This was an absolutely lovely unit. We’ve stayed in many at a Ekahi Village, and this one has been our most favourite to date. The detail in the decor was stunning. The towels are next level so much so that we actually ordered some for our home because we saw the brand on the tag lol, The bed was wonderful and comfortable and even the couch bed was next level. My kids were in heaven! I laid on it and the mattress is different than any of the others I’ve ever been on-you can’t feel the springs, felt fantastic. The kitchen is well equipped with everything that you need , the best part of the suite was the lovely surprise when you sit outside on the deck, you can see all the way down to the water with all the gorgeous trees, plants, and foliage in the vista. It was absolutely beautiful!! Also, one of the quiet pools is a minute away!!

Resort area and location of the condo unit was perfect.
Condo was absolutely stunning and well stocked with every amenity you could want.
We enjoyed the walk down to beach every evening for sunset.
The Wailea beach walk is a great way to start every morning after having coffee on the Lanai with views of the ocean. Having a pool in close proximity was also a great feature.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again.

This was our first time staying at Akahi. The location is very convenient. We found this unit to be well equipped with everything you would ever need for a comfortable stay. There were a few items we forgot to bring (ie beach bag) and to our delight we found them supplied.
Susan was a great hostess.
We would definitely recommend her condo to small families or couples.

We feel spoiled for life! The Wailea Ekahi Resort is 45-acres of tropical flowers, exotic birds, direct beach-front access, pools, and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Susan's condo is even more beautiful than the photos. She provides everything to help enhance your visit and is readily available if you need her.
This was the most beautiful condo and resort at which we've ever stayed.

Clean and comfortable condo and only 10 minute walk to the beach. A/C worked great when it got hot. Includes all the toys you could ever need for the beach. Multiple pools and clubhouse were very nice additions. Only downside was the cabinets. They worked great but paint is peeling on many of the doors. Not a big deal though. I would definitely return!

We loved staying at this property. I was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable too. It has a walking path close by, to all the fancy hotels. It was great to start our days with a nice walk or delicious breakfast at the Grand Wailea or Humble Market Kitchen. The only thing I will say is that there is a hill you have to walk up when you are at the beach or the main pool. This may be hard for some people if they are not physically fit. We liked it because it helped us burn off the vacation calories we were eating. We hope to return someday! Thank you, Susan

This property is the perfect location for a quiet summer getaway. The pools and beach area have the same view as the noisy and overpriced resorts, but with less people - who we found to be nicer! Amenities in the unit also allow for you to stay in and cook, or just do happy hour out on the lanai. Would stay here again!
Guests should know the beach is a 5-10 minute walk up/down hill. This was not a big deal as you had great views both ways.

This place had everything we needed - direct beach access (complete with close, nice bathrooms, great for long days at the beach), comfortable places to sit in the shade, beautiful pools, excellent condo with luxurious bed, great internet, high ceilings, cute lanai. I’m embarrassed that we hardly left but this is really the best part of the island (we’ve been to Maui 4 times) and Keawakapu beach is my favorite. We would definitely return.

This unit was tidy, clean. In upper area, of EKAHI, which we preferred. A very nice view with ocean in distance. But you look out over very lush gardens which we prefer.
This unit has everything you need.
Very comfortable bed and living room furniture! Kitchen is well stocked with dishes in great condition.
A negative: the cabinets were very warn and tired
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this unit. Steps to the upper pool.

What a beautiful view. Could see whales from the lanai. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach but you can drive. It would be nice to have some barbecue grills closer. The condo is comfortable. Great furniture and warm showers. Very nice experience. Early December is very quiet. A lot louder at Christmas but everyone is respectful. Mahalo

We had a wonderful time staying at Susan’s condo. It’s exactly as described and the grounds exceeded our expectations. Go to the main pool and use the outdoor kitchen to cook. We met great people and it was a lovely vibe.
My daughter slept on the pull out sofa and it was very comfortable. Lots of space for a family of 3/4.

Clean, spacious rental. One note: this condo is at the top of the hill and a downhill/uphill walk down to the pool/beach. There is a pool within 100 feet though. The good part is you are a right next to Wailea Alanui drive, so easy to get to and walk to the shops at wailea, Marriott, Andaz. We walked down through the andaz to get to the boardwalk rather than walking the beach to avoid getting sand in our shoes at the start of the 3 mile walk along the boardwalk/hotels.

