The facility boasts an amazing location and is very close to the beach (1 minute walk). The unit was well stocked with necessities, although we didn't cook in at this unit due to our short stay duration. The unit IS very warm, but there are many fans available and with the right setup everyone was comfortable in the evenings. Great unit for families and we would recommend.

Our family had a wonderful time staying here. Great location, steps from Brennecke’s beach where our boys had a blast boogie boarding. The house is well stocked with kitchen amenities and tons of beach gear. We felt very at home. Beautiful views from the lanais. A few things need some attention: sliding glass door was so difficult to open and close for ventilation and security. Also, we didn’t use the upstairs much because it was so hot at night, being midsummer. The 2 ac units downstairs were great and thankfully there was a queen pull out bed the boys could use instead of the twin beds upstairs, but the separate beds upstairs were one of the reasons I booked here. There is a second pull out downstairs but we couldn’t get it out. So, a few frustrations that are fixable, but a gem of a place otherwise. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

The condo was in a great location. Right next to the pool, easy parking, short walk to the beach. I wish it would have had central air, especially for the kids upstairs. It could benefit from a little updating but overall, it was great and had what we needed for our vacation.

The property is in a perfect location in Poipu Beech for our needs. Snorkels, chairs, boogie boards and even the wagon add to the fun! Highly recommend. Another AC unit for the loft would go a long way although throughout the night the temperature is more than manageable.

Really is the best spot in Poipu Kai with regards to the beach and the pool and the views. With all the air conditioning and fans going and windows open out was a comfortable temperature --the din created by all these appliances could serve as a sound machine.

We arrived after a long flight, HNL/LIH cancelled, a non friendly experience at Dollar Car Rental. To wake up in the condo with a flat tire. After resolved will the car rental, came back to the condo to no hot water. 3 teens, no showers, dishes cleaned or clothes washed. "Someone" told us to go to the Athletic club to shower. (Obviously didn't know our back story). The water heater was replaced after crew spent extra time to find the problem. Hot water the next day! Yay!. Loved the view, beach, sea turtles, monk seals and condo stray cat. We would visit again and suggest Manualoha to friends. In town, Hilo Hatties was not the same. Customer service not great. Food at Brennecks(sp) not great. Aloha spirit seems gone!

Location cannot be beat. Load up the wagon with beach chairs and boogie boards (all provided in the storage closet) and you’re a 3min walk to Brennecke’s Beach and Poipu Beach. We absolutely loved the backyard and my kids spent hours sprinting around. Beds are super comfortable, the loft and 1 bedroom worked great for our family of four. Everything was clean and exactly what we needed. Thank you!!!

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. The view of the ocean and beautiful surroundings from the lanai exceeded our expectations. The short walk to the Poipu area beaches was super convenient. We also enjoyed the condo unit itself. Will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

The place is exactly like the pictures. It was clean and very well stocked. We stopped by and picked up extra paper towels and toilet paper (which was not needed) because that is what we normally have to do with all the VRBO rentals that we have stayed at in the past. Plenty of beach towels and beach accessories (umbrellas and cart) for us to use. It was definitely hot in the unit during our stay even with the two portable ac units. The downstairs bedroom was the coolest room to sleep in. We close the drapes on the first floor during the day to keep the place as cool as we can. The property manager was responsive on some minor concerns that were out of their control… teenagers walking through the private side and staring in and hoping the fence to get into the pool. This place still deserves the 5 stars. Everyone staying at this location was very nice and cordial. The property is well maintained outside as well.

The loft was around 85. If you must have AC blasting then you may not like it. I fully plan on renting this same condo the next time we visit Kauai.

Manualoha 101 is a great condo with amazing views from the unit and the pool. The unit fit our family of five perfectly and the A/C units were really nice to have. We loved being able to walk out to the beach for the gorgeous sunsets. Mahalo nui!

Would definitely go back! This is the best location in the whole Manualoha complex. Beautiful lanai with tons of privacy… even though there was another family living right next door we couldn’t see them from the lanai which is set back. Being on the ground floor is great, we would just walk out the back door and down to the beach…. Be aware that there is no central AC and the loft upstairs bedroom gets hot even with all the fans running. Our teenage kids stayed up there and aren’t as picky but I don’t think I could have handled it. The master bedroom downstairs had good AC though. A great thing is that this unit has a well stocked closet with boogie boards, snorkels, sand toys and more!

the listing is pretty accurate and overall nice stay. pros: really close to the beach. quiet and spacious condo. nice patio and views. cons: wish we didnt have to pay for Poipu Beach Athletic Club but that was not a surprise. internet kept cutting in and out even when we rebooted the router. really needs a new router i think. the amenities are a lacking and could be better. for example, better shampoo/conditioner, a cooler, newer beach chairs. the loft gets hot even w/ fans and portable ac running. i know its the best setup for the space but if you are using that loft in the afternoon from 2-7pm (we were going to sleep early because of jet lag), its a bit uncomfortable. much more comfortable once the sun goes down. the breeze through the condo is really nice if you are home and windows are open for ventilation.
overall, it could use a major renovation, this has been well rented and thoroughly enjoyed. good for the price for location to beach and quietness.

