Our stay at Waikoloa Beach Villas in J4 was nothing short of amazing! The condo property is well maintained and beautiful. The condo itself is immaculate, gorgeous and everything you could want in a vacation rental and more. The condo itself is well appointed with everything you need for a luxurious stay for your vacation. It was like being in my own home, with everything we needed at our fingertips. The attention to detail that Michelle the owner has put into this home is amazing! I looked at the pictures of this condo for months before we finally got there for our vacation. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. Wonderfully decorated, comfortable and with everything you need to enjoy your time in Waikoloa. We had everything that you could possibly need to go to the beach or play in the pool which was great! We enjoyed the beautiful wrap around lanai and the amazing built-in barbecue. In addition, it came with a Hilton pool pass, which we used several times. This condo is located close to some of the most beautiful popular beaches on the big island. It is conveniently located within walking distance of the Queens and Kings Marketplaces. Over the years we have rented other condos in Waikoloa and I can honestly say this is the best one we have ever stayed in. Now it is the only one we will ever stay in when we come to Waikoloa. It was hard to leave after our two weeks because it felt so comfortable and homey. Michelle, the owner is absolutely wonderful and very personable. She responds immediately if you have a question. If I could give a rating higher than a five I absolutely would. We look forward to coming back to J4 on our next visit to the Big Island! Mahalo Michelle for being such a great host and having such a beautiful property stay in. The McGonigals 🌺🌺

Highly recommend this particular villa..............with the location, built-in gas grill and discounted golf rates, you can't beat it. We return to Waikoloa Village every few years and this is definitely our favorite rental. Everyone in our group also commented on the comfort of each of their beds. Nothing negative to say about this place. Enjoy!!

This was one of the very best places we have been privileged to stay in around the world! Top quality, warm and welcoming, a spacious home away from home. High-end finishes, luxury bed linens and towels, extremely well-equipped kitchen; the owners have thought of everything, even providing beach chairs and snorkeling gear. In a beautiful location overlooking the golf course, just a 2-minute walk to the pool, and 5-minute drive to the beach. Highly recommended. Mahalo!

This was our first trip to Hawaii and this location was nothing but perfect for my family. Not only is it a beautiful property/condo, it is across a shopping center that has what you need including dining options. Everything was perfectly clean, well equipped, and beds were comfortable! The Hilton Pool pass, beach chairs and ice chest were a huge plus for us. Michelle is a great host and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. I definitely recommend and look forward to staying again.

The property is in the Waikoloa Villas just across from the Queens market. It has a golf course view from the lanai (no ocean view). The unit is very well provisioned and had all the items you would need. Everything was in very good condition and very clean. We only used the master bedroom but the mattress was very comfortable and the property is very peaceful at night. Communication with the owner was excellent! It is clear that Michelle really keeps the property up to a high standard. We did take advantage of access to the Hilton beach resort which was great. The resort is amazing with a kids pool, natural ocean fed lagoon for swimming, water slides and much more. Definitely a great perk.

We loved the spacious, well-stocked and ideally-located Waikaloa Villa. We spent lots of time on nearby beaches of champagne sand, loved running across the street to the market for last-minute items, did a lot of grilling on the fancy Viking barbecue, and took nice long drives to other parts of the island knowing we could come back to the hot tub and comfortable beds in the evenings.

We had a wonderful short stay at Waikoloa Beach Villas. This is an extremely well appointed and meticulously maintained 3 Bedroom/Bathroom Home. The property is exceptionally furnished, (from front door to master bedroom), with just about any and every useful/useable amenity you would want in a vacation home. It has a sensibly laid out gourmet kitchen with a vast array of operable cookware, utensils, dishes, glasses and modern appliances. A very comfortable living area with multiple amenities and a walkout Lani suitable for 2 or a family. The master bedroom surrounds you in “Aloha” and has a private Lani for that early morning coffee or evening relaxation or just watching the golfers move up the fairway. Speaking of Golf, this home provides the best discount for two golfers at Waikoloa Beach Golf Courses. We will continue to come back to this Gem of a Home for our stay on Hawaii. Rick

We stayed 4 nights during the thanksgiving break here. The location is awesome and close to a super market (queens island gourmet I think) and other shopping areas. We loved the Anaehomolu beach, which is under 5 minutes drive from the villa. There were beach chairs/umbrellas/mats etc in the garage that we could use which was a surprise and come in quite handy. The villa is impressively thoughtfully furnished. Overall, everyone had a blast!

