This property anticipates your needs for a trip to HI by providing those extras you need for an island adventure. Umbrella, Snorkeling Gear, Boogie Boards, etc.. We had a slight deviation on our arrival time, and it was handled with ease. When we arrived a day late the facilities person told us about the property, and things to help make our stay more enjoyable. The accommodations are outstanding. It's like being in your home. Not only do you have a great kitchen. The kitchen is also replicated on the pool deck. This facility exceeded expectations. I would choose again.

Great property toward the north end of Kihei. We selected the property as a part of hosting our daughter's wedding in Wailea. Between family and friends on both sides, there were 13 units occupied during the wedding week. Luana Kai is located on the water, the property is well maintained, the individual units are nice and clean, our unit had a nice ocean view, the check-in process was simple and communication with the owners was great. We had a terrific stay. Kihei is also a great central locations to the airport, a short distance to Wailea and a reasonable distance from Kaanapali and/or Kapalua. Our check-in day was the day of the Tsunami. It made the first day memorable. Other than that, everything went great. Thanks to Trisha and the folks at the property for a wonderful stay!

Nice unit. Need a little more attention to detail with some aging furniture but in general a good unit. There was some main water line issues right in front of the neighborhood. It made traffic horrible. Was told my a local that there was flooding earlier in the year so the local authorities are trying to fix something there. My guess this will be resolved over the next 2-3 months but who knows. In general a good value stay. Beach is not the amazing sandy and clear beach you see around the island. The neighborhood HOA doesn’t do a good job of cleaning up the debris near the beach so it’s sad seeing large trash items near the beach.

The beach near by is not the best to walk on if you are going for long walks as the beach can be small if the tide is in.

The view is beyond words! We could have sat and watched the ocean, mountains, and clouds the entire time. The area is very peaceful and has quick access to the beach. We loved our stay at Luana Kai! The suite was as described, spacious and well equipped for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Beautiful view of beach, grounds and pool from the lanai where we spent a lot of time. I had originally been looking at 1 bedroom condos with a sofa bed, and my husband reminded me that teenagers like to sleep in late and leave their stuff everywhere, so we found this great 2 bedroom condo!I was happy when we arrived to find that there was adequate dish soap, paper towel and even laundry soap, as I thought we'd have to buy those from the listing description. The fridge had lots of leftover condiments, and many spices in the drawer, so didn't need to buy all those either. It was so convenient having our own laundry machines, and the barbecues in the pool area were always clean and at least a couple available when we needed one.The only suggestion I would make, would be some sort of blinds or curtains for the sliding door, as the late afternoon sun really heated the condo up. The breeze through from the sliding door to the window in the front bedroom was great at cooling it off after sunset though, and several fans were available also.We loved that the location was so central to everything around the island, but still having a beach right out front to walk or splash in the water. This was an amazing accomodation for our trip to Maui!

The location is the best quality of this rental. There are so many things in walking distance. Great view of the park area and partial ocean. The cleanliness of this unit was subpar. The curtains were dirty and falling off the rod. The pictures on the listing are not up-to-date. The trashcan was broken, the sink in the bathroom had soap residue around it and there was a large stain on the ironing board. There weren’t accessible outlets to plug in your phone on the nightstand. When I arrived with my rental car, the valet told me that private rooms within the hotel are not able to valet in their parking garage. This was news to me because the rental property told me days before I arrived that I would be able to valet in their parking garage. I had to park my car down the street at another hotel and if I wanted to valet my car and take it out at any time it would be 55. That is 15 more/day than the valet at the hotel of the rental. Some of these may seem like minor inconveniences, but make a difference in the long run. The hotel staff was pleasant and the amenities were decent. The rental staff was responsive. Overall, this unit needs a few upgrades.

We had an amazing stay in Maui! Trisha, the property manager, was incredibly communicative and flexible—especially with our late flight times—which made everything smooth and stress-free.The location is perfect: centrally located with easy access to shopping, beaches, hiking, and everything Maui has to offer. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the pool was great, and the beach right in front of the property was perfect for morning walks and sunset views.The unit was well-stocked with everything we needed for a beach vacation—chairs, towels, a cooler, snorkel gear, and more. We traveled as a family of four (with two teens), and there was always something for everyone to enjoy. The new HVAC system kept us cool and comfortable, and I especially loved relaxing on the ocean-facing patio with my morning coffee. We even had a little cardinal visit every morning that my daughter named “Fred”—a sweet and funny touch to our days.We’d absolutely love to return—this place truly felt like a gem!

Luke was easy to communicate with and always responded within 24 hours. The condo had the essentials to cook our own meals, and the condo property had gas grills on site. We will definitely be back.

I highly recommend this property. It is quiet, just off the beach and an amazing view.The main road has portions that aren't really walkable, however everything is a very short drive away. Parking around Kihei was never an issue.Again. Great property/Great Experience

Overall, the place was great for our stay. Furnishings seem out dated but were still nice. Some of the finishings upstairs were lacking and seemed rushed; the trim worked was not complete and as a person that pays attention to detail, this was something I noticed everyday.

This was a very clean condo. Advertised photos were accurate. It was warm upon arrival, but cooled down after opening the windows and screen door (late May). There are ceiling fans in each room and two portable floor fans. The furnishings on the deck are comfortable with a great view. The complex is very well maintained with a clean pool and nice staff.

I hate to spoil the surprise you will get on your first night in this wonderful condo but the sunset views from the lanai are absolutely spectacular! Get yourself a bottle of wine and let Maui treat you to an nearly hour long light show that will delight and captivate you every single night!The location is also great! We traveled the island but no place felt more comfortable than Kihei. It's laid back, convenient, close to multiple great beaches and restaurants. It is also pretty central so day trips to other parts of the island are easy.The park between the condo and the beach is a wonderful asset. Nearby pickleball and tennis courts or just a walk in the soft grass to the beach are at your disposal. The tiny beach at the end of the park is almost like a private beach for condo residents. It was never crowded. It gets rocky fast so it is not really a swimming beach but it is great for hanging out and wading.The little air conditioner wasn't enough for the back bedroom but opening the windows at night cooled things down nicely. We had a wonderful time and I would absolutely stay there again!