Decent condo in a perfect location for all we wanted to do on Kauai. Beautiful lawn off the back deck, view of the waves, and within walking distance of several beaches, restaurants, and resorts. The AC is two standing units, one in the master and one in the living room which cools the loft where the kids slept. Since they weren't on, it was pretty warm when we first arrived, but the place was comfortable within the hour. The kitchen is a little cramped and there weren't enough utensils for all six of us, which was a little puzzling, but we made due. There were a couple of boogie boards and snorkels which we put to much use. And the pool was a really nice respite if the beach was too crowded or we just wanted a quiet float instead of the pounding surf. I'm not sure about all the units there, but 101 was perfect for us. I'd go back there in a heartbeat.

The location was very good. Our kids bery enjoyed your condo and swimming pool. It was easy to get to many places, and we enjoyed Kauai islands. However, staying without airconditionor was rwallyhard for us. Especially, upper floor was very very hot. The closet smelled bad such as cats pee, and I could not put my close in the chests. Also,.sofabed in the loft was very bad. It was tore up and springs came out. Altogether, it was okay to saty for a family trip.

Overall the condo was great. My only complaint would be the furniture was dated and some of the windows were hard to adjust/open. Since there was no air conditioning, I really wanted to open the larger master window for fresh air and it was corroded shut. Other than that, the condo was great, in a great location, and we would definitely stay there again.

This unit is really in a fantastic location. It's about a 3 minute walk to the beach and has a view of the ocean. It was unclear from the rental description that the second bedroom was up a flight of stairs and has no door. It's kind of a partially enclosed loft with it's own deck. It would have been nice to know that in advance. One small complaint, the toilet in the main bathroom is not properly secured to the floor, it kind of rocks back and forth when you sit down on it, and the paint on the toilet seat is peeling off, which makes it look rather unappealing. Time for a new toilet. Otherwise we had a great stay!

Worked out really well for our group of ladies (7) and 2 kiddos. We unexpectedly added 1 lady and the 2 children to the reservation and they were very accommodating to this reservation change. It was a little tight on space but that was to be expected. We were grateful they allowed us to add extra to the reservation. They were also very prompt to inquiries via phone and email.

We spent a week wir two adults and to children (Boy 13 years, girl 10 years) in this condo to rechter from the ironman. We loved having breakfast outside and heringen the nearby wave of Brenneckes Beach. The short distance to the beaches made it easy to go there more than once a day and the children and we loved to Make some boogie-boarding, snorkeling and watching monk seals and sea turtles. Shopping was nice in Poipu Village and an in Koloa. The property and the location were as well located and comfortable as described and we would recommend this United espacially for families. Only litt Problem was the warm temperature upstairs but the children got used to it quickly.

A fully equipped kitchen as well as all necessary bbq tools. The oceanview pool and the bbq is just steps from the condo. Hello,My family and I stayed in Manualoha #101 in the beautiful Poipu Kai Resort in Poipu Beach. We did lots of research to find the perfect location ahead of time for our stay and Manualaoha #101 did not disappoint. The condo was spacious, clean, and had a gorgeous lanai that opened up to the neighboring green space (this was important to me). I absolutely loved it! The condo was an end unit that was super close to the pool, steps away from the gorgeous beach and was very quiet. The unit had a great slider door that let in the ocean breeze at night, as well as plenty of other windows. It also had large blinds that we kept closed during the day to keep the unit cool-Specifics on rooms: The Master Bedroom had a comfortable Double/Queen Bed with a nice ceiling fan and portable air conditioner unit. The room worked out great for my husband and myself. The upstairs loft was perfect for our kids with two single beds and a pull out futon. There was also a door upstairs that led to a private balcony and let in the cool breeze at night. The upstairs did get a little hot, but cooled down at night with help of portable fans and a ceiling fan. The unit came equipped with beach umbrella's, water shoes, a boogie board and plenty of towels. The kitchen had all the appliances/dishes we needed to cook all of our meals when desired and had a great view of the ocean and green space. We could not have asked for anything better. Manualoha #101 is literally steps away from the beach and super close to everything! The Poipu 365 Staff was helpful and welcoming.

The location was perfect. A few easy steps to the beach, the view from the patio was amazing. The condo itself was comfortable and met all our needs. The kids loved the pool. Only criticism was the linens: no linens for the pull out sofa sleepers in the living room (which were very comfortable); had to ask twice to get both sets. The towels smelled like they were washed and left in the washing machine for a few days before being dried and had that musty smell when they got wet again. It was a very quiet location and all slept really well every night. I would definitely return again.

We enjoyed a fabulous time in Poipu at the Manualoha #101. The location is perfect being right across the street from the ocean and also the condo complex's well kept green grounds and walking path. The condo itself had a bedroom and full ensuite on the main floor with a second bathroom on the main floor and a loft with 2 single beds upstairs which gave our family stay lots of room and space. We enjoyed all the kitchen amenities as it was fully stocked with cookware and dinnerware. We made daily use of the community bbqs which was not far from our unit and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub area daily. The pool by our unit was under renovation and was not available but the other pool was not far. We knew this would be the case before our arrival and it was fine--when the renovations are complete it will be very convenient in proximity to this unit!The one negative was cockroaches. The condo was clean and we made a point of not keeping any food out and keeping the kitchen clean, but we found at least one a day through the condo (in the kitchen, the living room and twice in our bedroom ensuite and on our last day we saw one crawl under our bed!) I presume they are harmless and part of the tropics, but seeing them in the bedroom creeped us out.

