This is a wonderful house that easily accommodated 7 adults and 3 small chuldren. They had kid specific beach and pool toys and snorkeling equipment. They even had kid plates and bowls.The pool was a 2 minute walk. The owners were great and we coulfnt be more happy with the experience! Highest recommendation!!

Mauna Lani is a beautiful development. The home is beautifully furnished, fairly well, outfitted, and very close to the beach club. One word of caution: if you are looking to Beach hop, don’t count on it. Although “Shoreline Access “ is touted widely, the gate personnel are generally unwilling to honor that and routinely find excuses to deny access. That is of very little consequence, however, since the beach club is beautiful, with excellent snorkeling, and with access to the adjacent, historic fish ponds and queens bath. Overall, this was the best part of our trip!

What an amazing house and neighborhood. The house had ever amenity you could thing of (including recreation material). Very well stocked. We were able to enjoy family meals inside and out. Neighborhood was quiet and close to the recreation center and beach access. We enjoyed walks to the beach in the morning, as well as biking to the store. The property manager was in communication, although we did not need to access them. Highly, highly recommend this house. The two owner suites were perfect. We were very happy with our stay.

This home is beautiful and has everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked. Lots of board games if the weather gets bad. All the outdoor gear you could want (coolers, bikes, snorkeling gear, chairs, etc). The property is in a great location away from all the hustle and bustle of town. Private beach access, gym, and pool. Everything you need is close by. It’s also in a great location to check out some beaches that aren’t as crowded as the ones closer to Kona. I highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay - 2 families with 5 kids ages 1-8. The house is well equipped to handle meals and sleeping accomodations.master bedrooms are very large. The lanai is perfect for every meal and downtime relaxing with lush surroundings. The pool was a short walk, ocean and groceries a short drive. The private beach was great and beach 49 was well worth the $20/car to park and play for a morning. We were in Hawaii during several days of high surf, wind and/or rain so even with not "perfect" Hawaii conditions - we had a great time exploring and were so happy to call this rental "home" for the week. We had a great stay in Hawaii. House had a great layout for our party of 8. Plenty of bathrooms/showers (4 toilets, 3 showers and 2 huge tubs) for everyone. The house is equipped with everything you could think of and so much more! They really put a lot of thought into this vacation property. The owners are EXTREMELY thorough on check in and out process, how to use all amenities provided, which local beaches and restaurants to check out. My entire family was pleased with our stay and raved about the property through our entire trip. We would love to stay here again next time we visit the Big Island. This home was well stocked for all of our activities: cooking, biking, snorkeling, wave riding, cooking and grilling. The kitchen was especially well stock with woth everything needed for 10 guests. Located a five minute walk to the pool and and a 10 minute drive to two beaches, both an easy ride on the two nice bikes the host provided. Also, only 5 minutes from a grocery store. Plenty of room inside and outside on the patio. Absolutely perfect for our stay. Highly recommended.

We had a great time going to the nearby beach, barbecuing and hanging out in the house. The garage has tons of beach toys/ gear, snorkels and boogie boards. Also rode one of the two bikes a couple of times.
It was ideal for our family of 7 which included 2 grandparents, 2 married kids and their spouses and one toddler. I thought It was a good deal because otherwise we would have needed to rent 3 hotel Rooms at probably 500 dollars a night and eat mostly at restaurants.
House is well maintained and very comfortable. The 2 master bedrooms and their huge bathrooms are modern and tasteful. Cooked most of meals during our 4 days there and the kitchen is well stocked including an instant pot, slow cooker and rice cooker. Got to wash everyone’s clothes from our stay in Oahu. We were sad to leave.
I did walk to the community pool and gym complex. They were very nice but we regretfully never used it.
One tip I would make is to load up on your groceries at Walmart longs or costco in Kailua on your way from the airport because the nearby foodland and KTA are expensive, esp on wine and beer (like 300% more than What I’m used to seeing).

We leave in Hilo and drove to Waikaloa for the Labor Day Weekend. Check in was easy and home was very clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. The lanai was our favorite place to gather with a large table and BBQ grill.. Mahalo for sharing your home. Only wished check out was at 11:00 am instead of 10. We had to rush breakfast to leave on time. Again Mahalo for a great time.

