An excellent condo for your Maui vacation; it is worth noting that it is situated on the shady side, so the interior didn't get unbearably hot. The chairs and umbrella came in very handy, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The location was very walkable to nearby restaurants and grocery stores, and it was a 5 minute walk to the beach where we could swim and saw sea turtles. The AC unit is in the living room, so you probably need to run it for awhile to reach the bedroom, but we were fine with it mostly off in mid-May. Parking was really easy and it was nice to have the in-unit laundry. The condo had a lot of beach towels and assorted beach gear available which was really nice. Our only complaint would be the cleanliness of the floors. They request that you don't wear shoes inside (which is reasonable), but our feet became blackened with dirt from walking around the apartment barefoot. Everything else seemed very clean, so this was a bit odd.

Really well laid out clean condo that's for couples as well as familys. Living area is spacious, even for a family of four.Well equiped kitchen, if you decide to cook there - plenty of eateries locally to explore. And the lanai is great been on the ground floor, "extra" space with the lawn.Bedroom is fine. It has no AC but that was a plus for us, no noise from the unit.And with all the beach activity gear and 5 mins from Charlie Young beach, what more could you want.Mark has been great with all communications on our stay, from booking nearly a year ago, to getting the "keys to the door" on our arrivalSome previous users have been critical on itty bitty points and marked their review down. The fact is we all like things in different ways.At the end of the day you're on Maui, an island to be explored. To do so you need a base to explore from. This condo fits the bill 100%.

Lele Penthouse was a great place to stay with ample space for our family of 12. We especially appreciated that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Our girly girls would have liked more full length mirrors, but the extra bathrooms were much appreciated. It was conveniently located within walking distance of beaches and shopping. They provided everything you would need for a beach day including chairs, boogie boards, beach towels and a cooler. Given the high exposure to water and sand, the flooring would benefit from an upgrade to luxury vinyl plank flooring. The kitchen was fully stocked with very nice kitchenware and everything you need for cooking. However, with the outdoor grilling area by the pool and four kids under four, we were a little nervous to use it. Some family friendly plates and cups would be helpful going forward.Management was very prompt replying to our questions and providing extra portable cribs and high chairs for our infants.We would definitely stay there in the future! I can't figure out how this unit was rated so high. I'll start with the positive.The property management company is great. We've rented from them before and we will rent from them again. They are responsive, resourceful and reliable. The location is great. The beach is across the street, Charlie Young Beach. It is a big beautiful sandy beach where you can snorkel or play in waves depending on conditions. The beach next door is where you can learn to surf at The Cove Beach. You can rent surfboards across the street or get lessons. There are great restaurants and food trucks within walking distance.The bad:The unit. It needs updating, but the layout is not good. There is not a location in the unit that fits 6 or 7 comfortably. The kitchen is big enough for 1. You can't open two things at once. If the pantry door is open, the silverware drawer across can't open. If the dishwasher is open, you can't open the fridge. It is very cramped. The room upstairs was not thought out. There are no windows that open to outside. They open to the ceiling in the common area. It gets so hot an humid up there that the smoke detector kept going off. On top of that, the washer and dryer are up there and the dryer vents into the room. Imagine sleeping in an attic on a hot day and then the heat from the dryer vents into the room. There is an AC up there, but the pipes get so hot that it heats up the room more.

Wonderful location with being within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The condo was clean and comfortable, and the beds were especially comfy compared to other places we have stayed. We had a few issues come up including the microwave and wifi/Roku not working, but the owners were extremely responsive and friendly. They got the Wi-Fi up and running and microwave replaced the same afternoon. We were a bit disappointed that the downstairs Roku wasn't fixed but not a huge deal since we didn't have tons of time for TV watching anyway! Would definitely recommend staying here.

We loved that this condo is so close to the beach! It was also stocked with beach chairs, umbrella's and towels! We had everything we needed to make our meals and to do some laundry. The ac in our bedroom was nice and cold. The condo was in a very nice and quiet little neighborhood. We also were a short walk to shops and food trucks full of a variety of different foods! We loved our stay and would like to come back soon!

We stayed at this Kihei property from May 7–11 but left after the first night and paid to stay somewhere else because the place wasn't clean needed maintenance, and hadsafety concerns.We we arrived we noticed a musty odor but thought itd go away. Later that evening we saw numerous problems including a rusty hanging curtain rod, an electrical outlet that sparked when used, inadequate AC units that repeatedly shut off on timers, mold buildup in the washing machine seal, dryer lint trap issue, dirty shower areas, grime buildup on bathroom doors, stained carpets/couch pillows, dirty sliding door tracks and window, and garbage under a bed.Both my sister and I have professional cleaning experience. What we saw appeared to be far more than a missed cleaning. The condition of the unit suggested longstanding cleanliness/maintenance problems.The next morning we photographed the issues, contacted the host, and arranged to stay somewhere else. By that point we had no confidence that the problems could be resolved quickly. Cleaning, repairs, and electrical troubleshooting would likely have consumed a full day of our short vacation.I wish I could post ALL of the photos because they tell the story better than words. I honestly do not understand the positive ratings based on what we experienced.The complaint process afterward has been disappointing. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this unit or VRBO. Location is all it has going for it.

