We had a wonderful stay! This was a ground floor condo right on the beach. Sugar Beach is a nice beach for long walks in the morning or early evening - enjoyed both. Great location in North Kihea. Great communication with the host... much appreciation for a much needed vacation in Paradise!

We had an amazing stay at Sugar Beach Resort! The unit was very clean and came with a great starter kit of amenities (toilet paper, paper towels, detergent pods, shampoo/conditioner, coffee, spices available, etc). We also loved the beach items available to use - 2 chairs, 2 umbrellas, boogie board, beach towels, beach cooler bag. Loved being right on the beach and fantastic sunset views! We highly recommend the stay and would stay here again.

Everything was very tidy and just as described. Very peaceful and quiet beach setting. View from unit felt private and you are basically a stone’s throw from the water. Very swimmable beach with easy access. It was cool to see the outrigger canoes being paddled each morning.

Our host, Sherry, was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. She checked in with us and went above and beyond to accommodate our early arrival from another island. Once the unit was ready, she allowed us to drop off our luggage so we could settle in and make it to dinner with ease, which we truly appreciated.The unit was exactly as described—very clean, comfortable, and with a wonderful view. For those who choose to use them, the pool, hot tub, sauna, and grill area were a great added bonus. Diane provided excellent communication from 2 weeks before our arrival to when we arrived. The condo has amazing views and we loved the location for both proximity to restaurants and shopping as well as the beautiful beach just steps from the condo. I didn't realize there was a lovely pool and sitting areas which we enjoyed. And we were surprised as how quiet the condo was at night. We had a wonderful stay at this Maui condo. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the AC plus washer/dryer worked perfectly. The beautifully renovated interior and huge kitchen island made it feel both stylish and functional. We loved relaxing on the balcony with a great ocean view and having access to a nice pool and hot tub.Check-in and registration were very easy, and having an elevator and a convenient garbage chute was a big plus. The balcony storage box was stocked with everything needed for beach days—chairs, boogie board, snorkel gear, and kids’ toys. There was also a large closet with plenty of hangers, lots of towels, and ample parking.The location was excellent with easy access to both the north and south shores, and the sandwich shop downstairs was a great bonus. We would absolutely stay here again!

This place was amazing. Communication with owner and property manager was fabulous. The condo was great, amazing view and super comfy bed. Fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs, everything you need for beach fun. Want a fresh pastry for breakfast? Malasadas are a short walk down the beach. Want a cocktail? Go into Dina's on site. Want a great pasta salad or sandwich? Also at Dina's. Hot tub was great. Truly, this place is the best! We will be back!

We had a great stay. The condo was very nice, just steps away from beach access, with all the necessary amenities and a very comfortable bed.The property is very well maintained.The only downside is the roosters, which start crowing at around 3-4a.m. and don’t stop until about 7 a.m., and they can be quite disruptive at night.

This penthouse is a superb location, and is beautifully furnished. It is so very comfortable, isn’t that what a vacation is about? Overlook the beach and ocean and watch the sunsets and the paddlers going out from the nearby club. Comfortable beds, bedding, couches, and everything you could think of…outdoor dining table, indoor dining table, coolers, beach chairs, laundry, it’s really terrific. Ride the elevator and steps to the pool, hot tub, grills, and beachside chairs, Unfortunately and this is 100% my fault, I did not read the fine print and the per night price posted does not include all the additional charges. So for our three night stay, it was indeed too good to be true and the additional fees (management, service, cleaning, taxes, etc.) pretty much doubled the price for our stay. Again, my bad for seeing a truly gorgeous property and not paying more attention to the full price. Highly recommend; management company is top notch and meets and greets you when you arrive; responds to queries of any sort immediately; provided helpful suggestions and tourist tips. Peek over the balcony and the “Aloha” in the landscaping is right there.

We found the condo to be a perfect location for everything we were looking to explore. Not to mention the view from our penthouse was amazing and we could get to the beach in minutes. The condo size was a perfect situation for just my husband and I but for the price, I was not expecting to have to furnish basic necessities like trash bags (there was only one when we arrived for our 10-day stay), laundry detergent (we did some great hikes that were pretty muddy so this was handy to have), etc. It was a busy place though with the hot tub and pool and chairs busy most times of the day.

This is a wonderful property. There was plenty of room for the two of us and the bed was very comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower. We loved that we could walk out the door, cross the lawn and be on the beach. Sugar Beach itself is stunning, with beautiful gentle waves and sand stretching in both directions. Joan, our Host, was wonderful. Her communication, directions, and follow up were excellent. There is a beautiful swimming pool that we enjoyed and a cafe/bar near the pool. We will stay here again when we return to Maui.
