What a beautiful view of the ocean all around. Loved that the pool was so close and right next to Captain Jacks. We are there 3 times during our stay. Food was wonderful. Also, enjoyed Dolly’s Pizza just across the street. It was very good. Everyone was so friendly and helpful at the front desk. We would highly recommend this beautiful condo!!

The view is outstanding! The condo is well stocked, and clean. The only things that need some attention, is some lighting in the living room and some wd40 on the one screen door.The communication was great and response to questions was very quick. I would highly recommend this property for a great Hawaiian vacation.

This condo really stands out for the views and being right on the ocean! The patio and front window are absolutely beautiful and were definitely the highlight of our stay.That said, there were a few areas that fell short, especially for the price. The beds were quite firm, and with four adults staying, the unit only had three beach chairs, which made it a bit inconvenient for all four of us to enjoy sitting on the beach together. It would also have been a nice touch to provide a few laundry pods; we ended up purchasing detergent for a few loads and left extras behind for future guests.The building itself is older (maybe built in the late 70s) and has a very laid-back vibe, but it can be noisy. We had some rowdy neighbors during our stay, and the back bedroom in particular doesn’t offer much sound insulation, and you can hear quite a bit through the windows. They did, however, offer sound machines.Overall, you’re largely paying for the incredible view. On the plus side, the location is fantastic, just steps from the pool, beach, and a fun restaurant, and we really enjoyed the pool and spa. All in all, we enjoyed parts of our stay, but we’re not sure the overall value quite matched the price we paid.

This was an incredible ocean front condo with views of Lanai & Moloka'i and awesome sunsets!The place was very thoughtfully stocked with just about any amenity you'd ever want...even pool toys & anorkelin gear, etc. There was plenty of room for us 4 adults. The condo was large so it was really nice to have the common space and the bedrooms. The beds were comfortable and the view was spectacular! The kitchen pots/pans and knives could use some updating but we made do. The restaurant (Captain Jacks) had the best fries and super nice staff. The location was close to all of our snorkel spots and the weather was just about perfect everyday. We all had a very relaxing vacation and would definitely book this condo again.

We love Sands of Kahana. Our condo worked great for our family. The only comment I have is the condo was in some disrepair. There were holes patched on the drywall that had not been painted to match the wall color, broken face plates on electrical outlets, chipped paint on the shelving in the closets and the cabinets doors in the kitchen that didn’t always close. These were all cosmetic issues that did not detract from enjoying our stay.

We had an incredible stay at this condo which is in the Sands of Kahana Resort. The condo had everything we needed (there were five adults in our group). Spacious living area with a comfy, fold out coach. The bedrooms were both roomy, plenty of closet space and the bathrooms clean with excellent showers. The condo was beautifully decorated and kitchen had plenty of dishware and cookware. Having the laundry in the condo was so convenient. The view is absolutely stunning; we so enjoyed the roomy balcony - plus, the view from the living space just invites everyone to congregate and enjoy its view. The resort is meticulous in keeping its grounds groomed and clean and their staff are very helpful. Spent lots of time enjoying the pool, spa and beach...beach chairs were always available. PLUS, the condo has beach chairs you can use. The resort also has a restaurant (Captain Jack's) which is quite handy for a meal or happy hour. There is also a sushi restaurant and a sports bar (with great happy hours) right across the street. The owner was friendly and quickly accessible for our questions. We would absolutely love to come back!

There is not a place to rent canoes or kayaks on site. Condo is beautifully decorated with stylish and new furniture. View from condo through the large window wall and lanai are amazing. We had a pair of love sparrows perched outside our window on the palm tree all week guarding her nest she made in the eaves of our unit. Pool, beach, restaurant on site, we had a lovely time.

Absolutely Perfect Stay in Maui!We had an amazing 4 day weekend at this beautiful Vrbo condo in Maui and couldn’t have asked for a better experience!The condo was spotless from the moment we walked in—truly one of the cleanest places we’ve ever rented. A dream stay and a dream trip! First off, Lisa our host is an amazing human being who went above and beyond with the communication from day 1. She sent us tips and ideas to make our trip easy when we arrived. The condo was incredible! straight view right at the ocean and beach and a view of the pool as well. The best building to be in out of the 4 for sure. Captain Jacks restaurant is 10/10 and the food was great! Overall I would highly recommend Lisa and this Condo and I will be definitely be coming back!

The BEST spot in the entire condo unit. Views of the beach and the pools are amazing. Large spacious unit. 8 adults and 1 toddler and we had plenty of space. Well equipped. Great communication. Adults and toddler all enjoyed the amenities. Parking after 9pm gets tight, but there is always space out front. Would recommend and woild book again.

This place was just marvelous! It felt more spacious than the pictures, and we fell asleep every night to the gentle sound of the ocean waves. We took advantage of the outdoor BBQ station and made a lot of our own food; the kitchen was set up with all the basics we needed, which was helpful. We were VERY grateful to have had such a lovely week in this space. We also enjoyed using the pickleball and tennis courts close by in addition to the wonderful local sushi right down the street. A very special place that we hope we can come back to!

