This condo was in the perfect location, just a short walk to the beach, as well as nearby shops and restaurants. We loved being able to leave the car parked and easily explore the area on foot. The convenience made our stay even more enjoyable, and the condo itself was comfortable and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and walkable getaway.

The smell of insecticide throughout the condo including on the linens was very off-putting on arrival. We had to open many windows to air the place out, which did help to make it tolerable. The floor was sticky downstairs. These issues may just come with being in a very damp environment, but we did not encounter them on another island.There were spacious living, dining, and primary bedroom areas. Private and pretty backyard. Be forewarned the upstairs primary bathroom area has no door for privacy. The downstairs second bedroom is snug for two adults with 40 lb suitcases. We were provided 1 roll of toilet paper downstairs and no laundry soap. The kitchen is well supplied for cooking.

What a fantastic property! We rented three different properties in this complex for a family trip, and this was our favorite of the three. The location is excellent- truly a short walk to the beach and the pool. Parking was abundant and always available.It's when you get inside that we were truly blown away. It is a well-designed and cared for space that makes you feel at home immediately. It has numerous air conditioners and fans that help make the temperature comfortable. The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked (sometimes better than our house!). It has a variety of spices and basic baking needs and every appliance you can think of. There were settings for 12 so we could have the entire family over. They have also kindly provided coolers and water bottles that were very helpful when we took day trips across the island.There also were beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys, snorkeling sets, and hiking poles- literally everything you could need on a vacation. There even was a supply of bug sprays, sunscreens, and lotions for when you got burnt.The lanais were incredible. My kids enjoyed having breakfast each morning on the spacious yet private ground level lanai. The upstairs one provided views of the ocean. We also loved the master suite and bathroom upstairs. What a great design!Probably our favorite feature of the house was the main dining table. Absolutely beautiful and fit the space perfectly!So grateful to Lynn Marshall for sharing this space!

Vicki and the property manager were excellent. This property was everything we expected in location and proximity. Right next to the pool and a direct path to the ocean. Both of the lanais were excellent- the ground level one was a great spot for the family to hang out while the upper one provided a great view of the ocean and a wonderful place to decompress at night. Parking was always available. The air conditioning kept things at a comfortable temperature.The place was well stocked from the kitchen to a closet filled with activities from boogie boards to beach chairs to anything else that was needed. Thank you for everything provided.The only two notes to keep in mind for this property- the ground floor does have a couple steps in it to get to the living room space. We had someone with mobility difficulties, so we had to work around that. Also, the upstairs beds are rather short. We had two people over 6 foot in those beds, and they were definitely bigger than the beds. Neither of these factors diminished our experience and we would gladly stay here again!!Finally, the passes to the athletic club were so appreciated- thank you for including them.Overall, a fantastic experience and so glad we got the chance to use this as the base for our trip!!

John was the kindest host I've ever rented a vacation home from. The home is just like the photos, and the sunsets are indeed beautiful. The ocean is visible from the lanai, and the stars are very visible on a clear evening/early morning since Kauai has virtually no street lamps, and I hope it stays that way! Our suburban children were impressed. The location is a short walk to Poipu beach, and it's easy to drive both east and west to visit some other beaches (especially in the winter). The north side takes about an hour to get to, which was not too bad, since we spent most of the time on the south. Costco and Walmart are just under 30 mins away. Everything is convenient. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed to be able to cook breakfast or other meals. Three new a/c units were just installed, and they kept us very comfortable. The swimming pools and hot tub are great, and parking is very easy. It was a perfect stay for our family of five for almost two weeks. You won't be disappointed if you stay at John & Aana's place!

Wonderful wonderful wonderful place to stay! Just a short beautiful walk to the beach and the pool is on the way. The room set up and a pull out couch also made the stay comfortable for everyone. That main suite upstairs is truly amazing - we were able to sleep up there and put our kiddos blow up mattress up in the loft area no problem. The place is actually better stocked with cooking and storage ware than most places I have seen which was great. This place too actually has number of fans and AC up in the main suite which really helped! Greta place over all, highly recommend.

Pros - Fantastic location for the price we paid. Outdoor grill and pool nearby. Proximity to the beach was great, just a short walk from the lanai. Cons - The A/C didn’t work very well and indoors was very warm and a few nights were hot even with the shades closed. One of the A/C units exhaust vent was broken sending hot air into the unit when we arrived and management acknowledged but didn't fix it. I ended up re-wrapping the vent with some of the existing tape and plastic wrap. A/C and fans were caked with dust on all vents. The shower door fell off and took a day to repair. The unit floor didn’t appear clean but wasn’t something we brought up to management. Odd, but didn’t affect my trip - The couch bed didn’t work well so if are expecting an extra bed, beware it might not work. Window slats didn’t close all the way or work very well at all if we wanted to open them. Unsure what towels we should use for the beach vs shower. No dishcloth, so cleaning the stove and counters with a sponge was difficult.

