The condo was in a perfect location, great views of the ocean, clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place. It’s also close to shopping and plenty of really good restaurants. It’s also very spacious. We will certainly try to book this condo again. Next time we are back in Maui.

The beach view was beautiful, with 180 degree view and awesome sunsets at the condo. Very spacious condo and kitchen was fully stocked with cooking equipment. Hosts were very nice, and helpful, as was the front desk and activity coordinator.

The Whaler property is very clean and well maintained. This unit is perfect for 2 people to relax and enjoy everything about Maui. The view from our balcony was excellent to enjoy breakfast and watch the sunrise. Or have a drink and watch the Black Rock divers each evening. The beach was clean and beautiful. The Whaler location is so convenient right next to Whalers village where there are plenty of places to shop or eat and drink. The owners were very responsive to our questions. We would definitely return in the future.

The views from the unit lived up to the pictures in the listing. We had everything we needed in the unit after a trip to the grocery store. We had easy walking access to the shops and restaurants on Kaanapali beach, and the underground parking was easy to access for the days we wanted to go exploring around the area. It was our first time using VRBO for a Maui vacation and I'm glad we made the change. We are looking forward to returning to Kaanapali and this unit in the future.

Everything was great. Host was promptly responsive when we wanted to shift our reservation dates. When we had a small problem with the shower they got maintenance to our room right away. Staff are all courteous and friendly.

The Whaler is a perfect location for anyone to stay at. It is very accessible to Whalers village, which is full of restaurants and shops. But it is the distance to the beach that makes it perfect.

Such a great trip! We've stayed in this unit several times now and always been pleased. I especially enjoy having breakfast on the lanai, then walking the short distance down to the beach. The unit is on the north side of the tower, with a well-kept lawn just beyond the lanai, making it feel private. The unit is comfortable and the kitchen cabinets had everything we needed, also I do appreciate that good-sized bathroom counter. The high-backed beach chairs in the closet were much appreciated! Larry is responsive and communication is easy. When arriving at the Whaler and throughout our stay, front desk staff was friendly and professional. Thanks to all, see you next year.

Been coming to Maui twice a year for 40 years and have stayed at the Whaler a handful of times and always loved it. This trip there was an owners meeting with a bunch of owners present. They were the rudest people I have ever come across here. The Whaler will no longer be considered for our future trips to Maui. There are way to many great places to stay where the people are friendly and appreciate your business.

Our weeklong stay was heaven! I truly believe this is the best rental we could have gotten in Lahaina. The Whaler is quiet, immaculately maintained, private, and gorgeous. Being on the top floor allowed us to see down into the bay through the crystal clear water where we saw a monk seal, turtles galore, and spinner dolphins; oftentimes with swimmers in the water oblivious to their surroundings. Being right next to Whaler Village is great with all kinds of shops available - strongly recommend Island Vintage Coffee where I was introduced to açai and moana bowls each morning with açai smoothies every afternoon! This unit is next door to the Hula Grill (don't forget the Hula Pie) and within walking distance to other restaurants located in the Westin, Sheraton, and other upper class hotels. It will also give you an idea of how special the suite you are in actually is!The unit is beautiful with a fully stocked kitchen of everything you need to cook, large living room and dining room. MBR has a comfortable king bed with a large bathroom/shower/washer/dryer. The second bedroom has two queen beds with a bathroom across the hall. Our adult kids and grandchild took full advantage of the pool, beach, free lounge chairs, and private settings to relax. Beach items such as flippers, snorkel, boards, etc are available in the room which saved on rentals. My wife is limited in her mobility, and we discovered Akamai Mobility in Lahaina which had electric foldable scooters for rent. 5 stars!

This condo is in an ideal location, and the owner is very nice and helpful. I'm sure the condo gets a lot of use. The photos are accurate but must have been taken a long time ago. Everything in the condo is very worn and needs up-dating., even the towels were old and hard. Cupboards and closets need to be cleaned and reorganized. Master shower needs a new control.

We have stayed at several different units at the Whaler, but this was the Best!! George was a very responsive host. The unit was huge for 2 people! Upon entering, the ambience was immediately created with hawaiian landscapes and music on the tv's. The special touches left by the cleaning crew was very impressive. Everything we could possibly need for a wonderful vacation was available in this unit. Will definitely book again!

Condo was just has described. We have rented at the Whaler many times and we love it. Loved the condo and would rate it definitely in the top 3 we have rented. Unfortunately, we had a medical emergency and had to leave after 3 days, thank goodness I purchased the trip insurance.. through VRBO, I will see how the process goes and report back on that.. Aston who I guess manages 619 was amazing in helping us with our medical issue.

Great week at The Whaler! The view was my absolute favorite, the lani is a substantial size for the whole family. We gave my son and daughter in law the bedroom as I’m a very early riser and wanted to be near the coffee pot without disturbing them. We found the sofa bed to be super comfy and the 2nd bathroom gave us all privacy for dressing. Already dreaming about a return visit!!

This is one of the nicest units we have ever rented. The living area and the bedroom both had plenty of room. The kitchen was well-equipped. The free washer and dryer around the corner came in handy. We had a small issue figuring out the TVs, as they work differently. But we figured it out. The view was lovely and the location is fantastic. We would stay there again.

Great condo. Very well equipped kitchen.Convenient to laundry facilities. Big comfy bed. The only negative is not with the unit, but the noise from adjacent Whaler’s Village businesses. It drove us inside at times during the day. Since we were there during a rainy week we spent more time than planned in the condo.