If you want a great location close (and I mean close) to a beautiful swimming beach, walking distance to local shops and eateries BOOK THIS PROPERTY! Justin and Yoko are 10/10 on communication, and the property is wonderful. We woke up everyday to a gorgeous ocean view, private lanai, fully equipped kitchen and two bed/bath comfort home away from home feel. Property was very quiet, and beautifully landscaped grounds were a plus. The elevator was so convenient for bringing in luggage, groceries, and beach chairs/umbrella etc. We had a flawless experience, and amazing vacation in Maui!

This condo was perfect for myself & 3 teenage grandchildren. The upstairs loft was perfect for them & the downstairs master bedroom was perfect for me. Short walk to the beach with beautiful sunsets. Beautiful condo in Maui Vista! Being in building 1, amazing view of the ocean from the Lanai. Sat out there everyday having coffee, looking at palm trees and ocean:). Room was exactly as pictured and described. We had an amazing week in Maui in May based out of the condo. We will certainly try to book this condo again on our next visit to Maui!The three pictures: sunset from the lanai, daytime picture from the lanai, and Charley Young beach which is about a 3min walk from the condo, beautiful beach…great for boogie boarding, snorkeling, and even seeing turtles swimming around!

This condo was perfect! Beautiful kitchen, super nice bathroom, and awesome TV. Loved the location - easy walk to a great beach. We also loved Maui Vista and how easy it was to stay there. We got to rent tennis rackets and tennis balls. And the pools were great! Definitely coming back!

Hot,hot,hot. Loft area was not sleep area. Shower upstairs was only large enough for kids, not adults. AAoceanfront unavailable for calls on weekends. Toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex ordered from Amazon and was all paper thin. They want you to replace but don't know how current renter could possibly replace. We left 1st class products which are more than likely being taken by staff. WOULD NOT recommend this property.

The location of this condo was awesome. It’s central to everything in Kīhei and Wailea. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. Within walking distance to the beach and many of the shops and food nearby.

The property was not in a livable condition upon arrival. Gnats were present throughout the entire home, including the beds, kitchen, appliances, and living areas, making the space unsanitary and unusable.We were not informed prior to arrival that the property had experienced flooding, which was later stated as the cause. This material issue should have been disclosed in advance, as it directly impacted our decision to book.Communication with the host was unprofessional and unhelpful. Concerns were dismissed, and the only suggested “solution” was to turn off the lights, which did nothing to resolve the issue.Overall, the listing was not as described, and the lack of transparency, cleanliness, and appropriate response made the stay unacceptable.

We truly enjoyed our stay - particularly waking up and watching the moon set from the balcony. It was a beautiful view. We even saw a whale at one point, and we were greeted by rosy-faced lovebirds every morning! The host and the property manager staff were all very friendly and responsive. We did not have a working AC unit in the main bedroom, but they did what they could by setting fans up and scheduling a repair. We were very comfortable and would stay there again.

Justin and Yoko are fantastic hosts and their condo was perfect! The space was clean, the location is 10/10 right across the street from Charley Young beach, and comes with a fully stocked kitchen and beach toy closet. Our stay had a few significant issues that impacted our experience.When we first walked into the apartment, it was extremely hot. As we were settling in and turned on the AC, we realized that one of the gas stove burners had been left on, which was concerning from a safety standpoint.The bedroom AC unit was also quite noisy, making it difficult to sleep. We ended up feeling exhausted due to the lack of rest.Additionally, we were instructed to reach out to security for assistance, but despite making multiple calls, no one was reachable. This led to further frustration when we were tagged overnight for not having a parking permit, even though we were unable to get the necessary help.The bathtub was also not clean, with hair visible in the corners, which was disappointing.Lastly, there was only one extra blanket provided. Having an additional blanket available would have made the stay more comfortable.Overall, these issues made our stay less enjoyable than expected.

The condo was adequate for our needs for our first trip to Maui. If you are expecting rainy weather or are planning to spend more time inside than outside, take along some games, playing cards, etc. Condo was fairly quiet and about a 10 minute walk to the beach. We preferred the beach that was a short drive towards Wailea. Good location to walk to some great restaurants and convenient to most things we needed.

Condo was perfect for us. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable. The lanai looks out onto the grass. Had a visit from a hen and her 9 little chicks. Beach was very close. Liked using one of the small pools available. Kitchen had everything except scissors. Could not find a broom anywhere. Other than that we had a great time.

The day we arrived it was very humid. The air conditioning was very welcoming. We had a small problem with the microwave and the hosts were extremely quick to respond. The hosts also allowed us a generous late check out because there were no incoming guests. There were a lot of beach supplies which were very much appreciated. The proximity to Charlie Young beach is great (5 minutes). Stores, groceries and restaurants are all within walking distance. If you are looking for something modern and new this might not be for you. Keep in mind if you are looking for comfort, cleanliness, location, value, host communication, and supplied equiptment book this place, you won't be sorry.We would recommend in a heartbeat!

Nice clean condo. Has everything you need to cook with and such. Kitchen is a little dated, but otherwise it was clean and usable. Had laundry in the condo, which I always look for when I stay on Maui. Very easy check in, they communicated over email, and every thing was smooth and easy. It is steps to the pool, though I don't use it. Only peekaboo ocean view from the lanai, have to look through the bushes to see. I'd say easy 4.5 stars, I'm not usually one to give 5 stars to anything so 4.5 is excellent.

Condo located in a three-building complex across the street from the ocean. Great location and within walking distance of beaches and restaurants. The two window air conditioners did a pretty good job of cooling the place but had to turn off the bedroom unit at night as it was loud. Property grounds are nicely maintained and the small pools are clean with nice chairs and plenty of shade. Condo was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.
