We really loved our stay! The location was awesome, my kids could walk right out onto the grassy area and down to the beach/pool easily. The view is also amazing, and having two full bathrooms (one with a tub) was a huge plus for us.
For the most part everything was clean and tidy but there was an off-putting stain on the fitted sheet for the pull-out couch and no extra sheets to use instead. That said, we might have been able to ask for a replacement to be delivered, I just didn't think of it at the time!
There was one lapse in communication with the property managers a couple weeks before our arrival and I had to follow up with them, but after that they were very responsive, especially with text messages.
I think the unit to have been better stocked with basic cooking supplies and recreational equipment. I understand ants and other pests can be a problem with food, but we had to purchase a lot of basics (salt, cooking oil, etc) and then toss the extra which felt very wasteful. We also spent about $200 on beach toy rentals, boogie boards, lawn games, and a wagon, then noticed some of the neighbors had these supplied with the condo. Stocking a few more of these items at the condo would have been great, especially for a family with young kids like ours.
Overall, these are just small items and did not take away from our overall experience. We had a blast and the condo was lovely. I'd definitely recommend it. Thank you!

The condo description was very accurate and suited our family of three perfectly. It is quiet and very private. The location is fantastic, closer to Wailea than Kihei. The walk to the beach is pleasant, taking you through the condo's lawn, and you are within walking distance of the Wailea Beach Path, which provides access to various resorts and the Wailea Shops.
The condo is well-furnished with beach gear, including an umbrella, a bodyboard, and snorkeling equipment. Grocery stores in Kihei are just a 10-minute drive away.
This was our first time in Hawaii, and we loved both the island and our accommodation. The location is exceptional and very convenient.

We loved our stay. We come with many other of our family in other locations in Ehahi Village. Everyone at VRBO was supportive when we needed help. I failed to print out the instructions to get the door code but we finally got it figured out. All else went perfectly well. We came back totally rejuvinated.

This condo unit was perfect for our trip to Hawaii. The location was great being so close to restaurants and shopping without having to stay in a resort. The condo complex was quiet and relaxing and the beach and pool were not crowded.
This unit is also fully stocked with plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, a cart to carry supplies to the beach, and a few coolers! The patio had a nice table and two lounger chairs to spend some relaxing time outside but away from the afternoon sun! It is right next to a pool with 2 grills as well!

Stayed with my husband and our almost 2 year old. It was a good size bedroom (with pack-n-play set up ready for us!) for the three of us. And great lanai and living room to hang out in during nap time and early bed time so we weren’t stuck going to bed early! Right across the private road from our me if the pools and easy walk to the beach. There is a great wagon to pull the stuff there, but do need to lift it down about15 stairs to the beach. Would stay again for sure!!!

We absolutely loved this place. Such a beautiful property with great amenities in a great location. The unit itself has excellent AC throughout, and it’s a very nicely updated unit. The couch was super comfy, and the whole place feels very Hawaiian and welcoming. The bed was a bit too firm for our taste, but that’s just personal preference. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be our first choice in the future.

Very disappointed. It had a very unpleasant smell. Did not have a comfortable feeling.... rewashed the towels and pillow cases and dishes we were going to use because I wasn't sure where the smell was coming from..... I could have stayed at a hotel for the same price... also... please dispose of dirty container and old condiments in the refrigerator

We had a wonderful stay at the condo, it was well stocked for our 8 day stay and we had plenty of everything we needed. Anything else is readily available at the Island Gourmet Market in the Wailea Shopping Center.
The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner can be a tad noisy, but almost every night around 6pm a breeze would come up and we would open up all of the windows and sliding glass door upstairs.
There is a small pool and 2 BBQ's very close by, so we cooked dinner a couple of nights.
Our favorite feature about the property is the Main pool and pavilion down by the ocean. We spent the first half of our trip there everyday. We were sad to find out that the pool would be closed for re-surfacing the second 1/2 half of our trip. It should greatly enhance the area when done. The kitchen and pavilion area are amazing and are well maintained throughout the whole day. There is also a nice workout facility and nice restrooms. It's like being at a hotel resort only rules and people.
We cannot wait to return with our whole family.

Three of us stayed for a week, my wife, our 2 year old daughter and me. It was a perfect location to enjoy a gentle beach and to relax. Communication was great and the apartment was just as shown in the photos. They even had toys for our kiddo to play with on the beach and a wagon to bring everyone there and back. Will definitely stay again!

First - we received notice that the main pool was to be closed for the complete duration of our 2 week stay 24 hours before leaving for our trip. The other pools on site were not suitable for our grandchildren as they dropped off in depth very quickly.
2nd - unit was advertised as completely renovated and on arrival found the most disgusting carpet in the bed room. If the owner had only continued the renovations to include the bedroom, it would have been well received.
Compensation received for our inconvenience was not adequate in our option.

The place was amazing, way better than I expected. It felt cozy and just like home. The bedroom was beautiful, the kitchen had everything modern you could need, and outside felt more like living in a house than an apartment. Plus, the swimming pool was just around the corner, and there's a private entrance to the beach right from the complex. I totally recommend this place—you'll love it!

Walking 1 Minute to one of the most beautiful beaches and to the Wilea area.
Stop by Safeway before you check in, cook breakfast, enjoy beach and pools and then go out for dinner .

Great location at Ekahi, beautiful views, well stocked kitchen, very comfortable home, helpful information binder by the owners, useful beach chairs and umbrellas, the 3 ac units worked well. Only negative was some drafty hot air through some louvered windows, not a big problem but it means having to use more air conditioning.

