The unit is gorgeous! It’s been recently remodeled by the owner and it really shines. The sliding doors let in the perfect amount of ocean noise to lull you to sleep, and make for a perfect breakfast view. It’s truly steps from Magic Sands beach and the Magics Bar and Grill. I highly recommend this spot and would happily stay again!

Great location. Clean. Host was responsive in solving a problem with water heater. Bed was comfortable and air conditioning was excellent. We loved having a beach and park just a few steps away. Cons: water heater difficulties, coudn't work the TV, internet signal was very weak therefore unusable, toilet paper supply inadequate for one week.

The condo is in a perfect spot, right next to a popular restaurant and beach, and only a few mile from downtown Kona. The view and sounds of the ocean right out from the lanai are superb.

Our stay was fabulous! The studio was spotless and beautifully decorated with everything we needed to prepare meals in the kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning coffee and sunset happy hour on the lanai, overlooking the ocean with the occasional glimpse of dolphins right in front of us. We look forward to returning!

Jan was very communicative and the condo was exactly as described. She had everything you could need for a week on the Big Island. We took advantage of the mini cooler on day trip, the snorkel gear, the beach towels & chairs next door, and spent every morning on the lanai with our coffee. She also had a fully stocked kitchen to cook anything, including seasonings. The waves were loud and the best sound to fall asleep to every night and wake up to every morning. Location was also great for anything in Kona, or getting around the island. Would absolutely stay here again! Mahalo for an amazing time in Hawaii!

The host was great. The beautiful crashing waves were amazing.the view was spectacular!! The only inconvenience was there were only shades on half the windows & on one lg slider, we watched the shade separate from the roll & fall to the floor.(looked like the glue gave out). Bc of that, even with A/C, it got way too warm & uncomfortable in the condo. Overall, the view made up for it!! Thank you so much. We had a great vacation!

The host was welcoming. Location, location, location. The studio condo is connected to Magic Sands Grill and a beautiful white sand beach. Beach gear provided, 2 low back beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, and snorkeling gear.

We were fortunate enough to stay here one day after the remodel was complete and we were blown away. We were already content with the studio with the existing pictures, but wow, the remodel is fabulous! When I say you can't beat the view!? I mean, what more could you want than sipping your morning coffee while watching the spinner dolphins put on a show? The place was very clean, the AC unit worked great in my opinion (I even got chilly at night, and I'm a hot sleeper). Could not be more conveniently located to the beach. If you get a chance to stay here, do it!!

The view was amazing and we loved the pool.. Location is great and the restaurant was wonderful. The bed wasn’t comfortable but the view helped make up for it!! I would love to come again but hope the bed is replaced.

Beach view was good. One minor complaint: Air Cond was not effective. Very hot in the room. Rocky beach was scenic but had to leave the doors open and too noisy as a result. Just up the air cond and it would be great.

Location next to Magic Sands beach was a plus. The room was clean and the floor to ceiling windows made it feel like we were outside. Beautiful sunsets from the condo. There is no elevator, but we were ok walking up the stairs. There is also no oven, but we went out to eat in the evenings, so we were ok with that. Air conditioning worked well. There is no separation between the bed and the living area. We enjoyed our stay, falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing in at night.

I will give 7 star to the location. Next door is Beach, park and restaurant. We show dolphins from our room in the morning and for two days in a row. Room is good for 3 person. Host were nice and had good communication through out. Price was right compare to other properties or resort. I will definitely recommend this place for stay in kona. Thanks.

This condo is great! The location couldn't be better, attached to a nice beach, close to many others. The restaurant on premises was so convenient and also good food.
The condo was very comfortable, surprisingly specious, very clean, and had lots of thoughtful amenities - including everything you need for a day at the beach! The owner was also very kind and quick to respond when we had questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location with crashing waves and fish viewing from the room (yup, could see the fish in the waves). Windows and sliding glass doors on alll the view sides. Nice breeze (never even used the a/c, didn't need it) Condo in great condition. Everything we needed. Good location to get to places moderately easily. Thanks. My husband and I are so happy we chose this place. The view from the balcony was amazing. Place was well stocked we did not cook dinner in the kitchenette but enjoyed our coffee on the balcony each morning. Location was perfect we would love to stay here again! We loved the location of this property. The water outside the window is so clear you can see yellow and black tangs in the waves. Looks like an aquarium. We also so spinner dolphins playing. Listening to the waves crash on the rocks is the best. It was really hot while we were there in September so the portable AC got a workout but sleeping was comfortable. The bathroom stayed warm. Very clean and comfortable.

We left after the first night of a four night stay. Susan is very dishonest how her listing claims there is Air Condition. I messaged her right away that the AC unit was not working. Turns out it does work but she controls when you can run it. She did not respond to my inquiry about the AC until 12 hours later (the next morning). The condo is on the ground floor. Susan’s advice was to sleep with the sliding glass doors open. Additionally while the few pictures she posts make it look nice. It is extremely dated (the whole property is dated). Because it is VRBO there is no way to check out early. We were supposed to stay for four nights but chose to leave after the first night and go stay at a hotel. I can’t stress enough to avoid this one. You’ll see others if you scroll down the review list that had similar issues.

Gorgeous space to spend our honeymoon! The building had a working grill we took full advantage of for dinners. You can watch sunset and moonset from the unit itself and fall asleep to the waves. The water is so clear we could see fish in the water from the condo. Easy walk to Magic Sands beach with convenient feet washing stations for the sand. Alice was very kind accommodating check-in and check-out time hiccups we had due to flights. Highly recommend this stay!

Wish I could give this property 5 stars. Let me start off by stating that this property is ideal if you plan on spending most of your time at the magic sand beach which is right next door & was the highlight of this location. It’s a bit of a driving distance to any shopping centers. The property itself was very clean & had all of the amenities as we like to cook our own meals due to dietary restrictions beach chairs/umbrella. There is a restaurant called Magic Beach Grill right next-door that over looks the beach & convenient for beach goers. There’s a designated parking spot so you don’t have to worry about parking. Our meals on the lanai were breathtaking with the views of the Pacific Ocean & wonderful sunsets. Cons: the unit is located on the 2nd floor and since it’s an older building there is no elevator. The AC in the unit is VERY sensitive, it did not work great for us when we needed it too. The host was very prompt in addressing concerns. However, the AC would not work even if you cracked open the door a little. When we checked in, unfortunately, the refrigerator wasn’t working, which we did not find out till the next day when the host informed us after we reached out regarding the AC unit. He did have a mini refrigerator that was working, however because we did our own cooking, storage was an issue for us. Since the unit is next to a beach & on a main road there tends to be some noise later part of the afternoon. Overall we enjoyed our stay here & would return.

Staying at this oceanfront condo was pure magic. Each morning, I woke to the soothing rhythm of ocean waves and the soft chorus of island birds. The lanai felt like a private perch over the Pacific, where I could watch the waves roll in and spot fish and turtles right from the shore. Inside, the condo was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything needed for a relaxed stay. The location made it easy to explore Kona’s shops, beaches, and scenic drives, yet it still felt like a peaceful retreat away from the crowds. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves and waking up to nature’s soundtrack was an unforgettable experience.I must thank for all the facilities and amenities offered within the condo.
