This was my 11th time to Maui. It’s my favorite place in the whole world. Our room at the Whaler was fantastic. The view looking towards Black rock was stunning. The room was nice and very comfortable. I spend most of my time on the balcony Just enjoying the view. The Whaler is a great location for restaurants and shopping. Just perfect. We did not have to rent a car. I certainly will be back.

Very nice place. Check in was easy, everything in the condo that you need (for cooking etc), and easy access to the beach. Downside was we didn’t know we would be getting charged an additional 35 a day for amenities. We didn’t have a car so didn’t need to park, and they don’t have a restaurant or anything that would be considered an amenity so we weren’t super happy about that. Also was told the afternoon prior that the “pest company” would be spraying the inside of the unit at 9:00 AM and we’d have to be gone for a few hours. We had grandkids with us so asked them not to come.

All around perfect! Location great! Condo clean and stocked. We are a family of 4 so having 2 full size bathrooms was convenient along with the Murphy bed and pull out couch. We all had our own space. The hosts were very responsive.

It was a very nice unit. We would stay there again. The refrigerator didn’t get very cold so our water and soda wasn’t very cold. The only other downside was there was only one boogie board and it was cracked. Other than that it had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation.

We have been to Hawaii several times. My family all acknowledged that this has been our favorite stay. The room was desirable, the terrace was amazing, and a 90 second walk to the beach was amazing. We hope to return soon.

The condo was amazing! It is a studio, but was so spacious and had so much light we never felt cramped. The ocean view from the balcony was awesome to enjoy while having coffee in the morning. The location couldn't have be beat. We were so close to Black Rock and it's great snorkeling. Maui Brewing at the complex next door was an added bonus. They thought of everything. The chairs, umbrella and cooler meant we didn't have to rent anything (altho I did rent a boogie board which was a blast). We will definitely hope to get this place again next time we're in Maui.

Super clean and lots of room in bedroom and bathroom. I gave a 4 star rather than 5 due to if you need help with luggage or brining heavy items up there was no one to assist. Some earlier reviews about smelling food from restaurants below were luckily unfounded. Nice view from balcony as well. Definitely worth it.

This is my second year in a row staying in this unit at the Whaler. It's clean and well appointed with an updated kitchen. King bed and couch area for relaxing. It has everything you need to start your mornings and has a great view of Black Rock. The studios are perfect for 2 people. The Whaler property itself is central to anything you need do on Kaanapali (recreation, food, bars, golf, shopping). I will definitely be back.

Our stay was AMAZING! This condo had everything we needed and then some. I especially liked having the large Brita filter in the refrigerator. It definitely came in handy. This property exceeded our expectations. Not only was it very clean, but it also had breathtaking views. I definitely recommend staying here.

We came for our daughter’s graduation trip and had an amazing time! Loved the location and being right next to Whalers Village. The beach was beautiful and loved that the resort provided chairs for us out on the beach at no extra charge. Also grateful for the chairs and cooler the condo itself had for when we drove down to Kihei for the day. Loved the convenience of a resort but the comfort of a spacious condo. Would highly recommend this condo to anyone wanting to stay in this area!

1. Property owner was wonderful--quick to respond, very helpful, and kind.2. Overall impressions of condo: impeccably clean; nice decor without being cluttered and too much like many condos; looks as if it's been recently updated. 3.Great views. Partial from various angles inside and fantastic views from lanai! The unit is just a few back from ocean front.4. Kitchen: fully equipped with anything you'd need e.g. many cooking utensils, plenty of pots and pans and lots of storage containers. Some cooking oils and spices. Ice Maker (not the case at all Whaler Condos). Keurig & regular coffee maker.5. Bathroom lighting. This is huge for me :) It's extremely rare to find a rental that has good lighting for putting on makeup or is at a minimum not too dark or an obnoxious color. And, the master has a magnifying mirror to affix to the mirror...nice touch! Also the second bath is a full bath which is especially nice. Not a second bath or just half in a lot of the Whaler Condos. A lot of counter space in both as well. 6. Storage. There's more than enough room in closets, dressers and bathroom drawers and cupboards to put your things if you like to unpack everything. More than enough hangers.7. Beach Gear: Plenty! 4 Tommy Bahama beach chairs (which are the best to have if you're not familiar), umbrella, and more! AND...very nice to open the door and see a nice note, pineapple, a bakery treat and a very nice selection of coffee and tea!Will definitely be back!

This place is in the perfect spot—right next to Whalers Village in Kaanapali. You can walk along the beach path not only to Whalers Village but also to Black Rock. It couldn’t be more convenient.We were greeted by a friendly front desk team, which made a great first impression. The condo is on the 11th floor of a well-kept, upscale building. From up there, you get gorgeous ocean views to the south and peaceful green fairways to the north—really easy on the eyes.Jim, the owner, was fantastic. He responded quickly, was super polite, and made everything smooth and stress-free. He’s a true pro and pays attention to the details.As soon as we walked into the unit, we could feel how well thought out everything was. The colors, the furniture, the overall atmosphere—it felt like home right away, and our travel fatigue just disappeared.After our first night, we noticed even more thoughtful touches. We had a wonderful stay at this condo right next to Whalers Village. The location couldn’t be more convenient — steps from shops, restaurants, and right on a beautiful beach with tons of activities like snorkeling, parasailing, and jet skiing available just outside the door.The condo itself was spotless and well-maintained, with very comfortable beds and pillows that made for restful nights. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, and the wraparound porch offered great views — perfect for morning coffee or evening sunsets. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras like beach chairs, toys, and other beach gear.The only thing to note is that the balcony faces Whalers Village, so you do hear the low hum of AC units. It didn’t bother us much, but it’s worth mentioning if you are looking for very quiet Overall, a fantastic stay in a clean, comfortable condo with unbeatable access to everything Maui has to offer. This home is truly amazing. It's even better in person. It has everything you could want for a relaxing getaway.Loved the location. Took lots of walks, went shopping,restaurants are super close and good. Had to go to Mama's Fish House, Merriman's and Plantation House.The sound of the waves, the sunrise & sunsets are hard to beat. Oh and turtles swimming by daily!!We had a slight hiccup on first day but Stay Aloha was quick to respond and took care of everything. We would love to go back and stay longer. This April was our second time in this unit at the Whaler! This location is by far the best. So close to everything you need and the corner balcony provides views for days. It is such a lovely unit and very comfortable. Everything from check-in to communicating with property manager. The pool and beach front cant be beat. 5 stars all around and would highly recommend. I think about these views daily and wish I could still be there. Book now, you wont be disappointed.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The owner was very responsive to our communications, both before we arrived as well as while we were there. The property was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our walks along the beach walk and the beach was clean and well maintained. In addition, we very much enjoyed snorkeling there. Just a short walk to the edge of the beach to the right and we swam with a large variety of colorful fish, other sea life, and multiple turtles. Certainly a highlight of our overall trip.

Very nice stay here and would stay here again. The corner layout makes it feel open and light. That said, it's right next to the pickle ball courts which open at 8 am, so some morning noise is possible with the doors open.
