What you see is really what you get! This condo was sparkling clean and beautiful! It was perfectly situated for going to all the local beaches, and the pool was right outside the door. You could walk to the ABC store and walk to many restaurants. You almost didn't have to use the car after getting back from a full day at the beach. And, of course, if you open the back door and the screen door of the lanai, you didn't even need to use the air conditioning, which was my favorite part of all!!! If I had to list one downside, I would just advise that if you have trouble with steps, beware, there are a minimum of 18 steps that are required to get into this condo; no way around it.

We had a great experience at this property. The description matched the property well. It was comfortable, clean, and convenient. It had everything we needed for the week, and was conveniently located. Close enough to walk to the beach, coffee shops, gift shops, restaurants, etc. The condo complex was also very nice and felt safe. We had no complaints whatsoever with this place. Place was nice with two bedrooms, but no insulation in the ceiling and if the sun is shining, then will be hot. There are 3 room AC’s that help, but need to be on constantly to keep cool. The view was basically almost nice, but mostly of a parking lot, and in the corner you can see the beach. Biggest issue is it is on the 4th floor and lots of stairs. There is one elevator, but the locals say that is always broken-as it was when we were there. Fully furnished with pots, pans, wahsher and dryer which is nice. Proximity to the beaches and stores was great, just steps away (after traversing the 4 flights of stairs). I would recommend to families looking for a larger place and people who want to be close to the beach. We had fun, and host was very nice.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at this condo in Kihei. Kathryn was extremely helpful and provided all necessary information before our arrival. She even offered to refund our money if we changed our mind about staying due to the Kona Low storm that hit Hawaii just days before our planned arrival. We decided to go, and we're glad we did. The condo was as described, clean, spacious, comfortable, well-equipped with everything you will need, quiet, and just about a minute's walk to the beach, food, etc. We enjoyed lovely sunsets every evening and never had to turn on the a/c because the weather was so pleasant during our stay. We only wish we could have stayed longer. This is definitely the place we'd like to stay if we return to Maui in the future. Thank you!

it was very difficult finding the property. we arrived late and had no idea where the room was in accordance to the four buildings plus the address is not on South Kihei Road. We could not get in the room and the lights and TV were on having us think this was the wrong spot. The Pool was all little kids in the afternoons. Trowing balls and taking right over---which in most cases is fine but I know others were not thrilled. The pictures of the room and what we ere looking at were kind of off. They showed some water and other.... anyway we got an idea of the lay of the land and it got better. but??????

One of the best vacation properties we’ve ever stayed at. This place literally had everything one would need for an Hawaii vacation. You’re right on the middle of it all in Kihei. This was a perfect central hub for our travel to Maui. While we didn’t spend much time in the condo as we were always out, it felt great coming to a great home at the end of the day. Great parking and we always felt safe around the complex. We highly recommend this property! Until next time, mahalo!

Perfectly clean, modern apartment on the ground floor. Updated kitchen and bathroom. Well supplied for cooking and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. I would recommend a car when in Maui and parking here is convenient and included. Easy to park and load in groceries and our luggage. Spectacular sunsets from the beach, which is a short walk.

Thw kitxhen was well equipped. The only thing I would have changed was wood cutting boards vs plastic. Our host was fantastic in providing directions post the 1st Kona storm and great with communication duringnour stay. Great location and pool area. Nice coffee shop and stores just at the bottom of the complex and close to so many other restaurants etc. Would absolutely stay again

Amazing condo--light filled, roomy and well stocked. It had everything we needed for our week stay. So glad we chose this open, high ceiling condo since we spent more time in it than planned as we visited during the Kona storm and had a day of shelter in place followed by rainy days. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed and extra condiments and spices. Kids loved the loft. Highly recommend!!

Our stay with Dean in South Kihei was absolutely 5-star from start to finish. He was incredibly responsive and attentive, always quick to answer any questions and make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The place was exactly as described—clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. great host, great place! We loved the location and the view. The place was spotless. Only thing I would recommend is a loveseat or extra chair in living area, but the bar stools are super comfy as well as the couch. the beds were comfy, and there were plenty of towels, pool toys, beach chairs, snorkel gear, etc. we added a couple of extra pool noodles to the mix for the next guest. :) we loved our stay here and woudl definitely stay again

We very much enjoyed our stay, beautiful view of upcountry and the ocean, lots to see from the deck. Watching the humpback whales from the deck was awesome (would have loved a set of binoculars). Enjoyed the full wall of windows facing the ocean. The unit was quiet and very comfortable. The property is well kept and clean. The beds were not very comfortable for a long stay. We cooked every night in the fully stocked kitchen (good quality knives) and took advantage of the well kept/clean BBQ area. Appreciated the storage containers for leftovers and snacks for the beach. We enjoyed the pool area and hot tub in the evening. Lots of towels and in-house laundry was handy. Love the central location, close walk to the beach, coffee shops, ABC, Hawaiian Moon etc.Chairs and umbrella available to use, would have loved a couple of boogie boards, buckets etc for a family. We have stayed in a number of different condos over the years and found this condo to have very few “extras” such as beach toys, books, board games and previously mention binoculars. We had a few rainy/windy days and spent a bit more time in the condo, these extras would have been nice. The property management company was very attentive and available to make sure our stay was great. Instructions for arrival and exit clear and helpful.

The location was great and had a beautiful view of the ocean and mountains. The condo was very comfortable and except for the roach infestation in the kitchen. Although there is an explanation that this is a tropical island and to expect pests, I had 3 sets of friends staying within one mile of our condo and staying at three different locations, no one complained of roaches in their condo. I called Maui Paradise Properties and stated I kept all my food including nonperishables in the refrigerator, I still had issues. I wiped the kitchen counters before I went to bed and we also purchased roach hotels and Raid to no avail. I would love to speak to the condo owner and let them know how their condo is being managed. It’s a shame and if it wasn’t for the roach infestation I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

This condo was great! The location was perfect for walking to one of the best beaches in Maui. It’s close to many fantastic restaurants and shops. The owners have created a comfortable home to enjoy your stay with lots of extras such as snorkeling equipment and boogie boards to play at the beach. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to create great meals on site with BBQ’s by the pool as well. The owner was always quick to respond to me with any questions I had to enhance our experience.

Host communication was clear and helpful. The unit itself was large, but a bit out dated. The air conditioning had a one hour timer and was quite loud and far from the bedroom. Also the bed and pillows were not the overly comfortable. There were a lot of beach supplies which was appreciated. A suggestion to add some games in the unit would a nice. Location was a big plus!

Such an amazing spot. We have been coming for 5 years to Kīhei Ali Kai and this was our first year in the unit. It absolutely made the vacation better. The unit is clean. Bright. Not crowded. I'd come back to this condo in a heartbeat, it had everything we needed and was in such a perfect location easily walkable to the beautiful Kam beaches and many eateries. The unit was clean and comfortable, and more spacious than I expected. We rarely needed the AC and enjoyed having a screen door on the front door and lanai to let air flow freely. Lots of closets with useful items, and the kitchen was well-stocked. I reached out to Maui Rentals once with a question, and they responded in a timely manner and were helpful.

Accommodation was fantastic and worked great for our larger group of 6! Close walk to stores and restaurants and great beaches. Enjoyed morning coffee and dinners on the ground floor patio and dinning table! Snorkelled most days and saw sea turtles each time at a beach within a 10 min walk! Amazing host and location!
