The house is wonderfully equipped for beach fun. The beds are very comfortable. The house is easy to get in and out, close to the grocery story, close to the beach and has an amazing lanai where we spent many hours.Mike was so helpful. I started asking questions a few months before our trip and his answers were very thorough.

A wonderful property for our family of 8 adults and 2 babies. The resort area is beautiful with beaches, restaurants and golf close by. The pool/rec center is just a block away. Neighborhood is quiet and very safe.Condo is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. Outdoor cooking area is great. Management was very easy to work with.

The house is spacious, comfortable and well supplied. Location is very convenient for exploring Big Island especially the saddle road, north and west coast. Our highlight was the beach within the community which has amazing snorkeling with very easy access. Many other great beaches are within 10-15 min drive. Pack reef friendly sunscreen!

The property is located in a nice community. There was enough room for our family. The furniture and mattresses could use a face lift. Otherwise, everything was very nice. Mike, the property manager, was very responsive to our questions. We would stay here again.

This home was amazing! The location is great for enjoying your vacation. Some of the perks is enjoying the lush and vibrant outdoor areas with coffee in the morning, spending a sun soaked afternoon at the exclusive beach club where you can snorkel, order drinks, or just enjoy a good book on the complimentary lounge chairs! Delicious, oceanfront, sunset dinners at the nearby 5 star resorts are a must. The home itself has all you need to enjoy the beach or the community pool and gym. I can’t wait to come back ;)

I began searching for our Hawaii vacay “home” in June of 2021! Our actual Anniversary date would be October of 2021 and our trip would have to be realized in April 2022!
Lots of planning and anticipation!!!
Our KaMilo condo was all we had hoped for!
The four bedrooms worked perfectly and the living space was roomy for all 8 of us.
We used the pool, pavilion, private beach and got to explore so much of the island from this location!
All of us came home rested, happy and dreaming of another visit.

This home was even more beautiful and functional than shown. The beach club, grocery store, and many restaurants are walk-able (highly recommend Canoe House). There are two pristine pools that are a few steps away as well. We loved our stay here!

We had a great time at this property at the beginning of March 2022. The home is big and roomy, the extras available for the beach (ice chests, chairs, wagon, boogie boards, etc) and in the kitchen was really nice. We had three families that stayed together in the home. The recreation area isn’t far from the home and is wonderful with two pools, spas, gym center, expansive lawn area and covered patio. Be sure to check out the private beach too. It’s pretty amazing with lounge chairs available and a great snorkeling spot!I would stay here again. My only complaints would be the sensitivity of some neighbors (we got a complaint for playing a dice game with kids at 9 am on the lanai) and the shopping center near by doesn’t offer much in terms of restaurants & shops, but will hopefully be revived soon with pandemic coming to an end.

Overall, our experience was very positive. The pool proved to be wonderful for small kids (and adults) and we met the same families every day which made for a community feel. It would be nice if some basic items like flour, sugar and other baking and cooking items were in the cupboards. It would make meal preparation much easier and eliminate the need to buy quantities that are not needed for a short stay.

Plenty of space for 4 couples. We really enjoyed the comfy chairs and large table on the lanai. The pool is only 5 or 6 houses away and is very nice and large. The pavilion there has comfy tables and chairs too. The beach club is a few minutes away. We loved having this special place to enjoy the beach. The Foodland grocery store is right down the street and you can order groceries ahead or have them delivered. We will definitely be back!

This home is beautiful and the community it is in is beautiful. It is just a very short walk up to the wonderful pools and workout facilities. The property manager was friendly to work with and the property itself was spacious. Great shared living space. You definitely need a golf cart or car to get to the private beach community, but that was just fine.

Communication with the property manager was prompt and helpful. The home was clean, beautiful, and stocked with extras to enhance our stay. We cooked four meals, used their beach chairs and umbrellas, along with coolers that was so helpful in our comfort and enjoyment. This property is quiet, well kept, and families cannot go wrong renting this home. It is also centrally located to many beaches and within easy driving to shopping, waterfalls, and Volcanoes National Park. Highly recommend this rental home.

Rental was very spacious and beautiful. Everything was perfect. Although the water and ice were turned off on the refrigerator (due to a broken part), management added an external ice machine for us to use. Loved having a washer and dryer (dryer was not very effective at drying the clothes… had to run it multiple times to get clothes semi-dry). Overall, lovely amenities and gorgeous rental! It will definitely be a memorable experience! Thank you!

Kamilo 110 męt and exceeded all expectations for what we were looking for in a rental. The house is very well equipped and clean. The spacious two story house gave each of the kids their own space as well as a large main floor gathering area for all. The location is a quick 1/2-3/4 mile from the beach. Mike and Shig were very reachable and reactive to any questions/needs we had. The hammock in the back yard was a delight for my older kids.

This was a beautiful home and suited our needs very well. Kitchen was completely loaded with anything you might need. House was very clean. Quiet neighborhood. Only issue is we had 2 cars and you can't use the garage so had to park one in extra parking near rec center. Drive a short distance to Fairmont & the Mauna Lani hotels which is great. Shopping marketplace close by. We ended up going to Kona almost every day which is 60 minute round trip might want to stay closer to Kona. If you want quiet & down time this is a great place to stay.

There is simply not enough to say about this amazing vacation rental. From the exceptional customer service by Shig and Mike to all of the thoughtful supplies and equipment available at the house. The beach toys, wagon, chairs, umbrellas and the fully stocked kitchen made our trip so easy!! The house itself is beautiful and the large lanai that opens up to extend the living room gave our group ample space and an incredible indoor/outdoor living feel. Access to the ocean club was great for late afternoon beach trips and the pool area and hot tub were superb. Clearly, we had the best time and we will for sure be back! We had 6 adults and 4 little kids and all had plenty of private space when needed. Big thank you to Mike and the whole team! Mahalo!

The layout is perfect for up to 8 people. There are a lot of locations to hang out or eat. TVs in every room on Netflix, the AC was wonderful on the hot days. The yard backs up to an old lava flow so you never forget you are on the Big Island. Each morning the breeze rustled in the palms as we drank coffee on the lanai. The beach resort was nice for some SUP and snorkeling and the local shops and groceries made everything convenient. I would definitely return to Kamilo.

Very good for family or a group of friends. Great location. Pool and access to beach club (short drive) wonderful. Home and furnishings attractive and in good condition. Protect manager easy going, helpful and very responsive. My family if 6 adults and two children had a wonderful time. Lastly, a small full service market is a very short drive and open 6 am to 11pm. This proved very convenient.
