This home is, in every sense, the perfect vacation rental. The property itself is absolutely beautiful and impeccably maintained, from the high end appliances in the fully stocked kitchen to the tastefully appointed bedrooms. The owners, Steve and Maryanne, were great to deal with and always quick to respond to any questions. Their attention to detail is evident from the moment you walk in the front door. The home is also fully stocked with all you would ever need during your stay, including quality kitchen knives and utensils, paper towels, dish detergent, laundry detergent, bathroom tissue, towels - truly no item is spared. The home also has absolutely everything you would need for a day at the beach including numerous folding chairs, umbrellas and coolers. We were also pleasantly surprised by the brand new boogie boards ready for our use. If you are looking to stay on the big island, look no further than this property. You will not regret it.

We can’t say enough good things about this property. There were two couples each with a small child. There was lots of space and well equipped for children. Have an ensuite for each family was ideal. Location was close to all amenities and very nice to have access to the beach club. We hope to stay here again next year.

Thank you for letting us stay in your amazing place. It's a fantastic layout, quality bedding, and well stocked.
Each room has its own high-end entertainment system and en-suite w/shower. Lots of privacy between the rooms too.
Having direct access to Mauni Lani Beach Club was the highlight of our trip. I’d argue that it’s better than the beaches you get with nearby Auberge or Fairmont, which are both five star hotels.

Enjoyed staying at the property very much. It was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was very well appointed without being cluttered. The bedrooms were large and the bathroom amenities were generous.
Had some trouble (likely my fault) checking in but Steve and Maryanne were very patient and helpful. I should have printed the emails sent in advance because I couldn't seem to access them when I needed them.
Beautiful grounds and nice location. Recommended!

Unit is lovely especially the lani where you can sit and listen to the birds. Very private. The layout of the unit is great with two big bedrooms upstairs and one smaller downstairs. All have excellent bathrooms. Kitchen is well equipped for all your cooking. Plenty of beach towels, beach chairs,umbrella and coolers. Nice to have access to the beach club as it has calm waters for the children. Swimming everyday was enjoyable. Only problem was access code for front gate. Did not work at any time. Had to use the cleaning code which worked.
Definitely would recommend this unit.

My friends and I had a wonderdul stay! The condo was just as pictured and well appointed. Supermarket and coffee shop .5 mile away. Having Mauna Lani Beach Access card was a plus. It was a lovely beach, safe for youngsters and seniors alike, with great shoreline and fish pond trail access, my favorite place for a morning hike with beautiful photo worthy views. The lanai was private, with a nice grill, outdoor kitchen set up. Bug spray necessary if you spend anytime out there. Very quiet. Pool/spa/ fitness center just a block away and well equipped.
We also enjoyed several meals at resort hotels. I would definitely stay at this location again. The hosts quickly responded to questions early upon our arrival. All in all a great experience!

The Mauna Lani Community pool is walking distance and within 10 minutes you can Lyft/Uber to several beaches. Highly recommend, this was a great place to stay for our first visit to Kona!

We had a fantastic stay at Hale Honu. The layout was perfect for our family and we loved the outdoor area, including the ceiling fans outside which were a nice touch on the warm nights. We appreciated having beach chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards and a rolling cooler at our disposal. The grocery store and coffee shop were within walking distance. It was a wonderful place to stay on our vacation to the big island.

This I a beautiful property in an excellent location. The decor, the furnishings, the comfort, the privacy……. All excellent. We took my in laws and our two teen kids and had an absolute blast. This property felt like home away from home. Steve and Maryanne are such nice people with excellent communication skills. You can tell they really care about there properties and the experience that their guests have. I would also like to mention that the Mauna Lani Beach club is wonderful. Probably the best snorkeling on the island as well as a nice calm area to play in the water and enjoy the beach. You also have Hapuna beach nearby that is probably the nicest white sand beach on the island. Additionally we enjoyed the fitness room and pool / hot tub that was close by our unit. I can go on and on about it! This unite is a gem, you will definitely enjoy your time here!

Our stay was amazing. The property is beautiful and the pictures don't do it justice. The home is immaculate, and well organized. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and was well equipped with all the toiletries. Linens were clean and very comfortable. Laundry room was equipped with everything from detergent, fabric softener, and dryer sheets. Sunblock and Aloe was also in the laundry room. Everything we needed for the home was there, and even beach chairs and boogie boards. We didn't have to buy anything for the home besides our food. Stephen & Maryanne were very responsive if we had any questions and a great support when we needed. The neighborhood is very quiet, friendly, and is gated enhancing privacy from the public. The pool and fitness center was great because not many people were there. Its a good space though and each time my kids wanted to swim in the pool we were the only ones there which I didn't mind at all. Foodland is literally behind the neighborhood and in walking distance, so grocery shopping was very close. Also, the private beach access was beautiful. Again, crowds were small, there are chairs there for sunbathing, but you also have the beach chairs provided by the property. They also have a cooler which came in so handy as we kept our drinks and food cold while at the beach. We had an incredible stay and wish we could have stayed longer. We look forward to another stay and hope to make it an annual trip. Thanks again Stephen & Maryanne!

This condo is spacious, comfortable and all finishes and appliances are high end. Hosts were easy to communicate with and we had no issues during our stay! I would recommend this place to my friends.

This is our fourth Big Island stay, and our first at Mauna Lani Villages. We used to stay at Kohala Ranch in the past. The unit is impeccable. In a quiet neighbourhood, minimal noice, closer to Kona and Costco. The Mauna Lani beach club access is a big plus for this unit. We went to the beach club daily in the morning before the crowds and again in the evening to watch the sunset from the fish pond area. Unit is well furnished and well supplied. Having two air conditioners is a plus and made the stay even more enjoyable. Our children used the pool and the small gym almost daily.
