Great stay for me and my kids. Plenty of room, and a nice layout. Felt cozy and together, but everyone had their own space. We rented a large SUV which didn't fit in the garage, so finding parking during the holiday week was tricky, but we always found a spot. Walking to the market at Queens marketplace was huge. The kids loved the pool at the complex, although we did use the Hilton passes a few times. Condo was well stocked, we had everything we needed as far as cutlery, plates, etc. We didn't cook in the condo, but it seemed there was plenty of options for that. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the condo hasn't been updated in a while, but everything is functional and fine. We lovingly referred to it as "Grammy's place", because it felt like we were staying at a relatives condo. I mean that in the best way :) We will definitely stay here again if we come back to the big island. Convenient and close to things, but still a little respite.

Leilani Kei (H4) is exactly what is written by others from the reviews and pictures. A Beautiful, clean condo with comfy beds and pillows that had nice quality sheets. An extremely well stocked kitchen with oil & spices for making our delicious dinners. Great selection of utensils and cookware too. The art throughout the home represented the island’s history and added pleasure to our time when we were home. There is a regular coffee maker & an electric tea kettle. There is also a rice cooker there. We appreciated the water filter pitcher in the fridge which we used daily for clean water. We had 2 families, so the downstairs bedroom worked great for me and my husband with our own bathroom. Upstairs, our daughter and husband had their own bed, bathroom and lanai. The teens shared a bed and had their own bathroom which gave everyone their own space. If the owner ever wanted to change things, I would suggest putting 2 twin beds instead of a queen, but it was fine! We had some frustration trying to figure out the TV in the downstairs bedroom which is not a smart TV, but we figured it out. The main TV was very good. I suggest to add more beach towels to your inventory, there were 3 and 3 fabric mats. But, the manager, Adriana came to our rescue with 3 of her own beach towels. Thank Adriana! We loved sitting in the patio with a gorgeous view of the lush grounds. The condo is less than a 1 minute walk to the pool/hot tub & great BBQ area. Great trip! Mahalo, Jenny

The property location is nice and amenities were as expected. We had some issues with bugs in the unit which is not unusual in the islands, but the property manager sent out pest control right away to treat the unit. I would suggest having the unit treated more often.

Cozy house, great set up! It was so nice to have a back yard and plenty of space to relax. The washer/dryer is a life saver on a long vacation.The community is quiet and secure with gates and walkable to great shops and a market.

Very well appointed condo! It had everything we needed to cook great meals! The beds and pillows provided very comfortable sleep. The condo had great airflow and we only lowered the ac on a couple of hot days. Great pool and excellent BBQ area. The location was perfect with a movie theater, shopping a full grocery with some of the best poke’ I have eaten. Roy’s restaurant has a great menu and even the kids loved it! Marc is one of the best hosts I have encountered with VRBO. He provided instructions for everything and suggestions for things to do! Thanks so much for a wonderful vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at J32 and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location was incredibly convenient - right across from a grocery store, food court, and several shops, which made day to day planning so easy.The apartment itself was very spacious, with plenty of room to relax, and the views were absolutely gorgeous. We loved looking out over the golf course and mountains - it was peaceful and scenic. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, and we really appreciated that there was an abundance of dish soap, laundry detergent, and paper towels. Not having to worry about basic supplies was a big plus.The balcony quickly became our favorite spot. It featured a cozy sofa, a built in grill, and a dining table that we used for both breakfasts and dinners while watching golfers pass by. It was the perfect place to unwind.We had one minor maintenance request during our stay, and it was addressed immediately, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, this was a fantastic stay. We truly enjoyed our time at J32 and would absolutely return.

The condo was in the perfect location and had a wonderful view, but a lot of the appliances did not work well. The microwave, oven, and hair dryer were terrible quality and not useable. We also had ants and I called and emailed about them and never got a response. Every condo in Hawaii is great, but this wasn't my favorite, unfortunately.

