Very outdated. You pay for what you get, which was ok. Need to update your intertainment, TV very tiny, volume speaker sound cracked, couldn't listen to the radio, washing machine made aloud noise when spinning cycle. Power outlets not enough power very weak. Also thank you for servicing the unit with complimentary etiquette, but there wasnt enough to accommodate for 4 guest. Laundry soap was added to the dish washing soap bottle, maybe to save more money. Other than that it was a pleasant stay at the Alii Kai.
I'll definitely recommend it to a friend if your on a tight budget.

Perfect spot and was as advertised. With a very minimal investment (a newer, larger tv would cost $300 vs the 30” in the living room and one more piece of furniture to sit on), it would be even better. We had unusual storms and spent more time in then normal so those features would have helped. But it’s a spacious, clean condo that worked fine for us.

The location was good. The property needed alot of repairs and a good cleaning it was quite dirty. Most of the windows did not work, the kitchen drawers did not slide out properly, i had to tighten the faucet in the kitchen as it was going to fall off, the top of the fridge was covered in dust and dirt, the fan in the master bedroom was too loud to use, could not get the TV to work, wasnt a big deal as we dont watch alot, it would be nice to have more seating area in the living room, one couch was not enough.

This was the perfect location for our little family. The beds were amazing…I should have checked what kind of mattress because WOW! Pillows too! 100%
Everything we needed for our stay was provided, there was even snorkel gear and boogie boards. Great communications with management and totally appreciated their readiness to help up enjoy our stay. Would stay again but Kauai is overrun by tourism and it seemed like the local community was edged out of housing, beaches, and so much more by the travelers. Tread lightly for reals, y'all. Thank you! We loved our stay and appreciate everything.

2.5 stars. We were disappointed with this place. While the location was fabulous and the apartment had incredible views, the dated furniture, lack of full seating in the living room, and general disrepair was a downer. Lamps in the living room were broken, the fridge's motor was incredibly loud throughout the day, the bathroom toilet squealed, drawers were loose, and their was duct tape holding windows together. If you are planning on just spending your evenings here, it's good enough, but if you are hoping to spend time relaxing and accessing the amenities, we wouldn't recommend it.

This property is great if you need a basic place to stay. It has a nice mountain view but is in a state of neglect. We had a good time but if felt like living in a shack.

2nd floor end unit so not much noise from other tenants

cons:
besides info from property manager unit is NOT within walking distance of any beaches
whole unit needs updating
master bathroom toilet had to be flushed by taking the lid off
over was not usable due to toxic fumes coming from it when used
and other small issues that made the place feel like it was held together with a shoe string and duct tape.

This unit should NEVER be rented out. Paint peeling off walls, half the windows are inoperable,termites in master bathroom, black mold in 2nd bathroom, furniture outdated and dirty, leather massage lounger has exposed wires making it a safety hazard. Pictures that are shown want you to believe something other than what this unit really is, a dump. This owner has NO pride of ownership and shame on Arrived for not checking out the property before listing it as luxurious. We will NEVER use Arrived again and I strongly recommend others spend a little more money and use a reputable company or book directly from the owner.

It is a spacious lodging and most of the time, quiet place. The birds and mountains and lush foliage outside the windows are wonderful. Close to ocean views. Kitchen, beds and bathrooms are fine. Some furniture not very stable.

We stayed at this place on our first visit to Kauai, and we couldn't be happier with the location and the views from this condo, is simply recomforting to have a morning coffee overlooking Hanalei mountains from the deck/patio.
