We had an awesome experience! The views were outstanding and the whole place was very comfortable for our family. Kitchen is well-stocked, beds are super comfy and check-in was very smooth. The only thing I'd mention is that there is 1 tennis court (not 2) and it is not well-maintained at all. Otherwise, our experience was 10/10.

All Good as usual except for the 6 wasp nests that should have been noticed and removed! Sullivan Properties was called only to tell me to call property management! After several attempts, 2 were removed so that we could at least enjoy our patio which we were unable to do for our first 3 hours there adding to an uncomfortable 1st Day! In the days following, property management promised assistance on each call, but nobody showed up! This went on for 2 future days untill I finally bought spray and erraticated them myself!

We had a nice stay. The views from the deck were amazing, especially in the morning. You can see turtles from the deck and in the water. The beach closet was really cool with snorkels, boards, chairs, and other beach things you can borrow.

Maui is a frequent vacation spot for my husband and me, and for this trip, we loved being on the first floor (not ground) to bypass the building's slow elevator while still feeling safe. Being close to the pool and beach was super convenient! The property's beach was a bit eroded and choppy, and the pool had strong chlorine, but my young nieces and nephews loved it. We mostly hit Kahekili Beach Park instead. Parking was hands down my favorite stress-free perk since there was always plenty of space.Inside, the full kitchen hit the spot for saving money, and having a washer/dryer with plenty of towels was awesome. I was so happy they provided liquid hand soap, though you'll need to bring your own body wash. We saw two roaches, but it's Hawaii and pest control had just completed a routine spray, so we don't fault the unit at all.The main issue was the heat. There’s no AC, which was listed, but I totally missed it! To say it was hot is an understatement, especially from 3-6pm. The bedroom fan lacked speed control, and the single extra fan wasn't enough. Plus, the main bathroom fan was broken, sending humidity through the roof after showers. The condo shows a lot of wear and tear—it felt a bit like a "landlord special" with poor patching and patchy paint and a stuck kitchen drawer. Adding a couple of dehumidifiers or more fans would give it a fair shot at being comfortable. It definitely needs a thoughtful refresh, but the location and view is still great.

We had an amazing time on this property, the grounds are well maintained and our family enjoyed both the children’s pool and the full size pool. The beach is just outside our room and the views are amazing. Captain Jack's located on the property was great casual place to eat.We had plenty of room for our family of 5 adults and 4 kids all under 5. The condo had everything we could possibly want, beach stuff, towels, plenty of dishes and cookware. The place is clean, nicely decorated and well maintained. We asked for a later checkout, our flights were late in the day, and our host was able to accommodate us. Our trip to Maui was definitely a success!

Nice unit with plenty of space. We had six adults and a baby and were very comfortable. Nice beach and many others in the area to check out as well. Pool access was a nice change of scenery and the kiddie pool was perfect. The restaurant was surprisingly good and utilized often poolside or beachfront for snacks, drinks or lunch. Other restaurants for dinners are conveniently close. The kitchen was well-appointed. Beds were comfortable.Owner communicated very well as we were trying to resolve a cooling issue in one of the bedrooms. It improved but wasn’t completely resolved though he worked hard at trying to accomplish. It wasn’t worthy of impacting his rating in review since he was making every attempt he could. Since it did impact sleep I would inquire as to whether the cooling issue in the center BR has been fully resolved if booking again. (Baby monitor showed that bedroom 8-12 degrees warmer than the rest of the unit.)

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Kahana Sands. This was our fourth stay at Kahana Sands but our first in this condo. The views are the best we've had with this corner unit and the AC in every room was a very nice addition at the end of the hot days in June. The bed was very comfortable and the crashing waves put me to sleep every night. We will come back and stay at this condo again, thank you Renee for being a great host.

Everything on the listing was accurate. This condo was well decorated with a lot of space. The view is spectacular. We watched many turtles swim around and saw manta rays while sitting on our balcony. The beach area in front of the resort is nice and quiet. We had excellent snorkeling in this area as well. They had beach chairs and some other items that were helpful to us during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect place to start our Maui vacation. The unit was furnished perfectly and everything was thought of – including those little things that you don’t always find at a rental/VRBO. As there were 5 of us, extra beach and shower towels, pool and beach toys and even things like chips clips (amongst other things) came in handy and made our stay better. More than anything however was the view and the ability to “open up” the unit even more with the sliding master bedroom door. If we did need anything, the host would have been responsive as she was kind enough to check in on us and see if we needed anything additional throughout our stay. Parking was easy and plentiful once you found the building unit you were in. The beach is beautiful although limited at higher tides but that’s a function of location on the island more than anything else. Could not have been a better spot for us and we’d most definitely stay again. The bar/restaurant next to the pool while not affiliated was a convenient perk. And they showed the Canes game. GO CANES!

