This spot is truly amazing! The view is breathtaking, the grounds are immaculate and the roosters are as delightful as ever. We’ve stayed at Surfside eight times before, in different suites each time. This suite is priced to match its charm, which we appreciate since Maui is getting pricier. It’s a bit dated, but we didn’t mind. The only real downsides were that it wasn’t as well-appointed as some of our other stays, so we ended up buying a few things such as ziploc bags and storage containers. The beach chairs were in pretty rough shape (broken straps and dirty) and there was no umbrella. We had to rent an umbrella and borrow chairs from the Surfside office for the whole trip, which was a bit of a letdown since we hadn’t had to do that before. We did have a lock issue, but the owners were quick to fix it. The suite does need a good clean. The bathroom and bedroom fan need some attention. Overall, we had a wonderful time and these little things aren’t deal-breakers for us, but it’s good to know beforehand.

Beautiful unit, great lanai with gorgeous ocean views. Friendly property manager on site. Unit has beach towels and you can check out beach chairs for the duration of your stay. Easy parking included. Hot showers, comfortable beds. Has AC and ceiling fans. 5 minute walk to beach. I’d stay here again.

Fabulous stay in Kihei. We enjoyed this unit and location. Easy to get anywhere on the island. The lawn and pool areas are clean and beautiful for watching sunsets. The lanai was good for relaxing in the evening and listening to the ocean waves. The beach is within a short walk. The convenience store next door is handy when you need that pint of ice cream to eat on the beach!

Excellent condo location. Space exactly as described. Green space next to the building is lovely and didn’t realize how expansive it was going to be. Perfect for relaxing or playing yard games. Ocean view from the lanai and dining area are excellent and so relaxing. Perfect sunsets from the lawn. Will definitely stay here again for our next trip to Kihei!!

Surfside has incredible views of the immaculate property and the ocean. Reclining in the chaise on the lanai was my favorite place to watch all ages relax, exercise and play on the lawn. The unit is equipped with every amenity imaginable, it's spotless and comfortable.

This place was amazing. Such a spectacular view and easy access to several beaches without having to cross a road. We had no issues with the condo and the host was responsive to the few questions we had. Everything went smooth and we totally enjoyed our stay.The location was perfect. It was just south of the main Kihei commercial area but close enough to walk or drive. It was very easy to get to other areas of the island as well. Snorkeling was great just outside the condo with two access points to snorkel the entire reef. We saw turtles on every outing. We saw a turtle sunning on the small beach/cove just next to the public boat ramp just north of the condo. We saw eels as well.Plan your days to snorkel first as the water is calmer in the morning.

Excellent location for beach access, walks to town, laundry facilities, beach chairs available at the check in desk and convenience store nearby. Only real drawback was lack of a/c but with the trade winds and open windows it was just fine for us. We will more than likely stay here again.

Electronic lock did not work, 2 mornings there was a cockroach on the counter, screen door to balcony comes off track every time, couch cushions need to be cleaned. If you look up at the fan in the bathroom, you can view inside it and it’s filthy. I’d rate the condo 7.5

We enjoyed our time at Frankie, Jonas and Leonie home. They have done a great job in creating a welcoming space, and it showed. The views were unforgettable and beautiful. The common space was cozy and entertaining. Overall it was a 5-star experience. We hope to be back! Would recommend. Mahalo

The location of this property was amazing. Enjoyed the vibe of the locals and watching the sunset with the residents and other guests. The condo was small, the furniture was dated and uncomfortable. When we got there, someone was working on the air conditioner in the condo, and it was unbearably hot from being closed up and the air conditioner did not work after being repaired. The owner made concessions, and after the property being opened up for a day, it was much better. Loved the property and the location. Super convenient and close to everything. Really enjoyed our stay, and would stay here again. Thank you for sharing your condo with us.

Was very clean, beautiful view and loved having breakfast on the balcony each morning.We were able to get beach chairs from the office for the week and the condo had a cooler that we used all week. We have stayed at Kihei Surfside many times and love this property and location. Listening to the roosters in the morning and watching the boats leave the boat launch makes for an incredible morning. The condo was beautiful and other than one cleaning snafu which was handled promptly by the property managers everything was perfects!
