There is no better place to unwind and "Slow Yourself Down". We've stayed here before and we look forward to returning - hopefully sooner than later.

Only downside is no A/C, which can be a little warm in the summer daytime, but with open windows (there are several), the ocean breeze makes it cool enough for night time sleeping. This condo is in a great location with a beautiful view of the ocean and beach area. The first morning we were there we saw whales breaching in the distance. The grounds are beautiful and the condo is very comfortable. The owners were very helpful with suggestions for dinner and things to do around town. The only thing that might want to be checked on is the TV and remote in the living room. We changed the batteries but still couldn't get the remote to work with the TV. We were able to turn on the TV manually. Also the TV in the living room looks like there is some damage to the screen on the right side, it has a line going through it. I would recommend this condo to anyone that wants to fall asleep to the ocean waves.

We loved our stay at Alii Kai! It was breathtaking to stand on the balcony and overlook the ocean and the north coast. It really is hard to describe how close you are to it! Both bedrooms have huge windows that overlook this view so it was amazing each morning to wake up to the sunrise.
The condo was fabulous - very clean and very cozy. The bedrooms and bathrooms were large and the kitchen was well appointed and had everything you needed. The trade winds kept the condo cool. There was plenty of parking and easy access to the unit.
The condo had a generous supply of beach gear that we took to Hanalei Bay. We picked up coffee and breakfast from The Spot (in the Princeville Shopping Center that was close by) and headed early to the beach to get good parking. The beach was fabulous! We were in walking distance to town where we grabbed lunch. This was a perfect beach day for us.
Alii Kai also has a lovely pool that we were able to spend some time at. The gardens in the complex are beautiful.
Kurt was very responsive and flexible as we were planning our trip. While visiting the islands, we stayed at 4 properties. but this was our favorite. We would love to come back for longer next time!

We loved being able to make meals in the condo as Hanalei is extremely busy for dine in. We just wished the kitchen had some updated pots, pans, and cooking utensils. It was hard to find a good pan/pot to cook in that everything didn’t stick to. Beds are comfy, we loved the beach chairs, cooler, boogie boards! We ended up buying a beach umbrella and left it for future guests to use. Overall we LOVED our stay and hope to visit again in the future!

The condo is a perfect place to stay in the Princeville area. Breakfast on the lanai searching for whales was priceless. The king bed was very comfortable and falling asleep to the sound of waves (and they were huge while we were there!) was incredible. I did visit the pool twice and met some very nice people. So many local beaches to visit - such a great experience. We would absolutely stay again.

This place is amazing. We could not believe how large the condo is - very spacious and comfortable. And then the views from the expansive lanai and each bedroom. There is high-quality furniture on the lanai, where we spent hours watching birds and whales. The natural sound machine comes from the crashing waves at night. Very soothing and we miss it already. So fortunate to have stayed here and can't wait to come back!

The place was wonderful. The views were as pictured (spectacular) and the sound of the surf was great. The condo was clean, and very nice. It was more than enough room for the two of us (it was more spacious than I was expecting from the pictures). There were really nice "little" extras, like a cooler and blue ice packs to keep a picnic lunch cool. They also provided beach towels and chairs as well as things like snorkeling masks and body boards. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to friends.

When we read the description that included '"Wow" Ocean views from every room and balcony" we were hopeful, but somewhat skeptical. When we arrived, it was dark and we couldn't see anything outside, but we could certainly hear the waves crashing just below. When we woke up the next morning....well, all I can say is that the afore-mentioned description hardly does it justice! The view is spectacular and the condo is elegant. We will definitely want to stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

My husband and I really enjoyed the gorgeous views and refreshing ocean breezes during our stay. I was initially concerned about no AC, but we were comfortable with the windows open and the provided fan. We also very much appreciated the washer and dryer in the unit.
Unfortunately, the condo was not ready when we arrived to check-in as it had not yet been cleaned from the previous visitors. Our check-in was delayed by nearly three hours, which was particularly frustrating because we only had booked for two days. However, we were able to get in touch with Curt and appreciated his attention to the issue.
Overall, we would definitely recommend this space -- the location is very nice, in a quiet community with coffee, groceries, and other shops in walking distance. If we had the time, we definitely would have loved to stay longer.

Well appointed in every way, the condo has a nice Hawaiian feel without being too kitschy. I'm not a fan of carpeting but the light color made it obvious that they clean the carpets regularly. Curt is a great host and was easy to connect with and the towns of Hanalei and Princeville are very welcoming- the whole island wants and needs responsible, healthy travellers!

Don't miss this one! We have stayed in over 20 places in Princeville and the views from this wonderful condo are UNSURPASSED!!! The master bedroom, middle room AND living room views are spectacular. Thats not all - the ocean sound is with you day and night - enjoy some great sleep. If you sleep in you'll see the sky painted with a beautiful Kauai sunrise and if you're up early you can sit on the lanai (you could spend all day in these chairs!) to enjoy the show. We can't wait until our return.

