If you have kids, this condo is one of the best locations in kihei. Easy walking distance to a great kids beach, huge playground and park, surf cove and many stores. The location of 1421 in building 1 is great, it’s off to the side, so not alot of road noise, but still a peek a boo view to the ocean. Bonus that you can actually see the wave break in the cove from the deck, so if you are a surfer it’s easy to check on conditions. Condo itself is great. Obviously it’s not going to be in new condition as it is a vacation rental, but it worked great for us and was well stocked with everything we needed. Again though, location. With kids, it’s Absolutley ideal.

This Maui home was perfect for our group of 13. The property manager was quick to respond prior to our arrival and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The house was spacious, clean, and very well equipped, with plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Everything was better than described, and the location was excellent. We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend this property to other large groups. We cannot wait to return! Thank you for making us feel so welcomed!

Thank you, we loved the condo. I really appreciate having the items we needed on hand vs buying it there (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, cleaners, trash bags, laundry detergent. this saved me a day of shopping. As a Superhost myself, I always aim to provide thoughtful, constructive feedback, and I hope this is received in that spirit.We truly enjoyed our stay and found many things to appreciate about this condo. The location is excellent, and the view from the balcony is lovely, making mornings especially enjoyable. The unit was clean upon arrival, and the upstairs twin bed was very comfortable. We also appreciated the welcome gift of cookies and coffee, along with thoughtful basics like dishwasher and dish soap, salt and pepper, which made it easy for us to prepare breakfast each morning.The beach chairs, beach towels, and parking were all great conveniences, and access to the unit was easy. The grounds are clean and well maintained, which adds to the overall appeal of the property.That said, this is clearly a well-worn, aging condo, and some regular maintenance and deeper cleaning would make a big difference—especially for longer stays like ours. A deep clean would be beneficial, including dry cleaning the drapes, washing lampshades, and addressing some dust buildup (notably the upstairs bathroom vent, which is very dusty and whose fan does not turn off). The kitchen faucet is loose and wobblyKnives are quite dull, and there was no food turner/spatula for cooking.The A/C filter light is on, indicating the filter needs replacement. Some electrical outlets do not work, Extra blankets, a dustpan and a way to mop the floors, as well as where to find extra trash bags would help.

Perfect location! I came to Maui to lay low -- to just sit on the beach. It's a very short walk from the condo to Charley Young Beach, which was great for staring at the ocean, seeing whale spouts & breaches, and floating in the shore waves. The condo was well stocked with necessities, cookware, and basics like oil, spices, etc. Checkin / out / communication was easy. Bed comfortable! I traveled solo and I highly recommend this unit for ease, location, and completeness as it had some beach chairs, cooler, etc!

The location is wonderful. There is a crosswalk to go to the beach right outside the condo. Parking was no problem at all. There were a lot of supplies left for us to use in the condo and lots of equipment to use at the beach.The air conditioner did cool things off downstairs, but we needed the ceiling fan and portable fan on all the time for the upstairs bedroom to stay cool.

Suzanne is very responsive and the unit is wonderfully furnished with everything you need: beach cart, chairs, towels, pickleball set. Kitchen is excellent for cooking (we didn’t cook but it has all the amenities!). Loved the in-unit washer and dryer. Everything was comfortable and clean. And the place was quiet. Enjoyed my stay at Dedee’s condo. Excellent location away from street makes it quiet and peaceful. Was well stocked with beach necessities which were well used. Overall I enjoyed the space and found was well stocked with coffeemaker, toaster , blender and loved the ice packs in the freezer.

Maui Vista has been our go to accommodation for Kihei. Best beach is across the street, walkable to eateries both north and south. This unit was great, only minor negative was the AC was a little oldier and a bit noisy but kept the place cool.

With never have used Vrbo or anything like it I wasn't sure what to expect. The owners of this amazingly beautiful place were very welcoming, kind, helpful, and very good at communicating with me. The condo it's self is very beautiful inside and out, the lanai was my favorite spot in the mornings. The location of it was also great. It wasn't too busy with people, tasty food trucks just a little walk away, and a walk across the street and you are right at the beach. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice relaxing vacation. Thank you again for sharing your amazing place!

In unit laundry was very convenient. Communication with host was somewhat confusing because of using multiple communication types rather than limiting to just through the VRBO platform. Location in Kihei was great, and we loved Charley Young beach. Slightly further from the beach than we originally thought, however it was still convenient and doable. The balcony view was a bit underwhelming. We so appreciated having beach chairs/umbrellas, etc. available during our stay.

The shower head should be changed so it can swivel. It is pointing towards the shower wall and difficult to use. The location of the unit is over a very busy street and is really noisy. I was not expecting that.

Our host was so great. Easy communication, very accommodating. The unit is gorgeous. We are a family of four and found the Murphy bed very comfortable. There’s everything you could need in the unit (boogie boards, towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear, cooler). Perfect beach right there. Also lots of shops and restaurant options to walk to. We also loved Mākena Beach (big beach) which was only a 15 minute drive. I would highly recommend this spot!

Kitchen was well equipped. Air conditioning in loft bedroom malfunctioned, we had the staff come and they tried to fix it but could not guarantee it would work as it needed the water pump in it replaced so we just stopped using it. This property has a constant, loud humming sound coming from the vents in the bathrooms. The loft bathroom is about two feet from the bed so the sound permeated into the bedroom even with the door closed. It is an obnoxious sound. Unpleasant. I do not fault the property owners as it is a building problem. But if I owned property there I would be suing the building.
