Excellent 2-story condo in Princeville at a (for Princeville) reasonable price. Loved the ceiling fans, air conditioning, and large size extra beds (for man-sized teenage sons). Was able to cook a lot in the kitchen (saving eating-out costs which are high in Kauai). The TVs are nice, the deck is nice, and the washer and dryer worked well. We mostly drove to the beach and hiking spots, but we did use the pool too.

Kimberlee the hostest,could not of been kinder or more helpful. ..I found her to be genuine and very caring.. ..I stayed for 2 weeks in this little bungalow with my grandson and it was ideal !! We hiked in the daytime and then came back to the pool. Swimming & hot tub combo was terrific.... I loved it ! It had all the basics we needed, and even a little porch to eat on and feel the breeze...great location..great hostest..There wasn't a downside !

Very clean unit, comfortable sleeping arrangements, good amount of cooking gear. Air conditioning is an absolute plus. Can get a little warm so helps at night to sleep comfortably but okay in morning and early day to have air off and windows open. Spacious. Had 3 adults for most of the visit and each had their own bed. 2 good sized full bathrooms. A 30 second walk to pool and grill which was convenient. Pool area was well maintained as well. A very nice hangout when just “staying in.” A short 10 min drive to Hanalei shops and beach. Has some beach gear but may need to rent some things. However the owners/managers of unit communicated well so we knew where to rent things. If cooking, grocery store is a 4 min drive away. Unit is well maintained and pretty. Their pictures are a true depiction of the unit. Parking space also very close to unit - definite plus when lugging around beach gear!

We loved this rental. The host is fantastic and very responsive. There was an issue with the internet on the 4th of July when we got there and she was back to us in minutes with a scheduled appointment for the internet company. Thats on Independence Day in the US..... The only issues were 1. No AC, which is common to not have AC in HI, but its something to keep in mind. We kind of saw it as a positive as it forced us to acclimate to the weather/humidity. 2. The windows are great and let in tons of air. IF you have the curtains open. But, if you have the curtains open then you dont have any privacy. The windows that open are on the bottom so if there were blinds or curtains that covered the stationary top 2/3 part of the windows then you could have the curtains closed with privacy and air flow. We should have taken a picture to explain it better. There was plenty of bath towels, beach towels, and bedding.Janet also has a variety of items for beach use. She also had a cooler, water filter, and ice cube trays.The unit was very clean! Shoes are not worn inside home in HI and we did not feel any sand or dirt on the floor.

This place stinks many ways. First the deception of the listing photos. Please note that your view is the rear parking lot… not this photoshopped image. Second it really stinks… think moldy basement or locker room. When we called to cancel and get our money back the agent informed us that that smell is the “musty” smell that all their properties have due to the high humidity! Really? Wow! The person we spoke to on the phone was mean, rude, hostile.Other issues include the front door lock does not work… we had to let them know about it twice. Bathroom tiles are cracked. No air conditioning but you hear the neighbors air conditioner!Kitchen… note you will be using a rusted hot plate to cook on. No blender. There was mice poop in the kitchen.Sofa actually stinks so you will be sitting on the bed or stools. The bed is so soft 2 people can’t sleep in w/out sinking.The toilet does flush it floods to the top when the unit next door runs their dishwasher.The unit is dark, dank, absolutely no air circulation.There is mould in this unit that had been just painted over. For your health and to have better Hawaiian vacation stay somewhere else and avoid places run my this agent.Don’t waste your money on this dive.

Kimberlee has created a true oasis. Before you even enter her property you will encounter a whimsical, tiny garden in the true spirit of Hawaii. Kimberlee loves gardening and most definitely has a “green thumb”. You will find local plants inside the residence that make her apartment inviting, cozy and very comfortable. We stayed with our 14 year old daughter and Kimberlee graciously allowed us to use the upstairs bedroom, which our daughter referred to as her “tree house”. You will find everything you may possibly need for a comfortable stay. The apartment is fully furnished, and the kitchen has everything one may need to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner. Kimberlee even provided beach towels and beach accessories such as beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards. The place was clean, bright, and wonderful. I ran out of books to read and started reading one of the books I found at the apartment. Kimberlee found out that I did not finish it in time and generously gifted me the book. She also accommodated our late arrival and very late departure by allowing us to stay as long as we needed. Our family truly appreciated that. Kimberlee is an amazing hostess and I would highly recommend her place.

We came to visit our daughter who lives on Oahu. We all decided to spend a few days in Kauai. This property was terrific! Kimberlee was very communicative. Had a little mix up on arrival, but I really appreciated her responsiveness and quick remedy. The place was very clean, and I have extremely high standards for cleanliness. What I really loved were all of the extras that were provided. Beach towels and chairs, a small cooler, hiking poles, umbrellas, fins and more!!! You can really tell that Kimberlee loves her property and cares for the people who stay there.