View, view, view. This Condo has amazing ocean/coast views from the lanai and both bedrooms. It is perched on the cliffs above the Pacific Ocean. We saw turtles, dolphins, birds, Kite-Surfers, and outrigger canoes. The condo had everything that we needed to spend a comfortable week with our family. In addition to the beautifully appointed condo we had access to a very nice swimming pool and tennis courts. Both located not far from the unit. Beach chairs, boogie boards, and snorkeling gear is provided and in good condition. This property is located at the end of the road in a quiet setting. The owner checked in with us to make sure that we were enjoying his property. I highly recommend this property for your next vacation on Kauai.

This beautiful property in Princeville was absolutely perfect! It felt like we were staying at someone's home and not a rental. I loved staring out at the ocean all day and the stars at night! I'm pretty sure the owners have thought of every single need a guest could want! I miss Kauai but I miss the luxury of the condo even more! It was the ideal place to relax after a long day of sun. Condo was perfect in every way for relaxing ocean views and sunsets//sunrises. The listing was very accurate.
The only problem, which was our problem, was that we did not realize rhat Princeville is so far away from the activities we booked. 75-90 minutes each way for our sunset cruise, zip line, and dinner at the Beach House. Princeville is more laidback I suppose. Perfect for hiking, golfing, and sunsets.
This condo exceeded our booking expectations.

Had a wonderful stay in this condo. The location is perfect overlooking the reef. Saw turtles, dolphins and many birds off the balcony. The constant sound of the waves and fresh ocean air blowing in was refreshing and relaxing. It is comfortable and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed. The snorkeling at Tunnels and Ke'e Beach was fantastic!!! Another great thing was the Wailua River cruise up the river to the Fern Grotto. Our Welcoming Hawaiian hosts made it fun and entertaining and take pride in their family traditions. Thank you Curt for sharing your little slice of Heaven with us. We will be back!!!!!

Great ocean views from almost every window! The bedrooms were super cozy but the living area furniture was dated and uncomfortable. The Beach chairs were not comfortable, would recommend new chairs and add a beach umbrella. The location is super close to Hanalei Beach which was our favorite when visiting but didn't feel we could enjoy it fully without proper Beach gear. A little let down by this rental, wouldn't recommend. Also the check in and out times were listed at 3/4pm and 10/11am in this app and the home's binder so that was a bit annoying trying to plan activities.

This is a lovely 2 bedroom condo in a small community a few minutes outside the center of Princeville. We stayed for 2 nights with 4 adults in February and it wasn't long enough. We spent our mornings whale watching and went on several local executions. We enjoyed our dinners on the cute little main streets, my husband loved the small path to a cave down below and our friends were sad they did not have time to take advantage of the tennis courts! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The kitchen has a good selection of pots and pans, there are not a lot is spices and extras. The place was super clean and their cleaning lady was awesome!

My wife and I and her Dad were fortunate enough to spend four days in Curt's condo. My biggest complaint is not being able to spend more time there. The condo could not be situated in a more perfect location! The views from the Living Room and Bedrooms are fantastic!!! Coffee in the morning takes on a whole new meaning when you're sitting on the Lanai, listening to the surf and taking in the majestic views of the cliffs of the shoreline. Even at night, while enjoying a glass of wine with my wife, we viewed more stars than ever before.
The condo itself is very spacious with plenty of room for up to 6. The furnishings are very comfortable and the Decor is vintage Hawaii and has all of the charm that you would hope for. We made several breakfasts, including the most incredible pineapple, and found the kitchen to be equipped with everything you could possibly need. There is a Foodland a couple of miles away and the town of Hanalei is another five minutes or so. The choices for dining and shopping there are great and Hanalei Bay is amazing!
Curt is great to deal with and has thought of everything and we would stay again in a heartbeat.

Really loved the majestic views, sounds of ocean waves and tropical winds. Wish we stayed a little more. The interiors are a bit old and needs some repair but we didn't care too much about it considering the real awesomeness of the place. We are coming back to this place whenever we get a chance. This condo was recommended to us by a friend who had stayed here in the past. What a place!!. No wonder that it was recommended. And I just past on the recommendation to some of our other friends who come to Hawaii to vacation. Wish I had known about it earlier. - There are spectacular ocean views from every room. I mean you are right on top of the ocean with this condo - You hear the ocean, you can smell the ocean, and you can swoon from the balcony all day long. Beds were super comfy. Condo is beautifully decorated. It is at the end if the road - no traffic noise, just to the sound of the wind and ocean. Great pool, tennis access, near golf course, and some of Hawaii best beaches, restaurants, shopping - lots of privacy and quiet. You have it all here. We just booked it again for next October. Stay here, you'll love it.

This condo is perfect for couples or a family who would like a quiet and beautiful launchpad for exploring the north shore. The ocean views from the living and bedrooms are outstanding. The condo is well outfitted with comfortable over-sized furniture and beach necessities (towels, cooler, snorkeling gear). My husband and I found ourselves wishing we had bikes to ride around the condo areas of Princeville, but otherwise everything we needed was right there.
