The location of this condo was awesome. It’s central to everything in Kīhei and Wailea. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. Within walking distance to the beach and many of the shops and food nearby.

The property was not in a livable condition upon arrival. Gnats were present throughout the entire home, including the beds, kitchen, appliances, and living areas, making the space unsanitary and unusable.We were not informed prior to arrival that the property had experienced flooding, which was later stated as the cause. This material issue should have been disclosed in advance, as it directly impacted our decision to book.Communication with the host was unprofessional and unhelpful. Concerns were dismissed, and the only suggested “solution” was to turn off the lights, which did nothing to resolve the issue.Overall, the listing was not as described, and the lack of transparency, cleanliness, and appropriate response made the stay unacceptable.

The apartment was hot in the bedroom. The AC was in the family room which did nothing to the sleeping quarter. The bedroom window opened to the hallway, which did nothing to cool down the room.

We truly enjoyed our stay - particularly waking up and watching the moon set from the balcony. It was a beautiful view. We even saw a whale at one point, and we were greeted by rosy-faced lovebirds every morning! The host and the property manager staff were all very friendly and responsive. We did not have a working AC unit in the main bedroom, but they did what they could by setting fans up and scheduling a repair. We were very comfortable and would stay there again.

Justin and Yoko are fantastic hosts and their condo was perfect! The space was clean, the location is 10/10 right across the street from Charley Young beach, and comes with a fully stocked kitchen and beach toy closet. My friend and I spent a week here and it was the perfect base. Would definitely stay again!

Location was very convenient to beach access, activities like surfing. The condo was clean. We had most everything we needed for making our own breakfast, except for sugar which we bought. Host was very friendly and accommodated our request to store food in the fridge before cheek-in time. Loved our stay here and would definitely come back again.

Our stay had a few significant issues that impacted our experience.When we first walked into the apartment, it was extremely hot. As we were settling in and turned on the AC, we realized that one of the gas stove burners had been left on, which was concerning from a safety standpoint.The bedroom AC unit was also quite noisy, making it difficult to sleep. We ended up feeling exhausted due to the lack of rest.Additionally, we were instructed to reach out to security for assistance, but despite making multiple calls, no one was reachable. This led to further frustration when we were tagged overnight for not having a parking permit, even though we were unable to get the necessary help.The bathtub was also not clean, with hair visible in the corners, which was disappointing.Lastly, there was only one extra blanket provided. Having an additional blanket available would have made the stay more comfortable.Overall, these issues made our stay less enjoyable than expected.

The condo was adequate for our needs for our first trip to Maui. If you are expecting rainy weather or are planning to spend more time inside than outside, take along some games, playing cards, etc. Condo was fairly quiet and about a 10 minute walk to the beach. We preferred the beach that was a short drive towards Wailea. Good location to walk to some great restaurants and convenient to most things we needed.

Condo was perfect for us. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable. The lanai looks out onto the grass. Had a visit from a hen and her 9 little chicks. Beach was very close. Liked using one of the small pools available. Kitchen had everything except scissors. Could not find a broom anywhere. Other than that we had a great time.

The day we arrived it was very humid. The air conditioning was very welcoming. We had a small problem with the microwave and the hosts were extremely quick to respond. The hosts also allowed us a generous late check out because there were no incoming guests. There were a lot of beach supplies which were very much appreciated. The proximity to Charlie Young beach is great (5 minutes). Stores, groceries and restaurants are all within walking distance. If you are looking for something modern and new this might not be for you. Keep in mind if you are looking for comfort, cleanliness, location, value, host communication, and supplied equiptment book this place, you won't be sorry.We would recommend in a heartbeat!

Nice clean condo. Has everything you need to cook with and such. Kitchen is a little dated, but otherwise it was clean and usable. Had laundry in the condo, which I always look for when I stay on Maui. Very easy check in, they communicated over email, and every thing was smooth and easy. It is steps to the pool, though I don't use it. Only peekaboo ocean view from the lanai, have to look through the bushes to see. I'd say easy 4.5 stars, I'm not usually one to give 5 stars to anything so 4.5 is excellent.

Condo located in a three-building complex across the street from the ocean. Great location and within walking distance of beaches and restaurants. The two window air conditioners did a pretty good job of cooling the place but had to turn off the bedroom unit at night as it was loud. Property grounds are nicely maintained and the small pools are clean with nice chairs and plenty of shade. Condo was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.

The condo is very tastefully furnished. It is ideally suited for two people. We thought we would be OK with the barstools, but given our age (70) we would have preferred a dining room table for eating and playing cards. The condo complex is large with a pool, nice BBQ and tennis and Pickleball courts. There are beach chairs, towels, balls, boogy boards, etc in the condo. All in good condition. But the very best thing of all is that it is an easy, easy, very, very short walking distance to one of the most beautiful beaches on Maui.

