We enjoyed our time at the condo. It was a perfect location for walking into the town or local beaches. The pool and site was great with access to chairs etc. the unit is a bit older and does not look exactly like the photos. The small appliances were older - toaster worked but was missing the handle and just had felt to push down and the coffee machine was very rusted - but didn’t impact our stay overall. Even without A/C the condo was cool if there was a breeze off the ocean and the fans did help. We enjoyed our stay and would stay at the condo building again.

The apartment looked exactly like on the pictures and that view was incredible. Waking up every morning and sitting on the balcony was a dream. With a competitive rate it was perfect! It is conveniently located between Kihei and Wilea so close to all restaurants and beaches.

What a beautiful view to wake up to everyday. It was quiet at night and in the morning I could hear the sweet sound of birds at the bird feeder across the lawn. I didn’t hear chickens but saw some around. It was a little warm for sleeping one night but all the rest had wonderful trade winds to keep us cool.

We have nothing but great things to say about our stay at Kihei Surfside. Staff was great and attentive, unit was clean and had all the necessities, views were spectacular! The beach is a 3 min walk to the next hotel over which has a general store for snacks and beach items. Most important about this place is the location!! Anything you want or need is 10 mins or less drive. Could not ask for a better location that is both central and has stunning ocean front views!

You can't beat this location. We met visitors from all over at the BBQ every night. Most were with their families for the holidays. The management in the office was friendly and helpful. We were even visited by whales one afternoon and was able to watch from the balcony. This will become come an annual tradition.

Would highly recommend as a base for Maui. Yes, there are chickens that call through the night. But if you close the lanai doors and the bedroom doors, no sound gets to the bedroom.

The property was beautiful. Everything in the condo was great and as expected. Lots of amenities to make for a comfortable stay. The beach around the corner was perfect. We will definitely look at this property first next time we visit Maui.

This condo was in a great location and had everything we needed. The view was everything! The condo had a great layout (we appreciated the extra bathroom) and was well stocked with everything we needed. The dining room had such a great ocean view that we chose to eat in most nights. The grounds of Kihei Surfside were so beautiful to walk around and explore or relax on a bench. We would definitely stay here again!

Not “recently renovated” as it says in the description, but it was fine. Could really do without being woken at 5am each day by the cockerels but the ocean views are amazing. You can just sit on the balcony and watch whales in the bay.

The only inconvenience are the roosters that will without fail try to wake you every day around 5 am. Close the windows or use ear plugs and the problem goes away.

my husband and I had been to Hawaii before but this was our kids first trip - and long awaited as we had to cancel a previous trip in March of 2020. Kihei Surfside was a perfect place to stay - I just recommended it to my mother! Gorgeous ocean views, a fabulous beach just steps away, perfectly situated between the activities in Kihei and beautiful walks in Wailea, great options for other beaches to explore to the south, beachfront yoga and a restaurant next door. Our unit was nicely updated and the kitchen had what we needed for some easy meals. We enjoyed long morning walks, snorkling at the reef just off the shore, seeing turtles, sitting on the longue chairs, kids loved the pool, and the community that meets every night for sunset. Would absolutely stay again!

We enjoyed looking over the green grass of the park at the ocean. 5 Palms restaurant in condo next door has good food and a fantastic location overlooking the beach. We walked for miles each way on the beach. South takes you to the resorts of Wailea. North takes you to shops and restaurants.
Condo is clean, comfortable and well stocked.

This condo was perfect for our family vacation! It has a gorgeous ocean view! I spent most evenings watching the sunset from the balcony. The pool was closed but it is a quick walk to the beach. The condo was clean and comfortable. I was concerned about my two adult children sharing a pull-out couch bed, but they were actually comfortable the whole week. The condo does not have an air conditioner, but there are a few fans that help keep it cool. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a great unit with absolutely breathtaking views, especially during sunset! The place was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of towels. We loved exploring Maui during the day and coming back to Kihei surfside to relax and watch the sunset. Great beaches around and lots of good options for food as well!
There were some construction materials laid out between the building and the lawn during our stay, but this was communicated to us in advance, and the views were still great despite that, and we were offered a great discount as a result.

We loved our trip to Kihei Surfside 312! The property has super easy access to the beach and an amazing lawn out front for activities and watching the sunset! Great location in Kihei, super close to everything you need! Condo was clean and had all the materials one would need to enjoy their time!

We were so happy with our stay - the apartment was spacious and clean. There was construction outside that took away from the beautiful view, nevertheless, it was so beautiful that my boyfriend and I would go sit in the grass and have our coffee there every morning. Everyone was friendly and the staff was super helpful. Definitely stay here. :)

We really enjoyed our stay! The view across the lawn was beautiful (especially at sunset), it was right by several beaches & close to many places to eat, and we saw so many sea turtles by the adjacent boat launch area. The condo was equipped with everything we needed, and both the bed & the sleeper sofa were comfortable. The folks at the front office were very helpful when we had questions about the area. It was a little warm when we got there, but the sea breeze cooled things right off once we opened all the windows & the balcony doors. Overall, a great place to stay!