I cannot say enough good things about this home! So beautiful, spacious, and clean! The kitchen is fully stocked, I was so impressed by the supplies! The rooms are large. We had 5 people in the home and never felt like we were on top of each other. My daughter went to the pool daily. It was perfect for kids, very clean and never crowded. We loved the location. Across the street you have coffee, groceries, dining and shopping. The owner was incredibly responsive and patient. I contacted Michelle for various questions before our visit and during. She replied immediately and was able to answer any questions. I will definitely book this specific home again when I return to the Big Island! Thank you, Michelle, for renting us your lovely home and allowing us an opportunity to make wonderful memories with my family!

Gorgeous house in the perfect location for our family vacation. This house has everything you need. We especially enjoyed having all the beach gear located in the garage. The kids loved being close to the shopping mall. They also enjoyed the pools and hot tubs. Very beautiful well maintained property. We enjoyed our stay so much. We would definitely stay here again.

This place is super comfortable, great patio space, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, fun Hawaiian decor, great beach supplies, this place really has everything you need for an awesome stay! Reservations, check-in, check-out processes were all super easy and the owner was very easy to communicate with. Giving a 4-star (excellent) vs 5-star (perfection) due to bath towels needing a refresh, the water/ice feature not working on the refrigerator and it creating a lot of frost build up inside the freezer, and the back patio needed some cleaning upon on our arrival, but overall this place was great and we would absolutely stay here again.

This property has been nicely renovated and comes very well equipped! The kitchen is well stocked with numerous gadgets, utensils, pots and pans, you name it. There are also lots of great beach toys in the garage to take care of just about any adventure/activity you want to do. The beds are very comfortable and the overall property is well maintained and well kept. Great location and within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, etc. Michelle is an excellent host and very responsive should you need her. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and hope to be back soon. Mahalo Michelle

This was a lovely property. Nice layout of the house with one room on the bottom floor and two rooms on the second floor with a lovely spacious hallway on the second floor. The house was across the street from a Marketplace where you can buy groceries, a Macaroni Grill restaurant. The beach was a 10-15 minute walk. Hawaiin shaved ice was a 5-minute walk. The kitchen was so well stocked. So many spices, kitchenware, and everything you need! Some things that we noted needed improvement-downstairs bathroom fan not working (they said parts will come in a couple of months to fix), the dishwasher was very inconvenient and their tall drinking glasses would not fit inside of it. The garbage disposal did not work. The downstairs lighting was very dim in the family room. Could definitely use more light! The showers did not give hot water (only warm). Also very hard to get water from the fridge. You had to open the door and get it from inside the fridge and the filter was not replaced. The water from the actual kitchen sink smelled so didn't want to drink that. In all, it was a nice property with some things that could use improvement.

It was perfect!!! Super clean; comfortable; has everything you need, even for beach time and snorkeling. Lovely kitchen nicely equipped Master bedroom has sunrise view: we woke up every day at 5:30 am so we wouldn’t miss a single one. Love the location within the Waikola Beach area. Took morning walks to the shore near a Preserve that would then circle back along the bay. We would definitely stay here again!!!!!

April 2023
Lovely unit, well maintained and plenty of room for everyone! Having 3 bathrooms was a great perk for everyone to be able to get ready at the same time. The proximity/walkability to shopping, restaurants, beaches, walking paths and so much more was amazing! Well stocked kitchen for those looking to share family meals, especially out on the patio where you can watch the local goats hanging out with the golfers ;) Great home base for adventurous groups. So easy to drive to multiple routes …..Hilo, south point, etc. Had a great visit at Puʻukoholā Heiau National Historic Site where we saw humpbacks from above! Loved how close Lava Lava Beach Club was for sunset evenings. Music was exceptional and enjoyed the family lawn games while we waited! The host was very responsive and could not have been nicer!