Beautiful clean spacious condo - ideal size for our family of 4. Perfect amount of decor, allowing plenty of table/counter space for our stuff. Bedding super comfortable. We all slept very well. Nice details like high end paper products, themed hand soaps, loads of hangers, and dimmer light switches. Patio overlooking golf course felt private and could be used even when raining. Host easy to communicate with and provided lots of tips and suggestions. Location for this side of the island was great - easy walk to beach, coffee, restaurant and shopping and quick drive to resorts and other beaches. We would happily book again with this condo and host!

This is the best host we've ever rented from. Communication was great. We felt very welcome when we arrived at the condo. We arrived to a personalized welcome sign and macadamia nut chocolates. There are very helpful labels all over the condo. The pantry was very well stocked with small extras like spices and oils. The toiletries provided were top notch with plenty of extras that were available. The condo is in top notch condition and very clean. Due to all these reasons when we travel back to the Big Island we will look to stay at a property with this host again. The beach amenities provided were great and we used them several times during our stay. They are located in the garage which is very convenient since you either park in the garage or just outside of it. The location of the pool is very close to the condo. The pool area is not large but very nice. The only issue we had was with the hot tub. Something they use caused all 4 of us to to itch. I discussed that problem with the pool manager but she said all the chemicals were in balance. I tried the hot tub again later during our trip and had the same problem while in the water. It did not seem to bother the other guy I was talking to while I was in there so who knows. The itchiness went away not long after I go out. We did not have this issue with the pool. Queens Marketplace and the Kings shops are an easy walk from the condo and so is A-bay beach. Property grounds are very well maintained.

Everything was excellent, clean and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were simple and convenient! We had enough room to accommodate us on the main floor so we did not need to use the loft upstairs. All was provided clean and ready for use. The location suited all our needs. We had the chance to meet the host as we were leaving and she was friendly and warm — it was clear she has good energy and it shows in the place! Just all around a terrific stay! Can’t recommend it enough.

We had a very nice time. The condo was clean, close to the pool and Queens Market. Plenty of kitchen supplies and beach toys. We have been to Wakiloa Beach properties many times and it's a quiet atmosphere with nice neighbors and staff. Super nice pool and hot tub. Very clean and well tended. We loved the birds nesting in the trees. We'll be back!

When checking in at night, I was told to enter the 6 number door code and then hit the star button, but after about 30 attempts, I decided to hit the check mark instead, which worked. Very frustrating. I did let them know this was a mistake on their part. I hope in the future, they provide the correct information.

As soon as we walked into the beautiful condo and heard the Hawaiian music on the tv going, I was blown away! The place was immaculately clean, and perfect for our family. It had all of the comforts of home, even a beautiful lanai with outdoor kitchen. The beds were so comfy! There was plenty of beach gear in the garage which we used one day. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return here again! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Our stay was nearly perfect.The only drawback was the ice machine did not work in the refrigerator and although I mentioned it to the host on day two, they did not get back to me during our 14 days stay. Also, the condo is in really desperate need of a deep cleaning. But the property itself is fantastic and we would return without hesitation.

We had a wonderful stay here. Great place to stay with the kids.The house itself is beautiful, in a wonderful location. The amenities were everything you could think of. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean, and kitchen was well stocked. It's an easy access to shops, beach and Hilton property. The pass was helpful. Amy was responsive during our entire time. For things that may need a bit improvement - During our time we didn't get to grill. It was only after we had prepped things we realized that there was no propane. This wasn't fixed during our stay. We didn't get access to the garage not sure why. Until a couple days later we didn't know that there was a garage door that was unlocked and it had all the beach toys and stuff. Would have been helpful to know in advance. Apart from these minor issues we had a great stay.

Matt's condo was absolutely perfect for my family and I to celebrate my hubby's 60th on the Big Island!! It was stocked with more than everything we needed: beach supplies (chairs, umbrellas, coolers, etc.), kitchen appliances, laundry detergent, toiletries, and if you have small children, there are pack-n-plays, highchairs and a nice jogging stroller in the garage. The TV in the living room is gigantic - not that we watched TV much but when the World Series was on, we got to watch our LA Dodgers win!! The condos distance to the pool was a few steps out the back patio and location of complex could not have been better. Several shops, grocery stores, coffee shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. I had a few questions for Matt when we were there and he promptly got back to me. We will most definitely stay at Matt's condo again when we return to Hawaii.
