The property is a must stay in Princeville. The location has great unobstructed views of the ocean. Sleeping with the windows open and hear the waves.The area was well kept in a great neighborhood. No need for a/c at this one. You get great cool ocean breezes that are just fine. We went in January and could see the whales from the property. Great communication from the owner. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.

Nothing better than sitting out on the patio watching whales breaching and tail slapping. We had an excellent vantage point to enjoy this spectacle for 3-4 mornings.

We feel very lucky to have found this magnificent home. Stepping outside onto the cliffside view and seeing the whales breach and do their courtship dance. Listening to the surf under the starlight. Wow. Brandi is a wonderful host, and her home has very nice kitchen accessories with very good cookware, sharp cutlery, and nice dinnerware. There are a lot of things I could write about this magical island and perfect accommodations, but I can't match the experience of actually being here. If you are looking for a place here in Kauai, this is the place to stay. Book now. I guarantee you'll love it. Mahalo.

4 of us we’re visiting Kauai’s north shore for the first time and this was a great location to experience Princeville, and with gorgeous ocean views from every room. The beach chairs and towels were great for our daily 10 min drive to Hanalei Bay or Annini Beach. I would stay here again!

Literally on the cliff side with the best snorkeling on the island 4min hike down the hill. 730 am for sea turtles. Real quiet and everything closes early, good for us, but something to keep in mind. Only downside is their is not much of a local vibe, but that is common for much of the island, barring a few small towns.

We had a great time at Brandi’s condo! It was well-stocked, clean, comfortable, and had great views. We enjoyed using the beach equipment provided and noted some beach toys and games in a hall closet. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with the basics and some starter toiletries (there was even a hair dryer and straightener in the primary bath). Brandi was quick to communicate and had some great suggestions for us. The view is outstanding, and we enjoyed sitting outside taking it all in (one note for the non-sun worshippers, the back patio gets direct morning sun with no shade, but you can easily enjoy the view and breeze inside on the comfy recliners). We had a great stay and highly recommend Brandi’s condo!

The sunsets every night were amazing. We had a great time. Only complaint is that we didn't stay longer. Condo had great beach chairs and body boards for the beach. Brandi had great recommendations for us as well.

My friend and I had a very relaxing get away at this condo. The view is unobstructed and falling asleep with ocean waves and breeze was rejuvenating. The condo had everything we need from a fully stocked kitchen to boogie board and snorkeling gears.
This was my first time staying at Princeville and I love it way better than other locations I’ve stayed in the past. It’s so close to the pristine north shore beaches, trails, restaurants and grocery stores. Yet it’s quite and away from the crowds. The drive to Kapaa, Poipu and the west side is beautiful! (Use the Kappa bypass to avoid traffic if you don’t need to make a stop in Kappa)
I highly recommend this condo and I’d stay here again.

Brandi's condo is located on a quiet bluff with endless ocean views. We fell asleep to the sounds of the surf and awakened to glistening waves and frolicking whales in our backyard. The kitchen lacks a bit in style but has fully working appliances large and small and has more than everything you need. Linens are also well-stocked and spotlessly clean with extras of everything -including lots of beach towels. There are plenty of beach toys and chairs, equipment, books, games, children and baby stuff. But the very best of all the extras were the powerful binoculars that made the waves and the whales seem like they were performing just for us.
Brandi also has great taste in restaurants we asked for her faves and she did not disappoint. She was a welcoming host, responsive and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The view is amazing; waking up to the soothing sound of the ocean, having a cup of coffee in the lanai, while watching many species of birds in the lawn and the whales afar in the ocean was priceless.
The condo was nice, clean and has a well appointed kitchen. The beds were comfortable with an amazing view of the ocean from each bedroom.
The condo is closer to restaurants, grocery store and is located in a well maintained community.
Brandi is an excellent host. I contacted her a couple of times and each time she responded very quickly. She sent in a new iron within a couple of hours of reporting a missing one; She took time to share information about the local beach, trails, turtle cave(which is down the cliff, the trail entrance is next to the condo).
She accommodated a flexible check out. On the day of departure, I accidentally left a backpack with valuables at the condo & called Brandi from the airport; Though she herself was travelling that day, she arranged for someone to pickup my backpack before the next guests arrived and offered for it to be mailed soon upon her return to town. She went over and beyond to help address my situation; Her professionalism and attention to her guests are impeccable.
Brandi is truly an exceptionally host!.

