Previously we have stayed in other Ekahi Village condos and Wailea hotels. We found our 2 week stay at 40A to be our preferred location and plan to return. This is what a Maui condo rental should be - it allows for full enjoyment of the Maui beach and island lifestyle. The furnishings and appliances have been upgraded and are well maintained. The supplies for the kitchen, bathrooms, beach activities etc. are thoughtfully provided. Communication with the owner was very easy. Ekahi Village faces one of the nicest and largest beaches in Maui. Parking is convenient, neighbours are friendly and the pool area is spacious and well looked after. Look no further!

This place had everything! It was very well stocked to cook, stay, go to the beach, pool, you name it! Communication with the owner was always quick and responsive and so sweet! My mom, sister and I all stayed and there was more than enough room for us! We would definitely stay here again!

If you have any doubts about booking this rental, don’t even stress! Just book it. Bonnie and Chad are phenomenal hosts that made our stay truly feel like home. The property was quiet, clean, and we had everything we needed for our long awaited vacation stay. They were so accommodating and exceeded any expectations we had. We look forward to being able to call 40A our home away from home again in the future!

We arrived on Aug 8th. Didn’t know if we should stay or head back home. The airport was over crowded with people that needed to leave quicker than us, so we decided to stay. We stayed close to the condo, spending our days at the beach and utilizing the pools. The grounds were beautiful, the staff were kind and supportive. Eventually, we ventured out. We visited the town of Paia, Mamas Fish House and hiked to Twin Falls. From there we went to a recommended establishment called “Ocean Vodka.” Beautiful mountain view with live Hawaiian music. It was a breath of fresh air. Back to the condo. It was clean, everything was very organized. I have a 13 year old and he loves sleeping on both the pull out couch as well as the Murphy bed. The master bedroom was very peaceful, the bed was comfortable and having 2 bathrooms was a bonus. I would love to visit again some day. #prayingforlahaina

I highly recommend this condo! We had an incredible time. This was our first trip with our 1.5 year old and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay- the condo had everything we needed and more including a pack n play, wagon to bring stuff down to the beach, and beach toys!! This truly felt like a home away from home. The location of the condo is perfectly situation in Ekahi village with access to (in our opinion) the best beach on Maui and beautiful facilities. Bonnie was an exceptional host and quickly responded to every question. We would love to stay again!

The condo and Wailea Ekahi property were exceptional for our 9-day stay in May. The condo was fully equipped--from kitchen to beach and BBQ supplies--and had so many thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The pools and beach access were pristine, and the location could not be a better home base for exploring everything to the north and south. We were so glad we chose this condo over the many luxury hotels in the area. We honestly can't wait to go back!

The property was great. There was plenty of room for a family of four with two young kids.
One of the best beaches in the area is just a five minute walk from the back patio. All of the necessary beach supplies, to include a wagon, were located at the property.

Very responsive host. Very clean and well stocked. In the corner of the association so secluded with lots of privacy. Awesome pool area and access to an uncrowded beach. Long hilly walk to the pool area but they provide a wagon to carry the chairs etc. A nice workout on the way back. Also in a ritzy area so plan to spend money if eating in the immediate area.

Although I usually don’t leave reviews, I felt like I needed to do so in this situation. This condo exceeded our expectations in every way. In addition to being fully stocked with every possible thing one would want for the perfect Hawaiian vacation, it is only a short walk (less than five minutes) away from an amazing pool/clubhouse and the gorgeous Keawakapu beach. We swam/snorkeled at the beach for hours and saw multiple sea turtles lounging around just a short walk away every afternoon. Bonnie is an amazing host—she had wonderful recommendations for restaurants and was available by text whenever needed—and I highly recommend her property. Staying at her place was exactly what we needed and can’t wait to come back as soon as possible! Thank you, Bonnie!

We had an amazing time at Ekahi village with our 4 year old daughter and 1 year old son. The condo was a perfect size for our family and had everything we needed including a wagon, beach toys, and boogie boards. We spent most of our trip at the condo hanging out at the family pool or the beach. This is a great place to stay with a family!! We can’t wait to go back!

Family of three with 5yo. Wonderfully appointed unit, great care is taken with having everything we needed whether for the pool/ beach or for prepare a home cooked me, Ideal for us. Unit is quiet and offers good proximity to shopping and other off property amenities. A bit of a walk to the main pool and beach, however new clubhouse makes it worth it.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bonnie’s place. The condo was sparkly clean on our arrival and was not just well stocked but well stocked with quality items. Sharp knives, quality and well maintained beach gear, high end cooking tools, brand new appliances, comfy and high quality linens to name a few. It’s apparent Bonnie really went out of her way to think about what items you not only need but might want to have to make your stay more enjoyable. Bonnie is an excellent host and even got a brand new pack and play for our little one so that it was all waiting for us in the unit - a godsend when travelling with a small child. She also went above and beyond to accommodate us on the day of check out to make our long travel day and late flight easier on us all.
We cannot wait to stay at Bonnie’s place again the next time we are in Maui. We loved the location and the complex and could not have had a better experience with this host. Bonnie is amazing and I can assure you that you will love your stay here too!

The overall Ekahi property is very spacious and well maintained.The hosts and on-site staff of this unit were very responsive and a pleasure to communicate with. The kitchen is well stocked, the linens and towels are fresh and the furnishings are comfortable and pleasant. The unit is well stocked for ocean activities. We would stay here again. Mahalo.

