From checking in, to our last day, everything was perfect! The condo is exceptionally clean, kitchen has everything you could need, and the bed very comfortable. The fantastic view from the lanai was my favorite. Morning coffee, breakfast, and evening refreshments were enjoyed while watching the whales. Oh, and the welcoming bottle of wine when we arrived was much appreciated!

Fully equipped condo had absolutely every thing we could need for our arrival. Good location to pool Some foot traffic all day long right in front but quiet. We did hear the parking lot noise some and of course the Roosters woke us up early. It’s like a train you eventually don’t hear them. Very comfy bed we both thought it was one of the better ones for a Vrbo we have slept in. Such cute decorations too! We met a lot of very nice people who have come there for years and years to the same condos/ this was our first time there. Hot tub was very popular at the end of the day and sight seeing. A lot of little kids/babies during the time frame we were there, Beach equipment in closet including ice chest came in handy for our long drives. Location not walking distance to restaurants but they are a short drive. Very close to the marina and whale watching trips. Saw a few whales in the distance. My favorite thing is this resort is right on the beach and long enough for a good walk daily

We had a great stay at Sugar Beach Resort. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable as well and slept well. We were close to a lot of activities and places to eat. The diner onsite was a nice place to get food and drink. Enjoyed our mornings sitting out on the lanai eating breakfast or just enjoying the view. Could occasionally see whales out in front of the condo area. Took several walks on the beach and enjoyed sitting in the lounge chairs out near the water as well. Would definitely recommend staying here when in Maui and would definitely come back ourselves.

Prettiest condo we've stayed at in Hawaii. The view was extraordinary. We watched whales everyday. Host was excellent to work with. It was clean and had everything we needed. Easy walk to the ABC store, small farmer's market, and a bakery. A chaise lounge chair would be good to add to the lanai and a TV in the bedroom but otherwise perfection! We would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful stay! So peaceful and relaxing! We used the natural sounds of the waves as our nightly sound machine! Sunsets are incredible and we saw them from our lanai! I would recommend this stay to everyone! Watched whales all day and lots of adult and babies, so fun watching learning to be a whale!! They were just right past the various boats tied offshore! Our stay at this unit was perfect. Having stayed at Sugar Beach Resort a couple times, we cannot imagine a better location to enjoy Maui. The beach was incredible for our daily walks. Walking on Sugar Beach each day was wonderful. The central location is perfect for drives to many sights (Hana, Haleakala, many hidden beaches, wonderful restaurants), whale watching (from shore and tours), and just walking on the long beach right at the doorstep. The stay was enhanced by the host actively communicating through our booking, planning, arrival, and visit to Maui. Her assistance and suggestions before and during our visit was appreciated. She has the condo very well stocked with appliances, basic household supplies, and many other things not expected in rentals. We were immediately at home with all we needed. This made is so easy for us to live on Maui for the month of our stay.The lanai view is amazing with great sunrise views and a shaded lanai in the afternoon. Sunsets on the beach are equally incredible and only steps away. Having Dina's Sand Witch onsite for a local bar was a positive for us also.We will keep this Sugar Beach unit on our list of places to stay again. We also will recommend this specific rental and host to our friends looking for their own Maui Magic escape. For anyone looking for a rental on Maui, this one should be on your short list!

The view from this condo was incredible. We saw whales and had incredible sunsets without having to go anywhere. It was so nice to have direct access to Sugar Beach-to take walks, enjoy the view and sit and soak it in. The coolers, towels and chairs were very handy and much appreciated. We also liked the convenience of Dina's Sandwitches on site - great food. Would love to see a few more upgrades to the place like a new microwave and more/new glasses, silverware & kitchen supplies.

What a view!!! Can't get any closer to the ocean. Saw many whales from the balcony in the distance - bring binoculars! We arrived an hour early with cold groceries and we were allowed to enter the apartment anyway. Great!We found a very clean and beautiful place with a gorgeous view.and lots of extras, like beach towels, beach chairs, a vacuum cleaner, and cleaning supplies. It is on walking distance of a popular bakery that opens at 6:00 am.

This is a very nice condo. The unit has been updated and all of the appliances and furniture are high quality. The view from the lanai is amazing. The condo complex is in a great area, close to shopping and restaurants but fare enough away to be quiet. The heated saltwater pool is very nice. Our only complaint was that the unit was not well prepared for our arrival. There were towels in the dryer to be folded, dishes in the dishwasher to be put away, and hair in the bathroom to be cleaned up. The basic necessities were sparse, just 1/4 roll of toilet paper, no hand soap, no garbage bags. I would still recommend this very nice condo but I hope that the cleaning staff will do a better job in the future

We encountered a minor issue upon arrival, but the host addressed it immediately, and the rest of our stay was flawless. This condo is well-appointed, comfortable, and the location is ideal for sunsets, relaxation, and quiet. We have stayed at this resort several times and have found this to be our favorite condo so far. We were distracted only by whales from the lanai as we worked at the table (it was a working vacation). We would love to return to this condo in the future.

Everything was excellent! The complex is nice with a great pool and hot tub. A wonderful view of the beach from our balcony where we could spot whales. You can walk a long way down the beach from the complex. It is nice having the beach chairs, umbrella, coolers as well. We had everything we needed. The restaurant at the complex was good as well.

Where do I even start? The unit is spotless, modern and has everything you need for your stay, including beach chairs, boogie boards, and a perfect view of the ocean for sunsets! The kitchen was well stocked and had things like spices, oil and vinegar, and foil which were great to not have to purchase. The hosts were the best, helpful and accommodating hosts I’ve ever dealt with on VRBO! They really helped us out with our arrival and checkout times when the airline changed our flight times. And they were super responsive both prior and during our stay when we had a few questions. They even gave us a sweet welcome basket of helpful things and treats. The space was just what my son, husband and I needed for a break after a hectic year. We are grateful for our opportunity to stay there and truly hope to return and book their unit again. Mahalo!
