Right in downtown, great location. The condo was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the lanai was spacious. The kitchen is very small and did not lend itself to much cooking. The toilet hose leaked, and the property manager told us to put a towel down.

The condo is in a good location, walking distance to everything. The property is well stocked and has anything you might need, including items to go play on the beach or have a picnic. Accessing the property was easy and the host communication was good. No issues. We had a lovely time and would rent this property again.

The condo is situated in a parking lot, and the views from both bedrooms were disappointing. One bedroom looked directly into the parking lot, while the second faced the ramp to the garage. The pool area was just on the other side of the lanai blinds, and it felt like there was zero privacy. You could easily reach out and interact with someone in the pool, and the constant noise from the area was hard to ignore.
Additionally, the condo itself was in need of a thorough cleaning. There was a strong, musty smell throughout, which unfortunately permeated everything we brought inside. Our clothes and hair ended up smelling like the musty odor, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. The beds were small, barely double-sized, and far from comfortable. Only one bedroom had air conditioning, and the rest of the condo was stuffy, which made it hard to relax.
On the positive side, the property manager was very helpful and friendly, which was appreciated. However, despite this, the overall experience left much to be desired. Between the lack of privacy, the unpleasant smell, and the uncomfortable sleeping arrangements, I wouldn't recommend this condo for anyone seeking a peaceful or relaxing stay in Kona.

We moved over to the condo after spending a week at our timeshare. The location is great. Lots of beach towels and bath towels. Kitchen is fully stocked. We did apricate all of the storage containers. We were able to park in the upper lot and not the underground. The air conditioning is great.
Also, the screened in Lani was nice in the early morning for breakfast. We would stay here again.

We loved our time at this rental. The kitchen is well stocked. It is centrally located. The pool is great and there are lots of sand toys Floaties umbrellas available. The beds were extremely comfortable although they are small. There is floor mats that you can use to sleep on in one of the bedrooms. We can’t wait to come back!!!

Stayed 6 nights, we have stayed at this location in the past and like the convenience if wanting to stay in Kona. The mattress was too firm and pillows flat and need to be replaced. The window in the bedroom needs blackout shades because the light from the outdoor corridor makes the room lit all night. As for the hide-a-bed it looks old and can’t imagine anyone would sleep well on it. The beach chairs are super uncomfortable so found the beach towels best for a day on the beach and would be helpful if they added a small cooler for the beach. Positives: clean, location, excellent lanai, good kitchen, the chairs in the living room are recliners and comfortable, easy check in and great parking for the area. Good coffee and smoothies on the first level, two great locations you can choose from.

Perfect location in downtown Kona. Shopping, restaurants, scenic viewpoints, Farmers' Market and more all within easy walking distance.
Everything we needed for 1st day stay available in unit. Wrap around lanai and water view in distance wonderful.
Building communication and upkeep expectations met.
Only feedback is 2nd bedroom mattress made more comfortable with hard flat platform/boxspring or thicker mattress. Absolutely would choose this location again.

Despite being super close to all the shops and restaurants I would not stay here again. On our second day in Hawaii after being all day outside we were greeted by cockroaches in the house. After calling the support line for the rental all they did was recommend us to buy raid spray and we would be reimbursed for the product. After spraying every corner of the place we still found cockroaches the next day. After messaging the support line again all they could offer were traps for these pests. We couldn’t even cook in the building because we were so disgusted by the fact that there were so many cockroaches. After messaging and talking with the support line about how horrible this experience was and spending over a grand on our stay the only reimbursement me received was a lousy $100. DO NOT BOOK UNLESS YOU WANT TO SHARE THE SPACE WITH COCKROACHES.

This is the perfect place to stay to attend/compete in the Ironman. This unit was solid, had everything we needed, but could have used a little bit of additional care. It was not dirty or in bad shape but it just felt old and had some areas that could have been better (like a closet door with a paint stain on it). We have seen other units in the same complex that just gave a lighter, newer, cleaner overall feel. Again, we didn't have any issues with staying there and you cannot beat the location and convenience, and it has plenty of space.

We've stayed at three places in Kona and this was our favorite! The location can't be beat. It's close to all the shops and restaurants, but is quiet and safe. The management company is communicative and professional, and we knew that any question we had would be handled efficiently. We couldn't believe that Natalie kindly met us upon arrival to go over everything with us. The condo was comfortable and had ample supplies. Plus, the snorkeling equipment, boogie boards, rolling cooler, beach towels, fully-stocked kitchen, and more made packing a breeze and enjoyment of activities a bonus! We loved this place and will be back. Mahalo!

The unit is wonderful, conveniently located in kona . The condensation pump of the air conditioner is too loud . It turns on and off intermittently throughout the day and night and it wakes us up. The staff are very helpful. They provided us brand new cooler that we used for fishing.They have beach umbrella and beach chairs that we used. The staff responded to us in a timely manner if we have questions or if we need something. Thanks to the owner and the staff. We had a wonderful time.

Our vacation rental experience was enjoyable due to the condo's location and spaciousness. Although we've been to Kona several times before, we were not able to explore Ali'i drive like we did because of parking and walking distance. Staying at #215, Kona Plaza allowed us to walk around to all of the shops, visitor attractions, and beaches without having to find parking or walk a far distance. The convenience of this condo allowed us peruse Ali'i drive stress free. We also liked that the check in process was easy and our property manager provided great customer service.

No way to beat the location! It's just behind a small merchant mall on the main tourist drag, Ali'i Bvld. Walk through the mall and there you are! Shopping, dining and drinking all around you. Not to mention important (and interesting) historical buildings.