Bonnie's place was everything we were hoping for and more! The condo was extremely clean and comfortable. It was well equipped with all the kitchen stuff you need as well as beach gear (chairs, umbrella etc..). Bonnie was very responsive, informative and helpful to ensure our vacation was perfect. The grounds of the property were beautiful and well maintained. The location was perfect! It is close too many beaches, restaurants and activities. Seeing whales jumping in the ocean while sitting by the pool was incredible. I would highly recommend staying here!

Ekahi Village was a great landing place to enjoy South Maui. Many beaches and services were within walking distance; nearby attractions were just a short drive away. The condo had everything we needed, it was super clean, stylish and comfortable. The fans kept the home cool and the breezes flowing throughout the condo. I dislike AC, and there was no need for it, though some nearby units kept AC on all day/night. We especially enjoyed the lanai and the daily birdsong from 6 a.m. on. The grounds of the complex were lovely, and we utilized the pavilion and every pool available to guests. The one thing I forgot about, and I've experienced this at other condo properties both in Hawaii and on the mainland, was the sound of maintenance equipment (leaf blowers, edgers, mowers, etc) -- almost every day, for hours at a time. I'd have to leave the property when the army of maintenance people were working because the sound was overwhelming to me.

This property is beautiful, functional and the owners have thought of everything you will need during your stay! Location is everything and this unit is minutes from the beach and three pools, walking distance to the Shops at Wailea, a paved walkway through the 5-star hotels along the beach and stunning sunsets every evening! Bonnie always kept us updated with travel restrictions and answered any questions we had about our stay in Maui. We appreciated the use of the beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach toys and the wagon to carry them all in. We are already planning our next trip and we will definitely stay in 40A. In addition to an immaculate condo the grounds are incredibly maintained and pristine - you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I stayed from 5/02 through 5/09. Although Maui seemed more crowded than in the past, Wailea still maintained the calm and relaxed atmosphere that we always seek in a Hawaiian vacation. 40A was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with all the amenities we could wish for. Some of the best features included the incredibly soft king bed, the dual reclining chairs in the living area, and fans that will keep you cool in any area of the home. The private lanai off the bedroom was perfect for morning coffee while listening to the birds. The additional lanai off the living room provided beautiful views and another fan, perfect for enjoying mornings and evenings. The beach equipment that we were provided was incredible! We used the wagon to bring chairs, towels, snacks, and an umbrella down to the beach, but there were also games and other equipment that would be great for kids. Couldnt figure out how to turn off the A/C? Other than that, great experience.. Easy to say we were very happy with this condo and would highly recommend.

Everything about this Maui experience surpassed expectations. The owner Bonnie was extremely responsive and right up to our travel date provided valuable information about the changing COVID status and regulations. The condo itself was immaculate - everything seemed new or near new and had so many thoughtful amenities like boogie boards and beach chairs. The location was also ideal - close to an amazing beach and a nice secluded lanai. Would definitely stay here again.

We had an awesome stay at this clean and spacious property. We also enjoyed the location if it being part of a lush village community that was a easy walk to the beach and nearby resorts / restaurants. The condo and grounds were spectacular and the owners bent over backwards to accommodate our every need! Beautifully updated unit, very clean and full of everything you could need or want all the way down to beach toys and tools (chairs, umbrellas etc) very close to all the restaurants, stores, and the beach is a short walk through the gorgeous grounds. We loved it here and will definitely book again.

After rescheduling 3x due to Covid, we finally made it to Maui! We couldn’t have asked for a more communicative host than Bonnie, who was always on top of the latest travel guidelines for Maui and helped us to reschedule when necessary. She even called around to local restaurants and shops to give us an idea of what would be open during our stay!
Bonnie’s place was the perfect home away from home for our family of 3. We loved the short walk down to the beach and pool each day (our toddler loved the wagon that was provided!). We appreciated that the condo was so well stocked with any type of beach gear we could need; we made great use of the beach toys, chairs and umbrellas each day!
Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. We can’t wait for our next visit. Thank you Bonnie for hosting us!

We have been coming to Ekahi in Wailea since the early 80's. We have family who are owners, so we've stayed in various units over the years. This unit 40A is fabulous! It's clean, quiet and has great appliances. My husband and I enjoyed our visit, and the amenities available for the beach were so nice to have- cooler, umbrella, chairs etc. We knew the pavilion at the main pool would be under construction during our stay, and looks to be quite wonderful when it's completed in Feb. This didn't interrupt our main pool usage, spent a bit more time on the beach though.

We have stayed at various different units at Wailea Ekahi Village over the years and have found Rachel's unit to be very well equipped and family friendly for my wife and two kids (ages 1 and 4). Rachel was very responsive throughout the whole process and was very accommodating when we had to reschedule our booking at short notice due to Hurricane Lane. Rachel was also very attentive to our needs and checked in with us to make sure we were all right when Tropical Storm Olivia passed through (thankfully, everyone made it through safely and the unit came through just fine). We really enjoyed our stay and for a future trip wouldn't hesitate to book again!

This unit is so nice. The location is a bit up the hill but is great for a little exercise. The patio is perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. It was so well stocked with all the beach items needed! The kitchen had everything you need and Rachell is great. We would highly recommend this if you want the perfect trip to Maui!

We already loved Ekahi Village, and this a particularly nice unit with everything we could possibly need and beautifully updated. Would happily stay here again.
Only downside was the thin uncomfortable mattress on the fold-out couch. Main bed and wallbed were great.