This is an outstanding property with all the comforts of home. Well presented, exceptionally clean and in a prime location for easy movement around Waikoloa. Particular attention to detail was highlighted by the numerous amenities available for use and the owners thoughtful recommendation of things to do around the area. The golf discount is exceptional and the morning/evening views from the Lanai are outstanding. We are looking forward to returning again.

December 2022
We had a conference to attend at the Fairmont but prefer to stay with family in a home. This was indeed a home. It was quiet and beautifully appointed. The lanai with bbq looking over the golf course was lovely in the morning with coffee and just as nice to grill steaks and drink wine in the evening. We ran out of propane and they had it replaced within the hour, needless to say we were impressed. The request to empty the fridge at the end was a bit hard as we had lots of unused groceries- eggs broccoli etc that we felt awful tossing rather than letting housekeeping see what they might be able to use. We did leave a few unopened items and didn’t get dinged but threw away a lot. We understood the rationale of not leaving a mess but wish there was a local food shelter listed or some alternative. The request that we do at least one load of wash and dry before leaving was ok for us as we left late in the day , and had booked for a night that we didn’t stay-but may not be easy for all so should be known up front. We would recommend the place wholeheartedly and would be privileged to stay again . Thanks for sharing your beautiful home , it enhanced our time on the Big Island!

My wife and I where fortunate to have chosen this place for our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing! Only 20 minutes north of the Kona airport, it was a very easy drive along the coast. It was the perfect retreat for our daily excursions, with a nice market across the way to grab a quick bite to eat and anything you may need for your days adventure. There are multiple restaraunt's within either short walk or 2-3 minute trip by car. The property has very nice and up to date furniture and beds, while having almost whatever you could want in the kitchen to prepare your own meals. They also keep some snorkeling equipment, chairs, umbrellas and coolers in the garage for you to freely use! Overall, my wife and I absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to book again for our next great Hawaiian getaway!

This is a beautiful home and completely outfitted with everything you need. We had so much fun during our stay here (just one week, next time I hope we can stay longer!). The house is well equipped with every kitchen tool you might need and there’s also all the beach toys, towels, chairs, etc you’d ever want. Walking distance to great restaurants and shopping, beautiful beaches are just a short drive away. Plenty of space for you and your friends. We will definitely be back 👍

Our stay in the villa was amazing! We loved having coffee on the patio and watching the sun come up. The grounds are so beautifully kept, and the villa is completely stocked with everything you could need. Shopping, restaurants, and the beach are all really close. This made our first trip to Hawaii a real success!

We had a great time here during our stay. Beautiful space, great location just across the street from the Queens market. We made use of the beach chairs and umbrellas and the igloo cooler was great. There is a good bit of driving involved on the big island, it was 2 hours to Volcano Natl Park, 30 minutes to Kona and 10 minutes to beaches that take your breath away. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time on the island and could not have been happier with our accommodations. Michelle was incredible to work with and went over and above to make sure we were taken care of. The place was immaculate and just enhanced the whole experience. We will be staying here again! Thank you!

This condo is absolutely beautiful!!! From the beautiful entry way, to the well appointed interior, we had everything we needed and then some. We really enjoyed sitting on the lanai listening to the birds sing and looking at the beautiful scenery. The condo is walking distance to great shopping and restaurants. The owner, Michelle, is very communicative and very easy to work with. Thank you for everything!

February 2022
Condo is stunning and very comfortable! We all slept so well. Fabulous location as you can quickly walk to two shopping centers, and a bit further was the beach. Kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with everything one could want. It was also great to have beach things (chairs, snorkel equipment, water shoes, etc) available to use. There are indeed two pools at the property, but they are both quite small, with only 6-8 chairs at each. If your plan is to do nothing but sit at the pool, you’re gonna have issues. And beware of the management (lady from the complex, not owners/managers of this unit) as she’s a real bi**h. This was an 80h birthday trip for my mom, and it was everything we had hoped for!

