My family and I really enjoyed our stay here and our week in South Maui. The location was perfect for us. Just outside the busy areas of Kihei but only a short drive to everything. The unit was as advertised and thoughtfully stocked with everything you would expect and more. The adjacent small beach and sea turtle resting area were amazing. Grassy areas were perfect for our boys to throw the football around. Overall, I would highly recommend this rental.

We had a wonderful stay at Jenn’s unit on our first trip to Maui. The apartment is located on the top floor of a 6 floor building with a balcony facing south west overlooking the ocean. The apartment is well equipped with pretty much everything you could need to make the place feel like home. The kitchen has all you need to make meals at home and the communal bbq on the rooftop adds additional cooking and dining options if you want to eat your meal outside. We found both beach chairs, beach towels and some beach toys that we could use while there which was a big bonus!
The small beach right below the apartment complex was perfect for both our kids (aged 6 and 9) as well as the grannies that came with us on the trip. It was enclosed by a rock wall and the water was shallow enough for all of them to wade into without risk of being toppled over by any waves. It is also a resting ground for local sea turtles which allowed us all to watch them up close!
Additionally the unit is only a 20 min drive from the Kahului airport, close to restaurants in Kihei and not a far drive from Wailea where the fancy resorts and restaurants are located. We would often drive to a new beach every day to try out different spots for snorkeling and would be close enough that we could still return home after lunch and spend the afternoon down at the beach below the unit if we wanted more beach time.
All in all we had a wonderful stay and would love to return one day!

The unit was clean and well stocked.
This was a great jumping-off point for exploring the island.
I was surprised by how loud S Kihei Rd is. We could hear traffic from balcony and open windows, and it was as loud as the ocean waves.
We were able see the Grand Wailea New Year’s Eve fireworks from the back bedroom windows. The view was partially obscured, but better than I’d expect given the distance.

We could not have happier with this Condo. The sunset views were out of this world! The beaches in front of us were beautiful and we were able to take mile long walks in either direction. The kitchen was completely stocked which made it easy to fix bfast and dinner. It was clean, quiet and air conditioned - our three prerequisites for a rental. We’ve found a go to rental on Maui. If only we could have stayed a bit longer.

We've stayed at Menehune many times and this, by far, has been the spot with the best view. There was foot traffic being on the first floor, but that didn't bother us. Plus it was much more convenient to reach the beach/pool/BBQ's/etc. The sunsets were amazing. Uma was wonderful and responsive. We will be back. :)

We loved this unit I was hesitant to stay in Kihei as it feels like a city and not remote like west Maui where I have gone for 30yrs. We decided due to fires to try this location. This condo was the best trip we have had. Owner has it stocked with everything you need to enjoy the beach chairs, umbrella, noodles,beach towels, coolers. The unit is ocean front with view of the huge turtles all day laying on the rocks in from. Now to the ocean access right outside the unit is a lagoon with sand bottom and easy for anyone to enjoy the water. There is an Indian restaurant downstairs that was wonderful as well.

Just returned from our stay in Maui and this property was absolutely perfect for our family. The water views were picture perfect. We saw whales and sea turtles almost everyday. The beach was steps away and relatively shallow so any water activities were easy to do. I highly recommend staying for sunset each night if you can because it is like no other view you will see. You feel like you’re at the edge of the world. We will definitely be back!

The Speth's Hawaiian home on Maui doesn't disappoint. The first week of our 40 year-in-the-making Hawaiian vacation was everything we wanted and more. There was plenty of room for our six adults to spread out and never be on top of one another. We spents hours every day on the lanai enjoying the spectacular views. We could certainly tell the Speths actually use their home, as it was not missing anything our family needed all week. Jim's emails were packed full of info that was greatly appreciated. The photos for this listing do not do this condo justice. I was worried that the ground-level view would be somewhat obstructed by the rock wall or hedges in front but it is absolutely not. This place was so perfect for our family of three adult couples. Each bedroom was separate from the others making for private spaces for everyone. Yet we could come together in the living and dining areas, as well as the lanai, with plenty of seating for all six of us. The master bedroom had its own very spacious bathroom, and the second bathroom was very spacious as well. Both showers are large. I could go on and on about how great this unit is. There are three beaches and a pool just steps from the lanai. And turtles! So many. We didn’t eat at the on-site restaurant but it was nice to know we could walk 50 steps to eat or drink if needed. Highly recommend!

