This property was absolutely wonderful. It was beautiful and the pics do not do it justice. Every morning we would watch the surfers and it is so convenient to everywhere we wanted to be. Host was perfect and responded within minutes. Had no problems! Don’t pass this one up!!! Total gem.

This place is magical. Every day we saw new sea life from the balcony - manta rays, sea turtle, tons of Yellow Tang, Triggerfish, Needlefish, Moorish Idols, Pufferfish, and more. The location is fantastic, close to downtown Kona and multiple markets within walking distance or a short drive. The condo itself is fantastic. Beds and furniture was all comfortable, which is always one of my biggest worries. All the amenities you need are there and in great condition. Communication was great and expectations were clear. We can’t wait to visit again!

This is the most spectacular view I’ve ever had in a vacation home! The ocean view from the balcony, living room, and master bedroom are jaw dropping— the photos do not do it justice. It was endlessly entertaining to watch the surfers from sunrise to sunset from the balcony. The sound of the waves made for the best sleep ever. Very comfortable living space and dining space for two adults and two teenagers. Kitchen had everything we needed including coffee machine and filters. (I do wish we had lucked into somebody leaving behind olive oil.) the kids bedroom was spacious and comfortable , but no view. The master bed is also extremely comfortable. It is separated from the living room by Japanese screens, so just note that privacy is limited – no lock, and not soundproof. Comfortable bathrooms. Extremely well located to stores and restaurants. Especially loved Krua Thai. About 30 minute drive to two step beach, which was our favorite place to snorkel.This was the perfect place to stay for us!!!

Aloha ,We had the most wonderful stay at the Banyan Tree Condo. It is often said that location is everything and this was the absolute perfect location. We sat every morning on the deck and watched the surfers while drinking our coffee. We listened to the ocean every night while falling asleep, which was amazing. The condominium is so well stocked with all essentials. It made our life so much easier. There were even chairs to take to the beach. We felt at home with all the beautiful decorations appropriate for Hawaii. This will be a trip that will stay in our hearts forever thanks in part to our wonderful accommodations. Dawn is an amazing host and we appreciate your attention to detail. Mahalo for the experience of a lifetime.

Our experience was outstanding. We found ourselves mesmerizing by watching the waves crashing outside our lanai and the surfers that gathered starting at 6 am. There were four of us, my husband and me, and our adult children. The layout of the condo allowed privacy for both couples. The host was very responsive and generous by supplying staples for our stay, such as laundry supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc. The condo location was convenient to restaurants, shopping, and the airport. All were within 30 minutes. Our trip was to celebrate milestone birthdays for both me and my husband. Our host knew this and we arrived she had fresh flowers and a birthday balloon to welcome us. Our stay in Kona was truly memorable. Thank you, Dana.

Our stay here was about as wonderful as we could have wanted. The view was to die for, and the surfers provided a show every single day while we were out on the lanai. The layout of the condo and the convenience of parking and an elevator so close were really appreciated for our older bones. We sure hope to be back!

Just a couple of things, for 4 people staying 10 days we just needed more paper products, like toilet paper and paper towels. The lanai is not usable when your are running the mini split as the exhaust is blows right where your sitting. Other than that it was great

This condo was amazing. It’s so close to the water that you can see colorful fish swimming in the ocean below. We enjoyed watching the many surfers right outside our balcony everyday. Accommodations were great. Beds were comfy, showers great, and it was nice to have beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels and coolers available to use. When shopping, you have to bring your own bags and there were plenty available to use in the condo. We have nothing but positive things to say about this place!

Everything about the unit as accurate and great. There are two things I would add. Great views watching people surfing all day long. The one draw back was the noise from the park next to the building. People gathering, drinking and talking-yelling loud after 10pm. The windows are not thick so outside noise was clear and unfiltered.

We had a very comfortable stay. There was everything that we needed - the kitchen is stocked with plates, glasses, silverware, pots and pans. The ice maker wasn't working, but there were ice trays in the freezer already filled. Plenty of towels, blankets , pillows beach towels, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. There is a closet in the 2nd bedroom filled with swimming toys, beach chairs, cooler, snorkeling gear. The king bed in the master bedroom is firm but quite comfortable. Note the bed is quite high to crawl into, but there is a bench at the foot of the bed or a stool under the side table if you are short like me! But, the best part of the condo is the lanai. The view is amazing! And we had fun watching the surfers.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. We took in the whole island, and the location was perfect. It was very relaxing sotting on the couch or lanai watching the surfers after being out all day. We didn’t use any cookware, so I can’t speak to that, but the cups, plates and silverware were all plentiful which we appreciated. We would 100% stay here again.

View was fantastic. Watched surfers each morning. Convenient to have parking, laundry, and pool. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, coffee maker, etc. Really thoughtful to provide beach towels, body boards, etc. Few minor issues: carpet stains, dishwasher panel kept falling off, one door to lanai did not lock. Some trouble reaching the property manager when we first arrived and couldn't unlock the main door.

We had a great stay. The property was as advertised. Great views with some amazing sunsets. Never stayed this close to the water before. The only drawback is that if you are looking for a beach that is only steps away, this might not be the location for you. The property was quiet during quiet hours. Our host, Dawn, was very responsive. We never did have to contact her with any issues in the condo.The grounds, property, and condo were very, very clean. The extras included in the unit were nice: soap, shampoo, full-size washer and dryer. The kitchen was very well stocked. Beds were very nice.We would stay here again.

Everything was as described. Lots of stuff for a beach day. Snorkeling gear, fins, umbrella, cooler, 2 boogie boards, chairs. What a great find. Stop at costco and you will never have to leave the lanai. The most amazing sunsets. Watch for the green flash finale as the orange ball sinks into the pacific. Pool is super clean and private. We just used the ac in the bedrooms because there was nice ocean breezes and the sound of the surf.

Can't say enough great things about this place! Located right on the water with a great view of all the surfers! Best stocked vacation rental that we've ever stayed in - there are beach towels, a cooler, a beach umbrella, even snorkel gear!! Beds are very comfortable, easy check in, plenty of towels, extra pillows and linens. Fold out beds in living room were perfect and comfortable for our 2 teens. Fall asleep to the waves crashing and wake up to breakfast and coffee on the large balcony. Can't wait to come back! Would highly recommend!

The views are all they’re made out to be and more! Spacious, comfy, smartly equipped and so convenient. We loved the lanai, the thoughtful room partition, and the kitchen with spices and seasonings on hand (as well as coffee—bless you for that). We walked to nearby beaches, food trucks, and markets. Downtown Kailua Kona was a short drive away. Location was wonderful!PRO TIP: Don’t use Google Maps. We learned the hard way that it is not the most trustworthy map service for locating the property, as well as other attractions on Kona side. Lesson learned!Will most certainly have to book this gem again!

This condo is located just 2 miles from downtown Kona. Condo was very clean, well stocked, in fact it was the best stocked condo I have ever rented in the 30 yrs I have been traveling! The owner responds very quickly if needed. She even gave me some ideas for beaches near Kona and answered any question related to the area or the island. The oceanfront view is amazing.

Good grief…where to start. Russ is an amazing host. Incredibly accommodating and responsive. The condo is all it’s cracked up to be: clean, light, quiet, great location, cool, well appropriated. We wanted for nothing (except spoons…lol). We walked to the fruit market nearby and ate fresh mangoes and cucumbers while looking at the ocean at our feet.
