Luana Kai D203 is a sophisticated 2 bedroom, 2 bath resort condo that sleeps up to four guests in a prime oceanfront location. Enjoy 1,150 square feet of luxury living space. Take in the spectacular panoramic ocean and outer island vistas from the large lanai. You will see some of the most beautiful scarlet sunsets, turquoise ocean waters, powder blue skies, and cotton candy white clouds.
Gather at your indoor dining table or dine al fresco on the lanai. In the newly decorated living area, you’ll find a large 55” 4K TCL Roku SmartTV and plenty of space to unwind. The gourmet kitchen features high-end appliances, granite countertops and is well equipped with a generous array of cooking and dining supplies.
Relax in the romantic master bedroom and open format ensuite bathroom. The spa inspired shower is complete with a rain head shower and body sprayers. The retractable 55" 4K TCL Roku SmartTV is viewable from your California king bed.
The second bedroom can be made up as two twin beds or combined as a California king, making this condo perfect for either couples or families. There is an ensuite bathroom for this bedroom that is also accessible from the main living areas.
Included amenities are beach towels, beach chairs, a cooler, body boards and other recreational items. Complimentary high speed wireless internet service, large in-condo laundry with washer/dryer and iron/board are all included with your stay.
Luana Kai D203 is a pickleball players dream because of it's close proximity to the public pickleball courts in front of the resort. Bring your paddles and join in on the fun!
Other resort amenities include free self-parking, a swimming pool, bubbly hot tub, two dry saunas, putting green, shuffleboard, and lush tropical landscaping.
In addition to the 1.5 mile long beach in front of Luana Kai, there are more than a dozen other sandy coves and beaches nearby along the arid south Maui coastline. Within a few minutes drive are the lovely postcard-perfect beaches of Keawakapu, Kamaole II, Kamaole III, Charley Young, and Sugar Beach. All beaches on Maui are open to the public and offer public access with free parking. Many offer restrooms, showers and picnic facilities.
Adventurous visitors can launch a paddle board or kayak from many of the coves and beaches found in Kihei (weather and surf conditions permitting). Venture out amongst schools of brightly colored reef fish or spot a sea turtle, dolphin or humpback whale in the winter season.
There are many great restaurants near Luana Kai Resort. Our favorites include Coconut's Fish Cafe, Monsoon India, Nalu's South Shore Grill, Wow Wow Lemonade (go there for the acai bowls), Miso Phat Sushi, Home Maid Cafe (the best malasadas) and Maui Pie Company. If you prefer to cook, there are a few grocery stores close by.

Spotlessly clean, well appointed and decorated unit, was exactly as expected from listing photos and description. The kids loved the big open grass space between the condo building and the beach/courts to run and play. Pool was nice and clean. The pickleball courts were packed with players starting at 8am each day and they played non-stop until the wind picked up too much, so we heard them play all throughout the day, but it didn’t bother us or our family’s enjoyment of the property at all, in fact people watching was fun, but just something to be aware of if you’re looking for a silent view. Not loud, but not silent either.
Owner was very responsive and helpful, polite and wonderful to work with. Easily a 10/10 experience for us. Would pick this unit again for our next visit!!

This condo was perfect for our 12 day stay in Maui for our honeymoon. It had a great location in Kihei and was easy to get around the island. The condo was beautifully decorated, had a very comfortable bed, and had lots of amenities. We will definitely be back!

This was a really great condo that helped our family have a wonderful trip to Maui. We have a 3 and 5 year old and the two twin beds worked great. The view and the lanai were amazing as well as the kitchen and master bedroom. The location of the condo was also ideal in Kihei allowing pretty easy travel in both directions to explore the island. While we did have one issue while we were there we were able to connect with the property manager who was able to address it within the hour. Again, a great experience to help us enjoy our family vacation in Maui.

This beautifully remodeled unit overlooks a public park with pickleball courts in the foreground and an incredible view of the ocean beyond.
The unit was well appointed and comfortable, though because of the dated amenities, I would not term it "luxury". The proximity to the airport, Wailea golf courses and the many beaches along the south coast were positives, but the space was just too small for our purposes. This was not a vacation for us, but a chance to work remotely from a warm beautiful location. We had hoped to be able to work from the lanai to take advantage of the beautiful ocean view, having no idea that the pickleball courts directly outside the until were in full use by a local league from 7 am until noon every day of the week, so we spend much more time inside the until than we had planned.
The local property manager was incredibly responsive and helped solve a couple of minor issues within minutes!

The condo was very nice but would like to make future travellers aware of the courts directly in front of the condo. These courts are busy from 7AM til the sun sets and the continuous wappa,wappa of the pickle ball paddles as well as the yelling of the players becomes very annoying. Certainly took away from our stay.

This condo was immaculate and beautiful for our family of 4 adults. Plenty of room and a wide outdoor lanai with seating for 6 included a high table to gaze out to the ocean. Kitchen very well stocked with equipment and supplies. Would definitely stay here again.

This unit has a lovely view of the ocean and is very nicely appointed and decorated. The communication with the owners was wonderful. I reduced it from 5 star to 4 stars as there was a mildew smell in the unit.

The condo has a tasteful, updated elegance to it that shows the care that the owners have invested in it so that it feels both welcoming and luxurious. The living room is well-appointed, the kitchen decor is seamless and all the appliances functioned effectively. Although we availed ourselves from the local food carts and restaurants occasionally, it was nice to have a kitchen that made meal preparation so easy. There are A/C units throughout the condo and they can be controlled independently for personal comfort. The beds in both bedrooms were quite comfortable with ensuite bathrooms that had showers equipped with ceiling rain showers and multiple shower heads. It felt delightfully decadent. However, there was a singular feature to the master bedroom that would make Chandler and Joey fans feel like they're living the dream: "a TV that appears as if from nowhere!"
The lanai looks out on a lovely, public green space and a sparkling ocean, but the enthusiastic morning chorus from the pickle ball players can be a bit jarring at times. Nevertheless, the sunsets are always breathtakingly beautiful in the evening. There is an adjacent area that has a small pool and enjoyable hot tub, plus also a plentiful number of BBQs for grilling, with the utensils generously provided.
The location of Luana Kai in Kihei is simply ideal for a variety of beach activities, such as snorkeling, boogie-boarding and suntanning at nearby Big Beach, Maluaka Beach and Keawakapu Beach. Also, local places for dining and refreshment include The Kihei Caffe for breakfast, the South Maui Fish Company for lunch, Nalu's South Shore Grill for dinner and Peace, Love and Shave Ice for...anytime. If you need to go shopping for groceries, there is a Safeway that is about 5 minutes away.
Additionally, we spent significant time in Wailea, Lahaina and Kaanapali in a variety of activities, but our location in Kihei always seemed to make the driving time easily manageable. The condo was well-equipped for our beach excursions with beach chairs, boogie boards, a cooler and equipment for snorkeling.
Luke and Corey were responsive and helpful with a concern that we had and quickly resolved the situation. We had a lovely time at the condo and the beaches are simply gorgeous, and we are eager to come back to a place that seems ideal for both venturing forth in the morning but also returning to in the evening. Thanks for an unforgettable time!
