Everything about our stay in this condo was fantastic!! The condo is beautiful and was extremely clean upon arrival. The location is amazing with an easy walk right across the street to the beautiful Charlie Young beach as well as very short walks to restaurants and shopping! We came here for a mother daughter trip and our expectations were exceeded!! I would 1000% stay here again, as a matter of fact I am thinking about returning next year for my mother/son trip! If I HAD to point out a negative, the ONLY thing I could say is that the shower head could use replacing but that was so minor and it is in no way a deterrent!!

The condo is in need of an update. The photos are taken at wide angle and must be retouched to make it look much larger and cleaner with better lighting than what is there. The location was fabulous! The door lock was a joke. A small pin lock and only a doorknob lock. Everything in the condo was in working order, stove, fridge, washer-dryer. It was helpful to have all kitchen utensils and beach chairs! Again can't beat the short walk to the beach.

This unit is located in building 1, which to me is the most desirable due to proximity to the beach, shops, and restaurants!! I would highly suggest staying here while in Kihei and would definitely stay here again!!

Amazing location! Unit had everything I needed and even better had AC is both the living room and bedroom! I was comfortable and clean! It’s located in Building 1 in Maui Vista which to me is the most desirable bc of access to the beach, walking to restaurants, etc! I gave this property 3 stars for a few reasons. Although the condo appeared to be surfaced cleaned, there was visible built-up dirt on the walls, door jambs, and around door handles from long-term use and dirty handprints. The bottom of the bathtub was dirty and needed scrubbing with an abrasive cleaner due to visible grime from foot traffic.The bath mats were extremely thin, worn, and did not appear freshly laundered, so we did not use them and instead used towels. The bed was only fair, and the fitted sheet did not fit properly, coming loose from the mattress every night. The bedding, pillows, towels, and face cloths are all overdue for replacement.The air conditioning unit was sealed with cardboard, which looks like a long-standing temporary fix rather than a recent repair, as cobwebs were present. The dryer venting also needs attention — after running a wash, the condo became very hot and humid which the AC could not keep up with. The kitchen was well equipped and was the strongest feature of the unit. The location is excellent, and the Maui Vista grounds and pool area are very well maintained. Unfortunately, while this unit may once have been a good rental, it now feels neglected and in need of basic maintenance and updating.

the unit is older, but excellent location. the Beach is just across the street. And it has just an older window AC, so I imagine the summer can be too warm, espically upstair. In addtion, the twin beds upstair could use a better box frame. Thanks

This is the perfect spot for my wife and I. Close to the beach, the unit is well kept, and the property itself is very nice. Swimming pools, pickleball and tennis courts, a lush scenery complete the experience. The unit is well stocked with with all the basics and more. The host is great. Very easy check in, convenient to all locations, clean, SUPER comfortable bed and couches. The kitchen had everything we would need and found the small binoculars in the drawer under the microwave!! a win for looking at whales :) There is a washer/dryer combo. I was a bit confused about that in the listing so that was a plus! Would definitely book again

Really enjoyed our stay perfect spot with semi private garden back yard just steps away to the pool so we dipped swam then walked back to our place to lay out in the sun and relaxed! There’s everything you need to head down the the beach! Chairs coolers towel snorkeling equipment! Sorry bring your own surf board!But there is a board rental with lessons if you choose right next door.

The hosts were excellent in communication. The view is fantastic. The condo’s location is within easy walking distance to restaurants and beaches. Beds are comfortable. Air conditioning in all of the rooms works well. We wish the lanai had been bigger and less road noise. That being said, I would stay here again.

The host was very helpful with all of her notes and suggestions about the area. The location was great for all the sites on the island. It was close to everything. There were a few things that needed fixed but they were not major at all. I would recommend this place to anyone staying on Maui. The beaches were very good in this area.

Need new bar chairs and table on deck( can’t see over railing) we are deck users. Also umbrella would be good as to hot by 4 pm to use deck , get rid of old bench.Air conditioner in bedroom is too noisy to run.Need to change out the old chair in living room, not comfortable. If you have kids, this condo is one of the best locations in kihei. Easy walking distance to a great kids beach, huge playground and park, surf cove and many stores. The location of 1421 in building 1 is great, it’s off to the side, so not alot of road noise, but still a peek a boo view to the ocean. Bonus that you can actually see the wave break in the cove from the deck, so if you are a surfer it’s easy to check on conditions. Condo itself is great. Obviously it’s not going to be in new condition as it is a vacation rental, but it worked great for us and was well stocked with everything we needed. Again though, location. With kids, it’s Absolutley ideal.