Absolute 5 star villa in every way. Location is superb. Walkable to shops, beach, restaurants and Marriott. Golf deal included in the package is awesome (saves a foursome $400 a round!). Nice golf course views from lanai and master bedroom balcony. Everything in this villa is top of the line - granite, self closing cabinets, high end washer/dryer, Viking BBQ… We loved this place!

We absolutely loved this house. One of the best we've ever stayed in. The layout is great, the house is clean, the beds are comfortable, the outdoor patio is fantastic, the kitchen is stocked with all one needs (including spices), and the host is super responsive and a great communicator. It's the ideal of what a great vacation rental experience should be.

November 2021
We had a fantastic stay. We had a little bit of trouble with the door code but Michelle found a solution. The condo was amazingly appointed and decorated. We had everything we needed to make meals and snacks. The outside area was relaxing, unfortunately the ceiling fan over the couch and chairs was not working. It didn't stop us from enjoying the turkeys and mongoose (mongeese?) that wondered by. The weather was perfect as always on the Kohola coast. Maholo Michelle for the use of your beautiful home. After returning home I received correspondence accusing me of ‘tampering’ with a Ring doorbell shortly after I had arrived at the house. I was on vacation with my husband, 5 year old and 9 year old, so I had tons of time to hack into their Ring. So ridiculous. However, the exchange tainted our trip, Michelle actually said “the customer isn’t always right”, well in this case I most definitely am right. Apparently - they got a complaint that 10 people were staying there, again nonsense, this was never addressed while we were there. I wonder why! We didn’t complain that the grill hadn’t been cleaned when we arrived. I told Michelle as we were leaving, she never mentioned the Ring in that exchange or the extra individuals. I find it strange that I’ve been home 3 days and now there’s an issue. Deposit - I will wager. Don’t stay here, there are so many options on the island that have nicer pools and much better hosts. I’m not sure what they think they can gain by their accusatory tone but needless to say we will never stay there again and I hope this review steers you clear. Apart from anything else it will save you from their laundry rule in which you are responsible for cleaning the sheets etc, even though you are paying for a cleaner. Absurd. The rudest hosts ever. Save yourself the hassle go to Mauna Lani, much nicer and civilised.

We had the most perfect stay in Waikoloa! The condo was gorgeous and equipped with everything you could hope for and more; especially the kitchen. Waking up to the beautiful view from the master bedroom lanai was such a treat each morning. The location is perfect right across from the Queens Market where we visited daily for Starbucks after our morning walks. The Kings Market is just down from there where we discovered the best shaved ice ever at OBISIC! Lastly, the garage was filled with everything you could possibly need for your day at the beach. We used the beach chairs daily and the boogie boards when visiting Hapuna Beach! Thank you Michelle for helping to make our trip so wonderful!

We enjoyed the solitude and privacy of the Waikoloa condo. It is conveniently located within walking distance of the Queens Marketplace and Kings Shopping Center. It is also convenient for excursions to Kona as well as Hilo. The condo is beautiful and well equipped for anything you could possibly want. We had a glorious experience!

This was one of the most enjoyable vacation our family has even had ! We have stayed in holiday homes and vacation rentals before but none matched the elegance of this beautiful villa. The location was perfect, convenient to the beach, golf courses and shopping of Waikoloa. Planning a vacation with 20 year old and 17 year old boys can be challenging but our kids were never bored taking full advantage of the scuba- diving beginner program offered by Ocean Sports conveniently located at the nearly Hilton as well as great day of zip-lining at the Big Island Eco Adventure in Hawi

August 2011
My family loved out stay in this beautiful home. The house is fully equipped . The location is withing easy walking to a great little "turtle beach" Close to morning coffee and a short drive to some great snorkle beaches. We would definitely recommend a stay here and we are planning to return. Everything about this spot was perfect.