The property was lush with gardens and birds and we had a lovely view of the ocean and neighboring islands and Molakini. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the lanai watching the rising sun and changing colors the ocean and islands and boats surrounding Molokini. Five minute walk down the green belt to great snorkeling and turtle watching. The large pool and new lanai provided clean bathrooms and showers as you leave the beach. The walk back it the condo is uphill, but the lively gardens provides some shady resting spots. The condo is tasteful and cozy, provided essentials, ac and fans addi g comfort, as well as a washer dryer. Sad to leave today : (

Very clean, light, and well appointed condo in a great location.
Great location: an easy walk to the beach, the Wailea boardwalk, Shops at Wailea. A short drive up to Kihei. The unit is right next to a small pool, and a short walk up the hill from the main pool and lanai next to the beach. The property is beautifully maintained.
We really enjoyed breakfast and dinners in on the lanai with a great view.

This property was EXACTLY as presented, which isn't ALWAYS the case ... we have had places that look nothing like the photos or description once you arrive.. This beautiful home was exactly as represented .. the location was perfect with a pool only steps away .. it was a very short walk to the beach and the view from the balcony / patio was stunning. The furniture and décor were very nice, like a designer beach house. I feel like the owner really goes the extra mile with all the items, from kitchen utilities to linens to beach equipment.. Thank you for starting off our special trip ( celebrating both my birthday and our 25th Wedding anniversary ) so happily !!

This Ekahi condo was a true gem. The condo was spacious, spotless, well-maintained and beautifully decorated. Both the kitchen and bathrooms were well-equipped and well-stocked. The fans and air-conditioning kept the place nice and cool.
The view was amazing and we enjoyed sitting in the lanai watching the sunset. Susan was very easy to work with and very accommodating.

Perfect getaway for a couple of nights! Views of ocean, pool and beautiful landscaping! Condo is beautifully decorated, upgraded and has everything you need. Susan was very responsive to any questions even while she was at a wedding! Make sure to scope out the bbq areas on the property before it gets dark. Bbq’s close at 8pm (found out the hard way) but the pavilion by main pool are open until 10pm (we drove there), otherwise perfect!!!

This condo was so comfortable and well designed. It was in a perfect location with a lovely ocean view and near the swimming pool. We really enjoyed the lanai with bistro table and chairs that provided a high seat to see the full surroundings. It was in a quiet and peaceful setting. Literally from the moment you step through the front door the relaxation starts. Our impression of the condo in every aspect exceeded our expectations. This condo is great and has a ton of amenities. The kitchen was nicely stocked with a great fridge/freezer unit. Also the air conditioning works nicely. The view is wonderful from the balcony. The grounds are well kept and it is about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and clubhouse/pool. Very nice property.

This was our second time to Wailea, so we knew we would love Ekahi’s amenities and location, but we couldn’t have hoped for a better condo within the development! It is bright, with high ceilings and a great view. The sofa bed was perfect for us! It took less than three minutes to make the bed each night and put it away in the morning. Loved everything…,a lot of thoughtful touches in the gear provided, kitchen equipment, etc. We will be back!!

The condo was for my wife and I plus a 15 yr old teen. My teen slept on the sofa bed and said it was one of the most comfortable sofa bed he's slept in. Our bed was very comfortable as well. The condo was very well equipped with more things then you'll ever need. The walk down to the main pool is a bit of a drag, but having one of the reserve pools right out of the condo was really nice. The property is installing grilling locations since its no longer allowed on individual lanai's. The new one installed on the upper property is a decent location to this unit. Susan (owner) was very communicative and very nice. Our friends stayed in another unit for the same number of people and their room was not well equipped at all and the condo itself was much smaller. I would highly recommend this condo for a family of 3-4.

We loved Susan’s home! The beautiful high end touches in the bathrooms & kitchen, comfortable furniture and spacious lanai made this a first class rental!! The grounds are gorgeous and we loved the pavilion area and access to one of the best beaches in the Wailea. Having a small pool within steps of the rental was a bonus. We were impressed by how well equipped the kitchen was and the recliners were awesome at the end of a long day! Highly recommmend!!

We had a wonderful time here, it is a nice cozy place, where you can have breakfast on the lanai, with a relaxing view. Its walking distance to the beach and has all the accessories you might want on a beach, chair, umbrella, toys, etc. But when you are home you have TV, board games and a cozy place to relax.

