Two things i think need to be updated on listing is there is no bunk bed. Alao, no ac i did not expect that. Location was awesome we enjoyed our stay.

It was a beautiful location and view. Loved watching the surfers and sunsets.The shower was fair and we had trouble getting the tv to work properly. The spa is really dinky and was full of bubbles.

lots of room for guests to sleep. LOVED the balcony, it was right over the water. great fun to watch the surfers from there! and the sunsets! centrally located without being too close for noise and not too far away from main strip and beaches. would stay here again!

The matress in the master bedroom needs replaced. It is awful-very obvious that it is old and that many people have slept on it. Bumps and huge body digits. Get a new onr and this rental is a 10

I think the condo and it’s listing were pretty accurate. I am new to using VRBO and Vacasa so I didn’t know the policy on supplies at the condo. (We bought lots of food but needed extra toilet paper the last day which is not usually provided)
The on site staff were very nice and even replaced a malfunctioning microwave. I slept on the pull-out couch which was decent. The fan system kept the place pretty cool except in the smallest room but extra fans were provided. There were also beach/pool items like pool noodles, straw mats and an umbrella. The main TV was big but awkwardly placed. Great spot for day trips and watching surfers in the beach!

We always stay at a Kona Bali Kai property when we come to the Big Island, because I love having the bedroom be oceanfront as well as the living space. This unit is great - had everything we needed and it’s so convenient to have Da Poke Shack downstairs! Only thing to note is that because the unit is near the very end of the property your view from the lanai is obstructed slightly to one side by the property walls. But not enough to lose any of the splendid oceanfront views.

This is a great vacation spot. A few things could be updated to make it a better place. The sun screens on the balcony need to be replaced. Also the lock to the front door. Other than that we had no problems.

View from balcony is fantastic with surfers coming out daily to ride the waves. Was a good base location for exploring the island. There is not a sandy beach here (January), but we enjoyed exploring the tide pools and wading out in the shallower areas with water shoes. The pool and jacuzzi (very small) is nice. Downsides are a lot of street noise for the back bedroom, lack of cooking pans in good shape, and a cumbersome door lock. There is no AC but the place can cool down quickly with the fans and opening up windows/doors.

Communication was great…. Vacasa texted to ask how we were doing, if we needed anything. The view was amazing! The condo was very clean and orderly.

My husband and I had stayed here a few years back for a lot less money. I guess Covid pricing had something to do with our recent visit; it was still as low as I could find for a water view. The primary downside is that the street-side bedroom has traffic noise all night long--where are people going at 3AM in a small town in the middle of nowhere?--and light pours in from the corridor. Probably not an issue for kids, but I had trouble.

The location and overall aesthetics of the property were very nice. Great view of the ocean from the balcony! Unfortunately there were area of the condo that needed some attention. Mold in the shower, dust bunnies, dirty towel and water bottle left from previous guest . Checkin was at 4:00 due to new “extensive cleaning procedures due to COVID”. However there were some over sites and general maintenance that I would have expected to have been better for this price.
