I reported personally to property Manager that the dryer had stopped working, and a Technician was sent within the hour and had it fixed, by replacing the belt. Thank you.We used the ceiling fans most of the time than the AC unit.The ladies had no complaints on the kitchen gadgets.The rooms were easy to make tidy.One of the shower closets had slow drainage.Overall, we had a comfortable stay.

The property was great. It's a two minute walk to the beach. There are a number of very good restaurants around (Kihei Fish & Chip, Miso Phat, etc.) The bathroom is a little dated (the shower stall is a bit small). Other than that, the condo is on the 4th floor and high enough that you can see the water over the property in front of it. For the location and the price, it's a great value.

Horrible loud concrete drilling exactly beside our bedroom window 3 different days. We’re retired and like to take daily naps. NOT POSSIBLE. My husband was swearing so much it was upsetting. He had recent major heart surgery and this was not good for him.

Great location and fantastic view. It was the perfect size for my husband and I. We love Kam 1 beach, which is a 3 minute walk. There are many wonderful shops and restaurants within walking distance. You get a fantastic view of the sunset every night. We stayed in March and spotted whales in the water! Be sure to bring binoculars!

This was a wonderful condo centrally located in Kihei. The vacation necessities that normally need to be purchased were in the condo: coffee, shampoo, conditioner, supplies to do laundry, etc. Everything that is needed for a day at the beach is at the condo: coolers, beach chairs, sand toys, and an umbrella. The unit is updated, very well equipped and very clean. It looks exactly as the pictures show in the listing. There is an air-conditioning unit in the living room and in the bedroom. They both worked great.This unit is on the 2nd floor so there isn't an unobstructed ocean view, but you can see the ocean from the lanai and there is a wonderful deck on the 7th floor with BBQ's and tables to enjoy an ocean view and sunset! There is a great beach right across the street where you can watch the sunset as well. We cannot say enough about the hosts of this condo. If we had questions we received a quick response. We were in Maui during the first round of Kona storm and our hosts reached out to make sure we were ok. We hope to return to this unit in the near future

3 bedrooms was ideal for our group. We stayed during a violent and lengthy storm and there was a little water leak in the main bedroom but otherwise the unit was secure. We enjoyed the pool area and it was set up nicely to allow our 11 month-old grandson to enjoy the pool too. We loved the central location of the property.

Great location and comfortable place to hunker down during the March Kona low weather system. Owners were very responsive as we dealt with weather issues outside their control. Kids enjoyed the bonus sand toys when we had the chance to sneak to the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Truly a fantastic location with an ocean view from the balconies and a 2 minute walk to Kamaole Beach 1, as well as an ABC store / gas station 1/2 block away, and many food options within a few blocks. All the beach gear available to use was so convenient and we made good use of the chairs, a body board, and a snorkel set all week. On our last night we went up to the rooftop to watch the sunset and had a great view of a 30 minute show of 3-4 whales (including a baby) very active and playing / splashing!Would definitely recommend especially if you need a 3BR!

Excellent property, near all amenities that you need. Has a parking spot for your stay. The condo is clean, tidy and well stocked, just need to buy your food!!! The best part, is the perfect position for sundown! We also viewed whales from the balcony, binoculars were a nice touch! Communication with the owners was excellent and questions usually answered within a couple of hours, even with a 10 hour time difference! I would recommend this property.

The condo was sparkling clean and stocked with everything we needed throughout our month's stay. It is located on an upper floor of the Kamaole Beach Royale, which gave us an unobstructed view of the ocean, the south end of Kamaole Beach I, whales and sunsets from the lanai. There are a variety of restuarants within several blocks, as well as a small grocery store and a convenience store. Kamaole Beach I and park are just a half block's walk. Driving access to the Piilani Highway is easy for reaching the airport and visits to Wailia as well as other areas on the island. Anita and Jim were excellent hosts. We rented in this condo in February 2026.

Truly gorgeous views! Ocean sounds lulling us to sleep! Whale watching from the lanai! One sunset we must have seen 5 whales doing their thing! A breach, a blow hole, a fin or tail slap; we saw it all! And so close! Magnificent!Quick and easy walk to the calm and warm waters of Kam I Beach, multiple convenience stores and wonderful dining experiences within walking distance, or a short drive. Never contacted the owner. Have stayed at MANY units in this complex. This was by far, the worst one we've experienced. Electrical issues need to be updated IMMEDIATELY. We knew ahead of time that the only way to use the AC was to plug/unplug it. It was running when we arrived. Later we chose to unplug it. When we did, sparks flew out of the outlet (220/240). DANGEROUS!!!! We never attempted to use it again. MANY light switches and fans do not work at all, and some do not work correctly. The patio door AND screen were pretty much inoperable. A woman staying alone in that unit, would not have been able to open nor close them, thereby getting stuck either INSIDE, or OUTSIDE on the lanai. AND, the door falls off of the track. AGAIN, EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. One could VERY easily get their fingers cut off......nope, not exaggerating, when it chooses to fall off track. I would NEVER occupy this unit with children. In fact, I will NEVER occupy this unit again. I truly believe that this unit was very nice at one time. The beds were comfy, the appliances were an upgrade from the other units we've stayed in, although the handle on the freezer door is broken off, making it very difficult to access that compartment, and the furniture was of good quality with the exception of the lanai furniture which is well beyond its lifespan. VRBO, YOU DEFINITELY NEED TO CHECK THIS PROPERTY OUT. YOU'RE TOYING WITH LAWSUITS FROM FUTURE GUESTS. ELECTRICAL, AND PATIO DOOR ISSUES.

The location, resort amenities (pool, barbecues, etc.), size of unit and bed comfort were very good to excellent. However, the cleanliness of the unit was sub par at best. Kind of felt like it wasn’t even cleaned between guests. Either that or it’s so grungy that the floors and furniture need complete replacement.
