We stayed at this beautiful home for just under a week. My family (wife, 3 children ages 2 - 4, and I) and my brother's family (brother, his wife, and 2 children ages 7-9) were all very comfortable. CB Islands was extremely responsive and the location and view could not be beat. We will be back again!

My family and I spent the school’s mid-winter break in Wailea and this home was perfect for us. The location was great! It is close to many amenities. We loved the view from the lanai! My two grandsons enjoyed the pool as well as the beach. Communication with Hope was always fri, kind and helpful. I hope to return!

We had a conference at the Grand Wailea and were bringing our adult children. This rental is very close to the hotel for a go between to attend the conference and catch up with our children at the end of the day. We stayed at the rental with them when the conference was over. Short walk to the shops and beach!Great layout for everyone to have their own space.

Our experience was mixed. Upon arrival a number of issues were identified. Response was prompt which was a pleasant surprise. Condition of unit is not unique. We have rented in Ho’olei for many years and many of these units are showing their age. Some have been refurbished but in others there are always things that don’t work, lights are burned out, elevators don’t work, etc. These places get cleaned but that’s pretty much it. This unit was well-stocked with dishes, glasses, etc.but some lights were burned out, cable tv and elevator didn’t work. Host says they don’t know about problems unless somebody tells them - huh? For the rental prices they charge these places should be pristine. Be prepared for similar experience.

The house is beautiful. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach and you do have to cross the street to get to the beach. It is close to shops & restaurants that you can walk to. I love the area & the home is spectacular. It has a beautiful kitchen, a cozy sofa to gather in the living room. They have beach chairs, umbrella & a wagon for the beach so you should have everything you need. The pool has a nice walk in area for children as well as a hot tub!!

This property was exactly as described and complete perfection as it related to housing all of our family members. The grounds are beautiful. The pool is gorgeous. The location for us was exactly where we wanted to be and just across the street from the beach. We did have some street noise coming from behind the patio but it wasn't terribly intrusive. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils as well as small appliances. The Furnishings are modern which included a fair amount of white upholstery which was discolored from use. Not to be unexpected. The cleaning of the vents and the tile/glass in the showers need some detailed cleaning but I am meticulous when it comes to cleaning, personally. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this property.

We had the best stay at Ho’olei villa 69-5. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out, very clean and well updated. But the best was the lanai and the view! It was amazing and we saw so many whales just sitting and relaxing. The pool at the complex is great, not busy at all and very nice kid area. The beach is a short walk or drive, never had a problem finding a parking spot. I would definitely stay at this property again!

The home is beautiful overall but there are several maintenance issues that need to be addressed. Plumbing: None of the bathroom sinks drain properly. The shower in downstairs guest bath leaks at bottom bc caulking is gone. Upstairs shower, we could not change water temperature/valve is stuck. Toilets run in both upstairs bathrooms.The outdoor grill on the lanai had previously caught on fire. Property management brought a small hibachi/camping grill that was not easy to control the cooking temp. Strongly suggest upgrading coffee pot to one with an automatic shut off. Dryer had generated a fault code and was inoperable our entire stay.Bring your own toiletries because the bottles provided are only enough for a couple of days use…We had a wonderful stay but it could have been better if some maintenance items are addressed.

This place was exceptional - beautiful home, well appointed, location could not be better! We loved walking to the beach and so many terrific restaurants. Appreciated having some beach equipment there (few beach chairs, one small umbrella, couple of snorkel masks). Pool was also lovely and relaxing - not a zoo like at the resorts. Lots of great space for our family of 8 (all adults). Easy check in. Geoff was very responsive and helpful. Would love to stay here again!!

The location was wonderful; walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The photos represent the property well. The kitchen was well stocked, including olive oils, salt, pepper, cleaning products and trash liners. Loads of towels were offered too. The sheets and othering bedding were great quality. All the major appliances worked well and the washing machine came in handy for the family. The only criticism would be the cleanliness of the bathroom rug in the master. Overall, it is a great property for a family. We would stay again.

Great location, amenities, condo layout, and recommendations on things to do in Maui from the property owner. Beautiful sunsets over the ocean visible from the lanai. The property is showing its age. Fortunately, the property manager was very responsive. AC upstairs failed day 1, but was resolved in 24 hrs. Microwave failed but was promptly replaced. The front door did not work correctly, and the sliding door had issues. Overall, a great stay though.

Gila’s home was beautiful and spacious, exactly what we needed for family time and to retreat to our own bedrooms in the evening. The sunset views were great each night, and the location is in close proximity to beaches and restaurants. We were only a short walk to Wailea Beach and the beach path as well.
We had a problem with the dishwasher and it wasn’t able you be repaired while we were there, but Avila generously offered to make it up to us with a late evening check-out.

All that is entailed in the description and the photos that you go through, are magnified one hundred times when you physically step onto this gorgeous property. Everything inside is very well kept and full of many accommodations. The amenities are exactly as listed and did not fall short of any expectation. The view from the lanai is absolutely magical! You can see the waves of Wailea beach right from the property! Sailboats passing by and mesmerizing sunsets. All that you needed to go to the beach or take a dip in the pool was available right on the property. Speaking of the pool, what a beautiful setting and environment. The pool and jacuzzi are relaxing and very enjoyable. The property manager was very attentive and courteous. They greeted us right upon arrival and showed my family and I around the property. Our stay was memorable and we definitely plan on coming back and staying at this property again. I highly recommend it!

We absolutely loved our stay at Ho’olei. Eric made sure we had everything we needed. The team takes great pride in keeping the home and grounds clean. The outdoor patio with panoramic view of the ocean and proximity to the Grand Wailea resort and beach were a highlight of our stay. We have stayed at Ho’Olei properties in the past and they never disappoint. Spacious and convenient are the two number one things that come to mind. We were a 17 person, multi family group staying in Maui for my parents 50th Anniversary. We rented two units to accommodate everyone and there was still room to spare! Having a master bath for each bdrm is a so good. The convenience of laundry, dishwasher, coffee makers, beach chairs, wagon, towels and so much more really is convenient. The view from this unit is beautiful and it is just a quick walk down to the pool and gym where there is fresh brewed coffee early each morning. The location is nice as it’s not so busy on the sidewalks like in Kihei and the landscaping is always so beautifully manicured! From start to finish everything went seamlessly! Would highly recommend this unit!