We arrived at #5104 for a week's stay at the end of September. Weather was gorgeous all week, with moderate humidity. This condo is beautifully kept and has a view from both bedrooms, living room and lanai that can hardly be matched. Owner's descriptions are right on, and they're great to work with. We celebrated a wedding with close friends, and a birthday. Had an absolutely excellent time. Only caveat is to be assertive if you get some neighbors directly upstairs who seem oblivious to everyone on the island but themselves... loud music (bad taste) and loud talk until all hours got old real fast. Almost nightly remiinders were necessary... But, that's the luck of the draw. If you're going to Kauai, this is a great place in a great location!

We stayed at the beautiful Ocean veiw property-5104. It was everything we expected and more.The location was perfect. Beautifully manicured, very well maintained. We loved the unit/two bedroom condo. Perfect for our Honeymoon and would sleep great a small family. The description was accurate but it was so much more than that. It was so confortable,clean and the decorations were done to give you a feeling of newness and that it was well loved. It had everything you could need to enjoy the beaches and surrounding areas.Backpacks, Coolers,Beach chairs and Snorkeling equipment and more. Amazing how wonderful this made our day trips and made our stay very affortable. The guestbook gave great photos of ideas to see as well as on line. Very fun to read and helpful. Paul and Kim provided everything we needed to answer our questions and to make the stay the best ever. Being newly married, It was the first experience renting something "on line". I had no experience and they made it very simple and clear. They sent all the info needed and it was very nice and problem free. We woke to breathtaking sunrises that we could see from our bedroom window. The sunsets were spectacular also. Enjoyed the moisture that made everything fresh and the days were filled with sunshine most of the time here. Enjoyed Blue dolphin Catamaran dinner cruise on NaPali coast.Cooking in well equiped kitchen, made it feel like home. Shopped at local markets for fresh fruits and fish! Every morning we enjoyed our100% Kona coffee on a nice table provided outside with the grassy bluff right at our feet and incredible scenery right in front of us. We felt like we were on the edge of the world and the ocean views as far as our eyes could see. My personal favorite was breakfast on the lanai, and Star gazing at night. We also hiked down the cliffs to try to find the turtles. We were not disapointed! We watched a large turtle enjoying the surf . Found a waterfall and enjoyed the cool water run over my head! Amazingly magical place.I would love to recommend to family and friends alike.Wayne and I felt like it was an "old friend" by the time the week was up.Sad to say goodbye. Thank you to my friend Trish, Paul and Kim for sharing the family treasure with us. We feel blessed to have spent quality time in this special place. It will always hold fond memories of our honeymoon at truly one of most beautiful places in the world to us. May God richly bless all who come to stay here. Aloha! till we meet again.

We spent one week in this great condo. It is large, newly renovated and has fantastic views of the ocean. You probably will rent a car for your Kaua'i vacation and the location of the condo gives you further needs for a car. We had dinner once in the condo, otherwise we went to Hanalei. Even if you'd like to have dinner in Princeville, you probably would need a car.
When we arrived there was a welcoming gift and the guestbook/information book gave a lot of tips of where to and what to do during your stay. I would recommend this condo to anyone.