A good locatilon for seeing sunrises, a quiet pool and more.
The condo is well equipped for all beach activities, cooking and relaxing after a active day on the island. The bed was very comfortable and the condo was clean. The furniture on the lanai was a little hard to move around but we made it work.
The distance to the Pavillion pool and ocean was a bit of a hike but a great way to get some cardio.
Overall we had a fun time here and would consider this unit if/when we return. Aloha

We have stayed in a couple of the Wailea hotels before and love the location, beaches and walking path that goes along the beach. For this trip we wanted the location but with more space and more peace and quiet than you usually get in a hotel. Susan’s condo was perfect. Ekahi village is located on a long stretch of beach and is just a short beach walk to the Wailea walking path which means you can walk to dinner at any of the hotels or to the shops at Wailea. There are also several pools to use within the complex. 41D is a bit of a walk uphill from the beach (within the condo complex) but it was worth it for the view from the balcony and kitchen. The main pool and outdoor clubhouse area look brand new.
The condo itself is spacious. The bedroom toilet doesn’t offer a lot of privacy but luckily there are two bathrooms and the bedroom and living area are both very large. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The condo also has beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogey boards, snorkels and fins that we used daily. We wanted a relaxing week and the location (walkability) and beach gear meant we could stroll down to the beach every morning, hang by the pool every afternoon/evening, watch beautiful sunsets and walk to dinner. The condo makes it easy to maximize your relaxation time. We loved the view from the balcony and the trees out the bedroom window.
Susan was super easy to work with. She sent all the info we needed ahead of time, including directions to condo, easy instructions for accessing it, parking pass, etc. In the condo there is a binder with all other info you might need. The condo has AC and several ceiling fans - some of the fans took a few minutes to figure out but all worked fine.
We loved our stay and would recommend 41D. We can’t wait to go back.

We enjoyed the view from this beautiful condo. The living space was very comfortable, great kitchen for cooking. The location was good; close to the hotels but still private. We drove to the beach rather than walked so we could bring chairs etc. It was a short drive about a quarter of a mile. Beautiful beach, great snorkeling. All in all, a wonderful experience!

The owner was very thorough in explanations and helpful hints. There were no glitches. We looked at other condos in Ekahi Village and are very happy that we chose this one. It is high on the property and thus very quiet . ( Perhaps a slight disadvantage for children ).The lanai is perfect in that there is a high table and chairs making fine visability of the ocean. There is no direct west setting sun on the lanai or other windows which makes for a comfortable dinner and cool inside temps. We never used air conditioning. The bedroom has a large sliding door and the outside landscaping provides a privacy which makes no need for draping . This unit is stocked with all beach equipment including snorkels for two, boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach towels. And as a bonus there is a very well stocked library of books.
We are pretty familiar with other choices on Wailea , but this is where we will want to return.

This was our first stay at Ekahi, and we are already looking forward to returning soon. The grounds are truly gorgeous, and although I'm sure most units were occupied, it never felt crowded. The condo is lovely & very well maintained. The view from the lanai was spectacular! My husband has some mobility issues, so we found driving closer to the main pool for beach time or to watch the sunset worked for us, because the hike up the hill was a bit daunting. Susan was terrific to work with & most accomodating. Thank you for a great 10 days!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much at this beautiful condo. The location was fantastic, close to everything in Wailea. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go and the beaches near the condo are some of the best in all of Maui. The condo was decorated nicely, extremely clean, comfortable and very well stocked. The views from the lanai and the sounds of all the wildlife were the highlights of our stay. Many of our best nights were when we stayed home in the condo and eat together on the lanai. And yes there were Mai Tai's too! The owner was a pleasure to deal with and very considerate in terms of our arrival and departure times. I would definitely stay here again and certainly will encourage my friends to stay here as well. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

My husband and myself stayed at this beautiful condo from June 24th to July 4th and it was absolutely stunning. The condo itself is very well decorated, spacious and gives you a 'homey' feeling. The view from the l?nai is spectacular. We enjoyed many morning coffees and dinners on the l?nai watching the ocean or viewing the beautiful gardens. I will definitely miss the lovely smells from the flowers. We loved the location of the condo in Wailea. We could walk to the beach or hop in the rental car and drive to the many beaches in Kihei or Makena. The condo is very well taken care of and it was an added bonus that they supplied beach chairs, umbrellas and towels (saved space in the suitcase). We hope one day to return!

This is a superb condominium in a great location. We really, really enjoyed our stay at this property, and have already recommended it to three families.
The condo was clean, very nicely decorated, and had a well-appointed kitchen. We really enjoyed the gas grill on the lanai, grilling dinner nearly every night of our stay. Coffee on the lanai in the morning hours is fantastic! While the small pool adjacent to the unit was perfect for a quick cool-off swim, our kids and us really enjoyed the beach, a quick five minute walk through the greenbelt. The snorkeling on the south end of the beach is great.
This was our first time renting a condo through VRBO, and it was positive in every way. The owner is responsive and friendly; the information and photos presented in the VRBO listing are accurate; and the process of making the reservation was very straight-forward.
After leaving this condo, we spent three more nights on Maui at a nearby resort, giving us the unique opportunity to compare the two vacation experiences (resort vs. condo) during a single trip. The time we spent in this unit was much more enjoyable for our family. Our next trip to So. Maui will hopefully include a stay at this unit!
