The most gorgeous view! We loved watching the waves roll in and the majestic mountains while listening to the birds chirping; so beautiful! Laurie was a wonderful host and commentator as well. The king size bed was very comfortable and it was great to have access to the beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler. The resort is lovely as well with such pretty landscaping and a relaxing pool area with soothing water falls. Thanks for having us, Laurie!

Our stay was incredible! The view from the room was spectacular. And the bed was extremely comfortable. Was also great to have laundry in the room. We did have a few issues with not getting a pickup from the beach when we called, and Wiki pizza closing early due to not enough dough. Otherwise, the stay was amazing and would recommend!

The room had the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen of the mountains. I felt like the room was so clean and the bed was very comfy. My only complaints are that I wish there were more towels already stocked in the room and we could not get the wifi to work no matter how hard we tried so we could not use our phones since there was no cell service. Otherwise we had a great stay! The building is a bit of a walk and the nene birds were really aggressive when we would walk the paths to our room. But overall good experience!

Had a wonderful stay here. The view from this room was amazing - so nice to watch the sun rise from bed. The room was clean, as described and in a unit near the bottom of the property which provided more privacy. Resort fees were higher than advertised which was the only down side.

Loved the stay! Clean, awesome view, access to the resort was great and plenty of parking. The cart attendants helped with loading and unloading luggage and will even give you a ride from the beach. The lush tropical landscaping and tiki lamps make the walks around so pretty. Location is excellent with beach access and nice walking closeby. Also, 1 hotel is walking distance if you want to grab a drink of have dinner there. Thank you! Will come back

The view from this place are incredible! I couldn't believe it when we opened the window. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Especially loved the AC and double shower! The property had a ton of amenities and the beach was one of our highlights. The only thing that we noticed was that the room had a musty smell to it when we first arrived (likely due to the humidity/rain), but seemed to go away after we aired the place out.

The unit had stunning views and all amenities needed for a great time. Unfortunately there was a mold smell in all the units beds. The washer and drier were a key element as we washed tge sheets and it took care of the issue. Not sure if this smell was from the the resets washing machines but once we washed with our detergent there was no smell. Besides this small issue it was a great stay and a great resort!

Pool, hot tub area is great. Unit was clean.Every night we came home from dinner the parking area was a zoo, no where to park, over run by valet parking and we were charged 20 per day for parking. I've never heard of a condo without a kitchen. This unit only has a kitchenette in the bathroom. No microwave or place to cook, limited flatware, only 2 spoons which were serving size. Tub was slippery and we couldnt get it to hold water.AC is just okay. We froze the 1st night as we slept in the bed by the unit. Next night was better as we were further from the unit.No ceiling fans in the unit or exhaust fan in the bathroom.

The room itself, lacked some basic amenities…we ran out of toilet paper and body wash after the first day and had to go buy some. There were no mugs to drink coffee or tea in the morning.

First off let me say you do not come to HBR for the beach view. The mountains and Hanalei Bay views are to die for. This is our third year coming to Kauai and our second stay at HBR. This has been our favorite condo to date. It is front row center to one of the most gorgeous sunsets you will ever see. We will definitely be back. The resort is very nice, with beautiful grounds and two nice pools. 2 restaurants on-site are also a plus, although I would consider the food at each just slightly better than adequate. (Good if you do not feel like going into Hanalei.) Views from restaurant and the unit are spectacular. The room itself was reasonable for two people, but slightly odd in configuration since it was a separate space of a larger unit (e.g., there was an unusable hallway space leading to a door to the larger part of the unit). The bed was very comfortable, but the awning was slightly weird. There was a table and two chairs inside, which was nice, but no other space to sit. A large wooden sculpture took up valuable space that could easily be used for a chair. A coffee maker and small refrigerator were provided, along with cups, dishes, and silverware, which was useful for breakfast. There were, however, no other kitchen facilities. Best to think of the space as a good-sized hotel room. Access to a well-shaded beach with an easily accessible coral reef was a plus, and the owner and resort provide beach chairs and umbrellas. The resort and unit sit relatively high, which provides for great views, but also requires a somewhat lengthy walk down to the beach and then back up. The resort does have carts available that can pick you up if the climb is too challenging.Note: A daily resourt (25) and parking (25) fee along with a one-time 50 check-in fee added over 400 to our 7-day stay.

The condo had the most incredible view. Everything was exactly as described. The kitchen, laundry, bedrooms. The one thing I might point out is that when we arrived there was sand on the barstools and the counter where the stools were placed. Other than that, everything else was very clean.
