We had an absolute great time at Arlie's place. Location is great to lots of good food and right across from Kam 1 beach. Kids loved being able to use the boogie boards and adults loved the Tommy bahama chairs available to take down to the beach. Thanks!

We had a great stay. Everything was well laid out, instructions clear. Clean. Perfect location, across the street from the beach. Google maps made it seem faster than it actually is. Being next to the mini msll, gas station, and grocery store were super convenient for us. Lots of turtles across the street. We used the BBQ by the pool lots.

This was the second time in a row that we stayed at this rental in Maui. It's fantastic and we can't wait to come back again. The hosts are great. The place has an awesome location and and we loved sitting on the balcony in the morning to watch the birds and at night to see the stars. We even saw a few humpback whales from the balcony with our binoculars. This place brings us a lot of peace and we will be back again.

Wonderful and perfect location! Beaches are across the street and easily walked over anytime we wanted! Shops, restaurants, and grocery are all walking distance from the condo. Enjoyed daily sunsets, bakery and gelato nearby, lanai was great for morning coffee, relaxing, and star gazing! Condo is very clean, quiet, with lots of room to relax. We are ready to go back!

Our family gathered from three states to vacation together. Elisabeth's place let us all be together. The kitchen is well stocked and the location is wonderful. Elisabeth is very responsive and worked with us on our check in time in a way that made our arrival much better for our family. Having a washer and dryer was also a huge plus to our trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this South Kihei property !! You are steps from the beach ,walking distance to markets , restaurants and shops, and only a 20-30min car ride away from most towns / attractions if you’re heading out to explore! Deans communication was top notch pre trip , during our stay and post stay and I appreciated all the checkins ! Parking is first come , first serve , but we rarely had an issue finding a spot close to the condos main access. The AC worked great and we didn’t find we even needed it much as the ceiling fan in the bedroom kept us cool and comfortable overnight . We enjoyed breakfasts / quiet mornings on the lanai and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals at the condo. The condo has beach chairs , an umbrella and two coolers! I loved the Hawaiian Moons Natural Foods just around the corner from the condo , super convenient and great selection!! Make sure to try Fred’s Mexican Cafe - walking distance from the condo ( beef and pork tacos were delicious)!
You won’t regret staying here !! We can’t wait to return !

Kathryn is an amazing host!! This place is close to the beach to enjoy the sunset and go for swimming. There are nice restaurants nearby and stores. We would love to come back again and stay here. This condo was exactly what our family of 4 needed! A clean, comfortable condo in a great location on Kihei. We loved the updated kitchen and bathroom(with a really great shower after a long day on the beach)! The bbq areas on the property were close by and aided in some great meals. The condo was stocked with everything you may need, and the new air conditioning unit was a treat. The spacious Lanai was a great place to relax and unwind in the evenings. I would recommend this unit to family and friends. Eve was very pleasant and super responsive to any questions that we had throughout the whole rental process. Thank you so much for extending your little piece of paradise to us!

This condo worked great for our family, close to beach, restaurants, shopping. Short drive to airport. Easy access to all parts of the island. Multiple beds in loft worked perfectly for our teenage kids. Took advantage of the provided beach equipment also. The few issues we had were solved quickly by owner. Only downside is it is a bit older/dated, but not an issue for our family. Would stay again.

Great location and view but given the location near a retail area it is a bit noisy. Very walkable to restaurants, shops and beach. Kitchen well equipped. Bedding could be upgraded. Hide a bed ok but typical hide a bed mattress.

The condo is exactly as described. Very updated and comfortable! The kitchen is supplied very well, we did not need anything! Four beach towels, cooler bags, beach chairs, umbrella and a boogie board (only one though), were available for beach days! Kihei Alii Kai is in the perfect location in the heart of Kihei. Close to beaches, shopping and a lot of restaurants, bakeries, coffee, shaved ice spots! The condo’s pool is clean, lots of pool chairs and a nice shaded BBQ area! The pool washrooms/showers are a nice touch to not have to run back to your room! The lanai at the condo was perfectly shaded all day which we really liked! No beating hot sun during Happy Hour! The only negative for us was that the bed is VERY firm. It could use a plush mattress topper to help provide a more comfortable sleep! We would definitely stay again!

Great location, clean and well stocked condo. Numerous cafes and fine dining choices within a couple blocks. A Natural grocery store a block away. Loved sitting on the patio in the morning watching the roosters, hens and chicks. Listening to a choir of birds while having our morning coffee. The living room TV is very small for todays standards. The plus on the ocean view is you are actually looking at the parking lot, dumpster and smoking bench while the view shown online pic is edited to only show the small peek of ocean. Location and condo were top notch but we will opt for oceanfront next visit. Vacasa was excellent to work with.

Great place to pitch camp while we travelled around the Maui. The decor supports the island vibe and scratched my Tiki itch. Easy walks from here to several eateries and a grocery store (Hawaiian Moon’s). The bed and couch were comfy for catching up on sleep. Can’t tell you about the TVs though. Never turned them on. Why spoil paradise with intrusions from the real world.

This condo is cozy and well-furnished. We enjoyed the kitchen and cooked most of our meals there. The bedroom and bathroom are comfortable, and there was plenty of room to unpack and store our clothes. It took us a minute to find the easy way up from the parking lot - there's an elevator, to our relief. We were a block from a lovely beach and park, and two blocks from the nearest ABC store. For cooks, there's a Foodland grocery store about a mile away, where we shopped the first day. After that, we supplemented from the ABC store. The view from the balcony was a disappointment, but not a big enough disappointment to keep us inside. We enjoyed watching the chickens parade around the parking lot every morning while we ate our breakfast, and we watched the sun set while we drank a glass of wine in the evening.

