The small Banyan Tree condo complex is located midway between Kailua Kona and Keauhou. The Banyan Tree is a small, well-kept complex with only 20 units so it never feels crowded. The property is located as close as you can get to the Pacific Ocean. In fact new construction is no longer allowed to be as close to the ocean as Banyan Tree. Downtown Kona, with galleries and shops is less than three miles. Alii drive, which is great for ocean walks, is right out the back door. Ready for the beach? Magic Sands Beach is less than a mile away. Kahalu'u Beach is only two miles and has easy snorkeling where you can get up-close to beautiful reefs and abundant sea life. It's also a perfect place to learn to surf. Postcard perfect beaches such as Hapuna Beach and Kua Bay are to the north and Kealakekua Bay State Historical Park and Captain Cooks monument lie to the south. Since Banyan Tree is located about halfway up the coast you can drive to either end of the island in about 30 minutes. When you're done just park in your designated parking stall and take the elevator steps away to your retreat!
