Host was great and easy to communicate with, location was perfect (with gated parking and entry) and the condo and surrounding property were well kept and overall fantastic.
I usually hate sleeping on sleeper sofas, but the one they had was comfortable. If I ever come back to Kona, I will definitely stay here again.

The outdoor property and pools are lovely, it’s a very community feel. The day we arrived a group were playing Christmas tunes on their ukulele’s under the cabana, loved this! In the evening they blew their conch shells at sunset.
The condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed, thank you!
The bathroom was not clean when we arrived, but I spoke with Warren about this and he said they’d be sure to deal with the cleaners for the next time.
Location was close to town.
Would definitely stay at this property again!

Very well located and quiet. The place was perfect for us, kitchen well stocked, bedroom and bed were very comfortable to stay and sleep in. People in the condo complex were all very nice, 2 miles from downtown Kona. It was perfect for us to come back each night and have dinner and wind down for the next days adventure.

The property was perfect for us. We love Kona because it is not so touristy. The property was as advertised. The air conditioning at night was a must for us and not many properties offered this. So much better than an hotel experience.

The property and grounds, pools, plants, bbq and community area are all beautiful and so clean. The condo has everything! It was as if I was at home with all kitchen necessities. Bathroom was fully stocked and even a magnifying makeup mirror for us seniors. Bed was very comfortable. Quiet complex with very friendly permanent residents. Book it, and leave everything but your money and clothes at home! Oh, the location is perfect! Halfway between everything! Aloha!

We have stayed at Casa deEmdeko before and love the property with the sandy area and two pools. The unit was very clean and Warren was very responsive to any questions. The unit was very well stocked. Only thing we could of used was a few coffee filters and some coffee for our our first day here. There were beach chairs, noodles for the pool, wakeboards, snorkel gear, coolers, beach towels and anything else you might want. The front room recliners were very comfortable. There was construction going on two doors down which was pretty annoying at 7 am with pounding and loud voices but that only lasted a few days. It certainly wasn’t anything that the condo owners could control. We would be excited to return to this same unit.

We could not have picked a better spot! They have a salt water by the ocean and a private beach area along with a great community of people that live there. Was conveniently located for everything we wanted to do! 10/10 recommend! Warren is also super communicative and the condo is fully stocked with everything you need for an epic beach day!

This condominium was very clean and exactly as advertised. The property owner was exceptionally helpful and communicated quickly and kindly. We loved be able to go out the patio door and take the short walk to the ocean frontage where we saw tropical fish, crabs, and other creatures. The pools were very close and very clean.
This condo unit had beach chairs, beach towels, beach toys, and snorkeling equipment for us to use. They were all clean and ready (and we used them which was really handy for us).
My husband and I slept on the sofa bed and it had a new mattress and was very comfortable.
The condo area was very quiet at night. The other residents were friendly and the condo caretaker was very nice and reached out to us.
We are very thankful that we stayed in this condo!!

This is a wonderful accommodation. Everything went very smoothly and the owner was great to work with. The condo is very well equipped - everything you need, including all the beach things you could possibly use. We really enjoyed how friendly other people were at the condo. A real sense of community. Would love to stay there again as the Big Island has it all - beaches, hiking, kayaking, snorkelling, etc. and the location of the condo is very central. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

We enjoyed our stay at 129 Casa de Emdeko. The condo was comfortable, quiet and stocked with everything one might need for a week on the big island. The property is very well situated to reach points of interest in the mountains and on the coast. Great sunsets and soft breezes. I especially enjoyed the ocean-side pool.

The condo was clean and well-stocked with basic staples (salt, pepper, oil, spices, coffee filters - great while in Kona, baggies, dishes, pots, pans, dish washing detergent, pool equipment, etc). The A/C cooled only to 73, which is satisfactory for those living in warm states. It was a bit warm for us, but ceiling fans in every room were helpful in that regard. Owner was very responsive to emails prior to and during our visit. Saltwater pool was quite nice. However, the picture may indicate you can see the ocean while in it (you can't, due to a wall). Key is tricky to get out of and in to the lock box. Very clean complex, and we enjoyed breakfast on the lanai each morning, and use of the grill. Very fair price for what is provided. We would stay again!

We loved our stay at Casa De Emdeko. Our rental unit 129 had been remodeled and was ideal. It is on the first floor and was directly across from the fresh water pool, maybe 25 steps. It was clean and inviting with plenty of room. I loved the kitchen lighting. It was bright and fresh. The bathroom was remodeled also with beautiful tile and great lighting.
The location is close to everything in town. We hope to stay there again next year.

The unit was completely furnished with every needed item for an enjoyable vacation on the big island. I have stayed in different units over twenty years at Casa de Emdeko and this location in the north building was perfect. The owners have included everything for daily use. I especially appreciated the solid wi-fi. It turns out from viewing the visitor log I have stayed at the unit twice before.

This is a nice condo for a very reasonable price. The location is great...about 1.5 miles from the restaurants and shops and farmers market in downtown Kona, it is an easy walk (however it is along the shoulder of the highway). Casa De Emdeko has a beautiful view of the ocean, 2 swimming pools, and an amazing shared lanai/bbq setup for meal time, particularly at sunset :)
The condo itself is well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, and there was plenty of beach gear, which is a nice bonus! We found ample beach towels, a few boogie boards, extra snorkel gear, chairs, coolers, and umbrellas ... this is a huge plus as you can save money on rentals or avoid bringing all of this on an airplane.
The beds are comfortable, and there are ceiling fans in every room which helps to keep the air moving. The patio is really nice and sunny. It has a big table that we used for breakfast, games, and evening cocktails.
The only drawback is that there is not a washer or dryer in the unit. There are shared machines for the complex that I think you can pay to use, but this is a bit of a hassle when you're trying to soak up vacation time. The weather was so realiably dry and warm that we ended up air drying all of the towels and suits each day on the patio, and hand washing a few items in the sink. So in the end, not a deal breaker :)

The condo and the complex that it is within are welcoming, clean, well maintained, affordable, and provide amenities that allow for satisfying time at "home" if one isn't out touring. The pools, one fresh water and one salt water, are delightful, as is the sand beach which also provides some shade area. The BBQ's are readily available and there is an outdoor and a covered common area for dining or gathering.
Our condo was comfortable, clean, and well supplied with beach gear and household supplies. We had only to move in with our own groceries to feel at home. The listing photos were 100% accurate.
Casa de Emdeko is about 1 1/2 miles from Kona town and is quite walkable. There are several public beaches close to the complex for swimming or snorkelling. The complex is well situated for touring south or north on the island.
All in all we had a wonderful stay for two weeks. I recommend this property.

Everything was well stocked and clean, if your looking for a place for a family with infants or kids this is the place the pack n play came in handy and they have lots of toys and beach gear. The pull out and the king bed was very comfortable and the ac worked great. Fans in every room. Warren responded to all my messages in a timely fashion. The location is close to everything (we had a rental car would recommend) . Property was beautiful my toddler watched the birds every morning from the patio. Overall worked out great for my husband and i and our two toddlers (2 1/2yr & 1 yr old) Thank you for opening your home to us.

Hawaiian sunshine magic! Been to Kona several times and this place is our favorite. Very comfortable and clean with everything you need to relax or have an adventure. Fully stocked with beach gear including umbrellas, chairs, coolers, boogie boards and snorkel gear. This place is perfect!
