I think the best thing to say is that if we come back we'll check if this listing is available before we look elsewhere. The description and pictures in the listing are accurate, so I won't waste time redescribing the place. What made it special is how quiet it was. The lanai (although a little chicken-infested) faces an empty lot, so you get a view out onto the ocean that, while not completely unobstructed, doesn't include anybody walking or driving by. The sense of peaceful seclusion really made the stay extra special as we were able to enjoy the quiet times in the condo in the mornings, evenings, and between activities. Loved every moment of it.

We had such a wonderful time in Kihei. This condo was amazing! It had everything you needed beach supplies, curling irons, washer and dryer ,honestly all the comforts of home. It was so peaceful and quiet. We rarely saw anyone. We love the lanai. we were just minutes away from the beach. Lora was wonderful to work with. She was always quick to respond to our questions. Our time here was amazing and we can’t wait to come back!

This Kihei condo was absolutely everything we needed to stay on Maui for Christmas. It was conveniently located to the beach, amenities and restaurants. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful during our stay. Can't thank her enough!

We had a great week staying at Lora's condo in Kihei.
The condo was equipped with everything you'll need for a great stay. The bed was very comfortable which led to too much sleeping in. We also especially enjoyed the ground level lanai in the morning. There is green space adjacent to the property giving you a nice view of the ocean in the distance from the lanai. Chickens come by for some extra entertainment as well! Kamaole beach is just a couple block walk from the condo. We explored all three Kamaole beaches finding some great snorkeling turtle time on the point between 1 and 2. Great shops and restaurants adjacent to the property and many more a short drive away. We had a great stay!

A very clean property and staff very friendly. Close to shops and beach. Unit we stay'd in was well equiped and very clean and tidy. We found it quiet and easy access. 13 miles to Airport .

The only great thing about the property was that it was on Maui. It was like stepping into 1978 and was dark and dreary. The condo did have a great modern kitchen. There must have been a broken sewage pipe because there were plumbing trucks there the whole week and the grounds smelled like sewage. The worst part of all was the manager, he always look mad. On the first day he snapped at me for parking on the wrong side of a parking lot. I said I rented a condo from the owner. He rudely said I was not THE owner! No aloha from the onsite mgr!

We had a little confusion when we arrived at the property as we hadn’t received an email from the property owner as we left Canada. I figured it would arrive while we were in transit but it didn’t. We arrived late at night (10:30) and were able to connect with Lora, got in the suite and everything was perfect from there forward. My only suggestion would be to make sure you receive details of the lockbox code before you get on your plane.
The suite was great and very clean. Had everything we wanted and needed and then even more like a great knife sharpener and a room safe. The ground floor deck area looks out to a a grassy area with a field and the ocean beyond.. every morning we sat and drank our coffee on the patio listening to birds, rooster and quiet.
The pool area was almost always empty and so were the bbq areas. Upstairs by the pickleball courts was a 2nd bbq area with chairs, shade and more quiet. It was fantastic.
We have stayed in Kihei many times but this was our favourite location. Tons of parking, close to Maui Fish’n Chips, Maui Bread Company, That’s a Wrap, ABC, Thai food, the beach and more. Every night we walked down to the beach to watch the sunset and then a stop for gelato on the way back to the condo. We really appreciated some air conditioning in the living room along with in suite laundry.
To summarize, Lora was great, the condo was awesome, the location was perfect for us and super convenient to everything we wanted. We will gladly book with Lora again!

Lora's condo couldn't be in a better place in Kihei - central to everything and steps to food/stores that you'll need.
Amenities were great and condo was clean and just as advertised. It comes with everything that a traveler could need and the beach equipment was definitely a plus.
Would stay here again if we came back to Kihei!

Lora’s place was perfect. Great location with the beach across the street. Shops and restaurants in walking distance. Lora’s place has everything you need in her place and then some. We loved having all the beach equipment there including towels and with the washer and dryer you could wash them up and be ready for the next day. Plenty of kitchen supplies so you didn’t feel like you had to do dishes all the time. Plentiful parking and we felt safe the entire time. Also very quiet. Lora’s place helped make our Maui experience fantastic!! Lora was very prompt with responses and we appreciated that even though we didn’t need her at all when we were there. Thank you Lora for a great place!

Had a great stay, the location is perfect and the condo is nice and quiet. This place has a great view for a ground floor unit. The beach and numerous restaurants are just a quick walk away. We also really enjoyed the pool and both barbecue areas. All in all, it was a great place and we would highly recommend.

Very cozy place! We were only supposed to have two guests but had four and a toddler and it was comfortably accommodated. Short walk to the beach, tons of beach accessories for guests to use. Easy check in process. Parking isn't far.

We have stayed at Alii Kai for the 4th time now in 3 years. We have always stayed with the same owner in a different unit and it has always been fabulous. We were pleasantly surprised when we found a unit at the same complex. Although the decor was current and beds were comfortable, there was much to be desired. Cleanliness was a huge disappointment. There was a half eaten chip bag and wrappers underneath the masterbed. Most silverware was dirty with old food stuck to it land glasses were not cleaned well at all. Bath towels were “industrial”, obviously have not been changed in years and were very rough on the skin. Found many dead moths throughout the unit and a very large dead roach in front of the TV in the main room. Hot water in the shower takes a little while to get hot, and does not stay hot for very long. Definitely not enough for even two people to take a hot shower.
Snorkeling gear provided needs to be replaced, for it does not work at all…it is old and out dated. Plan on either bringing your own or spending a few bucks on renting or buying your own.

We did it all online without any trouble. All the information on the condo and it’s whereabouts were easy. It’s across the street from the beach in the cool little town of Kihei. We picked Kihei for its central location to many of the activities we wanted to go do and see.

We absolutely enjoyed our time at the place. Great location - beach just a block away, plenty of restaurants at a walking distance and grocery stores within a mile as well.
The condo itself was well furnished. We particularly enjoyed cooking our evening meals at the place (great cookware). There is no AC in the bedroom (it was a bit hot in July) so we slept on the sofa bed in the living room which was equally comfortable, and plenty spacious.
Finally, the lanai at the back was very enjoyable - a nice lawn where our 3 yr old daughter would run around as soon as we got back in the evening. Also a table and chairs to eat our breakfast / dinner in the lanai.

We had a great time! The property has everything you could need, towels, dishes, beach equipment. When it was hot and humid, you can turn on the ceiling fans or the AC, or go out to the pool or down a block to the ocean. Great restaurants within walking distance. A lovely stay!

The condo was exactly as described in the online description. Once we found the correct car park (not the first car park you come to, but up the street at the end of the street), and figured out the path to the condo (a bit of zig zagging) we immediately just started "living" there.
The best thing about this property is its proximity to the beach. We went to the beach to see the sunset more than once. It's also a great beach for swimming.
The owners were not on the island at the time we were there, so we did not get to meet them. They left detailed instructions, so we did not have a need to contact them for anything. However they did check on us to make sure we got there and everything was okay.
In summary, we felt right at home in this condo, which made a fantastic visit to Maui that much more fantastic.

The property is beautiful and quiet. Right across the street from the beach, which is generally not crowded, and walking distance to restaurants, groceries and food.