The boo,ing of this property was very straightforward. Heidi was outstanding as fast as getting back to us to answer any questions. This really assured us that in the event we hit a snag we would be able to resolve it quickly.
But there wasn't a snag in sight! The checking was a breeze, and the accommodations fantastic! Plenty of room for the 9 of us to spread out. Room to dine, both inside and out. Short walk to the pool and short drive to the beach. And a garage well stocked with swim fans, boogie boards, etc.
House was beautifully decorated and very clean. Next trip to the big island we will be looking to book this property.

Our first family reunion since COVID couldn't have been any better, and our stay at this unit was one of the reasons why we had such a wonderful time! Check in was easy, the place was spotless and just as featured, and the property manager very communicative when we had questions about how to turn on the showerhead or stove fan (user error on our part! =P). We've stayed in various units around the Waikoloa beach resort and Mauna Lani areas and this was easily one of our favorites, if not THE favorite so far. Very private, enough space to spread out, a lot of beach toys for the kids, huge pool and great outdoor area to hang out after a day out. The only small downside was that the doors are thin, but nothing earplugs or the sound machine on your phone can't fix if you need to drown out breakfast noise from early birds in the kitchen!

Heidi is a wonderful, accommodating host. The home is luxurious, and was close to the beach club, the Auberge lodge, and shops. We are a family who loves to cook, so the large, and very well-appointed kitchen was a huge plus. Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay there for a month! But...we're looking forward to another stay next year.

We LOVED this condo for our recent vacation in Hawaii. It was spotless, well furnished and very comfortable for our group of 6. We felt right at home as soon as we got there. The beach gear in the garage was a real plus—we used almost everything! Loved having nice beach towels provided. Loved that there was even a basketball too—my son and husband drove the short distance to Spencer Beach Park to shoot some hoops several times. The bikes are excellent quality. We loved sitting on the patio in the morning, watching the sky brighten. The trees and flowers and all the birds were so pretty and relaxing. Very close to the nice pool, close to a grocery store, close to the best beaches. Heidi was such a generous host, so helpful in our trip planning. The condo is stocked with so much you might need when you first arrive—very nice touch. We wished there were a couple of chaise lounges or something like that to sit and relax in, instead of having to just sit at the table outside, but that is literally the only thing we wished for. All other needs were met exceedingly well. We would absolutely stay here again! Don’t think twice about renting this place—beautiful condo, beautiful neighborhood, wonderful hosts! Thank you, Heidi!

We really enjoy access to the private beach but the property pool was also awesome. I would definitely recommend this property to others! We took our adult children to Kona and really enjoyed our stay at and around this property. There's enough to do on the community property, to include the pool and gym, as well as the surrounding area. And the home itself was a perfect place for us to unwind and enjoy the evenings and mornigs when not out playing. :) The host were also very responsive and helpful.

Heidi is a delightful host to interact with. The house has everything you would want, and many things that the thoughtful hosts have provided fulfill desires you didn't even know you had! The KaMilo neighborhood is wonderful - the pool is huge and sparkling clean, and the beach access to the Mauna Lani beach club works beautifully. If bonus stars were available I would award them!

Just WOW!!!!!! These guys need to teach classes in VRBO hosting! Everything in the home was labelled. Everything you need, but not cluttered at all. They were super responsive as needed. The location is awesome. Short walk to the pool. Has a private yard with sunrise views and peak-a-book views of the ocean off the top bedroom. The furnishings are modern, the electronics worked without fail, the beach/pool toys were a huge plus and in good shape. The kitchen is very gourmet and the BBQ was in near-new condition. The Mauna Lani private beach was a huge plus with amazing reef snorkeling. Good food was available in walking distance at Juice 101 and Foodland. The pool area in this complex is huge and the gym was more than adequate.
Some VRBOs you feel like you're staying in someone else's house, not this one. It felt more like a high-end resort that was a house. We will back for sure and hopefully staying in this unit in Ka Milo.