The property is good value when compared to other units at the same price point. It's located very close to Cove Park and Kalama Park which made walking to go surf easy. The bright unit is on the second floor and the deck felt quite private. We ate all our meals out there - a really lovely spot and a real highlight for us. The unit came well stocked with all the essentials for home and for the beach. Everything was well cared for and in great shape. The unit had air conditioning for the no wind/ muggy days. We rarely saw other guests which is quite interesting since it's such a big complex. We would just see guests at the parking lot. Parking was never a problem. We parked extremely close to our unit stairwell. I wish the stairwell doors stayed open so it would have been easier to move items to and from the unit. The complex is on South Kihei Road but this unit is back far enough that road noise was never an issue. Lots of bird species around and they are singing in the morning so something to consider if you sleep with windows open here. The host was very responsive in case we needed any help. She helped make our stay stress free. We had a fabulous stay and can't wait to book our next visit to this unit at Maui Vista. Thanks,Frederick and Julie

First impression: As we arrived late. No fault of the property. Coming into the property was a little challenging as well as hard to find the room. Dark and not well lit entry made it a little harder. The room was clean and matched the images online. We noticed that no wall decorations were installed which made it feel a little stale. But we assumed as it was newly updated, probably hadnt found the right decor yet. The weird christmas tree in the bedroom was kind of odd. The tv location was kind of tucked behind the chair a bit - which wasnt ideal if your on the couch. The good: As the daylight of the first day arrived - the location right next to the small pool and access across the main street a short walk to Charley Young Beach was a pleasant surprise. Within a block or two you can get to food and within .25 miles there is shopping available. The sunsets from the beach are hard to beat. The location overall was very good. Short trip to get to Wailea beaches and shopping. Big Beach is only about 15 minutes away for some ocean adventure. Also there was some gear for the beach in the closet, which was very nice: chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie board left by guests was wonderful. Some bad: One big problem is the noise from cars driving by with their music blaring (way too loud) made resting a little challenging between 7 to around 11 each night. The rooms walls are pretty thin so you can pretty much hear anything going on nearby. All that said - very good stay. Host was great

We had a great stay at this Maui Vista condo and would definitely come back. The location is hard to beat—just a short walk to Charley Young Beach and the Kamaole beaches, which made it really easy to go back and forth throughout the day. We especially loved being able to walk to so many good food spots nearby without needing to drive.The condo itself was comfortable and well set up for our family. The A/C worked well, which we appreciated, and having beach chairs, towels, and a cooler made beach days much easier. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the washer/dryer was very convenient.The pools were great for a quick dip. Overall, this is a great, easy, low-stress place to stay in Kihei, especially for families. Great location, comfortable setup, and everything you need for a fun Maui trip.

We have stayed at Maui Vista 3 times and it is so perfect you can walk to the beach and great restaurants. This exact condo was perfect for our family of 6 they had everything you needed including beach supplies (cooler/beach chairs umbrella and beach toys if you had little ones. The condo was clean and they provided extra paper towels garbage bags and toilet paper which most rentals leave you enough for 3 days. We only had one recommendation is to get a comfortable mattress topper for the pull out as the mattress was very uncomfortable. I would recommend this place and would rent it again.

If you are looking for a quite relaxed experience this is a good choice. My teenagers liked the new tennis courts. This unit is bright and clean, if you are looking for a super fancy resort feeling, this may not be for you. It feels more like an apartment. The ample free parking was great! Everyone was very friendly.

Everything about our stay was unbelievably good! We were family members, Mom in Suite, Son & Wife in 1st King, Granddaughter and great granddaughter (2 turned 3 yr old while in Hawaii) in 2nd King, Two grandson's 13 & 16 yrs old in Two Queens off the kitchen, Niece in King Loft(Great view of Sunset from this room) Son & Grandson in 2nd loft with two Queen beds....The kitchen was well supplied and we were all able to functioned comfortably. Dining area was plenty roomy for all along with outside table which was close by. Having two living areas with plenty of couches and sitting area was great along with bathrooms in each sleeping area and extra hall bathroom. We all enjoyed being together and never felt overcrowded. I would return to this property anytime I traveled with group. And it was all about LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!!

This condo was perfect for us two. Washer and dryer were really handy and the kitchen was wonderfully supplied. The condo is perfected located across the road from Charlie Young Beach and easy walking distance to other beaches, as well as coffee spots, grocery stores, great restaurants and fun night spots. Just a note, this is not a current photo of the condo's furniture.