We can't begin to thank you enough for opening your beautiful home to us. After years of saying we'd take a real vacation together, and ten years after we spent our honeymoon at Alii Kai, it was a dream come true for our family. It was the first time in three years that I've been away from my laptop for more than 10 hours, that our children were brave enough to jump into the ocean, that the four of us took the time to lie down in the grass to count shooting stars together, and the second time, in Kauai, that I knew I married exactly the right person. Our family needed this more than I can say, and we'll be forever grateful to yours.
We have some wonderful photos (that I'll post to facebook when I get them uploaded) and you're welcome to use any of them if you'd like additional "generic" shots from the area- double rainbows from the lanai, ne'ne, sunrise from the master bedroom, closest beaches (we had Sea Lodge to ourselves 3 of the 4 days we went there!), etc. There truly isn't a better possible location- the condo is just minutes from everywhere we wanted to go, and the lawn was just perfect for our children. We'd never stay anywhere else on the island again!

We stayed in this condo for a week and loved it. We went to Queen's bath twice (very close). We also went to Tunnels Beach, also very close, but get there before 8 AM for a parking spot. All of the gear in the closet was great. The beach chairs were better than anything I have ever purchased and thank god for the umbrella or we would have been burnt! The views are amazing. Every morning I woke up to the sunrise and was able to eat breakfast on the lanai to the most incredible scenery. We hikes down the cliff one afternoon (head down by the white sign to the right if you are looking out of the lanai. warning- it is steep! have shoes or sandals with straps on), and ventured over to the cove area that you can see directly below the condo. There were tons of turtles! we had brought snorkel gear so we just jumped right in next to them. Note: you would not want to do this during high tide or in the winter.
We also used the pool when we didnt feel like going anywhere and it was wonderful. Hardly anyone uses it and it is very quiet. They also have a great shade area with a shelf of free books.
Other activities I recommend: Drive Waimea Canyon, hike to the beach (forgot the name) frmo the end of the road in Hanalei, go to Tunnels Beach, try Scottys BBQ, we did the power hanggliding, it was awesome!

What can I say but this was heaven on earth!! Not only was the locale spectacular but all the extra tips and amenities truly made our trip. My boys (12 and 8) used the boogey boards and beach chairs every day. We found trails within walking distance to explore that led to some amazing spots. We will be back! Thanks for everything. This is a beautiful condo in a beautiful spot. The photos are great, but even better in person. The property was very clean and well maintained. The owner provided a lot of things you don't think about until you are there. There were plenty of beach chairs, towels and a cooler to take to the beach. This is incredibly helpful and makes your stay that much nicer. There is a lot to do in this area, with great beaches very near by. We really like Anini beach.
The owner was absolutely great to work with! I would highly recommend this property and will stay here again (if available) when we return to Kauai.

Wow!.......get ready for the ride of your life......perfect setting, incredible views, very clean, surpassed all expectations, stayed at the ocean front condo with our close friends, have already booked for next year, lots to do or just lay back, beaches galore, fine dining close by just follow Kim's book, recommend Kapaa beach bike ride, Waimea Canyon a must and Na Pali Coast either by boat or helicopter, loved the Dolphin Restaurant in Hanalei Bay...have fun.........JC.

My wife and I stayed in this same unit on our honeymoon in 1987 and we were very happy to find it avaliable to celebrate our 25th anniversary. It was all we had hoped for and more. Kim and Paul are very thoughtful and caring owners and have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. Beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, coolers, backpacks, beach towels. You need it, they got it! You can never say enough about the view from the condo. Spectacular. We saw many a whale playing in our backyard. We were up early every day with activities on the island and it was so nice to come "home" and just relax in the evening and sit and enjoy the view. We hiked the Kalalau trail, played golf at Makai, went deep sea fishing (caught a Mahi Mahi!) drove up to the Waimea Canyon, kayaked on the Hanalei river and spent time at Hanalei and Lumahai beaches. We had our anniversary dinner at Makana Terrace in the St. Regis Hotel--highly recommend, the sunset is unbelievable. Ice cream at Lambert's is the best (Kauai Mud Pie!) You can't have a bad day on Kauai and it was made even better because of this condo. We made a vow to come back MUCH sooner than 25 years and we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Kim and Paul were very easy to communicate with and it was very comforting to know we had rented from such great and reliable owners.
