Excellent location in Waikoloa! The unit is on the ground floor parking right at the entry of the unit. The beach supplies were a huge hit and so very helpful versus having to otherwise rent such things at local shops. Master bedroom and master bath were amazing, as were the outside sitting areas.

There is a difference between a rental unit and a home. This is a well-cared for home where everything from the decor to the doorstop has been carefully considered. At one point, we were look for the beach towels. I knew they had to be somewhere because every other detail had been attended to. And sure, enough, there they were! We had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the shops. 10/10

I would give 10 stars if I could! Everything was exactly as described if not better. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything promised. Beach gear was amazing! View and location was beautiful. Beds were comfy. Everything was clean and in excellent condition.

Location is great. This is really a one bedroom with a sliding door to make a second sleeping area. If it was other adults with us would have not been ideal. The hot water was hit and miss in the showers and most days was not hot at all. I would not stay at this location again but the area is great and pool was great.

This was my first time on the Big Island, and I had such a wonderful stay! The view, the location, the condo itself...all were fabulous. The beach and shops were all within a 5-10 minute walk; a real bonus if you don't want to rent a car. I really appreciated the super comfy bed (not something you can always count on), A/C and fully stocked kitchen. The owners, Tracy and Carmine, were excellent communicators - friendly and super responsive. I'm already planning my return visit and will definitely book with them again!

We had a great two week stay at this property. The unit is exactly like the photos. The furniture is very comfortable with plenty of spaces to sit and enjoy the view of A-bay and the mountains. The bed in the primary was very comfortable. The kitchen is very functional and well equipped. The large terrace has a nice mix of sun and shade. It has a slight ocean view between other buildings but it was only a sort walk to a beach so we did not care about this. The view of the mountains was spectacular. Waikoloa Vista is a very nice, quiet development with a great pool for lounging or swimming laps. There are not a lot of activities for younger kids. It is an easy walk to shops, restaurants, and The Hilton Resort. A day pass to the Hilton pool complex is well worth the money.

Overall it was a nice property. A bit on the dark side and found kitchen lighting a bit low. On the cleaning side, the lanai had spills on it and the kitchen sink drain had food trapped in the cage and drain basket. The insides of the cabinets could use a clean as well as under the master bed. But otherwise good. We enjoyed the location very much.

The villa was extremely clean, well stocked with pantry staples and appliances (rice cooker, four choices for making coffee, plenty of pots and pans and cooking utensils, and a beautiful outdoor grill). The unit is nicely maintained and was extremely comfortable for the three of us. Kolea is a very nice resort with a lovely pool and hot tub and a path to the beach. This particular villa is well situated - an easy walk to the pool and to the shops, etc., but not on the main road. The host was right there when we needed help. High winds knocked the wifi out in the area, and I contacted the host, not knowing whether or not it was just our unit, and she quickly learned that it was an area-wide outage and sent me regular updates from Spectrum about the status of the repair. She also answered my questions before we arrived. We did not take advantage of the Hilton pass because the Kolea resort is much nicer, but it is available for those who want it. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay in this condo. It has everything we needed to feel right at home. The two balconies were well used -one for eating and one for reading. We were happy we could walk to the beach and the two shopping areas. The pool looked nice though we never used it as I prefer the sand and salt water.

Overall a great location and we would stay there again. The easy walk to the beach or to King's restaurants, the safety, the community, the gym, the pool and spa, no cockroaches/bugs...etc. That being said, there were a several things that the cleaning folks (management company) needed to address; I guess that comes with a short term rental; a remote owner is dependent on a management company, and that is why we took a star off.

Vista is a great place to stay and Resortica is a great host. The problem with this unit is the noise. Whenever it is windy, which is often, the vent in the bathroom rattles, along with some other rattling that we couldn't quite locate, making sleep often difficult. And they were remodeling the unit directly above and that made for frequent daytime noise that began at around 8:30 a.m. most mornings. Otherwise, this unit, while old by Vista standards, is a great value in a fantastic location.
