We really enjoyed our stay here. The photos are exactly as described and the views were absolutely beautiful. It was also convenient that the beach was so close which has some amazing snorkeling. Would stay here again next time I’m back

"It’s like stepping into a Whole New World" - indescribable feeling when watching the sunset over the water from the green lawn. This was my first time booking with VRBO, and Steve and Connie made it such a simple and comfortable experience. They were very quick to respond, and the self-check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow—which was a lifesaver since we arrived at night after the front office had closed. The rental agreement was transparent from start to finish.The unit itself was very clean, from the chairs to the glass windows and doors. Every appliance worked perfectly, the bed was incredibly comfortable (seriously, it was very nice), and the AC was wonderful. We loved having coffee from the sofa and enjoying the view. It was also very convenient to have beach chairs available from the front office, and there was plenty of parking and a heated swimming pool. We didn't mind not having a beach umbrella; we just found some shade or stayed in the water. We couldn't have asked for a better getaway!"

We had an absolutely amazing stay here for our honeymoon! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the incredible view. Looking out through the large glass windows and from the lanai, we enjoyed beautiful views of the ocean, the lush green lawn below, and the sunsets were gorgeous from the second floor. We loved spending our mornings on the lanai eating breakfast, drinking coffee, and reading while listening to the waves.The condo itself was spotless, comfortable, and very well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we especially appreciated the extra towels, beach umbrella, and ice chest. The bathroom had a huge shower that felt luxurious after a day at the beach. Kihei Surfside was the perfect place to stay. The pool was wonderful, the beach was just a short walk away, and conveniences like the washer and dryers and easy trash disposal made everything so simple. The grounds were beautifully maintained and added to the relaxing atmosphere.This condo truly made our honeymoon complete. It felt like a home away from home while also giving us the tropical paradise experience we were hoping for. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Maui!

AMAZING STAY! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a spotless condo, welcome gifts, and a stunning view. All of the appliances worked great and were up to date. The owners were very informative, consistently updating us with relevant property instructions and stay instructions. The view from the property is absolutely stunning. We watched the sunset from the patio every day. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be planning another visit to this property.

Everything in the listing was as advertised. The booking process, check-in, and communication was clear and easy. Photos do not do the view justice, it really was a slice of paradise in a location that made getting around easy with everything accessible. The condo management staff is meticulous in the care for the property. Every morning they clean the pool, carefully clean the grills (barbecues), and take care of the property. The property had a healthy mix of short term renters and long term residents/visitors/owners. Everyone was extremely kind and considerate. Never an issue with parking as there were plenty of spaces available whenever needed. The walk to the beach was two minutes away via a clean, paved, waterfront sidewalk. Trash removal was a breeze via a trash chute on the same floor, and the condo considerately allows perishable items to be left behind in the condo upon checkout to be donated to help those in need on the island so it doesn’t go to waste. If you’ve read this far in the review just know I could keep going with praises, but will summarize by saying you won’t regret staying at this property.

The best place that I stayed at in Maui that too,I’ve been going there since 2001.Larry is the best he, he helped us when we were in a situation for our last 3 nights.The room, one bedroom, one bath and a half. From the time I walked in this place is amazingly clean the cleaning crew that he has does such an amazing job not one specked of dust dirt everything was perfect. I’ll start with is the AC which is the best AC in the living room and the bedroom it worked so good that I had to turn it off at times it cools down the place real quick because when I looked at the pictures I seen there was floor to ceiling windows with no curtains and no blinds so my concern was people seeing in and it will get hot. That’s not the case at all it stayed nice and cool such a wonderful view. opened the windows and the sliding doors at night and get the trade winds coming in. Beautiful kitchen it is definitely top notch, everything you may need or want. The furniture in this place is top-notch. What a great job with the remodeling and everything looks amazing. I am definitely coming back and renting this place again for sure. We had an amazing time there for three nights wish it was the whole two weeks. search no more this is the one to rent. oh yeah, I forgot about the grounds such beautiful property to walk on little walking trails all the birds different benches to sit at amazing just amazing.Thank you Larry for all your help. This was a perfect place to stay during our trip to Maui. Check-in was a breeze and the property was clean and exactly as listed. The listing description is incredibly accurate especially when it comes to how close in proximity you are to to the beach. We visited the beach every day and never found it too crowded. I absolutely loved the lawn. Watching the complex gather on the lawn for sunset each night was one of my favorite experiences about the stay. Finally, Larry was great at communicating and easy to work with when we wanted to extend or stay due to a late flight.

Great location and a great beach to the south. Morning walks are fantastic. And the big grassy park right on the property was a real treat as well. The wind blows most afternoons and then calms down in early evening. I think this is pretty normal for the Kihei area and it is fine as long as you plan your day around it. Again mornings are definitely best for the beach. Condo was well equipped and stylishly furnished with incredible wide views of the beach and mountains.My only complaint is that there is not a table out on the lanai. We would definitely return again for another happy and relaxing vacation!

It’s hard to find a condo in Kihei that’s next to the ocean, has a beautiful view from the lanai, renovated and very clean. This condo is just a few steps away from Keawakapu Beach where we did snorkeling and even saw a seal sunning himself on the beach. This condo is very clean, well equipped and the parking is even free. The owner,Larry, is very easy to work with and because the cleaning was done early, we were able to check in at two instead of four. You won’t find a better place than Kihei Surfside Resort

Location and view by the water was great. The kitchen had everything you need plus the shower had great pressure.I didn’t find the living room/couch set up very relaxing and although I appreciate that the couch is a pull out to accommodate more people an upgrade here would be great; as it was hard to come back from a long day and relax somewhere that wasn’t in the bed. Including an umbrella would also make beach time way better and more coffee than a starter pack of coffee since it’s hard to buy just a little of that.

We mostly had a very good experience. The view really is that good and the place is nice. The kitchen had everything we wanted. This is in easy walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops, and very close to the dock for tours.We only had one problem. I had mistakenly mixed up on the checkout time, as everywhere else we stayed was 11:00. They cleaners came at 10:00 but my son thought they were trying to sell something and didn't understand them. Then Larry called to let us know. He left a VM telling me that I needed to go read my contract and we did too need to be out that day (I guess the cleaners thought we were planning to stay another day? But we certainly never told them that). I called him back and explained that we would be out quickly, just had a mix up and had thought we had another hour. He was rude about it and threatened a fee for every 30 minutes we were late. It was very much not in the aloha spirit. It was a simple mistake and we were out within 10 minutes of the phone call. There had been an email with the checkout info, but I didn't even see that until we were back home. I definitely was not checking my email while on vacation. So it was overall a good stay except for the last few minutes where the host had the chance to extend some grace they were rude. I am sorry for the mistake and understand that the cleaners were there standing by so maybe it was stressful for him, but I think he could have done much better with this situation.

Beautiful, quiet condo with absolutely stunning ocean views! We enjoyed watching the whales and the beautiful sunsets from either the balcony or the beautiful grassy area outside! It truly feels like a home away from home! Such a great location and everyone there was so friendly! Larry was very responsive and helpful with communication! We were concerned about going ahead and going because of the Kona storms but so glad we did!!! We’d definitely love to come stay here again!!!
