Unit is a little dated but has all the necessities! Communication with the owner was excellent and he was very accommodating to a last minute change to my stay dates. The housekeeping was not up to standards - dried coffee spills on the kitchen counters and a stopped up sink in one bathroom. There were some cleaning products on hand and after a 30 minute wipe down of the counters and bathrooms I was able to relax. Would return to this unit again.

The unit was clean, updated, and full of everything you need on vacation. Waking up every morning to the sound of the ocean while surfers rode waves nearby was something we'll never forget. The location is super convenient, and we made many a trip across the street for drinks and snacks at the market. Of all the amazing food we had on the island, Da Poke Shack was our favorite. Maybe we are biased because it's literally right next door, but we made three trips! We mostly had the pool to ourselves and really enjoyed spending a few "happy hours" there.

The perfect small quiet condo complex, a few miles from Kailua-Kona. Pristine views of ocean, great pool and common areas. Covered parking easy to get in and out of garage. Secure elevator. 2 bedroom and 2 bath. We were there in March and did not need a/c. But there is 1 small unit in living space above lanai doors. Very comfortable and clean and great for 4 people. The little convenience store across the street is great!! We will be back! Thank you Bob!

We spent 10 days and loved every minute at this property. It’s a perfect location for exploring North or South and centrally located for beaches and shops. If you’re looking to hunker down, the sunsets come to you every day.

You will never tire of sitting on the lanai every morning with your cup of coffee watching the surfers and the fish in the waves as they roll in. The location is far enough from the hustle ans bustle but close to the beaches and the night life. To say the condo was well stocked with the things you need to make a meal is an understatement. It was a joy not to have to purchase every little thing you might need to make a meal. And the toy closet!!! So much beach and swim and snorkel items to mention. This is a great place to visit and to re-visit!

Great views of the ocean and surfers from the 4th floor penthouse. Comfortable, clean accommodations. A good location, not right in the middle of the busy and noisy main shopping area of Kailua-Kona.

Everything about Bob’s place is fantastic - the clean, spacious rooms, the amazing view from both main room and sleeping area, closet stocked with useful snorkel gear, and perfect location in Kona made for a wonderful 25th anniversary trip. He was quick to respond with questions, and it’s a much better deal than a getting a tiny, overpriced hotel room. Thank you Bob!

We had the pleasure of staying at bob’s Kona condo. It was such a lovely experience. Bob was super communicative and helpful. The condo was perfect for our family!! We enjoyed sitting on the lanai eating dinner, watching the historic waves, and enjoying the beautiful sunset!!

This property was great! Absolutely beautiful views of the ocean. We loved watching the surfers every morning. Very close to downtown shops and restaurants. The condo had absolutely everything we needed. It was very nice to have beach chairs and umbrella. Very clean and organized. Loved the book of recommendations for restaurants. We had an absolutely wonderful week of vacation. Only wish we could stay longer!

Truly wonderful unit. The view was stunning and felt so very private for the islands. It was wonderful place to listen to the waves crashing all night and then wake up and watch surfers in the morning. Each minute we were in the unit we enjoyed our vacation experience.

This property is well located to restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed much of our time sitting on the lanai experiencing the ocean and beautiful sunsets. It delivered for what was advertised and was a very comfortable stay for two couples.

Very adequate condo. We were 2 couples, friends, so we utilized both bedrooms and bathrooms. Loved hearing the waves crashing on the shore all night long. Bob was excellent with communication and we did not experience any issues. Kitchen was fine, although we chose to eat out every day. It should be noted that neither bathroom is on-suite. A bit lacking in privacy. The bedroom lacks good ventilation, so can be stuffy at night, as the air conditioner unit is not located there. We enjoyed the hot tub and saw turtles at the nearby beach. The condo supplies a beach umbrella and beach chairs and 3 boogie boards- very nice! Snorkels leaked, so were unusable. We had a wonderful and relaxing vacation on the Big Island!