Had a great trip , with the exception of having to be moved ( due to water damage) so had to move upstairs . Place is nice location and quiet. Elevator kept breaking down (we were on the 7th floor). Have family that cannot use stairs. I would definitely use Sullivan properties again but would not stay in this condo due to no air conditioning. Hard to sleep at night. Sullivan management was nice giving us tons of fans.

Beautiful views and very large, spacious and super clean. The property and view is just as beautiful as the pictures shown, but feels much more spacious. Easy access to the beach and has beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, cooler, and more for you to use if you like. If you plan on cooking and eating at home it has everything you need to cook: pots, pans, kitchen utensils and tools, tupperware, dishwasher, etc. Having a washer/dryer meant we didn’t have to pack as many clothes because we could wash throughout our stay. Staying here made our vacation so much more relaxed and comfortable having so much room with amazing views of the ocean. My family of five loved it here and would definitely stay here again.

Stayed with a family of four. Very clean and spacious. Full kitchen that is equipped with anything you could possibly need. (So many gadgets!) Gorgeous views fromthe lanai. Saw many rainbows from it! Great family room movie nights. Host was very responsive to questions, and we had zero issues. Highly recommend. Quick drive to all the major beaches and restaurants. The beach in front of the condo is small but probably perfect for families with small kids. Captain Jacks is on site and an easy choice for a quick dinner.

We absolutely loved our stay! Our kids came from 3 parts of the country to meet with us. The view was stunning and the host was so helpful with all the details for planning our stay. Loved that the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and we all had our own full bathrooms. We saw sea turtles everyday and even enjoyed eating at Captain Jacks on our last day as it made it easy to just go downstairs and eat. By the beach. We made Lei’s with Emily and enjoyed going to a Luau where she was one of the dancers. We hope to come back one day as we all loved this location and it was perfect for our family. This penthouse was immaculate, and well appointed with every conceivable kitchen, bath and bedroom amenity. Many beach towels, chairs, games, and instructions for check in and checkout. The spectacular ocean view was perfect for watching turtles, kite surfers, and beautiful sunsets!Cindy, the host, was 5-star in every way! We had some trouble with the elevator not working, but Cindy kept in close touch with us to provide updates. We highly recommend this BEAUTIFUL VRBO! What a fabulous place to celebrate my 75th birthday with friends! You will not be disappointed!

Here’s a polished version for your VRBO review:We had a wonderful stay! The owner was very responsive and communication was excellent throughout our trip. We did have one bed with dirty sheets when we arrived, but he immediately sent the cleaning crew out the next day to take care of it. After that, we had no other issues during our entire stay.The condo was perfect for our group of 10 adults and was stocked with so many helpful extras — cooking spices, laundry detergent, toilet paper, beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, and a cooler. The balcony was absolutely amazing at night and one of our favorite parts of the stay.We also loved that the beach here was less rocky than some of the other beaches we visited nearby. Having the pool and restaurant on-site was another huge plus. Definitely recommend the pizza place across the street too!We would absolutely stay here again!

What a beautiful view of the ocean all around. Loved that the pool was so close and right next to Captain Jacks. We are there 3 times during our stay. Food was wonderful. Also, enjoyed Dolly’s Pizza just across the street. It was very good. Everyone was so friendly and helpful at the front desk. We would highly recommend this beautiful condo!!

This condo really stands out for the views and being right on the ocean! The patio and front window are absolutely beautiful and were definitely the highlight of our stay.That said, there were a few areas that fell short, especially for the price. The beds were quite firm, and with four adults staying, the unit only had three beach chairs, which made it a bit inconvenient for all four of us to enjoy sitting on the beach together. It would also have been a nice touch to provide a few laundry pods; we ended up purchasing detergent for a few loads and left extras behind for future guests.The building itself is older (maybe built in the late 70s) and has a very laid-back vibe, but it can be noisy. We had some rowdy neighbors during our stay, and the back bedroom in particular doesn’t offer much sound insulation, and you can hear quite a bit through the windows. They did, however, offer sound machines.Overall, you’re largely paying for the incredible view. On the plus side, the location is fantastic, just steps from the pool, beach, and a fun restaurant, and we really enjoyed the pool and spa. All in all, we enjoyed parts of our stay, but we’re not sure the overall value quite matched the price we paid.

The condo was large so it was really nice to have the common space and the bedrooms. The beds were comfortable and the view was spectacular! The kitchen pots/pans and knives could use some updating but we made do. The restaurant (Captain Jacks) had the best fries and super nice staff. The location was close to all of our snorkel spots and the weather was just about perfect everyday. We all had a very relaxing vacation and would definitely book this condo again.
