Our family had a great stay! The condo is very spacious and clean. It was very quiet at night which was wonderful after a long travel day. The gated community is beautiful and we enjoyed the pool and on site restaurant. We had no issues at all and would definitely stay here again!

John and Diana's condo could not have been nicer. This was my girlfriend (now fiance :) ) and I's first time to Hawai'i and staying here made it the perfect trip. The condo was immaculate with all the amenities you could possibly want, the resort grounds were absolutely gorgeous, and there was so much to do within a 15 minute drive. We had high expectations coming into this trip and we were still blown away. I couldn't recommend staying here enough and we plan to stay here anytime we come to Hawai'i in the future.

Our visit to this residence, in the Hali'i Kai community at the Waikoloa Beach Resort, was a pure joy from start to finish. We found the condominium itself even more impressive than the owner's listing suggested, and its conveniences and amenities even more lavish. And the owner himself was extraordinarily helpful and responsive, replying to even our slightest and silliest inquiries with an almost startling promptitude. I would not hesitate to describe the quality and comfort of the accommodations provided at this residence as clearly superior to those of a four-star luxury hotel, and I would most certainly and most eagerly visit here again.

This condo has been amazing. There is everything you need to make it comfortable from the kitchen being stocked with pans and utensils to the washer and dryer after beach days. The beach club area is beautiful for morning and evening swims. We did not eat at the beach club to rate the food but the vibe was lovely, just watch out for the attendant at the pool. There is one lady the works there that was very rude, she will make you dump out even water if you try and bring it in the pool area. We went down to the club to grill some dinner one night at the bbq and she even yanked a glass bowl out on my daughters hand while saying glass wasnât allowed. I understand the rule there just needed to be more class when enforcing the rules. She was very rude.
Other than our encounters with her it was truly fantastic. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful property. Excellent location in Haliâi Kai, a beautiful gated community with an amazing pool area, fitness center, and restaurant on the ocean. The unit was nice and clean and spacious for a 2 bedroom. May stay here again in the future if available and highly recommend to others.

Excellent location in our favorite spot on Big Island. Loved the snorkel gear! Truly theyâve thought of next to everything when it comes to Hawaii gear from the hydrogen peroxide to the boogie boards. Only item we thought we could use was a large beach shovel so we bought one and now youâre set!

A perfect family condo! I canât say enough amazing things about this place. One of the most unique neighborhoods and truly the perfect set up for a family of four. My husband and I and my mother-in-law and our almost 2 year old enjoyed walking to the ocean club at the end of the block every day. The staff at the ocean club + the food and the drinks were amazing! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The pool was perfect for a toddler with a waiting area. We will definitely be back! It might be helpful to note that a car rental is a must to get to the grocery store and to the beach. Great beach close by in front of the Marriott hotel with free access and great parking.

Stayed here for 8 days/7 nights at the end of May '22. The communication process with the owner and access to the property was seamless. Owner responds quickly and sent us the access info early. The condo itself is within the coastal resort area of Waikoloa, where the Hilton snd Marriott resorts are, but it is a secluded, private community, which we liked. Condo is well-furnished, clean, and perfect for spending some quality family time after a long day of enjoying the beautiful island. The Ocean Club is the community's private club house, with full bar, restaurant, pools, spa, and workout room. And an amazing view of the ocean! Just know that you are NOT near a major town. If you want any food after 9pm, you're on your own. After the local market (at Queens Marketplace) closes, it's slim pickings on where you can get food because the market and most restaurants are closed. So stock up your condo with food. We loved our vacation and the condo was a great launchpoint for everything we did.

We had a wonderful stay with our two teenage boys. The pool and gym were close for them to go on their own. Walks around Waikaloa were beautiful and easy to do straight from home. We loved spending time at the pool watching the sunset. We rented bikes for the boys for the week from Big Island Motorcycle to get around Waikaloa. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We will return. :)

Our family of 4 had a great stay. The condo was clean, kitchen had all the needed items, and the location was ideal on the west side of Hawaii. Great location to explore the full west side of Hawaii - took various day trips up and down the west side, with all trips within about an hour from this condo. Also enjoyed the restaurants and stores within 5 minutes of the condo. Would love to stay here again when we visit Hawaii in the future.

After a COVID19 delay of over one year, we were finally able to meet up with friends at this VRBO. Although Waikoloa is a bit of a drive from Kona, there are lots of amenities in the area. The Haliâi Kai beach club, which overlooked the ocean,
had a nice pool, exercise room and a bar / restaurant. The 2 bed 2 bath unit was spacious and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable. The appliances were new and worked well. Large lanai didnât have a grill but there were communal grills near by. Haliâi Kai is a beautiful resort community with impressive grounds. It is located close to beaches, hotels and shopping.

What a dream this place was! I came for a conference held next door at the hilton and it was an easy and beautiful 10 min walk! The house was well equipped with lots of beach gear! Only recommendation is some travel coffee mugs! Highly recommend this place and hope to come back some day!

All the reviews about this property were spot on. We arrived at 5pm and the apartment was lovely and clean and cool. We could not fault anything in the place apart from maybe the fact there is no broiler pan for grilling things. Beds were very comfortable and all the appliances in the kitchen and laundry top of the range and in good working order. There were some spices and other bits and pieces of kitchen necessities in the cupboards too. The Lanai was a lovely place to sit and relax. We would certainly come back again.

The property was perfect for our getaway. The condo was beautifully decorated with all of the amenities to make for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and it rained for four of the five days we were there but thankfully we loved the spacious condo and roof that extended far over the deck so that we could still enjoy sitting outside. The pool and bar/restaurant area which is a short 7 minute walk was a huge plus. There are two tennis courts by the unit and there are very good quality rackets and tennis balls provided. John does a great job with providing the "extras" to make it for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend!

We had a great week in this condo, it is close to âAâ bay, the King & Queens shops, Lava Lava restaurant and also not far from My favorite beach, Hapuna. We didnât use the pool area because I have to be at the beach when in Hawaii, but it looked lovely. Would definitely recommend this condo.

This was just the kind of place we were looking for. My wife and I and our two kids (11 and 7) had a great time. Close to beaches, golf course, restaurants and stores as needed. We enjoyed watching sunset by the pool every night. It was a perfect home base for us during our stay. Made use of some of the beachgoing gear (boogieboards, snorkels, chairs) as well which was a huge help.
Very happy with our stay. Will book again if ever on the island.

The Ocean Club was very nice. Pool is suitable for young children. There is a small but well-equipped fitness center open to the sea breeze on three sides. Location is convenient to nearby shopping, restaurants and both to A-Bay and the Queen K Highway. A beautiful and restful spot!

Our family had a fantastic stay at this property! It was even better than we expected from the pictures. The location is great and near so many fun beaches. The pool area was phenomenal for families as it isn't deeper than 4 feet, which made relaxing by the pool even easier. The owner always responded quickly and even accommodated an early check-in when I asked the day of. I would highly recommend staying here!

We were looking for a place where we can WFH - Work from Hawaii and John's condo was perfect for us. The WIFI was fast enough for three of us to be on Teams calls throughout the day and there were enough places in the fairly large condo for us to somehow manage to seclude ourselves and work. The only thing we missed from home were our work tables and computer chairs but it was still manageable. The condo itself and the community is just perfect for a relaxing laid back time - quiet, pretty and well maintained. The condo has everything and more you would need for a beach holiday including snorkelling gear with fins. We enjoyed our daily morning and sunset evening walks around the water front. This place is totally worth the price and John is super responsive and flexible host.