We had a really great stay here! The location is excellent and close to nearby amenities, including a grocery store. Our group of 3 loved being in Princeville and having the ability to walk along the beautiful golf course all the way down to the beach or to the local market. The host was very communicative and kind, and the condo had everything we needed and more. The bed was incredibly comfortable! This condo has AC and it was much appreciated. Parking was also close by and very convenient with a dedicated spot. We were supplied with several beach items including chairs, towels, and umbrellas. We were able to relax and enjoy our time! I stayed at this delightful studio in Princeville for 8 nights while exploring the gorgeous North Shore of Kauai. This was an ideal location: very quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to walk to shops and restaurants in Princeville and a great base for day trips to Hanalei, Ha'ena, and Kilauea. The studio was so comfortable and spacious, with a lovely lanai for relaxing and dining. The bed was very comfortable, and it was a delight to wake to the sound of birdsong. I never used the air conditioning because it wasn't hot and the ceiling fans were so pleasant, but it was available. The studio also had a nicely supplied kitchen and all kinds of beach items like chairs and snorkel equipment. Everything was spotless and decorated with style and care. I didn't want to leave! And Kimberlee was a wondeful host, so kind and easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Kimberlee for the warm welcome and peaceful stay!

We love this location and have stayed at the Sandpiper Village many times. Princeville is such a nice quiet area. The condo was nice and as expected. It could use a little touch up here and there but we have found that's the case with most places. It had all the appliances that we needed to fix meals when we wanted which was mostly breakfast. The burners on the stove are a bit uneven but they did work. It was a nice spacious place and we would defiantly stay here again.

Very clean and well-appointed studio with your own private balcony patio (lanai). The condo is filled with a lot of considerate touches: lots of outlets everywhere to charge your devices, flashlight for emergencies, ceiling fans, dish soap, sponge, little hotel-type shampoo/conditioner/soaps, hooks to hang things, old towels to wipe off mud, bug spray that I'm guessing was left from previous guests, toaster, plenty of towels, luggage racks, coolers, beach gear. My back does not like mushy matresses and this bed was fine. Whoever cleans the place does a really good job; even the knives in the drawers were evenly laid out all facing the same direction. Thanks for the stay! Communication with the property manager was good. Trying to navigate this resort area is very confusing though; not the fault of the condo, but it's tricky to figure out how to find the place and parking, esp, if it is dark, as others have said.

Close to Princeville & Hanalei, so super easy to shop or grab a cup of coffee. It’s near the golf course, where there’s a great sidewalk that wraps around it for walking exercise. Many families live in the condos around this unit, so noisy children can be an issue, especially if you want to use the pool.

Great condo, clean, everything in good shape, a small kitchen area, a super comfortable large bed in which we slept wonderfully and new bathroom with large shower. What we enjoyed most was the large lanai that we used as a living and dining room. In addition, everything you need for the beach is available. But the icing on the cake was our hostess Kimberlee. She took great care of us before and during our stay and was always available.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the North Shore and the condo was lovely to come home to each night. The pictures do not do it justice. The decor is charming and fresh, the place is spotless, and the air conditioning was refreshing. If I could make one suggestion it would be to provide a portable fan as the bathroom area gets stuffy even with the air conditioner. The place is well-appointed and Kimberlee is a terrific host. The condo is in the Sand Piper community within Princeville.

It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was warm at night and there was no air conditioning. Since the fan overhead was quite noisy when turned on we needed to use fans at the open windows to cool the studio. Also, a stove would have been more useful since we could only cook what we could grill or microwave. It was nice to have the beach chairs and towels. Overall, I would recommend this to others looking for an affordable, safe place on a beautiful piece of property.

We also had a minor theft so management changed out lock number and failed to tell us. We were locked out of our unit for 1.5 hours until I finally got someone to call me back with the new code. Excellent location with easy access to Haena via shuttle, Hanalei for shopping and dining, and lots of beautiful nearby beaches with INCREDIBLE snorkeling. The condo was a bit dated but was clean and well-stocked with just about anything you might need for a longer stay. The patio was expansive and great for coffee/breakfast in the morning and winding down in the evening. The host was attentive, checked in with us regularly, and responded quickly to inquiries. My only complaint (and it's minor because we spent little time inside during our stay) was the air conditioning/windows. The condo does not have central air. Instead, 2 portable units have been installed which were insufficient to maintain a comfortable temperature in the condo during the heat of the day. This situation was not helped by the fact that a couple of the louvered windows were damaged and couldn't be closed. We stayed in May so we just opened all the windows when we got back in the evening and it was cool enough outside to make the place comfortable reasonably quickly. The complex has a great little pool which stayed at a perfect temperature, and a fantastic (actually HOT) hot tub which helped sooth our aches after hiking, along with a couple of gas grills for community use. We would definitely stay again.