We were cautious as there had been a tremendous storm days before our arrival but all went well. The condo is quiet and well located. The sliding partition was ideal to provide air flow throughout the main area in the evening. The property was generously stocked with beach chairs, etc that were much appreciated. We didn't use the pool due to being busy ocean swimming but it looked nice. Regrettably the hot tub was in need of attention so we gave it a pass. Beds and furniture are comfortable and nothing was lacking. Would definitely recommend.

This condo has everything you could possibly want to enjoy your stay on the Big Island! We stayed for eight days and enjoyed seeing the amazing sunsets, sea turtles and surfers right from the lanai. Our daughter spent hours in the pool while we relaxed. The condo is just as described, with everything you’d need to enjoy your stay. The mini market across the street was very convenient. The park next to the building offered a lot of local flavor. It was also great working with Bob, the owner, as he was very responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend renting directly from the owner vs property management company. Again, the view was outstanding and couldn’t have been more pleased with the entire experience.

Awesome condo - the view is fabulous, location is very convenient, and the condo is beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here while honeymooning. The condo is well equipped for cooking and outdoor activities, we particularly enjoyed having beach chairs and beach towels to use during our stay. They also have boogie boards and snorkel gear. This is a place we plan to return to on future visits.

Overall: Good experience, good location, happy stay
Cleanliness: Space felt clean, but there was a little dust buildup on the ceiling fans and A/C units
Accuracy: The overhead A/C unit is only in the master bedroom which we weren't aware of until arriving. Smaller of the two bedrooms needed two portable A/C units and the ceiling fan to make due. Other than that it was generally very accurate in comparison to the pictures and description.
Location: Close to Kona and Kahalu'u by car but not ideal for walking/strolling around.
Communication: Bob communicated well. Effective and thorough communicator, answered all of my questions. Didn't feel very warm though, however never rude just to be clear. Felt like a business.

Overall, this is a great property. Every morning I enjoyed coffee on the porch and watched the surfers. The waves are soothing. The property, as a whole is nice and quiet. The unit is outfitted nicely and we had what we needed. The A/C was a must for us, it was quite hot in August. The front bedroom didn't benefit much from the A/C, and they were uncomfortable at night. We did use fans to blow some air from the hallway into them, which helped. The sunsets are gorgeous. The pool is lovely and the view of the ocean is magnificent. The hot tub was also great and I used that a few times after long hard hikes to unwind. You can walk across the street to get a necessity, or drive to Walmart/Safeway/Costco for more. We enjoyed cooking most of our meals here, taking sandwiches to go for a day at the beach. Owners are nice and have thought of many things to make the stay very pleasant.

The property has an amazing view and great location! It’s only 0.9 miles walk from yellow sand beach . You can watch best sunsets from balcony high overlooking the ocean. I would stay there again!

We booked our stay here and had to change it twice due to Covid. Bob was very kind and changed our booking for the four of us and it was a beautiful view(as everyone says) outside the end of his condo. There were some issues with the large ceiling fans and space fans not working in the back bedroom so we had to use the air conditioning to keep it cool at times. It also needs some minor repairs and a few more kitchen pots to cook in since we cooked many meals due to restaurants being closed during Covid. It DOES HAVE A KILLER VIEW!! And we enjoyed watching the surfing, sunsets, and eating on the small balcony. Bob said he would fix the items but at that point, we had figured out how to monitor the sea breezes and air conditioner so we were fine . Overall, it just needs some TLC. We had a nice time, there!

The unit had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living area looked directly out onto the water with surfers, and all sorts of water sports. We could watch the fish in the water, listen to the waves and see the boats stop to watch the spinner dolphins.
We were able to cook in the well stocked kitchen and there was a washer/dryer so we didn’t need to pack so many clothes.
As with any property in Hawaii it needs to have the owner’s constant attention to deterioration but thankfully it’s their problem not the renters.
In all we really appreciated this property.