For what we got this property was a great value! It could use some updating, but had everything we needed.. even had mini splits to cool off the humid air. We enjoyed turtle and whale watching from our patio with beautiful unobstructed views of the ocean. Great snorkeling, right off of our own beach. The owner was very responsive to any questions that we had and very accommodating when we had a late flight on the day that we checked out. The only criticism I have of this property was the elevator being out of service due to a storm front that had moved in before our arrival. This is no fault of the owner… just an unfortunate inconvenience. Mahalo.

The ocean view from the lanai (and living room) was amazing! We spent a lot of time there taking in views of whales, rainbows, and beautiful sunsets. The rest of the condo was very spacious and well-maintained. It was also very convenient to have the beach, pool, and restaurant on-site. When booking, we were a little worried about there being no air conditioning, but it was not a problem at all - the condo remained very comfortable (we were there in late March).

We were very happy with the condo in general. It’s just as pictured, and only steps away from a great beach. The two downsides we encountered were:Neither toilet when we got there. That was rough after a whole day of traveling.I reached out to the maintenance company because we thought the toilets were backed up. They responded quickly, and said there had been some maintenance workers there that day, and maybe they had forgotten to turn the water back on. We were able to turn the valves to get them back on, but had very low flushing pressure all week.The elevator was out of order, and has been for weeks. This condo is on the 8th floor! It’s hard to pack all of that luggage up that many flights, not to mention how many times one leaves an apartment each day. I would recommend checking to see if the elevator is fixed before booking this specific condo.Even with those two issues, we’d absolutely stay in this condo again.

It was the best place to stay in Maui. Perfect location for every activities and view. Only one disappointment is the smoke detector was keep on going for few day and it wasn’t fixed . So that was the only negative for our stay.

The view was amazing and the place was so pretty. It has a real cook’s kitchen with absolutely everything you’d ever want. There are nice beach chairs, towels, a cooler, and even sunscreen. So amazingly helpful! The stove top is induction which took us a bit to figure out, but once we did it was so easy and worked great.You can also borrow from the front desk tennis rackets, balls, pickle ball stuff, and putters to use at the onsite amenities. The pool and hot tub are great too!

The iron was missing otherwise everything as listed. Great for the 8 of us. There was plenty of room. The main issue was that the elevator was not working about 40% of the time. Unfortunately, one of those times was when we arrived. Hauling luggage and groceries up 5 flights of stairs was very difficult.

Wonderful stay despite the rainy weather we were unfortunate to arrive in. Grateful to have the pool and hot tub on the days we couldn't swim at the beach. I appreciated a lot of the details in this rental from the inclusive instruction book, to things being well labelled, the organization of the beach items, and the well stocked and organized kitchen with tools and tupperware. Beds were comfortable, sheets were soft. And the view!!

This condo, resort and location is even better then the pictures on the listing. Great view of the beach from your balcony and living room window. Our family enjoyed this location and resort much more then Kaanapali's resorts to the south as they are not as intimate and as close to the beach. The restaurant on site was great along with having a pool and hot tub right next to the ocean. This location was perfect for us and the condo on floor 3 made it easy to have access to the water quickly. John was great, accommodating and easy to work with. It definitely allowed us to make the lasting memories we were wanting.

Our family had a great experience at our stay here. The whole unit was clean and exactly as described in the unit. The view was even prettier in person. The kitchen was fully stocked with equipment and hosts had great communication. The kids loved the pools and overall a great location near lots of restaurants and plenty to explore. Beach View was great, the place was not totally cleaned and few broken things, Blinds, leaking roof, closet but none were that big of deal. we expected better for the money spent. parking was fine, beach was nice, grounds were clean and nice, well taken care of outside at pool and surrounding area. Was surprised to see that we had to supply garbage bags, laundry soap, dish soap ect. expected that to all be included. maybe I didnt read the fine print. non the less we had a great time and it was a nice place.

The condo was even nicer than expected. The view was amazing from the living room and the lanai. It was spacious and very clean. We were so close to the ocean on the lanai. We enjoyed watching the whales and every morning we could look over the balcony and watch the sea turtles swimming in the ocean below us.Parking was plentiful. Elevators worked great. The beds were very comfortable. Cynthia was a fantastic host and we enjoyed renting from her and we would gladly go back again.

I cannot say enough about this condo! Highly recommend!! First, Sands of Kahana is a excellent resort with nice ocean access, an oceanfront pool & hot tub and onsite bar/restaurant. Second, this condo is outstanding with a wide span view of the ocean to watch the whales, well stocked kitchen for light meal prep, comfortable beds and indoor & outdoor furniture. Plenty of dressers to unpack and live there for the vacation. Various small coolers, beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels for day trips. Stocked with some K cups, sweetner, paper plates, baggies and salt & pepper, so everything needed until you get to the store. Plenty of available parking at the resort even when getting back late. No complaints!!

We had a wonderful stay! Sands of Kahana never disappoints. The views from our balcony were fantastic and we saw lots of spouting whales. The cross-breeze through the condo was terrific, and the available fans weren't even necessary. The owners provided plenty of things to make our stay easier and feel right at home. This condo was in the perfect location, and we felt very comfortable. As four adults, there was plenty of space to be together or have privacy.