This gem of Kauai was private with plenty of space for privacy and comfort. It had everything you could possibly need to make your vacation a home away from home. The kitchen was beautiful with all modern appliances and stocked with all of the dishes and cookware you needed if you decide to dine in. The lanai was a perfect place to either gather around the table for a meal, enjoying the cool trade winds on a warm day, or relaxing and laying out in the sun. The bathroom was beautiful with a nice big shower, helping you cool off after a long day of adventure. So many times we have stayed places where we couldn't wait to get back home to our own bed, but to our surprise and relief, the king bed and the pillows were so very comfortable, making it easy to get a great night's sleep!!! The items left for you to explore, such as binoculars, beach chairs, cooler, snorkel gear, and sun hats was such a blessing. Some places, these items are required to rent. The check in and check out process was easy and the digital guide that shared great information about the grounds and the surrounding areas was much appreciated!!! The manager, Chris, was available to help and answer any questions we had during our stay. You can definitely tell that a lot of thought went into welcoming you here. The only downside was that we couldn't stay longer!! We will ABSOLUTELY stay here again! Mahalo❤️

Very nice location, unit, and grounds. Appreciated all the kitchen supplies for food prep and the supplies (toiletries, dish soap, etc). Unit is unpleasantly hot for large portions of the daytime whether plantation shudders and small windows are open or closed. The upstairs AC unit was blowing warm air until we discovered a vent on its backside needed adjusting (it was 93 degrees upstairs until 11:30 at night our first night). Overall inefficient cooling of the bedrooms due slatted bedroom doors, and older portable (and noisy) AC units. The place would benefit immensely from central air or at least updated ductless wall units (needed in the living room also). Ran fans continuously, saw at least 2 work trucks installing AC in nearby units during our stay, construction in the adjacent unit daily but they waited until 9 a.m. to start so this did not impact sleep. Would suggest a folding drying rack to allow swimsuits and rash guards to air dry. We skipped the pool after our first dip...it feels heated and not refreshing in summer weather, but the pool area is overall well maintained and empty of people.

Good location, quiet and roomy, pools were fine, the A/C was lacking - okay at night, but unbearable in late afternoon & evening especially in the Livingroom/kitchen. I specifically paid for a place with A/C and was way disappointed with swamp coolers. bread went moldy in 3 days it was so hot! The furniture, stained carpet & fridge are very aged and not so clean. 50% of the dishes & Glasses were not clean, no auto dishwater liquid to use, a few dead bugs & mice droppings on top of refrigerator! Shower door would not close and leaked, I advised the owner of that and few other things, said someone would come by, no one ever did! i feel a bit ripped off.

There is no unit above you so you never hear any neighbors, it was very peaceful and quiet. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. 5 Minute drive to a grocery store. The accommodations were very nice, and the tropical garden setting was almost like paradise. We also appreciated the free pass to the athletic club.The suites are also conveniently located near the beach and the charming small town of Koloa. If there is only one constructive comment we can make, it’s that only the one bedroom had air conditioning. It can get a bit warm, and even humid, on Kauai, so a/c in the living room would have also been greatly appreciated.We will carry the paradise of Kauai in our hearts .

We were on Kauai for a kupuna (senior) softball state tournament; the playing fields were in Hanapepe, so just a short drive away.The unit had easy access for parking and loading and unloading. Loved having the second bathroom just for convenience!The sofa was much more comfortable than the often seen “tropical furniture” that usually serves as decorative only. The bed was comfortable enough; it’s always different when away from home, but not bad at all! Adequate linens, dishes, etc; good ice maker in fridge.The only downside was that the A/C in the bedroom is noisy, but you wouldn’t want to be without it.Overall a great experience and our first with VRBO

We just love this location. Easy walk to Poipu beach and a couple of minutes drive from Shipwreck Beach. We loved them both. Just a few minutes to some decent places to eat and about 30 minutes to many of the activities we participated in. This place worked great for our family of 4 including 2 teenage boys. It was great having access to a full kitchen. We stayed a whole week, so we used it a lot. The pool was also beautiful and refreshing and I love that it overlooks the ocean. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our first time on Kauai and this unit is in a great location! The deck views of the ocean and the sunset were beautiful. The unit was larger and roomier than I thought, and the kitchen was well stocked. The beach toys/gear were plentiful and of good quality. Some of the rooms were hard to cool down with the stand-alone A/C units, but this is typical of the islands in general. Most places do not have central air conditioning. If you want this, you'll probably want a hotel. Overall, my family enjoyed staying in this property.

The unit was immaculate and very close to pools, beach and Puka DogMy only beef is the arrangement with Poipu Athetic Club. This is the workout area and has locker rooms and a nice little restaurant around a pool. It is nice. Problem is you can’t use it on your check-in day if you arrive early and you can’t use it on your checkout day if you have a late flight without paying extra. Someone should fix that. Also, you only get one roll of paper towels and only two coffee filters for a four night stay. We asked for more and we were denied. At the price that should be included in my opinion.

Loved the access to the beaches and pools. House came with beach chairs, wagon, coolers and umbrella which we really appreciated the beach. The upstairs loft was fine for our kids, but is warm and not private. Both showers are a little cramped. The grounds of the area are well kept and beautiful.