We are a family of 6 adults and a 1 year old baby celebrating my 60th birthday. Heidi and Miguel have a beautiful home with lots of room for us to spread out. They have thought of just about everything you need to make your trip stress-free - from shampoo and conditioner, as well as body wash, tons of quality beach towels and beach gear. The house is an easy walk around the corner to a fantastic pool area and a quick 5 minute drive to the Mauna Lani beach. There was a glitch with the AC and Heidi was very prompt to respond and fix it. We all agreed that the accommodations and amenities made for a wonderful vacation. I’m already trying to find dates to return in 2023. 🏖

We had a great time during out stay on the Big Island. The house was clean and well stocked, as well as gorgeous. Kids enjoyed the stash of games and beach equipment. We had an issue with a fire alarm and it was addressed quickly and fixed, both Heidi and Miguel were responsive and helpful. Beautiful quiet resort townhome that is perfectly designed for large groups. Everyone has their own quiet space with large gathering area to come together. The owners have really thought through the vacation experience and have provided everything you may need. My personal favorite experience, that hasn’t been mentioned much in the reviews, is having a cup of coffee on the deck and watching the sunrise. It’s absolutely stunning! Also make sure to check out the telescope, as the stars are amazing. The grounds of the property are just beautiful and really create a sense of privacy for the unit. Multiple places to enjoy the sunsets just minutes away, from the Fairmont grounds, Puako, Hapuna Beach, all through the Mauna Lani Resort, Lava Lava Beach Club, etc. One tip, if you want to enjoy one of the more exceptional restaurants with sunset views and fine dining, make reservations well in advance. All said, I would highly recommend this property! They have earned the 5 stars!

Where do I begin??!!! EVERYTHING is so perfectly comfortable... The feel of the development and property is casual, contemporary and the perfect tropical vibe. The size of the home and the decor welcomed all of us who stayed, plus our daytime guests.(my boyfriend and I, plus my 3 adults kids and their girlfriends. We came to visit my middle son and his girlfriend who are living on the island). This place can definitely comfortably sleep 10 if your group is that large. We experienced some of the best sleep for being away from home - the mattresses, pillows and bedding were very comfy. The bath towels were resort quality. The hot water abundant so everyone could take their showers within the same 30 minutes. The sectional sofa super comfortable to sit in or sleep on. The center continent (too big to be called an island), and all the counter space in the kitchen, allowed everyone in our party to simultaneously help prepare the meals. The kitchen was well appointed for those who love to cook, like us. Plenty of pots and pans, bakeware, utensils, silverware, dishware, glassware, and lots of dish towels. The flattop range controls were temperamental at times, and we could not tell if it was the control, or the operator. LOL! We ate out on the Lanai, every chance we got(large table with chairs for 8) and made good use of the gas BBQ. We never used the large dining table inside. We were here during a crescent moon, so the Milkway was super visible from the back lawn, there were more stars and planets to see than you could imagine, and the Perseid Meteor Shower was at its peak. We just laid on beach towels on the back lawn and watch them scream across the night sky. They even had a telescope that allowed us to get a closer look at the galaxy, and see the rings on saturn!
There were plenty of snorkle sets and fins (which we disinfected first w a bleach water mixture in one of the 3 coolers they provide) The wagon came in VERY handy when bringing supplies down to the beach or pool (There is an AMAZING gazebo w BBQ and frig at the pool, which is a 2 minute walk, for guest use) The house provides pool toys to float on, and 2 adult bikes, which we rode around the resort almost every day. There were enough beach towels for everyone. If I owned a resort home, I would love something exactly like this home. Heidi, the owner, made herself extremely available by phone or txt, and definitely qualifies as a SuperHost. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice property with 4 total bedrooms and includes 2 master bedrooms which was great for our extended family get away. Unit is stocked with all you will need in the kitchen for meals and grilling. Garage has all the toys including bikes, snorkel gear, chairs etc and even includes the wagon to haul the stuff in. Pool is large and clean on the grounds and home wa last close to beaches, restaurants and shopping.