The rooms and property are clean and well maintained. Being towards the North end of Kihei means there is good access to everything on the island most anyone will be looking to see. There is the Monsoon Grill on the property, but most of places we went to eat were in Central Kihei which is 1-2 miles south. Although parked out of sight, it was nice to find the vacuum and swifter. There is no way to keep sand out and we found it useful to run these quickly around to keep the grit out from underfoot. Overall, a this is nice unit at a fair price.

The sand toys and boogie boards were so nice to have at the condo for our kids, and the water in the lagoon was calm and safe for our kids. When we walked into the condo, all we saw was the gorgeous ocean view! We sat on the balcony several times during the week and just enjoyed the ocean, the islands, and the rainbows. I especially liked that it had a pool and a beach. We used both. The condo is well-equipped with beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and cooler with refreezable ice packs. The condo was conveniently located to explore the islands. 15 -30 most places. Maybe 45 to the Lahaina area. And lastly, the turtles! The beach is beside a marine science place. They’ve built a jetty and the large turtles come in to rest. You have to stay outside the posts and 10 feet away, but you can definitely see them as they sleep on the rocks!

We loved this property! Far enough away from the busy Kihei area to not feel overloaded but close enough to just jump in the car to grab something to eat. We loved the view from the balcony and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves every night. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was very well stocked, and we appreciated the beach chairs and coolers for our use. We didn't really use the pool much, but it was a nice size and offered great views as well. We didn't use the second bedroom because it was just my husband and me, but I could see this unit being perfect for a family with kids. If you have young children this condo is located near Kalepolepo Fishpond which is easily the best beach on Maui for toddlers. Plus, you can find sea turtles resting on the rocks there, which is amazing! The master bedroom does get a bit warm, but there are fans to help cool you off. If you leave the windows open at night, you will start to hear traffic around 5 am, so we kept them closed. The pull-out bed is very uncomfortable, but we used several comforters provided to cushion the springs to make it usable. The floors could use a good mop, as our feet were pretty dirty if we walked around barefoot, but overall the condo was nice. The parking spots are insanely small, which caused some anxiety as I'm pretty sure the rental car got a few new door dings, but nothing major. Overall, the positives outweighed any negatives and we would definitely stay here again.

Location was great - next to a small sandy beach and large ancient fish pond. Lovely protected and safe area for salt water swimming, toddlers splashing, and for observing the giant sea turtles. Easy access to beach (lovely morning walks), and nearby public park with tennis and pickleball courts.
The structure was built in 1976. Unit was as described, with many elements updated. Kitchen was well equipped, though a tight space. A few things needed attention - the property manager was responsive and friendly. The layout of the 3 bedrooms was good, though the actual living space felt a bit cramped for 4 adults and 2 teens. The listing was clear that there’s no AC. Would have been a welcome option for a couple of the nights as the unit directly faces the afternoon sun.
The building’s small pool was cold (waiting for replacement parts). No hot tub. But the building’s rooftop, with grills and picnic tables, provided an amazing open space for watching sunsets or star gazing.
Communication with the owner was best we’ve had with VRBO.

The location was excellent with access to all shops and amenities just a short drive away and many beaches or parks within 5 to 10 minute walk.

We found the unit just as described on Vrbo. Well equipped and you could not beat the oceanfront views. Just a few steps away from the elevator, and from the pool and the beach access. Loved hearing the waves. Enjoyed the beach towels, beach chairs, and cooler provided. The bed was comfy. Our host was accessible when needed. I would recommend! Not to complain, but on a wish list would be single serve coffee maker.

The good: There's a turtle resting wall right out front that's great for viewing turtles. The beach is nice and quiet. The view from the balcony is great. The rooftop and grills are also fantastic. Updated appliances and nice living space.
The bad: One shower was not working entirely and the other had a drain problem. They were able to fix the drain problem but the guest shower was out of order for our full stay. The carpets in the bedrooms need replacing. There also underwear on the floor in the master left behind from a prior guest, makes me question the cleaning depth.

We’ve stayed at Menehune Shores during our previous visit and this rental had everything we needed. Really enjoyed staying on the first floor and being able to walk out easily to the beach, go see the turtles who rest on the rock wall, watch the sunset, head to the pool (not heated and was too cool for us), or go to the BBQs. The unit was stocked perfectly with no shortage of everyday items like washer pods, dishwasher tabs, soap, garbage bags, etc. Loved that there was beach gear available for us to use. There is no umbrella but Boss Frogs has everything else you need for a very affordable price. The unit was very well kept and clean. Also try the restaurant! Great food.
The only issues we did run into was: the noise from the A/C condenser pump in the laundry room which was very loud when it would kick on waking us up in the middle of the night. It could not be looked at during our stay by a specialist. The toaster was broken but was replaced super quick with no issue, the oven took an hour to heat up which was looked at but the same issue occurred the next day when used.
Other than that our stay was good. Thank you for letting us stay in your rental!!