This was our third time staying in Ekahi village and Lisa’s place was by far the cleanest and most updated. We will only stay in Ekahi village while on Maui and all future stays will hopefully be here and Lisa’s. She is incredibly responsive and checked on us to make sure that we had everything we needed. We absolutely loved this unit. Gorgeous views from the entire living area and primary bedroom. From the living room you feel like you’re on the lanai, with the wonderful views and ocean breeze. Our only disappointment was that the main pool was closed our entire stay, but that was just bad luck. Highly recommend!

We are fans of the Ekahi and this unit was by far the best one we've leased; particularly for it's location, in the center of the property, very quiet, close to pools, barbeque and the glorious Keawakapu Beach. The unit is classically elegant and comfortably furnished with central A/C that goes off when you open a window to enjoy the evening breeze. It works well for 4 adults, with a deck off the second bedroom. We are excited to return! Mahalo

This condo has a cockroach issue. We had a terrible experience with cockroaches. After discovering the first on our first day I figured we are in a tropical location and it’s normal to have some bugs. But then we found 3 more, all on separate days, in different locations. The last on our final night crawled on my friends leg, super gross! We contacted the management company who informed us that this is normal and they would have thought the quarterly treatment would have taken care of them. I’ve stayed in enough beautiful condos in Maui to know that this is not normal and bug treatments are typically far more frequent than quarterly (and often occur during our stay as regular maintenance). Nothing was done to address the situation. In addition, this condo is far worse that what is shown in the photos, which are not recent. Yes, it has most of what you need, but everything is very old and in need of upgrading. There were some positives: the lanai and patio furniture are great. The AC throughout works well. The location is awesome, so close to the beach. I love Wailea Ekahi as it is the “sweet spot” between Wailea and Kihei. However, I will avoid building 8 in future, as it clearly has a cockroach issue that needs to be addressed.

The property management guys were quick to respond and were helpful by having an AC technician come out to check the units for us. They said the units were working properly so I can only suppose the single pane windows and jalousie windows, perhaps insufficient insulation, allowed too much heat gain during the day when temps reached 88 or so. I definitely wouldn’t recommend turning the units off when you are away. Would have been nice if the AC would have been turned on before our arrival as it was very warm inside. I appreciated the management’s response to my emails, and the floral arrangement was very tropical and set a nice tone to start our vacation. Kitchen was sufficiently stocked, bedding was nice and the lanai was great for our morning coffee.

The unit worked great for our family and was equipped with all the essentials. Unfortunately the pool by the ocean was being worked on during our stay which made the other pools on the property a little crowded and took away from our enjoyment of the property. This was no fault of the unit owner and just poor luck on our part. Otherwise everything was great and we enjoyed our time in Maui!

My husband and I were looking for a place to really relax after several major health challenges followed his retirement last summer. This condo fit the bill perfectly; it's a great value for how close to the beach you are. We spent most days reading and relaxing on the beach or lanai. The view from the lanai is a major plus.... lawn, flowers and palm trees, let alone the tropical birdsong.
The owner was very responsive to inquires and bent over backwards to accommodate our particular needs. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations, though we ate in for most meals.
The beach towels, chairs and umbrella were greatly appreciated, esp. the box of snorkel gear by the front door. The water was a little clearer at Po'olenalena Beach for snorkeling, but we still enjoyed being able to walk down to the beach below the condo for reading and going in the ocean.
I enjoyed the sunset from the small pool nearby. Hopefully next time we visit, the pool by the beach will be open! It looked like a great place to spend an afternoon reading.
Our only excursion was a stargazing tour atop Haleakala. It was nice to let someone else do the driving, then enjoy a spectacular sunset and night sky.
Let's just say I'm already planning another trip within a year or two. Highly recommend this unit!

The grounds and property were incredible, the grounds keeping crew had it 10 out of 10. Pools were great, not too crowded and amazing views. Easy to get around the property and close to lots of good stuff in Wailea. Charles was also super helpful when I made a mistake with the booking and communicated everything we’d need to have a seamless check in. Would absolutely stay again.

I was notified that the ac was broken and then the main pool was closed. I was offered a 15% discount. I get that things break but it was extremely hot in the unit and a fan did not help. With the pool closed for scheduled maintenance it was a huge loss overall to our experience. We left a night early.

My husband, 19 year old son and I stayed for just over a week at this incredible condo. This was our second visit to Wailea Ekahi Village, which has become our preferred choice on Maui, and decided to get a 2 bedroom and fell in love with everything about the accommodations! The condo is very spacious and extremely comfortable in every aspect, in addition to being a great layout and beautifully decorated, just as the photos showed, the condo is fully stocked with everything you will need on your stay from kitchen wares to beach chairs, umbrella and even a pickle ball set for the nearby court. The location in Wailea is wonderful, near many great restaurants and shopping, and the beach the association is on is the perfect Maui setting, just a few steps from the condo. We enjoyed the multiple outdoor areas at the condo and throughout the association. The next time we visit Maui, we'd love the Maui Wailea Escape to be our home away from home again! This was a very large space that suited my five kids very well. Comes with everything you would need in the kitchen and at the beach. The views off the lanais are hard to beat and made my friends staying at the Marriot Residence jealous. It is a solid 5 min walk to the beach which gave my kids time to chase lizards on the way. There is a bit of road noise due to proximity to the main road but it still felt secluded and private. We would stay there again no problem. Erin is a great host.