This is the fourth time to Maui and our third time on the Kihei Alii Kai condo complex because it’s our favourite place to stay in Maui! The condo is in a location, walking distance to many South Kihei shops and restaurants, and Kameole I, II and III beaches. The condo itself was clean, was well-stocked, and the views from the Lanai are hard to beat! We were travelling with kids and did find that the condo didn’t have much in the way of beach gear (especially for kids) but there are two rental shops within walking distance and it wasn’t enough to detract from our vacation experience!
The host, AA Oceanfront Rentals were very helpful, responsive and friendly! We would definitely stay at this condo again.

The condo is as advertised. The location is great for getting around to places in Kihei and Wailea. You can walk to beaches, restaurants and shops. The king size bed is very comfortable and unusually cool weather combined for restful nights. Vacasa provided a nice welcome-to-Maui kit (snacks, kukui leis, and such).
While all these are positives, be aware the unit itself is woefully bare of essentials we have come to expect in other condos we’ve stayed at on Maui. Kitchen is set up for 1-2 people, with only a few plates, glasses and such in the cupboards. No storage containers. Also, there’s no dining table, no cocktail table (we used a bench as that). There are no hooks to hang clothes or hats anywhere in the unit. It’s almost as if the owner has remodeled the kitchen and bathroom and has yet to finalize decorating. That said, we’d wholeheartedly recommend staying here; just be aware of what is provided and what’s not.

The location of the condo was great and the condo was really clean. The location at Kamaole I beach is ideal for families. The pool and spa were great to finish ours days. The listing is complete (we did not miss anything), accurate and everything worked appropriately. Communications with the owner was easy. The owners were responding quickly. The checkin instructions were clear, and received well enough in advance so that the checkin process was easy and fast. Checout process was also easy to do. No excessive requirements to do.
We definitively had a great time, and we thank you for that. We definitvely recommend this location.

Have stayed at the condo before. This year owners did a few renovations. Place look's great, new paint flooring, living room furniture. The new bed is to die for, firm which to most is a big plus. The new mirror in bathroom is LED. You can actually see when putting on makeup. Great location everything you need is within 15 minutes walking. We don't rent a car. Uber is very good. Love the condo

Our family enjoyed our stay at this penthouse condo unit. Our group consisted of elderly grandparents, young adults (in their 20s) and our young family with two infants. Yet, the condo was prepared such that everyone had something to enjoy. It was in a great location at Kihei and we were provided with lots of beach amenities (beach chairs, towels, toys!), a kitchen with great basics and a lovely patio overlooking the ocean where, given this time of the year, we were able to see whales during sunset. We had some trouble locating the unit when we first arrived but the property manager was fast in responding despite being well past midnight. Also, we did have an issues with the electricity that was quickly resolved by the house owner. That was all greatly appreciated.

We had a wonderful stay in this condo. We were a group of 8 family 4 plus two set of grandparents and there was enough space for everyone.
We enjoyed being able to cook some meals in as well as eat out on many of the restaurants within walking distance.
We spent a lot of time at Kamaole Beach 1 which was a short walk ( even for littles) and prefect for snorkeling, swimming and using boogie boards.
We appreciated the using the beach supplies provided ( beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and boogie boards).
The lanai was large and offered ocean views and we could see whale slashes :)

The location of the property was well situated to the beach and lots of shopping/restaurants. The pool is small and forgettable. Guest parking can be a good walk from your unit depending on which building you’re in. The unit itself is nice, great views of the sunset. It was well stocked with everything we needed.

Disappointed with the stay, but here is the truth and you decide.
After a long travel day, we arrived at midnight. Sunny Maui Vacations was informed that we would be arriving after 11:00pm. The code they gave us to get into the suite did not work. We spent 30 minutes on the phone, and received the correct code. When we entered the condo, we were immediately met by a nasty stale and mildew odor. The property management group had not aired out the condo or started the air conditioning. There was not a welcome card, a bowl of fruit, a package of coffee for morning - not even a welcome bottle of water in the fridge. The next day we opened everything up to air out the place and bought some Febreze. We contacted Sunny Maui Vacations and they said they could send someone over with some air fresheners. We said don't bother, as we had begun to let in Maui's wonderful sea air. There was a list of other problems which we sent to Sunny Maui Vacations when we left, so they could fix things up for the next customer. We spent thousands of dollars to rent for two weeks and they reimbursed us $100. Sunny Maui Vacations was quick to answer the phone or reply to an email, but that doesn't make a good vacation property manager. That stuff is easy.
Until they removed the musty items (carpet, furniture, wood blind over the glass door), the bad air problem will persist. This condo needs a major reno with new furniture.

The Condo location to the ocean, pool area and grounds are excellent and well maintained. The Condo itself provided everything we needed for our stay however it does need a cleaning/paint refresh and some minor repairs. The Kitchen was updated and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in Kihei.

The condo was clean and well stocked. Beautiful white sand beach right across the street. Numerous places to eat from cafes to fine dining within a couple blocks. This is our second year at this condo - and in the last year the owners made several updates - including AC which we did not end up needing - but a fresh paint job - some tasteful decorating - an update to the Bathroom and we fell in love all over again - kitchen is nicely stocked