What a lovely place to stay! It was such a relaxing vacation. we made good use of the boogie boards and sand toys, and also spent a few afternoons over at the Poipu Kai pool, which has a hot-tub and is a short walk away. Highly recommend making a trip to the Costco (in Lihue). Also recommend running trails north of the grand hyatt. The knives provided in the kitchen were quite dull which made cooking a little challenging, but other than that we had absolutely no complaints and would rent here again!

The rental included WiFi on the property, which did not function. When we called about this, the cable service was unresponsive, and did not get this fixed for the entire week. What was annoying was the frustration of dealing with an ineffective and confused cable service company, plus needing to do this ourselves, rather than the rental firm taking responsibility. As to the rental unit itself, there were some clear signs of wear and tear - banged up woodwork, broken recliner chair, bathroom door which would not close at all - though the space and layout was nice. The cleanliness left a bit to be desired compared with our earlier rental on Maui. I know it's hard to keep sand out of homes, but when we arrived, and dutifully removed our shoes, it was clear that there was already sand in places on the floors before we arrived. I would recommend this unit, mostly based on the nice layout/space it provides, and the great location close to Poipu Beach.

We had a great stay at Manualoha 101. The condo location was prefect - close to the beach, pool and at the end of the street. We had 2 small children and found the loft bedrooms unsafe because of the stairs. Luckily there were 2 pullout sofas on main floor. Some of the appliances need replacin. Overall excellent and I would stay there again.

This was a fantastic condo with a beautiful ocean view over a rolling green lawn. with a very short walk to Poipu Beach. The condo is also well situated next to one of resort swimming pools. Check-in and check-out were easy and seamless. I would highly recommend this property.

Nice location. Could use some updating. Some things were broken (ceiling fan, screen door) but overall decent for the price. Fit for what we needed. Owner was nice and let us check out a little late due to a family emergency. Thank you! Office hours could be better. We wanted to play shuffle board and no directions for where to find the sticks. Office was closed for the weekend so we were never able to play.

This condo has an amazing location to some of the best beaches on the island as well as daily sunsets. The pool located directly beside this building is salt water with more stunning views of the ocean just 200 meters away. We saw whales breaching from our lanai, saw turtles daily at both Brennecke’s and Poipu beaches, as well as several days of monk seals. Our teens thoroughly enjoyed boogey boarding at Brennecke’s and going up to the Poipu Athletic Club to workout. The unit is well stocked with dishes, pots, etc…. They could use a few more forks and a new mattress in the main suite (the springs seem to have been worn out on the edge of the mattress but it didn’t affect my sleep.). Overall excellent condo.

Best location on Kauai, in my opinion! While this is an older complex, the character and location make up for these dated condos. The proximity to the beach, pool, and Kalapaki Joes is the best!

No ac in loft, deceiving sunken living room which lead to a fall. The pictures of the condo are misleading.Suggest getting a different cleaning company. Vicki was very accessible,.Thanks Mark for trying to fix the nest of wires in the loft, the broken toilet seat and the broken pull out sofa and for bringing us toilet paper. The pipe in the cupboard in the dining area needs to be capped off correctly. Lock on lanai door should be fixed. We love Kauai and have stayed at Poipu Kai resort several times but first time with VRBO.

This unit is extremely well appointed. Everything is at your fingertips. The location could not be better and the views in the photos do not do it justice. I would not hesitate to recommend this unit to anyone! Both my 86-year-old mother-in-law and my husband thoroughly enjoyed it as well. If I were to make just two suggestions one would be to add an umbrella for use in the mid day sun on the lower lanai and two to make the PBAC optional. Thanks again for a great albeit short visit!

This condo overlooks Brennecke's and is steps away from the pool. The pool is great. There are lots of pull out couches and a couple of air conditioning units, even though the air flow through the condo is more than enough for those that would rather use the trades. Great condo with one of the best locations in Poipu!

Our little family of 5 with 3 kids (ages 6, 9 & 12) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Manualoha 101. The loft area upstairs was perfect for our children to have their own space to sleep, lounge and play. The property is a corner unit on the quiet side and made for a relaxing stay. The pool was very close and we could easily get to it from the back slider. Even with the June temperatures, we were able to stay cool with the A/C units that were available. There was one in the master bedroom downstairs and another one in the living room which we used to also cool the loft area. The kitchen was well appointed with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, everything you need to make a meal at home. We ordered take out from Brennecke's, had shave ice from there and also enjoyed the beach which was all within a 5-7 minute walking distance.

Property was clean and easy to get to . The beach access and location were second to none. Such a great time we had and enjoyed the unit and the pool was great too with the manicured grass area for sunning.