The view is awesome; however when we arrived it felt like it was 90+ degrees inside. The air conditioner was not on, so my wife turned it on and we went exploring. After we got back the air was off. I turned it back on and noticed it wasn’t blowing cold air. I called the. Iggy service and they said the best they could do is send someone out tomorrow.
The fridge would not stay closed; it popped open about 5 min after closing. I called the day service the second day and they said they would send someone out; but they couldn’t get an air conditioning person out till Thursday (the day we checked out). They came and fixed the fridge while we were out.
The pool was closed for maintenance the entire time we were there.

Had a great time staying at this property! Everything we did on Maui was very close and convenient. Spacious 2 bedroom unit with a lanai to relax in the morning and evening. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to family/friends!

This unit does not have air conditioning. It is on the ground floor one unit from the corner of the building next to the main road which is extremely noisy. Since there is no AC you have to have the doors and windows open constantly which brings in dirt and noise. We had to vacuum and dust daily then the high winds blew the smoke detector off the wall sounding the alarm at 2 am! could be solved easily with ac. I would not stay there again although there is a great restaurant

Our condo had everything we needed and a beautiful view! Our family of 11 (two other condos rented) was able to get together for Thanksgiving and enjoy special family time! We enjoyed our time in Kihei very much! We would love to come back!

We came to Hawaii/ Maui, my first trip to the islands, so amazing, almost unreal! Everyone was so nice and this property is PERFECT. It’s a great location and the views are beautiful, the owner was so helpful in her recommendations. Highly recommended grilling on the rooftop lanai, it’s was so much fun, I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for your help, Aloha!

We really enjoyed staying at this condo during our time in Maui. It is beautifully updated. The lanai has an awesome view for sunsets, we saw sea turtles up close right at the beach on the property and it was a great location for all of our Maui adventures. There are many grills on property and the rooftop lanai that you can use. Owner is prompt and thorough with all information you need to have a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend.

The condo was top notch and nothing was forgotten. May was great, she was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. I have stayed in Menehune shores multiple times and this was the most beautiful unit I have been in. Highly recommend!

My fiancée and I’s stay at Azure Bay was very enjoyable! The condo was very clean and we really enjoyed all the fresh decor and amenities (especially the new washer and dryer). Bed and pillows were also super comfortable. We also really liked that the condo came equipped with beach chairs and umbrellas (all in good working condition). We got a lot of use out of those. We would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Maui.

My husband and I had a delightful stay at Pamela's condo. We loved the view and enjoyed the local restaurants. We swam every day and enjoyed the turtles that came to visit. The kitchen was well-equipped. I highly recommend this rental.

We had a very nice stay at the condo, which was clean and comfortable. There wasn't a great amount of storage for more than 2 people, but adequate for a couple. The view was lovely and we enjoyed sitting on the deck. The pool was busy and quite small and for sun we walked down to the beach, which was next to the property. There is no beach in front of the condo, but on the windy days I took the nice beach chairs and sat on the lawn by the pool. I appreciated having new beach chairs, as many condos do not provide them. It was a lovely few days on Maui and I believe vacationers would enjoy staying at this condo.

This condo was amazing. We were on the sixth floor and had access to a rooftop with the most breathtaking views. There were grills if we wanted to barbecue. We overlooked the ocean and could hear the ocean waves all day and all night. Place was well stocked and clean. The owner was awesome. We had no issues whatsoever. The owner checked in to make sure everything was going great. I would definitely stay here again. Parking was very easy and we never had a problem finding a spot. The condo was close to stores and restaurants and shopping.

This Condo is a wonderful place to stay!! The central location, the beautiful views and the sound of the waves from the Condo were simply the best! The Condo was very well stocked with everything we needed. And Marianne was very responsive.
We had no issues and we couldn’t believe that 11 days could go by so fast. Definitely recommend booking this Condo for your next vacation.

Absolutely stunning condo. Sunsets from both the lanai and the roof. The kitchen had everything we needed. The owners fast replies were much appreciated.
Only two issues were no air conditioner (trade winds weren’t blowing like we hoped) and the door was really sticky! It was hard to close without making a fuss.
