This condo has it all. Very well decorated and taken care of. The kitchen has super nice appliances and every utensil you could want. A larger than normal lanai with loungers and a table and chairs and a view of the wind turbines. The complex is quiet, well maintained and has a great swimming pool area. Highly recommend.

This unit was quite comfortable and well outfitted with kitchen utensils and beach toys. The ventilation was better than it has been in most other warm places we have stayed, with two fans in both the bedroom and the living room. We had a hard time making the air conditioner work, but the heavy drapes kept the strongest afternoon heat from making the unit unbearable. The lanai table wasn't in great shape since the plexiglass top didn't cover the whole wooden surface, but it was still nice to relax in the shade there before the afternoon sun encroached on it. The view was pleasant but not spectacular, except of the stars on clear nights -- wow! The whole complex seemed well maintained, quiet and safe. It would have been difficult for people who have trouble climbing up and down stairs to get around there, but it worked well for able-bodied folks. The best thing about this place is its proximity to a lovely sandy beach and lots of good restaurants!

Nice space, large enough to comfortably accommodate 3 adults and 2 children. Pool and outdoor space were clean and inviting. Airconditioning kept us cool. Location is close to the beach and many activities. We had a little difficulty contacting owners on day of arrival but they were pleasant and otherwise easy to communicate with. We would stay there again and recommend!

This unit is perfectly located and thoroughly equipped. No need to rent snorkel gear, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, or beach toys-- it was all there, and more! A cozy bed with loads of pillows, blackout curtains, two blenders, a step stool, a small pack-n-play, and a surprisingly functional and comfy hide-a-bed were just a few of the homey touches that we enjoyed. The dishwasher and washer/dryer were nicer appliances than the ones we have at home. Kitchen layout was intuitive and functional (again, nicer than our kitchen at home). The turquoise decor made us feel like we were at the beach, even when we were still inside. The only bummer about the B and D buildings at Kihei Ali'i Kai is that the afternoon sun hits the lanai pretty strong, and that can heat things up in the afternoon, but Tabbi and Marc have mitigated this with a super functional full-length curtain and strong AC unit. We ran AC for a few hours every afternoon for nap time, and the rest of the time we left it off and opened doors/windows to enjoy a crossbreeze through the screens. The lanai has a nice hedge around it which helps with privacy (and/or escaping toddlers), but it's also crazy convenient to parking and the beach. We used a wagon to go to and fro, and it was so convenient not to have to worry about stairs or elevators. I'm already dreaming of a return trip, and I hope this unit is available again because I would re-book without hesitation! MAHALO, Tabbi and Marc!

Disturbing that our sheets and towels were washed in that. Did not use washer at all. Dryer lint catcher does not fit all the way down and snagged clothing—swim suit cover up dress and the strap got caught on the end of the lint catcher and broke the strap! bathroom fan is old and uncomfortably loud. Shower curtain very lightweight. Needs weighted bottom to the curtain. Bedroom ceiling light blinks like it’s on the fritz! Comforter set-up is terrible.Kept coming apart during the night. It’s a throw blanket placed in between two flat sheetsThere was standing water in shower. It was fixed the next day. Loud buzzing/vibrating noise from AC! Hard to sleep! Technician came but couldn’t fix. Customer service told us the pump would be fixed on Monday, which was Presidents’ Day holiday, so I doubt it. AND they knew we were checking out by 10am Monday, so that wasn’t helpful to us. This noise kept us up at nights and jolted us awake. It was a very unpleasant sleeping experience—we would not rent this condo because of this noise. It’s unacceptable and we can’t believe others are okay with the noise. AC condensation dripped on me while I was sleeping. The AC location above the bed is so bad.

