The service was more than excellent. I called a few times because I did not know something. One time someone came to my room because I was unable to slide open a lock (not necessary to use). Someone was at my place in about 15 minutes to fix the problem. The condo is immaculate and very large. I just want to let you k ow that there are a few intermittent steps to navigate. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The lanai was amazing. Location within the complex was unbeatable. The place itself was so well stocked (kitchen essentials, towels and comfortable accommodations). Be sure to use the grill and pool. We are sad to leave and wish we could stay longer.

Condo was perfect and comfortable for what we needed on our stay on the Big Island. It's obviously an older condo, but the complex itself is very well kept and has an amazing pool and beach area. The ocean front view with all the lava rock is absolutely gorgeous. It's the perfect little condo for a couple who plans to go out to do adventures activities on the island, then come back to relax on the large lanai with a beautiful view.

Great stay at Christy's condo! This is a very nice complex- grounds are beautifully kept and the ocean front pool and beach area are so nice, especially for sunset viewing. Sweet lanai view as well and appreciated being on the 3rd floor and away from the pools. Very quiet, we slept well on comfy bed! Everything we needed for cooking at home, good central location for base camp for Kona adventures. Appreciated having cooler bag and beach umbrella to use during our stay! We would easily stay here again if available. Recommend highly!

Well maintained unit and complex. We used the bbq to cook dinner one night. Easy drive to Kona coffee belt and 40 minutes to Hapuna Beach. Short 5-10 minute drive to other beaches as well as to downtown Kona.

We thoroughly loved this property! So delightfully landscaped plus a huge salt water pool overlooking the rocks and ocean! Our condo was even better than the photos. It's an older unit, but tastefully done in Hawaiian style with nice up to date furnishings. Lovely lanai with ocean/courtyard/pool view. Phil and Gail were so easy to work with and were wonderful hosts. We will definitely be back!

The living space was beautiful and the grounds are very nice. The building itself could definitely use some maintenance as there was caution tape along the eves of the building and painted over cracks in the exterior walls. I figured with staying in a condo there would be rules that needed to be followed, but there are lots of rules here….and not just the condominium but the host had rules also. Nothing major, but I do feel like if you want certain detergent used on your linens you should provide the laundry detergent you want used. I have not stayed at many vrbo‘s but ample supply of basic needs like toilet paper and laundry soap has always been provided. So if you stay here make sure your stay is short or you are prepared to purchase house necessities for your stay.

This was a girls vacation for me and my 2 daughters. The accommodations were perfect for us with plenty of space and very clean. We enjoy doing some cooking and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the lanai and the saltwater pool was amazing! This was our second stay in this unit just different time frame and it was still a lovely well appointed unit. Management was on top of any questions or concerns as usual. Getting into and on property was well communicated via email (it would be nice if this was also in the VRBO app but it wasn’t an issue). It’s just a lovely place to be. Casa De Emdeko is an older set of condos, but are nicely set off of the main road, Alii Drive. The area is very quiet and peaceful. The landscaping is beautiful and well maintained. The ocean, beach area and saltwater pool are gorgeous. Even though the unit is older and not updated, it's very comfortable with a lovely view and even the bedroom has a nice view.

The property is beautiful with two pools, a common area cabana with clean and well maintained grills and a beach area for watching sunsets. The unit is perfectly situated by the pool and steps to the cabana for coffee in the morning or to grill with family and friends. We enjoyed every part of our stay but especially the lanai. We would definitely stay again.

Very pleasant experience. Some small issues: parking is somewhat difficult. Several nights had to park up hill outside the compound. Grab bars in the showers and near toilets would have been helpful. Some repair detail in need were apparent but not serious. Views from the lanai are spectacular. Coffee at the communal bar in the morning was very nice. Access to the salt water pool needs attention.

Complex was lovely, we really enjoyed it. The unit needs a very thorough cleaning. Dust and dirt behind beds, tables and blinds. Shower walls were slimy and door seals were dirty. Stove was not well cared for and takes forever to heat up.

I had a wonderful stay. This unit upstairs allowed for a morning on the lanai where the sun would rise behind and shine in the ocean in front. Just a quick walk to the front on the condo to the ocean front, salt water pool. Becasue of the unit location it does look over the open air “lobby” Unit was comfortable, nicely stocked kitchen, and the in unit washer and dryer was a plus! Love the Casa and this unit was wonderful.

Loved this condo complex. The unit itself was better than the photos provided.Very spacious for my family of 4. The bathroom was huge. Had tons of towels and pool towels. Plenty of sheets and blankets. Bed was very comfortable but a bit on the small side with luggage. Pull-out couch was comfortable for my kids. TV was a little confusing but we managed. (we didn't need it but my kids did) Large lanai to relax on with a side view of the ocean. Beach chairs and a cooler was provided. Nice to have filtered water from the sink. Kitchen had everything you needed. The garden pool was closed for maintenance but the ocean pool was the one you wanted to swim in anyways! Complex had BBQs but they were very busy at night. Location was nice, a bit farther south from the main area but we didn't mind, do not really like the cruise ship port feel anyways. Would definitely book again.

We stayed 2 nights at Gail’s condo. The unit was perfect for us. My daughter her 2 year old, my niece and I were very comfortable. The AC was great! The king sized bed comfy as was the queen sleeper sofa. The kitchen had everything we needed except coffee, but coffee and other food and snacks were available at the convenience store just steps away. The unit is tastefully decorated and cute.We enjoyed the saltwater pool and cabana area for soaking in the warm ocean breezes. The views were amazing from there.We would definitely rent again if the opportunity arises! The elevator was great for us, especially me since I have two total knee replacements. Parking was easy, if nothing was available in the gated area, there was plenty available outside of the complex but still in close proximity to the unit.Thanks Gail for letting us stay here!
