Great clean unit in very convenient Kamaole Sands. The property management is very responsive. Everything was good except that the towels provided (bath and for beach) are minimum amount while the washer is small and the dryer really did not work that well. The management gives detailed information prior to checking in including all the supplies but getting just one set of small motel type shampoo and soap for a week stay in today’s Maui rental was a bit surprising. There also was no Kleenex :(However, it is a great place for a group of six to enjoy the beautiful Maui

We have made many trips to Kihei and stayed at several condo buldings there. PROS: Kam Sands is one of the better complexes, with a large and lively pool. Your kids can meet other kids. This unit is somewhat rare in that it has two enclosed bedrooms, versus one bedroom and an open loft as the second BR. This unit is decently updated. Vacasa mgmt made logistics easy. Kitchen supplied pretty well, and chairs, boogie boards, sand toys in outside closet. CONS: this is one of the only units in the entire complex with ZERO view from its lanai, which is blocked by large palm trees. Its lanai is also directly above the office area used by the complex's landscaping crew. They arrived early every day and were quite loud. You also get a fair bit of noise from people walking by below the lanai, given the unit is located on a corner. The TVs in this unit are small and old (not smart, other than the living room). This may not matter, as you are in Maui after all. But we were there during holiday college football, and were underwhelmed compared to what our other family members had in other units. Washing machine is loud AF. A/C unit also old and loud.

Overall the unit was as described in the listing. Appreciated the beach supplies (chairs, umbrellas etc) which made our time at the beach really enjoyable. The place could use more towels, and likely new ones. We found we were having to do a lot of laundry quite often and the towels didn’t seem to really come clean in the wash. Bed and linens were fresh and comfy and location was great.

Home was clean. Kitchen was equipped with basic appliances like rice cooker, coffee maker, Tupperware ,ice packs ,small cooler bags ect. It had boogie boards for all family members,some sand toys, beach chairs,umbrellas as well as some fins for snorkeling. I would have expected 1-2 extra blankets so we don't have to share with other people. We prefer individual blankets. Overall We enjoyed our 1 week long stay here.

Everything was fantastic very clean and welcoming. When arrived late at night the AC was turned on along with lights a simple touch but very nice. Another bonus is they don’t empty the drawers of everything. There are some basic items ziplocks/cling wrap/olive oil etc….. I know you can’t rely on what’s there but it’s nice to know somethings might be there.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The location made it easy to step out and be at the beach or restaurants in just a couple of minutes, and the overall setting was excellent and close to everything we needed. There is construction going on in the units adjacent but the noise only took place after 8am. The newly refinished kitchen was clean, modern, and well‐equipped. The property owners/management were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We did encounter a small issue but they addressed it quickly and professionally, and it truly wasn’t the owners’ fault nor did it detract from our visit. The condo also provided practical touches like beach chairs and various amenities that made our beach time and daily routines easier.In terms of space, it was a very good size for the two of us, comfortable without feeling cramped. Overall, this is a great beach‐adjacent spot with attentive management and thoughtful updates. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to couples or anyone looking for easy beach access and a well maintained condo.

The townhouse was large with all the amenities needed for a large family to live for a week! The accommodation was also very clean throughout! The location is excellent, right across from Kamaole III Beach. The condo was clean and worked well for our family of four. There was some construction above us for a couple of days, but we were rarely there during the day so it didn’t impact our stay much. The kitchen was lightly stocked, but it was easy to pick up anything we needed nearby. Parking was a bit tight, but we were always able to find a spot. The pool and BBQ areas were great, and we really enjoyed meeting and chatting with other guests. Overall, it was great and I would highly recommend to others!

Pro's: location was great, kitchen had lots of pots and pans, was spacious, beds were comfortable. They do provide beach chairs and a couple of boogie boards and a cooler on wheels.Con's: AC was only in the main area and did not work very well, we found it difficult to sleep due to the heat. The ceiling fan in the small bedroom doesn't work. The bathroom fan in the master bedroom doesn't work. Both bathrooms need renovating or updating. The kitchen had no amenities like salt or pepper, no sugar, no tinfoil or plastic wrap. The main bathroom fan in on it's last legs, stops working by the end of your shower. Not a terrible unit but could definitely use some TLC.

Beach view? Like everyone at Kamaole Sands, we had to look around the corner of our balcony to get a look at the beach. It wasn't exactly what we'd call an Oceanview. Room is not "Newly Remodeled"; remodel was a few years ago. But room was clean, spacious; and we liked having 2 bathrooms. Bed was very comfortable.Room provided some helpful amenities like beach chairs/mats, insulated cooler, insect repellant, kitchen extras like plastic wrap for leftovers. Handle of screen door fell off a few times until my husband found some adhesive and got it to stay on. Water backs up in the kitchen sink. Sink in master bathroom has a plug that sticks and then doesn't drain.

The condo was very well stocked from the kitchen to the restrooms and cleaning supplies. It feels like home and while some things were used nothing was worn out. Communication with the owner was wonderful during the stay and responses to inquiries were very prompt. We were allowed a later checkout, which helped as we had an evening flight, which we were very grateful for! There was a total of three adults and two teenagers which we felt very comfortable throughout our stay in this unit.

I love the grounds here. Have stayed in building 10 before which is amazing. This time staying in building 5 which is closer to the pool. It was nice with the views over the gardens and the ocean in the background. The condo its self was decent! Our only complaint was the air conditioner in main bedroom was broken and it took 4 days out of our 8 days there to fix. The trade winds were minimal so it got warm in there without movement. And the condo could used a good deep cleaning in the corners. The property manager was responsive which was nice but unfortunate it sounded like they knew this was a possibility but didn’t fix prior to us getting there. Overall I would stay in Kamaole Sands every time in Maui!

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and so is the unit. It’s very comfortable and in a great location. You have an ocean and sunset view from your lanai. It’s a short walk across the street to Kamaole Beach 3. There are also beach chairs, an umbrella and a couple cooler options for beach days. It’s a beautiful place. The host is very thoughtful and easy to communicate with.

We stayed for 11 nights (2 adults, 1 small child). Liz was great at responding to messages in a timely manner which is always appreciated. The condo has basics that you’d need and is in a great location across from beautiful beaches & parks. Unfortunately, there was a lot of construction going on which was very disruptive. We were told no construction would be happening in Liz’s building, but that turned out to be not true. Also, the lanai overlooks a busy service road to other condos, so road noise was also a factor in this review. Pros: location, amenities (pool, hot tub, gym), lots of parking available, beach supplies (chairs, umbrella, cooler, toys!)Cons: AC unit only in living room, construction noise, street noise, cleanliness

No air conditioning in bedroom, had a small window unit ( in wall ) in living room, air never made it to bedroom. The floor turned your feet jet black within 3 steps of walking on it. The laundry room is on the other side of the living room wall, and at 6:50 am every day the truck backs up to make the exchange of dirty laundry ( got to love the back up beeper ! It's also where all the construction trucks park in the am.....clocks don't work, bath tubs dirty, crappy kitchen utensils and don't forget the guard shack next door.....we called Caldwell Banker ( Manage property ) Jerimiah didn't even offer to have the dump cleaned after telling him how dirty it was, JUST DON'T CARE !!! This unit should not be rented !!!!! Mold on all fans !!!