Located in our favorite complex just above Kamaole I Beach/Park. Short walk down the hill to this beautiful gem. Host had lots of beach chairs, umbrellas, kids toys, cooler and towels to make the beach visit even more enjoyable. Lots of nearby restaurants, take-out and our new favorite, the food trucks at South Maui Gardens. Boss Frogs next door has bikes, golf clubs and snorkel gear. Something for everyone in the family and an easy walk.Short walk to the Kihei boat launch for whale watching or snorkeling with Redline, our favorite.Make sure you hit Costco on arrival and use the nearby Safeway as needed. If you drink the hard stuff, which we don't, alcohol at Costco is scary cheap. Befriend the many incredibly friendly Canadians at the pool, BBQs or beach. Nicest people in the world.Everything was wonderful. Plenty of space for six adults and two infants. Washer and dryer as well as coffee filters and first days coffee.We will try to stay here again. Grace was very helpful.

My wife and I had a terrific stay in Kihei. The location of the property is perfect - one block from the beach but still quiet and private. There are numerous restaurants and shops within close walking distance. The newly updated unit was as advertised. It's on the ground floor and the ocean-facing lanai is nicely protected by a beautiful hedge and awning shades. Dean is very communicative and helpful. He even apologized for a very minor issue with a bathroom cabinet hinge! Thanks Dean. We'll be back for a future visit to beautiful Maui.

This property is condo-walking distance to beach, food & shopping as it is located in the middle of Kihei so you are very close to the ocean, the fantastic beaches and the many shops and stores.The condo is very clean and well stocked with any items that you would need during your stay including beach chairs, beach umbrella, snorkel / fins and boogie boards. We really enjoyed deck area as it has a great view as we spent a lot of time enjoying the warm sunny weather throughout our 2 week stay. We also enjoyed the pool area as a break from the beach on windy days as it is very sheltered.Justin and Anna were fantastic hosts as they communicated quickly with us during check in and check out. We loved our stay here in Kihei! This condo was in the perfect location, just a short walk from the beach. Kihei is a nice relaxing area, and the condo complex is located within walking distance of many great restaurants as well as the beach. Everything in the condo was as shown. The A/C is a little loud, but weather was nice enough to open the doors for a nice breeze and leave the a/c off most of the time. We would not hesitate to rent this unit again!

We had an absolutely lovely time at Carol’s Vrbo. Everything is clearly marked and so many things available for use. She was always quick to respond to a question (even before our stay) and had great suggestions. I had my senior folks with me with mobility challenges and this location was so easy from the parking lot with the elevator. I read on a review that it was an inclined walk to the road and although it was an easy walk for me, we never attempted with my folks. The location was quiet yet close to everything. And after our second time I do think Kamaole beaches are THE best. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Kihei Alii Kai was a great experience overall. We love the location, that's why we picked it. The Kamaole one beach is a short walk down the street, and we love that beach.The bbq and pool are just a quick walk down the stairs and you can see right out the door if the bbq is busy and ready to use as we do a lot of cooking at home on holidays.The patio is quite large, we used it everyday for coffee, lunch and supper. It's never full on sun so it's easy to sit out there without roasting.The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, although there could be steak knives and plastic serving platters for outdoor bbqing. A few plastic wine glasses for pool area would be welcoming.We loved the bathroom shower!Thank you Rachel for your awesome hosting! We'll be back.

Excellent condo. We've been to Kihei many times but this is the first time in this condo. It's is very large and the split A/C is outstanding. Huge Lanaii. All the beach toys you need. Kitchen is very clean and nice and had everything you would want. The problem with the bedroom is that it is perfect if you want darkness, cool and an amazing bed. Sometimes it was hard to get up but the beach was calling! As it is in the front building so close to the beach. Would stay here again for sure. The couch looks like a good option for kids. Lots of extra bedding. Also lots of starter toilet paper, soap etc. This is a five star rental.

The condo is located up the road from a beautiful beach with all equipment you need to enjoy it, e.g. beach chairs, boogie boards, sun umbrella etc. in a box on the balcony from which the ocean is partially visible.
