needs and I'm just glad there was another king bed to have available. We enjoyed our stay!

Terrific vacation house for extended family. Very well appointed. Great to have two en suite king rooms. Kids loved the pool and hot tub. Beautiful view and lovely chaises by the pool. Amazing amount of beach and sports equipment in the garage. Kitchen was well equipped and nice having an outside kitchen as well. Zero complaints. We’d happily come back!

We came to the big island to celebrate our son’s high school graduation. There were three high school seniors and four adults. The home was perfect for all of us and the amenities were abundant. The communication with the host was prompt and very informative. Our plane kept getting delayed on our departure day and the host went above and beyond to accommodate us. I highly recommend this property and feel fortunate we were able to stay there.

This townhome located in The Villages at Mauna Lani, is spacious, beautifully decorated, clean, and very well appointed. Kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a short or longterm stay. Floor plan works great for couples traveling together with two master bedroom suites, one on each floor. Balcony with large patio table and outdoor kitchen is perfect for enjoying the wonderful Hawaiian weather. Neighborhood is quiet and meticulously cared for. Communications with owners and property manager were excellent. Highly recommend!

Somewhat reluctant to give the home and owners the excellent review it and they deserve in fear of driving up popularity of a gem we hope to return to. The location is excellent, close to beaches and golf along the Kona coast. Tucked in the development enough to avoid any road noise or any noise. The layout of the unit was excellent with full bathrooms for each of the 3 bedrooms plus a 4th for guests or general use. This home is, in every sense, the perfect vacation rental. The property itself is absolutely beautiful and impeccably maintained, from the high end appliances in the fully stocked kitchen to the tastefully appointed bedrooms. The owners, Steve and Maryanne, were great to deal with and always quick to respond to any questions. Their attention to detail is evident from the moment you walk in the front door. The home is also fully stocked with all you would ever need during your stay, including quality kitchen knives and utensils, paper towels, dish detergent, laundry detergent, bathroom tissue, towels - truly no item is spared. The home also has absolutely everything you would need for a day at the beach including numerous folding chairs, umbrellas and coolers. We were also pleasantly surprised by the brand new boogie boards ready for our use. If you are looking to stay on the big island, look no further than this property. You will not regret it.

Our family of 6 spent a glorious week over Winter Break in this home. It was perfection. We were afforded every amenity you could think of under the sun. We enjoyed and took full use of the bikes, umbrellas, beach chairs and towels, goggles and fins, cooking supplies, and even the robust supply of games playing Catan every night. We did yoga poolside, went on runs, and cooked meals on the outdoor grill. The location was unparalleled, right next to the wonderful market where we bought our fresh poke and fish, and within biking and driving distance and access to the amazing beaches including the black sand beach. We felt like we were locals. We hope to be back again soon. Thank you for a week to remember.

This home is in a nice quiet neighborhood, has great privacy and is right next to a grocery store in very close walking distance. Hard to find on the Big Island. Although there is no ocean view, there is a great beach club with a restaurant for the neighborhood in a very short driving distance. Mauna Kea and Spencer beaches with great snorkeling are very close drives, as well. The house is very well stocked - kitchen, bathrooms and beach toys - we always found what we were looking for. Luba was very attentive and easy to contact. We had no issues. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this rental.

What a wonderful property and it was absolutely perfect for our family! This was our first big vacation since our oldest daughter was married and so having space and privacy was very important to us. The property is beautiful, the unit was very well equipped, quiet and so spacious. One of the things that impressed my wife and I was the quality of the furnishings. Some of the properties on other islands that we have spent time at are getting very worn. The proximity of Mauna Lani Villages to the shops made getting last minute food and dining decisions simple! We found that the concierge was always available and very helpful as well as the team in the office with questions. Not only will we book again through Kona Coast, we look forward to returning to the big island!