We can't say enough great things about this lovely home. Located in a meticulously maintained, gated community, the home has all the creature comforts with fantastic views of the volcanoes to boot. The kitchen area is huge, with a large grill on the lanai. And any questions we had were swiftly answered by Heidi.
My family was able to enjoy hanging out at home after a busy day of sight-seeing and activities. We wished we had more time, as we only got the beach club a few times and never even made it to the pool. On our last day, we discovered the petroglyphs trail and beach just down the road... Highly recommended if you miss your cats at home (note: there's a well maintained feral cat community with a few mongoose who think they are cats).
Kona shopping is just 45 minutes down the road, but there's a small resort FoodLand if you forget anything for dinner.
Our only recommendation is to provide more than one bath towel per guest. We used them a few times before washing, and had to use beach towels while cycling the wash.
All-in-all, one of our favorite VRBO vacations! We'll definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect house for a family vacation with kids! It was equipped with EVERYTHING we needed; beach stuff, well equipped kitchen, big grill, and plenty of space for everyone to relax. The location was great; close to the best beaches on the island and also a convenient base to explore from. The pass to Mauna Lani Beach Club made mornings at the beach easy, and the big pool at the Kamilo made for easy and fun afternoons. Auntie came with us to watch the kids, so my husband and I enjoyed walking to the Fairmont for a sunset meal at Brown’s Beach House. Thanks so much for sharing your house with us Heidi and Miguel!

We had an wonderful time staying at this home during our recent family vacation to the Big Island. If you are looking for a comfortable home, with lots of amenities and easy access to the beach/pool/stores, then this is the spot.
We had four adults, plus two small toddlers and there was more then enough room for us all. The beds are comfy and the kitchen is well stocked with cookware. We loved using the BBQ and sitting out on the lanai in the mornings & evenings.
The garage is full of snorkel equipment, beach chairs, coolers, bikes & more. The house comes with access to "private" beach club, which is a close drive (5mins) away. The beach and the the small cove are perfect for young children.
We will definitely be staying here again if we visit the Big Island again in the future.

This home in the Muani Lani resort area was the perfect base for our family trip to the Big Island. The house is located within walking distance to the shopping area, beaches and resorts. It is set up with all the beach items we needed. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was equipped as well as my kitchen at home. I wouldn't hesitate to return and hope we get to.

We had a large group and the house suited our needs perfectly! The kitchen is well stocked with pans, dishes, appliances, etc... The crib and high chair were life savers. The pools/gym are a short walk around the corner, and the beach is beautiful with great snorkeling! They have chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards, coolers and more available in the garage. The owner is very easy to work with. I'm giving it a 4 because I can't give it a 4 1/2, for being a little run down. Thanks for having us!!

We had six adults and two small toddlers. The set up is very kid friendly. The little boys enjoyed all the beach sand toys, the scooter, and the little bike. The adults enjoyed all the snorkel equipment, beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler.
You have to drive to the private beach but it is close and totally worth it. They supply chairs and plenty of shade at a nice calm beach with good snorkeling. The toddlers enjoyed the kids pool in the afternoons.
The house itself is very nice. The kitchen equipment is not 100% user friendly and there is only a peek a boo ocean view from the top balcony but the house is top notch and we enjoyed the BBQ and hanging out on the patio. We brought our own Amazon fire stick so we could watch movies at night. The local grocery store is also very close and convenient.
I wouldn't hesitate to bring my family here again.

My family loved this home! It was in a gorgeous area close to a supermarket (which is key) with lots of comfortable space to lunge and hang out. It was especially nice to have the BBQ and pool amenities to use as well. Definitely will come back for the next family staycation.

The beach club was very nice and it had incredible snorkeling. The market was also very conveniently located and everything in the house worked great. The extra equipment in the garage also came in handy as we used the snorkeling equipment and my brother in law used the bike a couple of times for a nice ride. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for the memories!

Wow! Our stay at the Kirk home was everything we could have hoped for in a well-appointed, beautifully maintained property, and more. So many small thoughtful touches were evident throughout this home. This location and this home rank at the top of our holiday travels. We'll definitely be back, in fact we're hoping to rent this place on a yearly basis. 5/5 stars for the Kirk Ohana!

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful early December week at this brand new location. There was a great deal of thoughtfulness put into this home and we were pleasantly suprised with how lovely everything was. From the well supplied kitchen with the latest in appliances and beautiful dinner and glass ware, super comfy beds, pillows and luxurious linens, all the way to shampoo and body lotion in each bathroom(to just give a few examples). We loved the beautiful pool area and the short walk to the ocean, hotels and shops. Bar B Que dinners on the outdoor patio each night made it a true place for rest and relaxation after a busy day at the lovely private white sand beach! The surrounding grounds are kept spotless and well groomed with beautiful flowers and trees. A little spot of paradise which we hope to revisit some day! Thank you to the homeowners who have taken such pride in making this a special vacation location!