June 2011
Everything about this condo is excellent.......great location (on ground level with nice view of golf course), beautiful, well-kept landscaping, very tasteful and comfortable furnishings, great floor plan, very comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, flat screen tv's in great room and all bedrooms, boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs, cooler, umbrella. There are some great sandy beaches in the area....some are better for snorkeling and some are better for boogie boarding......ask around and it's not too difficult to figure out. We went to the Waikola Marriott Luau and thought it was good food and very entertaining. If you book on-line, you can save $8.00 each.

June 2011
We loved our stay at the Waikoloa Beach Villas. Walking distance (or shuttle from Queens Marketplace) to the entire area. Great restaurants, beach, shopping. The condo itself was very nicely furnished, quiet, peaceful. Lots of special touches like dvd's, coffee, tea, condiments, spices, beach toys, umbrella, chairs, towels and everything we needed for a great week. The binder of local info/menus was helpful as well. Great value. Would have slept 6-8 comfortably. We only had 4 and one bedroom and bath went unused empty. Pool is small but very nice and not crowded. No fighting for a lounger like at the hotels. We loved our dinner at the Beach Tree Restaurant at the Four Seasons, but also the Macaroni Grill across the street and even the food court. Made a nightly walk to the Marble Slab (closes at 9:24 PM) for unbelievable ice cream. Hua was our favorite beach just 5 minutes north of the airport. Free parking, gorgeous sand, calm bay.

May 2011
We had a wonderful family vacation. We had two families (with 4 kids). The kids had a blast and loved running through the palm trees in the backyard. The pools were great and never very busy! It was nice to be so close to the grocery store and Starbucks for the mornings. We are looking forward to coming back and making this an annual vacation!

We just came back from our stay at this home and we truly enjoyed every bit of it. The place was really like a home -- everything you have in your own home, you'll have them here and more. So, needless to say, you don't need to bring anything else but your bathing suit and clothes. The place was very clean and well stocked with cooking needs, towels, beach paraphernalias, etc. The owners were very helpful and promptly called us back when we had a question. Further, the directions for the house they provided to us were very easy to follow. The place was pretty much accessible to beaches,sight-seeing, shopping and the Kona International Airport. We pretty much were able to see the whole island during our stay. The Sensei restaurant across the street was very good. Although, the supermarket (I couldn't recall the name) was very expensive. I've paid double of the price I usually pay in New York. Other than little thing, everything was perfect. I would recommend this place to my friends and relatives.

April 2011
Our family just enjoyed a fabulous vacation in Hawaii staying in this great townhouse. Had plenty of room for our 5 plus my parents, who liked the bedroom on the ground floor. The pullout couch is upstairs in a study area between the master bedroom and another bedroom with two single beds, which meant that the kids could all fall asleep upstairs and the grown ups could still use the living area. Great kitchen, easy walk to the Kings shops & Queens Market. You can also walk to A-beach, although the resort area seems to prefer if you drive (no sidewalk on part of the walk). Very clean, modern, nice bathrooms & well-stocked kitchen. Very short drives to fantastic beaches. We made lots of use of the beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, and the grill on the back patio. Would stay again!

I normally don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to write about our positive experience at this condo. Multiple bedrooms worked well for our extended family and the open kitchen/eating/family area gave us plenty of space without tripping over each other. The lanai was a popular spot for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful weather. The condo was clean and the furnishings were well maintained. We felt like we were in someone's home. The location also worked well for us due to the proximity to 2 beaches - A-Bay and Mauna Kea. A-Bay is within walking distance and Mauna Kea was a short drive away. We arrived at the condo a few days after the tsunami and A-bay had more clean-up. Therefore, most of our beach time was at Mauna Kea. There are a limited number of parking spots, so go early. We used the beach towels, cooler, beach chairs and boogie boards from the condo. The boys experimented with the boogie boards and had a blast. The condo is located across from the Queen's Shops and next to the King's shops. Both have a variety of stores and restaurants which worked well for an ice cream or coffee stop, picking up a few souveniers or shopping for clothing or jewelry. The boys also loved the resort swimming pool. The condo is close enough that it was a short walk, but not so close as to have pool noise. This location was perfect for us as we were looking for something outside of downtown Kona yet close enough to the beaches and other activities. Overall, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay at the condo and on the Big Island!
